Territorial Claims: Modern day China, but with Mongolia (These must be adjacent to one another.)

History: The Qing dynasty has been ruling China since 1644. However, with the beginning of rise of liberal and conservative ideas imported from British and French trade and rapid expansion of Chinese literacy, China has sought to westernize and introduce modern ideas in Chinese society to prevent her from endless wars. In 1855, Tongzhi rose to the throne. As a liberal thinker, he was prepared to strike deals with the Western colonialists to give up land. This although made him very unpopular with the people, he managed to crush the Taiping Rebellion in 1857 with the help of the French. In 1858, he began diplomatic relations with the UK and France and finally ended Western conquest of China, by paying war reparations.
In 1863, Tongzhi with the help of British industrialists, began the processing of building its first factory in Nanjing. By 1864, a railroad connecting Beijing and Tianjin was established. Tongzhi also enforced a new education system based on Prussia, and modernized the military on the European model. He easily crushed most traditionalist revolts and this brought him great respect with the people. People of China became healthier, literate and more diligent. China is becoming equal to the Western Powers.
On 24 May 1864, a Constitution was signed in Nanjing, in which China became a liberal constitutional monarchy based on the British system. The people happily accepted these reforms and China entered a new era in its history, a era of the Industrial Revolution. China adopted interventionist capitalism and the free press, as well as the freedom of speech and religion.
However there are tough days ahead. Japan and Korea have united and presents a major threat to the Chinese. The Westerners are still eyeing on China's land and Russia to the north grows stronger every day. The Qing must stand the test of time, and let China become the center of the world, like it was in history. (Two Paragraphs Minimum)

History:
The Haitian slave revolt and subsequently revolution was the first of a series of independence movements in the Caribbean.
The Haitian rebels bogged down the French and the idea of a free society for themselves spread to the rest of the Caribbean. This war when mostly as it has in history.
By 1804 the rest of the French Caribbean colonies were in open revolution against first the struggling empire and then the republic. Napoleon needed his forces elsewhere and had signed peace treaties with each independence movement.
The subjugation of the Spanish crown by Napoleon sparked the revolution of the Spanish colonies the region, the revolutions in the Spanish colonies ended one month after that of the French.
In the British colonies, revolutionary movements had been stirring but had no real momentum until 1803. Upon the outbreak of the War of the Third Coalition taxes had been hiked in the colonies and military power in the region reduced greatly. British revolutionaries jumped on the opportunity and declared independence in the exploding powderkeg of a region the Caribbean had become. Timing had granted these revolutions an early victory against the British, who did not spare the resources or manpower to keep the colonies under British rule.
The Dutch were also hit swiftly by their Caribbean colonies, many simply not willing to become what were essentially French subjects. The Swedish and Danish colonies declared themselves independent and in the middle of the European war, Sweden had no time for the new country and Denmark had the exact same problem.
After the long conflicts in the region and the dust settled a large group of varying countries stood in the Caribbean to fend for themselves. Their infrastructure in ruins and trade all but cut off with European powers. At the breakout of the War of 1812, many of the Caribbean powers, mostly former British subject states began to worry about a possible reclamation of former Caribbean colonies during this war, these colonies (The Antilles, British Virgin Islands, Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Montserrat) sought a defensive alliance with one another but lacked any high population density. The colonies began to seek aid from their larger Caribbean neighbors, Cuba, Haiti, and The Dominican Republic. At three for varying reasons agreed to this alliance, and set up a meeting hall in Havana, Cuba. Other former colonies of the power of the world applied to join the alliance and soon the whole of the Caribbean was in the, at the time, The Alliance to Defend the Rightful Sovereignty of Caribbean Nations, except Guadeloupe which remained fully independent and self-reliant until 1815.
The Caribbean nations were never attacked by the British during the ordeal and the leaders of the Alliance, presidents and Prime Ministers of the Caribbean saw a unique opportunity by the end of the war. They saw a chance for the Caribbean, their countries to become a player, if a small one, on the stage of the world. In 1815 after Guadeloupe joined the Alliance the Council went to work creating a unified Caribbean, one member of the council, Prime Minister of Jamaica, brought the Articles of Confederation to the table for revisions and modification as It was "What the Americans used". Although this put a sour taste in many of the leaders' mouths, they took a look at it anyhow subsequently and edited it to their liking and requirements. In 1816, the "Articles of Federative Conjuncture" were brought out for local parliaments and Congress to sign. The bill swept through nearly unopposed in most of the State systems, everywhere but The Caribbean Netherlands, where it was debated and discussed for weeks on end before the vote came to pass the document with a 63% majority favoring the document. This set the president for all future Federative Laws, ie the parliament that passes it follows it. This has led to laws varying heavily depending on where you are in the Federation, but this system has gifted the states a much greater freedom to govern themselves.

History: Cavour moved to challenge republican unification efforts by Garibaldi by organizing popular revolts in the Papal States. He used these revolts as a pretext to invade the country, even though the invasion angered the Roman Catholics, whom he told that the invasion was an effort to protect the Roman Catholic Church from the anti-clerical secularist nationalist republicans of Garibaldi. Only a small portion of the Papal States around Rome remained in the control of Pope Pius IX. Despite their differences, Cavour agreed to include Garibaldi's Southern Italy allowing it to join the union with the kingdom of Sardinia in 1860. Subsequently, the Parliament declared the creation of the Kingdom of Italy on February 18, 1861 (officially proclaiming it on March 17, 1861)[composed of both Northern Italy and Southern Italy. King Victor Emmanuel II of Savoy was then declared King of Italy.
Victor Emmanuel II, the first King of the united Italy
Following the unification of most of Italy, tensions between the royalists and republicans erupted. In April 1861, Garibaldi entered the Italian parliament and challenged Cavour's leadership of the government, accusing him of dividing Italy and spoke of the threat of civil war between the Kingdom in the north and Garibaldi's forces in the south. On June 6, 1861, the Kingdom's strongman Cavour died. During the ensuing political instability, Garibaldi and the republicans became increasingly revolutionary in tone. Garibaldi's arrest in 1862 set off worldwide controversy. Following the death of King Emmanuel II in 1865, what was seemingly the only stable political figure in the nation was suddenly replaced by a young and other wise unknown figure - Agosto.

thats mostly in the jungle areas of Africa ( malaria and yellow fever being the worst ). We are staying near the dry and dusty coast. We don't really care about controlling the red sea, our concern is Europe. Other powers I am sure would like to have it, and thus we could use it as a trading chip.

History: Russia has been ruled by the Romanovs for hundred of years. Their reign has lasted since 1613 and their dynasty has had great tsars like Peter the great and Catherine the great. But, things are changing now. When Alexander came to power in 1855, he wanted reform. He wanted to end serfdom and, in 1861, he did exactly that with his emancipation of 1861. But now, the people of Russia wanted democracy. In 1862, a mob started and forced him to make the country a constitutional monarchy. This, was the start of the greater Russian federation.
The people of Russia elected their first prime minister in 1863. Everyone just calls him Vladimir. Since then, he has been running Russia with Alexander and there have been many new reforms in Russia since then. There is also a group of people who are trying to assassinate Alexander. The population of Russia has been growing and has grown to around 80 million people.
