[DRAFT] To Serve Children

Postby Coriltan » Sat Oct 21, 2017 4:56 pm

In response to a slow news week, angry parents, crying toddlers, and irate chefs have been petitioning for a change in children's food.

1."My parents only give me vegetables!" whines hungry 5-year-old @randomname@. "Make parents give children only food approved by a panel of children. Children's food rights now!"

Result: Obese children waddle around, waiting for their government-approved meals of pizza and fries.

2." What about all the poor babies forced to eat tasteless mush?" says @randomname@, a flavor rights crusader. "Baby food is supposed to be good for babies! It's withering the pallets of these young children. Make the food you give to children worthy of a five-star restaurant!"

Result: Truffles are served from birth.

3."Why don't we just let parents decide? It's the easiest thing to do anyway." states apathetic citizen @randomname@ " So what if some little brats starve and some parents lavish precious resources on their children? Not my problem."

Result: Starving children are forced to eat their parents.

Do some people think this is kinda overlapping? I don’t, but I’m not an expert on the matter

Unless I say they do, in which case, there is a nonzero chance.

Not truly, it could rise civil rights. Pushing government out of the house hold per se. However, there are many food issues already, so this should be given deeper thought in the end...

It also could lower civil rights

It depends, really. Reason I stated, it needs more deeper speculation and thought.

Isn't there one quite similar to this already? Weather kids should eat healthy or candy and pastries, I think?

Yes, strong overlaps. This draft isn't worth proceeding with, I would say.
