[Denathor]

On Mars, the Denathoran colony is taking note of other nations taking of Mars. Elliot Fox addresses his crew.

"Time is beginning to run out until other nations arrive with the same intentions as us. I believe we are prepared to commence the second part of our mission: to the asteroid belt!"

The crew cheers as the last part of Denathor's plan becomes plain. Several small shuttles take off from Denathor's Mars colony towards the asteroid belt. There, they will begin mining asteroids for precious metals, which they will then send back to Denathor.

Back on Earth, Denathor annouces its intentions to join the Global Cooling Treaty. The Royal Steward acknowledges the risk of such a plan, but also asserts that the dangers of standing by and not acting are far greater.

[Brysterion]

The day has come. The president gives a final address before the launch. "Today we the people of Brysterion make history! Some people say missions to space are a waste, our statisticians believe Zirons mission alone could have saved 1.5 million starving children from death but hey the sand's red there so to each their own i guess. We aren't doing this because we need to we are doing it because why the *censored* not?! Also today we make history with the first gasoline fueled rocket, the secret is super pressurized and concentrated gasoline and don't worry we used premium, it's a scientific breakthrough. Unfortunately this means we had to build next to a shell gas station. Also my goat Stardust will be going with them as my personal representative and Ziggy will remain here with me. We will be taking a leaf from Zirons book, once we reach the moon we will start farming dragon fruit." The audience cheers as fireworks go off and the pump clicks in the background.
Walking up to the pumps he pulls the nozzle from the gas tank after squeezing it a few times then screws the gas cap on and closes the cover."Believe it or not this is from a car, and it took us a week to fill this things gas tank." His face pales as he looks at the bill."Anyways we will be using nitrous to escape the earths gravitational pull. And let's hope this works!"
The shuttle is prepared for liftoff.
"This is Ground Control to Major Tom"

[Zara Pola]

With the Solar Flare incident that has happened around the world globally, Zara Pola's expansion was quickly stopped and halted for now, and has diverted a bit of the funding to the fixing of the satellites. With the rising climate change, there is currently a discussion in the Chiyoda Castle in Littorio.

In the Royal Palace of Littorio; the Chiyoda..

"Bah! Climate change? Hmph, what is some small weather change going to do to us? You think we'll fall that easily?" spoke Lieutenant General Giusieppe, as he slammed his hands down on the table. "I advise we continue our expansion Duce, those cowardly so-called great countries are trembling!" as he continued to speak his opinion out.

Rodolfo then spoke out against Giusieppe "Are you a fool? Were you not educated? Climate change can mean the end to all of us; with the rising temperatures and rising sea levels! We'll be burnt to crisp, I say we-" Rodolfo was cut off by Giusieppe once again. "That is only simply a theory! I do not believe in those stupid fancy fairy tales you wasted your time on!"

The rest of the generals and ministers were sitting and watching as they watched the arguement between the two. "Fools, we won't be able to agree anything on this if you can't act even act civilized." spoke Kanemoto as she sipped her tea. "I believe it is time to put some funds onto the environment, to delay the global warming, Duce." Rodolfo trying to act calm as he turned towards to Duce Anchovy and her personal adviser and Chief of Staff.

Duce Anchovy sat quietly, as she dwindled with her thumbs until she opened her mouth. "I believe that instead of that environment or not cutting off the military, I decide that we put it into the space programs instead. Sopra il Resto, Virtute Siderum Tenus." quoting Zara Pola's airforce. It was a rather big surprise for the people in the room, as Giusieppe stood up.

"But my Duce! You can't be serious-" Giusieppe was cut off immediately. "I am serious. We won't be able to stop climate change as it is real Lieutenant General. But funding the environment won't help much either, so in other words we must switch to the space for it is still alive." She then turned towards her adviser and looked up at him.

"Kayaba, contact them. We will begin Operation: Alle Stelle!"

(TLDR: The space program is now priority for now, and fixing the satellites.)

After a pretty long time the astronauts arrive at the moon. As they near the moon the driver adjusts his mirrors, eases off the gas and lightly applies the brakes then shifts into neutral. Realizing they are coming in too fast he pulls the E-brake. After coming to a complete stop he shifts into park and takes off his seat belt.
Now the base can begin construction.

The crew don't realize the brake lights are out...

[The Ziron Empire]

Hannibal sat with his military, scientific, and political advisors. A calm and collected feeling filled the room. While the world was filled with turmoil and uncertainty, the Zironian Government knew very well what they had to do.

Emperor Hannibal adjusted the collar of his cost. It poked and prodded at his neck, delivering minor pain to to the Zironian leader. He spoke confidently, but a small hint of annoyance and anger clutched his voice.
"So. How goes our little projects? I assume they are nearing completion?"

Dimitri Wanok, head of the Zironian Black Projects Division was quick to reply.
"Actually Sir, they are already completed. We've managed to create a highly weaponized version of smallpox, and the IZS (Imperial Zironian Ship) Nikita is ready for deployment."

Hannibal smiled with an evil twisted grin.
"Excellent! Deploy the Nikita with a Destroyer escort. Have it move towards Northern Japan, but stay out of Zara Polean waters. Hug their borders, but stay in international waters. I would also like tank divisions and artillery moved to the Brysterion border. A tempeorary precaution of course."

Dimitri nodded and exited the room.

The Ziron Empire has moved the Super Unit IZS Nikita Supercarrier towards Zara Polan waters. With just over one hundred aircraft on board, the vessel is heavily escorted by several destroyers, battleships, frigates, and refuelling ships. Three nuclear missile submarines are also rumoured to be in the area. A little over twelve hundred tanks and three hundred self propelled guns and artillery units have also moved to the border of Brysterion, holding their stance at the border. The Ziron Empire has also announced that the Martian colony has successfully been established, and a mission to Luna and Ceres were ready to launch next month.

[New Lucitania]

The Führer sat quietly in a bunker. He adjusted the large glasses on his nose as he read the plans below him. The Zironians were mobilizing, and now was time to gain a political edge in the GSC. With tensions rising, perhaps he could sway things in Lucitania's favour.

"Klaus! Report!" The Führer shouted loudly, his voice echoing throughout the large bunker.

"Our artillery units are deployed along the Norwegian and Zironian borders. We have no movements towards us, but it appears the Zironians have mobilized towards our allies, Zara Pola and Brysterion."

The Führer scratched at his nose.
"This could work in our favour Klaus. Telegram our Brysterion friends. If they want our troops defending their walls, they will follow our directive."

Klaus replied in a rather monotone tone.
"Yes mein Führer. And what about our troops?"

The Führer moved some small plastic figurines about a map of Europe.

"We've always desired to expand Klaus. We both know these damned Norwegians won't give up thief land through diplomacy. I want tank, artillery, and infantry divisions moved to the borders of France. Aircraft should be ready to take off at my word, and have ships prepared for naval bombardment. Make sure our gas canisters are ready to go as well. I want defendsive zones established around the nation in preparation for a possible counterattack from the WSC. Lastly, contact the GSC. Perhaps they'd like to lend us some troops."

"Yes mein Führer.

A mass military mobilization is underway. The government has commented on the mobilization, saying the mobilization is part of the 39th annual New Lucitanian war games. Global Security Confederation members have been invited to participate in the nation wide games. Nearby nations are to not be alarmed, but are urged to steer clear of free fire zones. Several air zones over Lucitania have also been declared no fly zones.

[Denathor]

There have been rumours coming out of Fort Optimus that the latest High Council meeting. They state that there was arguing between Dr. Anthony Roy and Field Marshal Zachary Baker over Denathor's flight to the moon. Dr. Roy thought it was of obvious importance for this mission with the Zironians to continue, but Field Marshal Baker evidently thought the funds would be better spent elsewhere. The Royal Steward managed to stop the arguing, and when the Council dissolved, he urged Roy and Baker to find a compromise for the next meeting.

As Jonathan sat in his office contemplating the results of the meeting when General Asgard walked in with two officers behind him. Between them in handcuffs was was a man in what was undoubtedly once a fine uniform, but was now not much more than rags. The Royal Steward raised an eyebrow.

"What is this?"

Asgard saluted.

"Sir, we found this man near the border of Belgium. He claims to be a high ranking Lucitainian soldier with important information regarding the state of our allies. Whatever that means. Point is, we managed to verify his identity, and we got a few details out of him. We thought you might want to hear the rest."

Jonathan nodded, and bidded the soldiers release him from his handcuffs. Once they had done so, he waved the soldiers away. They exited.

"So, what news from the Germans?"

"The Führer wants to expand. He wishes to invade your ally, The Norwegian Lands, with the help of the Global Security Confederation."

"Well, that's no problem. We could easily divert his attention elsewhere--

"No! He expects that! He is setting up defensive zones as we speak. You would walk right into a trap."

Jonathan frowns.

"Well, it seems he is using his mind more than his mouth these days. Very well, you have done us great service. My men will see that you are well protected from assassination. As for I, I need to make a phone call to the Norwegians."

Denathor has spent 4 Budget on defection. 11 Budget remaining.

[Brysterion]

Brysterion contacts new luctiana telling them they will cede control of the gsc to them. They will also send troops to the event in luctiana and to zara pola. The president also addresses the media.
"We strongly condemn the actions of the wsc and warn them to cease or desist as this is their second offence against us. In other more pleasant news we have safely made it to the moon! And a supply shuttle is on the way" The audience cheers as fireworks go off.
The rocket takes off later that day. it is plastered in adds and cheap product placement and a giant #pray for lochston logo.

[The Norwegian Lands]

Ulsrud returns to his office from making a press conference about the successful landing of the Mars mission to hear his phone ringing. He picks it up.

- "Hello?"

It's the Denathoran ambassador.

- "Mr. President, I just talked to my Lord the Steward. The Lucitanians are preparing an invasion. They're making their way to their side of the Buffer Zone as we speak!"

- Pres. Ulsrud: "They're never afraid to attempt an invasion. The WSC may be primarily a peacekeeping alliance, but when we have to go to war, watch out! They don't know what they're messing with. Tell your Steward that we need his help."

- The Ambassador: "Will do."

He hangs up and places another phone call, this time to Defense Minister Jacques Lacroix.

- "Good evening, General. I've just received word from the Denathoran amabassador that the GSC is preparing an invasion."

- "So your plan is?"

- "If they get through the fence, they'll have a lot to deal with. Get several men, several tanks and several CF-18s to the Buffer Zone. Also, get word to the rest of the Council. Make sure if the fascist scum and their GSC allies cross that fence, they pay dearly."

- "Yes, Mr. President."

TNL's full force is gathering in the Buffer Zone to prepare for a defense. The Buffer Zone is home to un-navigable terrain, heavy brush, bears and venomous snakes. The Denathorans, The Zironians, the Brikanians, the CoalMinerians and the Pitatuh-Irish have all been called for backup.

[Zara Pola]

With the sudden military mobilization around the world, the Zironians were near the Zara Polan waters, tightly hugging it. In the Capital City; Littorio, there is a risen debate. Zara Pola has moved its several armies up on the border, with the detatchment of the Zara Polan navy to warn the Zironians.

Inside the Royal Chiyoda Palace..

"Those Zironians up to no good again?" Scoffs Duce Anchovy as she grits her teeth, talking to her advisor. She never had liked the Zironians nor trusted them one bit. The Zironians and Zara Polans have had a long history of war, with the most notable war with the combined force of Ziron and Nerf Mellons, back in WWII.

Since then, they had been quiet until Duce Anchovy's sudden rise to power. "Send a naval detachment near the borders, not too many. We don't know what the Zironians have planned for us. Send several of the armies up north with artillery and mines. Constant drills and scouting are important." She said as she walks around the table gazing on it.

"They've got something that they are hiding and this is an offense to Zara Pola. We will see about what the Zironians are going to do with that fancy technology they have." She said as she viewed outside, as she smiled down at a certain classified project.

Brysterion moves several ships from their navy to the coast of zara pola to aid them. In a nationwide address the president speaks to the people.
"this action is not a offensive act but rather a defensive one, to protect us from the rapidly encroaching ziran empire, we are merely protecting our friends and allies. in other news our moon base is now up and running so that's pretty good"

[Denathor]

Denathor has announced that due to budget constraints, it is pulling out of its mission that the moon with The Norwegian Lands and The Ziron Empire. It stresses that this move is purely economical, and that all will turn out just as well as it would have, if not better.

Denathor moves its troops to help defend The Norwegian Lands from a possible invasion. They also set defences along their borders lest New Lucitania turn their gaze northwards.

[The Norwegian Lands]

On Mars, the TNL crew arrives at the portion of the planet that was set aside for them. Aerospace engineer Samuel Tyldum will stay behind at the craft and monitor the crew's body cameras. The footage will be sent back to Earth at the conclusion of the mission and used in a documentary to be aired on Norwegian Landish television at a later date.

Upon arrival, the astronauts cheer as Cdr. Magnus Ingvarsen, the leader of TNL's Mars Mission who consequently had been been promoted from Captain to Commander by the TNLSA and has already announced he is retiring from the TNLSA after his return to Earth, produced the moment of his career - the placing of the flag of TNL on Mars' surface.

[The Ziron Empire]

A sound of splashing waves is drowned out by chattering military voices. Officers, Admirals, and Captains of Zironian Naval Fleet Zeta stares at the monitors of the IZS Nikita. Zara Polan ships were moving towards them in international waters, and getting a little too close for comfort.

"This is international waters!" stammers Officer Trentak of the IZS Kamera, a guided missile Destroyer. They are violating our regional laws. I say we strike now!"

Admiral Hikaru Jones, commander of the Zeta Fleet stood calmly on the bridge.
"Fire a warning shot. Put it half a kilometre off their flagships starboard side."

The Officer nods and shouts to his men. The sound of a cannon cracks the ocean air, and a shell flies off into the distance, followed by a transmission to the Zara Polan Fleet.

"Attention Zara Pola Naval Fleet. This is Admiral Hikaru Jones of the IZS Nikita. A group of Zironian Nuclear Submarines is currently on route to your location. If you do not divert from your course immediately, I will unleash the entire payload of advanced long-range torpedoes currently locked on to your location. You have two minutes to confirm your compliance. Refusal to do so will result in your obliteration. And If you test me, you will fail."


Back in the Empire, Tu-95 Nuclear Bombers have taken off. Nearly 30 total aircraft make their way into the skies, their destination unclear and uncertain.

Hannibal sat quietly with his advisors. They shared looks of puzzled thoughts.
An advisor expressed his thoughts, adjusting his sleeves while he did.
"Emperor Hannibal. If I may. What is the purpose of this exercise."

Hannibal smiled a sly grin.
"Its simple Richard. We're going to figure out who our real allies are."

The Ziron Empire has launched pairs of bombers over the following airspaces:
Denathor, Brysterion, Zara Pola, East Korea, New Lucitania, and CoalMiner.

[Denathor]

in the Royal Steward's office, a man runs in to give his report.

"Sir, Zironian jets have been spotted in our airspace. We have no idea what they're doing."

Jonathan rubbed his forehead.

"I don't have time for this. Scramble some fighter jets to intercept them and guide them to our borders. If they don't comply, feel free to blast them out of the sky."

Denathoran jets move to intercept the Zironians.

[The Norwegian Lands]

Pres. Ulsrud sees the news and meets with his Defense Minister.

- Min. Lacroix: "What are they doing? I thought the Zironians and Denathorans were allies!"

- Pres. Ulsrud: "Both of them are WSC members and allied with us, but allied with one doesn't mean allied with all."

- Min. Lacroix: "Good point."

- Pres. Ulsrud: "The thing about the Zironians are they're a wild card. I had thought for a while that they were switching sides, and this might be my fears confirmed. As for the Denathorans, they're our oldest ally and an original signatory to the WSC treaty. It is our duty to defend them."

He orders CF-18s to Denathor to help in the defense efforts. 60 men and two tanks are also being dispatched. Pres. Ulsrud has also expelled several Zironian diplomats, but not their ambassador, and has warned Gen. Briggs that next step is expelling their ambassador, recalling his and closing the embassy.

[Brysterion]

Brysterions president has had enough. "I want you to send out every available plane to guide them out of our airspace stat! Try to contact them, yell them to immediately leave our airspace or state their intent, if not our ground based gun emplacements will be forced to open fire"
