The World Assembly,
Acknowledging that in order for a commendation to continue to be meaningful, a nation or region receiving a commendation must be outstanding;
Feeling strongly that this august body must re-evaluate whether the act of traveling from region to region and posting nearly identical messages on Regional Message Boards truly meets this high standard;
Appreciating the period when The Featured Region Followers left custom messages for each region and promoted activity among visited region;
Regretting that, through no fault of the region, aggressive raiders discouraged the fun and friendly activities of members of the region;
Noting the claim made by SC#93, that The Featured Region Followers leave "personalized congratulatory messages" on featured region's Message Boards was exaggerated at the time of drafting, and now the messages being left are almost always rote and generic;
Aware that SC#93's assertion that "the World Factbook Entries of many featured regions are preserved on the Regional Message Board of The Featured Region Followers" omitted that archiving was sporadic even at its zenith and has become so rare that less than 10 Factbook Entries were archived in the years of 2015 and 2016 combined;
Dubious that the activities of nation's affiliated with The Featured Region Followers were ever due to regional efforts and teamwork rather than the singular efforts of nations;
Highlighting this point by observing that in recent years, often only a single nation affiliated with the region has traveled to featured regions, if any;
Chagrined that, due to a decline in activity, efforts to assure that member nations presence is welcome in visited regions have been abandoned, sometimes causing affiliated nations to be ejected;
Convinced that for the above reasons, while The Featured Region Followers' contributions to the NationStates Community remain on the whole positive, they do not rise to the extremely high standard of a commendation;
Hereby repeals SC#93, "Commend The Featured Region Followers".
