Because it implied to blacks that they were delusional complaining about police discrimination and abuse.

Key word here: "some cases". Individual cases are not the same as imaginary institutional racism.

Careful now, there are fragile egos about, the identities of whom are entirely predicated on their skin pigment. Wouldn't want to fortuitously knock one over to have it shatter.Tekeristan wrote:It's okay to be human.

Dredge wrote:BLM is both the dumbest and smartest movements out there. Its dumb because it doesn't actually protest anything. As opposed to the NAACP, which protested actual physical laws that were in place to limit the rights of blacks. BLM just yells, "We need justice!" because a few police officers did the wrong thing. Im not defending what they did, but it isnt proof of institutional racism by itself. That is evident by the fact that the news started showing police shootings that weren't even bad incidents.
They're smart because its so hard to peg them. I hate it when people say, "You can't say BLM is bad because of some people. Its not a just one organization." However, it does make it hard, because when you make your cause so broad, you can always rely on that fallback excuse. Also, their name is brilliant, and probably why they've lasted so long. I mean, its really hard to say, "I'm against black lives matter"

Thats the nature of their complete decentralization.

Decentralization never works outside of terrorist groups. As Occupy Wall Street proved, any overarcing message gets bogged down and lost, plus it's open to assholes inviting themselves and do shit claiming it's on behalf of the movement.

That's not a strawman. That is very frequently how white people are portrayed. For every advocate of social justice talking about the intersectionality of being white, there are a hundred talking about the intersectionality of being a "person a color", and I wager that estimate is incredibly generous. The rhetoric of contemporary social justice almost never takes into account intersectionality when it comes to white people.
As I just said. Obviously people are going to talk about the intersectionality of people who are discriminated against, that's the whole point of intersectionality.
White people haven't been historically oppressed, it's not racist to not include white people in a group of people who have faced historic discrimination.

Ok then.

"So if police abuse you and overreact based on your skin color you should say 'Thank you Sir, may I please have another?' then shut up."
