February 1937
Day 12 of the Arizona Campaign
Our unit broke passed the Colorado river. The Arizonans tried to blow the bridge when they saw us coming, but our sappers took them out. Didn't change the fact that we lost a hundred men. They put up more of a resistance than we had expected, but a good amount of them surrendered when we took out their frontier defenses.
I hear that our forces in the north, from Nevada have pushed as far as the Hualapai Mountains. Meanwhile we have made it somewhere between Quartzite and Wenden.
Soon, we will be upon Phoenix and raise the Californian Flag.

Topic: Re: Military Alliance
To our honorable brothers and sisters across the continent,
With the crises that has passed of the Great American Schism, we too fear of the fates that have befallen our American family.
The events in Europe and those conspiring in continental America, we graciously accept the invitation to Boston for a multilateral conference.

"So, Mr. President, what do you think they'll have to offer up north?" the aide chirped.
"An alliance." answered the President. "But with that, we should have the Pacific under our lock."
"Seems so. I hear that the Arizonan Campaign goes well."
"Yes sir." he submitted. "Perhaps by the time we return to Sacramento, Arizona will be firmly in our grasp."
