Spain is still pretty fucked. It's unemployment rate is well north of 17%.

How much Euro would be fucked by utter collapse of Spanish economy/state, by the way?

Would it be that final nail to the coffin?

Spanish unnemployement is 30% real. The difference is people with 1 month-contracts by 300 USD$ after they will be fired... and suddenly re-contracted (or not).

This practise allow to the companies to save a lot of money (that usually goes to Social Welfare Reserves). Thus, the next problem will be evident: Rajoy exhausted all the pension funds (in 2011 68 bill.$ --> 2017 -3 bill.$).

Soon there will be a general strike, the unions said.

Notice: Rajoy apllies the Merkel recipes. You have been watched.

Stop your divide and conquer commie, they're all Spanish, united both racially, historically and culturally.

Did I just get called a communist?

The Catalans and the Basque, in particular, would disagree with you.

And hey, let's add the Portuguese in the mix as well, why don't we? They're all Iberian, united both racially, historically and culturally, aren't they?

Isn't that because Spain is, in fact, a much poorer country than it wants to appear?
Same as Italy?

It makes perfect sense that Aragon doesn't want support Castille now, same as Sardinia and Lombardy have enough of poor and criminal Two Sicilies.

In terms of employment, Spain has been fucked since Franco died.

Portugal, who had a similar regime, never had such a problem.

Poland had a problem, but this is now mostly gone.

Yep, it's true that Spain has always had horrifically high unemployment. But the fact that it's always been high doesn't make it ok.

Which is why I said it's possible, and the problem with using the U.K. as an example is that the U.K. hasn't actually left the E.U. yet. If Catalonia leaves Spain it will instantly leave the E.U., whereas Britain is going in about 18 months.
So soon may I follow,
When friendships decay,
And from Love's shining circle
The gems drop away.
When true hearts lie withered,
And fond ones are flown,
Oh! who would inhabit
This bleak world alone?

Because noticing that Putin has a vested interest in destabilising the west is the same as a anti-Semitic conspiracy theory.

It''s hardly a conspiracy theory at this point. Also, Russophobic? Seriously? You wanna pull that disingenuous shit? Nobody hates the people of Russia, just it's government's role in undermining American democracy. I suppose you think opposing Nazis is anti-German?

So some people have started blasting the Spanish national anthem in the streets of BCN and, in retaliation, football teams like Barca and the Atletico of Bilbao boo the anthem before games. That will turn out alright, said no one ever. Image

Putin is obviously not behind this one, but he is behind many far right parties in Europe.

Is he though? To point to a recent example, AfD receives a large amount of funding from extremist American billionaires.

But nonetheless, the far right is irrelevant here.

Aha!... so you don't know WHO is the spanish general attorney ? Hhehhehehehe

Let me explain a bit what is The (politicized) Justice in Spain:

1°) Rafael Català Minister of Justice worked before by Codere (an slot machines factory that shares in IBEX 35). He hired to this general attorney Mr. Maza in pectore.

You need to know the Executive Power hires all the careers (from PP ofc) from Justice Power. No power division!

Català was recently saw in a party with a corrupt guy
http://www.eldiario.es/politica/Rafael- ... 38294.html

2°) Manuel Moix (anti-corruption attorney FIRED by corruption in Panamà) was the man of Maza. The scandal of Caso Lezo and Caso Gurtel still drop the governent of PP. This guy tried to stop the investigation and Maza knew it.

https://www.elconfidencial.com/espana/2 ... z_1391343/

3°) José Manuel Maza "I can see any reason for Moix's resignation"
http://www.elmundo.es/espana/2017/06/01 ... b45e6.html

And finally, These three guys were disapproved by the Spanish Parliament. No deputy speaks to the Minister until he resigns, but he does not want to resign... (Spain is different)

Info about disaprovation resolution: http://www.abc.es/espana/abci-congreso- ... ticia.html

More of Caso Gurtel (spanish corruption from PP). Rajoy is 'by there' involved. Ten years of history
https://elpais.com/especiales/2016/cron ... so-gurtel/

Rajoy declared by Gurtel (the judge ordered to silence the accusation part)

If the World could know better the spanish goverment of PP maybe understand why Catalonia wants exit, i think...

That would be horrible. Spain is dependent on the region for trade, industry and other shit. Spain already is a very poor country with negative income that's slowly rising, the only chance to fix it is coming soon and if Catalonia leaves that would result in poverty and starvation and possibly in all of Spain going bankrupt, who knows what could happen, maybe a Communist faction there could take over, there'd be lines for bread in the streets and we'd have another enemy on Europe's DOORSTEP!
