Kennedy O'Loughlin

"It's fine, mate, glad you're not hurt." Kennedy said to Alex, smiling a little bit. After all, the whole incident with Casey was still fresh in his mind and he didn't want to take this new guy to the nurse's office. In fact, Kennedy was going to bring it up but decided not to at the last minute, if only because he didn't want to kill the mood. "Besides, it didn't look that bad, though I wouldn't have minded taking you to the nurse's office if you had to go. Still a little bit of time before class starts."

And then, a little bit of time later, Alex introduced himself, giving his name and an explanation for why he might've bumped into Kennedy. "That's a nice name." Kennedy simply said, mostly to make the guy feel a bit better but also to give him a small hint that he was interested. "Besides, it's my first day here too, just as long as you don't count me coming over in the Summer to try out for the gridiron team. But I don't wanna bore you with that." And then he looked down and noticed Alex's outstretched hand, which Kennedy shook in another attempt to make the person he was talking to feel a bit better about things. Ignoring Alex's second apology, on the grounds that he didn't really want to repeat himsef (by saying it wasn't a problem and that Alex shouldn't apologise), Kennedy asked "So do you know where you have to go? Or do you want me to lead the way?"

Ella Birkett
"It's a school. There's bound to be some idiocy" Ella replied with a slightly amused tone of voice, clearly knowing there would be some stupid unnecessary drama and all that. "That stuff does tend to exist on some level, even if not as much as the stereotypes you've seen might tell you they do" She continued, though it was clear that she expected some of it. "I just try to stay out of it all, though. No sense getting myself all caught up in it. I just stay on the sidelines with friends, and try to live life and avoid the drama" She shrugged her shoulders slightly.

Then, he asked her about where she lived outside of the school, and she smiled a little, despite some people maybe finding that an odd question to ask. Though it didn't seem too many people here did. "Not far, really. I live in Tacoma, which is just south of us. It isn't the most exciting city, really, and it has some problems, but it is my home so it holds a special place with me anyway. I still like Seattle more, though. Seattle can be fun" She smiled again, perfectly happy with telling him about that, and almost anything he wanted to know. She just wanted some casual, friendly conversation right now. And to be fair, she may have a little bit of a crush already, which was partly why she decided to talk to him on top of her other reasoning, but still mostly to just talk.

Theresa Richards

"Your ass was just out of shape." Theresa says, grinning as she closes her locker and leans on the door to face Grant. "Kent seemed incompetent. But, anyway... nah, I don't have anything going on over the weekend. I'd love to go to both the Kennedy and Murphy games. Being as though I don't have anything better to do, yeah I'll be there." Theresa sighed as she overheard the commotion occurring in the hallway, to which she watched Grant shake his head. "Welcome to high school, it's practically Darwinian survival-of-the-fittest out here." After glancing over her shoulder to get a glimpse of the chaos behind them, Theresa looked back toward Grant and flashed a smile. "Alright, well I should get going. Text me after!" Theresa reached out to pat Grant on the shoulder, and after a brief second had went off to her next class.

Zoe Lee

"Dude. First off, you started off with claiming that Communism has killed a massive number of people, and now you decide to change course in the middle of this discussion to say that there has never been Communism in the world? Are you practicing to become a politician, because that was a fast pivot from one belief to another. Secondly, put down your phone and stop using Wikipedia. Nobody is asking for a regurgitation of that crap. Thirdly, what makes you so certain that socialistic countries have this innate desire to become a consummate communistic society? Quite the presumption that such a thing must happen, if you were to ask m--"

Midway through her response, the bell had rung to alert students of the impending start to class. Zoe sighed, shaking her head, and looked back to Andrew.

"We're not finished. To be continued."

Zoe then walked away to head to her class.

As the three students Ezekiel, Skylar, and Evelyn left his Office after having a strange heart to heart conversation with him, with Evelyn also revealing that the student he met earlier, Aaron, had water dumped on him I think the hallways before they left.

So Simon sat down in his chair, still handling the aftermath of everything that had happened, he wondered just how horribly this was all going to end. He was going to get a lot of phone calls. Maybe wind up on the news, maybe even lose his job. All because he couldn't just let it go. He had to tell the students. He had to argue. Why? He could've done something normal like any you're person and not tell the student body. But he hasn't, and now he was here. And some student was clearly targeted by bullies. After everything that happened today.

He was interrupted from his thoughts as Autumn entered his Office. A sight that his always made him chear up. Before she can even say anything, Simon asked her "Do you think I have a complex or am I just incomepetant?" Autumn sighed as she rubbed her eyes. This wasn't the first time they had this conversation.

"When are you going to let go of what the psychologist said. It was years ago!" A long time ago Simon had asked a psychologist to look at what his worst personality traits could be in preparation for becoming a Principal. Everyone had warned him not to do it, but he did to be sure he wouldn't act like that.

The Pschyologist had said that Simon might have some sort of deep rooted attention complex that compelled a desire to be liked and loved. He was incredibly overbearing and pushy, and not subtlety would attempt to humbly brag about himself. He sometimes couldn't handle anything negative. And he was far too overconfident in his own abilities to reach out to kids.

Simon had taken his advice to heart, and then slowly forgot about it over the years as whenever something bad happened, Simon, who was usually ill-qualified to handle such incidents, would remember those words. Simon hasn't changed since then.

"I've never changed myself Autumn. I've far too confident in myself to reach out to the youth. And when I can't, I do something outlandish to get them to like me. Don't lie to make me feel better Autumn, this is how it's always been. I'm not... fit. To be part of this school. Maybe it would be better if I just quit or let myself be fired."

Autumn was watching Simon's speech as he admitted his mistakes. And at this point he wasn't going to let go of it, so she decided to wait until he was done to talk him out of it. But then he started saying he should let himself be fired, and at that point Autumn was done with watching him mope around.

"Snap out of it Simon!" She said, snapping her fingers in front of his face. "You can't do this every time something bad happens. Do you want to know the truth? I don't know if you have a complex or not. But the thing is, that doesn't matter. Kids today are just cyncical. And they don't truly trust you. They always think you're hiding something, and in this case, they think you're out to prove yourself and think you're being incompetent with how you handled everything that happens today. Like Casey, who's fine by the way, but you didn't ask because by you're too busy feeling sorry for yourself!"

Autumn's words had hurt with their truthfulness. She didn't mean any of it in a way to truly hurt him, of course, but it was all necessary for him. And he could only bury his face in shame as he realized he forgot to ask about Casey.

"Look Simon, you're not incompetent. You're just positive. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's bad. If you want my advice, just... don't be so overbearing. Don't push how cool and accepting you are of everyone. Let the reins a little loose. Just let Casey go for the day, maybe talk to her tomorrow. And then you'll deal with the School Board. Just handle them and accept everything that's happened, and don't try to shift it. Accept the consequences. And if you lose your job, so be it. If you don't, then we're still here with these crazy students. And you'll be on the front lines with something bad happens again. Because something bad will happen again. And you need to be prepared to handle it."

As Autumn finished her speech, they just stood in the silence as Simon accepted the words, vowing to stop being such an overbearing jackass with an attention complex. He couldn't be that if he intended to keep his job as a Principal. Maybe some people were going to think he was incompetent. And that was a good thing. Criticism can be a good thing. And he wouldn't try to talk them out of it. No, he was going to prove he was a normal, sane person who was qualified to be a Principal.

So Simon got up and hugged Autumn, who only smiled as Simon thanked her. "I really needed that Autumn. Sometimes harsh criticism is the best thing a person can get."

And so the couple shared some more sappy talks where they said how much they loved each other, making the nearby Matthew Horowitz make mocking gag noises as he heard every detail.

And so Autumn left the office as Simon realize maybe it wasn't such a bad day after all. And he smiled as he continued answered emails, until he noticed one was from a School Board member. But Simon pushed down his fears and answered. He was not going down without a fight.

Lyanna Chambers Catch Up Post
Today was the first day of the year, and Lyanna's first day at this school in general. She was fairly excited, as it was a start of a new adventure in her life, with being at a boarding school instead of a public school and away from her parents. Though, if her parents ever needed to visit, and if she ever needed to visit her parents, they weren't particularly far away. Which was good, she had to admit. It wasn't like she was on bad terms with her parents and was glad to be away from them, it was just that she wanted to do this for her own personal reasons. She planned to keep in touch with her parents regularly, and they could come and visit her as much as they wanted to. Nonetheless, she and her parents agreed it might be good for her to go to a boarding school, just for the experience. She didn't know how her known issues, like ADHD, and behavioral issues would go with little parental knowledge, though...That might end up going poorly. She was self-aware of her issues, but that didn't really mean you could prevent yourself from behaving that way. And personality wise she was just strange in general at times. But nonetheless, they thought it might be good for her to go to a boarding school, even though this boarding school was also connected to a public school, so it wasn't like it was much smaller than her past school or anything.

Eventually, her and her parents made it to school itself, and she stepped out of the car and got her things out from within it. It was a little too much for her to carry in by herself, though, so her parents had helped her bring her things to her room. In there, they simply put it all on her bed for now, and she would sort through it later. And then, they gave their departure, though it didn't seem to be much of a sad one as she was still close enough to them that they would likely see each other regularly, so it was more like just an extended goodbye on a normal school day. Like as if your kid went to school for a week instead of for the day. Sure, there was still sadness from her parents of not being able to see her daily and all the time, and they were nervous about how she would behave without parental guidance around all the time, but nonetheless, they were also excited for her, and she did tell them that she would do her best to tell them what she could. At least what she could remember, and wasn't too terribly embarrassing. Because nobody really truly told their parents everything, even if they said that they did. There was almost always something you hid...

Most of her day wasn't particularly very eventful, as she was settling in and idly talking to a few people here and there. Nothing really particularly happened to take note of, just a normal start day being a new person with no friends here. She had some friends from her previous school, but hadn't made any here yet, for obvious reasons. She didn't particularly try hard, either, focusing mostly on settling in over friendships yet.

And then it came time for the Assembly, which she was rather looking forward to actually, as that was the gathering of everyone in one place for the big starter event of a school, and they were almost always interesting in some way or other. She also didn't particularly know about the weird clique segregation in this school, and just sat down somewhere at random to watch the Assembly, ending up by nobody in particular, except probably just some random unimportant people. If she knew about the segregation, she probably wouldn't really care, either, in the sense of where she sat. Though she did tend to avoid the big groups surrounded by a bunch of clearly sports related people, and such like that. Nonetheless, she probably wouldn't be hugely fan of the segregation thing if she did in fact know about it yet. She had also missed anything about the man threatening the school, but she would learn all about it rather soon...

Shortly after the Principal arrived and started up his speech, he went straight into about why things were apparently delayed, which she was also not aware of as she had kind of lost track of time anyway. He had asked them to raise their hands if they knew about the event, and since she obviously did not, she didn't raise her hands and kept them down, looking rather confused. It didn't take much time for an explanation to be given, of course, and it was quite the...interesting one. Apparently right out the gate, a student had gone to threatening to burn down the school and a myriad of other bizarre shit. On day one. She knew she had some issues, but she didn't get herself arrested on day one and apparently threaten to burn down the damn school. She wasn't specifically sure what to think about that, and this school, if there was a student that was that mentally unstable out the gate, but as time went on in the speech, she would come to understand further.

In fact, she learned about his reasoning shortly after, as he went on about his life story and why he was principal and the reasons for the way he behaves. Apparently, against the better wishes of the board, he was more willing and accepting to take in students with issues. Maybe that was partly why he had taken her in, even though it was on official record that she had ADHD and behavioral issues. Though her issues over who apparently threatened the school is a bit different, but she couldn't help but appreciate that. That he was willing to give anyone a chance, no matter what issues they had. Be it severe depression that tampered with their ability to learn, or just acting inappropriately in general by nature, it was nice to know that their Principal saw potential in all of them for who they are, and that they could work out there "Mental illnesses" into some form of coping level. Other principals didn't seem particularly caring, and were a lot more serious and not very understanding. Like a lot of adults, really. Adults loved to pretend that they understood everything, when they really didn't. And schools tended to be a prime example of that. She currently had high hopes that this school would not in fact be like that, based off of the principals speech so far, though of course not everybody in the school would be exactly like him...She agreed that some mental illnesses could be a true danger, too, though she didn't consider hers a part of that, as hers was generally pretty harmless. Well, behavior issues might be a problem for others, but eh. Overall, she thought hers weren't too bad in that regard, but that didn't mean she wouldn't likely discuss it...potentially through doing something stupid and being taken to the office.

As he mentioned the segregation of the school into cliques, she then realized that he was right. She hadn't payed it much attention at first, but now that he mentioned it, it really did seem like it. She could agree that maybe that should change, but at the same time, it wasn't that big of a deal to her. Though it was kind of shitty for people to close themselves in with their own types, and not just be friends with each other no matter where your standing was, and she had the distinct feeling there was a problem with that in this school since it was pointed out. Though she figured there were a lot of people who did in fact just go anywhere, too. Didn't mean there wasn't an obvious problem. He also mentioned trying to stop bullying and for people to just not bully in general, but she had the distinct feeling that if you were a bully, that likely immediately fell on deaf ears, and in certainly did. But it was commendable nonetheless, and hopefully that meant they had a pretty firm policy against bullying at this school compared to others. And that was better than nothing, and better then a lot of school which were very poor in that regard and did not put enough effort into stopping bullying from happening in their schools. Or just outright ignored it and pretended like it wasn't happening. This was certainly a step up. And for a lot of these things, she had found herself clapping, rather enthusiastically, with some of the others to applaud him for at least the words of attempted effort.

Once all of that was done, what they all came here for had finally begun, which was the Assembly, and first off, the cheerleader routine. Everything seemed to be going well now, and things seemed to be perfectly fine, but somewhere near the end of the routine, a girl had collapsed, sending the Assembly into more chaos. She didn't exactly know what was going on or what happened, but she didn't move as she felt like she'd just get in the way, and it seemed like the girl was okay, just had some weird episode. Either way, something else on the first day of this school apparently, and she couldn't imagine how embarrassing it must be to be that girl and have that happen to you on your first routine. After that situation, though, the rest of everything seemed to go without a hitch, to probably everybody's relief.

Eventually, the Assembly ended, and she got up and left to head off to the first class of the day. She still had no friends, which wasn't really a shock of course, so she headed there alone. This wasn't entirely a class that interested her, but it may have interested her more than some subjects. Nonetheless, she headed there, and that was that.

This was certainly going to be an interesting year from what she gathered so far.

Time Skip - High School Football Game
Blake Holsey High Seawolves vs Archbishop Murray High Wildcats
David Swinson Maynard Memorial Stadium - Home of the Blake Holsey Seawolves
7:00 pm - Friday, September 8th, 2017
Seattle, King County, Washington, United States

The shining sun that was doing its rounds for most of the day was now setting over downtown Seattle, Puget Sound and now the the state of Washington, and although the school week for some of the numerous public schools in the state is now over and their students go off to do what kids do on the weekend, for the high schools in the state, there is one last school event that will define the week for the next few months and nearly everyone is excited for it. That specific school event that defines the week is the high school football game, and has been America’s favourite game dating back to the early 1900s, although it shares that status with baseball and both sports tend to be split between each other, but they love them both the same like their own kids and house. The weather during the day was nice, and it was still a clear, crisp day when the sun started to set over Seattle and Friday Night Football started up in earnest. Perfect conditions for American Football.

The students that attended Blake Holsey High School, plus the students of Archbishop Murray High School, a Catholic private school in nearby Everett, had their first week of first semester high school pass by quickly, as they settled into the routine that was classes, lunch times, social meet ups and homework that kept shifting into different subject matters every time. The teachers of both school taught their classes like they were trained to, the remaining staff continued on with their training continued for the football teams of BHHS and AMHS, the cheer squads for both schools continued to practice their cheers and the coaching staff were reviewing plays, game tactics and old game tapes of the opposing teams, trying to win a mental battle that was hundreds of miles apart. The anticipation in both schools grew as the clock ticked down to the Thursday and Friday Night games, with the football teams struggling to keep their lock in class and the students waiting around for some extra bit of news. And for Blake Holsey High School, their season started yesterday, on Thursday, September 7th when they played the Kennedy Catholic Lancers on the latter teams home turf in Burien. Although the Seawolves played good against the Lancers on the field and NFL experienced skills being shown off by players on both sides, they lost narrowly by a few points. Archbishop Murray High School did much better however, crushing the poor Rainier Beach Vikings by over double digits in points, and is to be considered one of the most feared football teams in the Washington Division 4A football, if not the entire state. Most people intended for AMHS to cruise easily through their group and reach state, if not the championship. This game will be very different to expectations however.

The stadium that both teams were going to play in, named after one of the main founders of the city of Seattle during the mid 19th century, is one of the biggest football stadiums in the state of Washington, and it is one of the main sporting prides for Blake Holsey High School due to their highly successful football program, although they recently had been struggling for the last few seasons due to player hiccups, bad plays and just general bad luck throughout the last two regular seasons. It has a 18,000 person capacity (with the home side being naturally bigger than the opposition side with two stands stacked together), a press box and modern resources, a freshly trimmed and green football field labeled with school colours and symbols and a symbol of the prevalence of football in Washington state and in Blake Holsey High School itself. Although it was a big stadium, it was still filling up rather nicely with both fans of the Blake Holsey Seawolves on the home side of the stadium (where the press box is) and the opposing fans of the Archbishop Murray Wildcats, which were basically bussed down all the way from Everett to attend this game to support their team, and their side of the stadium was dressed in Wildcat Red Pride, with banners supporting their team and all those details. Unsurprisingly, that same feeling was replicated on the homeside of the stadium as well, with the stands dressed in Seawolf Blue Spirit, with banners and homemade spirit signs plastered everywhere. Fans on both sides of the stadium were also wearing their school spirit gear, with the obvious colours being red for Archbishop Murray and blue for Blake Holsey.

As the fan anticipation began to heat up for the football game ahead, the coaches starting to plan their game strategies, the players warming up in the locker rooms in the stadiums and the sideline cheerleaders & marching band beginning to receive their pre game marching orders, more fans started to arrive at the football stadium.......

Peter Kowalski and Emilia Stedham collab post

Postby Elejamie » Fri Aug 11, 2017 9:34 am

After school on Monday 4th September, 2017

Emilia, after her first class of the school year, and oddly the last class of the school day due to the schedule switch, was about to head back to her dorm room when she realised that she needed to get something from her Chevy Camaro. And, once she was out of Mr. Bryant's chemistry class, she immediately headed back the car park to find her Camaro that she parked earlier in the day. It shouldn't have been too hard to find, since it was a pretty distinctive colour in the first place. As she reached the car though, she found a note that was tucked into one of the windshield wipers of her car, and being perplexed at this recent turn of events, grabbed the note after reaching over a bit and opened it, starting to read it.

As she read the note, she realised that the driver of the old Dodge Shadow did in fact notice the dent on the car door that she made when she opened the door too fast when she first arrived at school, and frankly, wanted to meet with her to discuss insurance information. But then she remembered, her dad never complete any insurance for her Chevy Camaro for her sweet sixteenth birthday, and he had forgotten when he registered the car in Washington. This was a big problem to her, and was liable enough for her to get her car taken away from her if the guy found out and called the Seattle Police Department on her. She couldn't let that happen. Ever. So she devised something in her head as she read the note again.

Over in the library, Peter was sitting down at a table, waiting for the owner of the Chevy Camaro to arrive so they could exchange insurance information. However, despite his calm outward appearance, inside Peter was very nervous. He hated having to confront people and he wasn't sure if the owner would be a reasonable person who'd help him out. As he read through all the insurance stuff he had fished out of his car, he figured that he might as well listen to some music to calm his nerves. Taking out his iPod, he plugged his earphones in and picked a random song, which turned out to be by Run the Jewels, one of his favourite rap groups. Every so often he looked up from his letters and logbook, checking if the owner has arrived yet and, if they haven't, up at the clock on the wall, wondering what's keeping them.

After reading the note, forming a plan in her head and trying to figure out who the hell wanted to meet with him, she stuffed the note in her sports bag as she decided to ditch grabbing the something from the car for the moment, and turned around and headed straight back to the school to head to the library, but not picking up some reinforcements.

As she walked the hallways that lead to the library, which were still packed with students for some discernible reason, out of the corner of her eye, she spotted a group of jocks, wearing their Blake Holsey High letterman jackets that identified them out of the regular students, that were hanging out by one of the drink fountains, and they were joking about something else, something to do with the recent NBA and NHL moves and expansions to Seattle. "This group will do fine. They look tough enough." Emilia thought to herself as she came close to them and caught their attention by snapping her finger until the main leader, a guy with sandy blonde hair, backed away from the group and started talking to Emilia.

"Hey, Cap. What can I do for ya?" The sandy jock asked Emilia as he attempted to converse with her, clearly sort of giddy that he was talking to the queen bee. Emilia just sort of ignored it as she continued on.

"I like to do me a favour. If you do, good things will happen." Emilia answered back, with the oblivious jock clearly not noticing that she was charming him right from the gate. "Can you enter the library and keep an eye on a kid with a..." Emilia grabbed the note from her bag, which looked a bit crumpled now as she stuffed it in not really straight, and handed it to the jock. "... a beige field jacket? He left this note on my car and frankly, he doesn't seem to be the face to face type. Can you do that? I can make it worth your while." Emilia asked, charming him yet again. As expected, the kid agreed, and immediately told the rest of his group was going on, and after a simple explanation, they left for the library.

As Peter waited for the meeting to begin, he would have spotted the jocks entering the library with their bags and letterman jackets, and curiously, they chose a table that, although a few tables away from Peter's table, it was still close enough for them to hear what was going on.

As Peter waited, still listening to his song and checking everything to see if it was all there, he noticed that a few jocks were coming in. They were talking about sports, namely the new teams coming into Seattle. As much as Peter wanted to chip in, he noticed a couple of things about them. The first was, of course, why they were sitting not that far from him. Was this a ploy by the Chevy owner so that nothing would happen? He thought about it before scrapping it; after all, it wouldn't really make that much sense. But as he observed them for a couple of seconds longer, he realised that they weren't really reading anything or doing homework, they were just sitting there talking. "OK, Peter, don't stare." Peter thought to himself, looking back down at his table. "They'd prolly know something's up."

Then, after a few minutes of waiting and the jocks just talking about sports and other things, Emilia arrives at the library, but she prevented herself from entering until she manages to smooth out a few details with her appearance. She cleaned up her ponytail and hair, she smoothed out her crisp BHHS cheerleader uniform, she righted her school bag on her back and gym bag besides her, and finally, she straightened her posture, making sure she was not slacking. She was ready.

Then she entered the library in that same, confident, queen bee stance, her white sports shoes clanking on the floor of the library as she looked out for the kid with the beige field jacket...

After one last check to see if everything was all there and correct, followed by a quick look at the clock to check the time, Peter glanced up and saw the owner of the car arrive. It turned out to be Emilia, one of the cheerleaders. And already Peter was starting to regret the whole thing, the only thing coming to mind being "Oh God, it's a cheerleader. This is going to suck." Granted he was aware that there could be some nice cheerleaders but he didn't really get that from Emilia. He didn't know what she was like, he didn't know what she had in mind for the whole thing and, worse, he didn't know her name. Realising the situation, but still having a feeling that things might not go too badly, he sighed quietly and looked back down at the paperwork, trying to hide his nervousness, waiting for her to sit down and kick things off.

Emilia, after looking around the library for a few moments, spotted Peter who was wearing the beige field jacket, as it was stated in the note asking her to meet him at the library. He looked nervous as she examined and observed him, trying to see if he had any mannerisms. "This is the kid that asked me to meet him?" Emilia darkly thought to herself as she looked at him from a distance, like a predator observing its prey in the wild. "This kid is easy. He should back down. Whatever he is offering."

As he still waited for Emilia to arrive, Peter tried to think of what he can do. After all, one wrong move and/or action would cause the whole thing to end badly, something he didn't want. Which meant that he had to avoid anything that could be seen as sarcasm, being facetious or otherwise his normal self. It was going to be hard, especially if she ended up using figures of speech. Not to mention that the whole "lack of eye contact" thing would probably be a massive problem for the two of them, although he was hoping that she'd understand that he finds it hard. He took a deep breath to calm his nerves, finalised a rough schedule of what he could do and waited for her to break the ice and get things started.

Emilia then moved quickly, managing to close the distance between her and the desk by walking faster than she would have normally liked, but still in that confident, self assured queen bee stance and pose that defined her. She then put her bags on the floor next to the desk and sat down confidently, trying to make eye contact and moving her pose up. She was now putting her plan into motion, to get this kid to drop the issue altogether, using her... let's say charm and flirting skills. She was not going to let this kid rat her out to the police to take her car away just because of forgetfulness. Not on her watch.

Relieved that she finally sat down, Peter paused his song and took out his earphones just so he could hear her clearly. Figuring that the insurance company would probably want to know if any insurance was exchanged, he thought that it might be a good idea to record the conversation; he wasn't sure why, especially since he wasn't sure if this was the correct procedure in the first place, but he decided to stick with it. Keeping the same pose, slouching a little bit and looking down a bit, he disconnected his earphones from the iPod and put it all in his jacket pocket, so he could get them out later. However, unbeknownst to her, he took out his phone from his trouser pocket, went into the voice recording app and pressed the record button, doing all of it under the table and holding the phone at an angle so she won't realise what's going on. Once he did that and after he put his phone away, he slowly moved his bag from under the table, sliding it underneath his chair with his feet, partially to give her a bit more leg room but also because he didn't want her to go through it, even though there wasn't anything of particular interest to her in it. Just books and other assorted stuff. He still remained quiet, waiting for Emilia to speak first since, otherwise, he'd end up as this weird stammering mess which would probably cause her to run off.

After a few, long, aching moments of dead silence, with Emilia staring at him with a glint of annoyance in her eyes, she finally said something. "So..." Emilia said, putting her first part of her elaborate plan into action. "What did you want to talk about, honey? You know people have other plans, you know..." Emilia said, with some teasing and charm coming out of her voice.

As she was speaking, Peter was thinking to himself, his thoughts trying to calm down the body they were in. "OK, Peter, you've got this. Don't be afraid, she might be a reasonable person. All you have to do is keep calm, speak normally and just explain anything she doesn't understand as simply as you can. Don't do anything stupid. It doesn't help being quiet. Just say something."

"Something." Peter said, slightly quieter than normal.

"Real smooth, Peter." His thoughts snapped back.

Peter then cleared his throat and looked up, still not making eye contact. He then spoke again in his usual volume. "Sorry about that. I erm... Er... I asked you to come here because you kinda dented my car door. It was an accident, don't worry, I'm not mad. But we still need to exchange insurance information. Don't worry, it shouldn't be too long." As he spoke, he moved his hands around a little bit; a habit of his, usually done when his hands were empty (for obvious reasons) but he was still hoping that she wouldn't be distracted by it.

Emilia looked at Peter that was across from him and he looked a bit of a lost one. He was nervous, he looked like he was a bit sick, and frankly, not used to it. Emilia examined him even more and the nervousness came out like a sore thumb. That gave her an option.

"I mean, it isn't a big deal, you know honey." Emilia stated, her charm and flirting starting to come out. "You should really not worry about the whole insurance thing. Small fish in a big pond, and frankly, you probably have other matters to attend to."

"I kind of have to." Peter replied, before going into why. "I don't know about here in the USA but it's kind of the law back home. You have to exchange insurance after accidents and I think that includes fender benders. Even if this is just a door and I can't think of a good way to tie it in. I mean, I wasn't there when you dented it so I don't know if this is the right way to do it and if I shouldn't just call my insurer right away but I just want to do this just to make sure. Besides, what I've got planned can wait." He paused briefly before continuing. "If all of that makes sense to you."

"Back home? You are not from here?" Emilia inquired further, leaning her head slightly to the left as she continued her charm offensive hard, trying to lure him in with her eyes and body that she had under her cheerleader uniform. "You know, if you are from up north, then you better tell me about it..."

"Yes, I'm from Canada." Peter said, resisting Emilia's charms without realising it. "Toronto, if you want a city. It's not the capital, which is Ottawa, but they're both in the same province, which is like our version of your states." He paused briefly, wondering what he was going on about and how it relates to why he wanted to see her. He then spoke again, in an attempt to get back on topic. "But I don't see how me being Canadian has anything to do with insurance."

"It is a small issue. Nothing significant." Emilia replied, with now a bit of seduction intertwined with her charms. "You know, you should look at people more often..." Emilia said, starting to flirt with him. "You have nice eyes... nice, soft eyes..."

Already Peter was starting to get unsettled. Was she trying to flirt with him? And, if she was, was it an attempt to get him to drop the whole thing? Or was there a more darker reason? "Thanks..." Peter said uncomfortably, moving back in his seat a little bit. "But er... I er... I-I can't do eye contact. I find it hard. I mean, I can do it once I get to know people or if I've known them for a while. But not now." In another attempt to rerail the subject, he made himself a bit more comfortable and carried on. "But-But can we please get back to this? I don't want to keep you from doing whatever you had planned."

Emilia, despite him looking slightly unsettled, did not stop her charm offensive at all, in fact she increased it. Hard.
"Also, your accent sounds wonderful too." Emilia flirted with him, adding more seduction to her already charming voice. "Is it French?"

Peter realised that he needed to take some form of control. Despite him asking politely, she continued to ignore the whole thing and flirt with him. Quietly taking a deep breath to calm his nerves, he spoke again. "Half French Canadian." He replied, his monotone becoming blunt as he was starting to get annoyed by her dodging the whole issue. "But I still don't see what my accent has to do with insurance. So can we please get back onto that subject?"

"But it is still a small issue? I mean, it is not like it will wreck the car or anything." Emilia continued, charm and seduction package included of course, as per the standard nature of her talk when in Queen Bee. "You probably should relax it, honey. The stress probably isn't good for your health."

"It is a small issue, yes, but it still has to be done. Because I prolly need to pay to get the door fixed, painted and all that stuff and the insurance people would probably want to know why and what's going on." Peter briefly and silently glanced over at her face, partially because the voice was familiar and partially for some sort of effect, before continuing. "I'd recommend doing the same on your end."

"You know, your leader is a hot hunk..." Emilia said, flirting with him harder, although in her mind something was wrong. "Also, that jacket must be nice on you too..." Emilia also started playing footsie with his legs under the table, touching his legs with her white sport shoed feet.

"C'est quoi cet osti de marde là?*" Peter thought to himself, getting even more annoyed with her antics. "What is she doing? Why isn't she being helpful?" He sighed and carried on speaking. "Yes, Justin Trudeau is a dreamboat made of glitter and his smile brings kittens back to life." He said, with a bitter sarcastic monotone to his voice. "And..." He then felt something rubbing against his leg. It turned out that Emilia was playing footsie with him under the table. As he didn't like being touched but, at the same time he didn't want to kick her leg away as he would normally do, he got up, picked his chair up and put it down a little bit further back. After sitting back down and moving his bag back under it, he continued in the same tone of voice as earlier. "And I got this for a few bucks at a Goodwill. Can we please... get back... to the subject?"

"What's the matter?" Emilia said, trying to charm him once again. but something is telling her that something is not right. Usually by now, the guy has cracked already. "Why are so focused on this one subject?"

"I just said." Peter replied, calming down a little bit. After all, being angry won't help anyone, it would drive her off and send her jock boyfriend after him. "Because, technically, you have to exchange insurance after an accident. That's the law. It's the law in Canada and I think it's the law here in Washington state. In fact, I should ask you a question. Why are you going off on so many tangents? I mean this-this shouldn't be that hard, just exchange information, maybe call insurance people and that might be it. It's like you... don't.. have..." Peter said slowly as it dawned on him. Emilia was uninsured and was trying to throw him off the trail, either because she was afraid he would squeal or because she thought he would rub it in his face. "Ah." Peter then sighed and looked down at the ground, his whole plan in tatters, trying to come up with a new plan that would save the both of them. He looked back up at her, still not making eye contact, and asked her another question. "You don't have insurance now, don't you?"

And for the first time during this entire conversation, Emilia went silent. She still kept up her pose and facial stare, but in her mind she realised that he didn't fall into any of her charms, flirting or charisma at all. He managed to dodge them all without him even realising it.

Peter noticed that Emilia was silent. No attempts at flirting with him, no attempts to derail the conversation, just a repeat of the pure, uncomfortable silence they had at the start of the meeting. He had a feeling that he had uncovered the reason why she was flirting and changing the subject throughout but he wasn't exactly 100% sure. So, just to clarify if that was her plan all along, he asked the question again: "Do you have insurance? Yes or no."

Trying to think quickly to clear this mess, Emilia still went onto her charm offensive, hoping to break, or lead him off astray enough that he would drop the topic entirely. He couldn't let this kid, especially the one right in front of her, call the cops to get her car taken away, especially considering she was Queen Bee. No one out smarted the queen bee. And she meant no one.

"You sure about that, honey?" Emilia stated, shifting her body so that he may get enticed by her body instead. "You cannot exactly guess someone by just talk."

"No but I can hazard a guess by what you were talking about." Peter replied as he got ready to counter her argument. However, despite her posturing, he avoided staring at her body, not necessarily because he thought it was a trap but rather because he thought it would've been rude to stare, especially since it probably would've made things worse for the both of them. "First up, you tried to downplay the whole thing, make it seem like a boo-boo instead of a severing. And I guess it is but it's still something that needed to be treated. Secondly, whenever I asked you or requested that we get back onto topic, you went in a different direction by going on about me or Prime Minister Trudeau - well, Trudeau Junior, since his dad was PM a long time ago - or my country. And-And-And-And finally, there was the whole flirting thing. I mean, thanks, if this was a different situation I'd appreciate it but not now. Time and a place, y'know."

Starting to feel a little bit more confident, he had another quick look at her face. Partially to make sure if he was right the first time and partially because he wanted to see the expression on her face. After a second and a half of looking, confirming that she was either a familiar face or at the very least a spot-on doppelganger, he turned his gaze away, cleared his throat and asked again. "And I'm sorry to ask a third time but I have to do it: Do you have insurance? Please tell me the truth and I promise I won't get mad."

"This isn't working." Emilia thought to herself as Peter quickly countered her argument and orchestrated his own argumentative counter attack. Clearly he was onto her about the insurance, but she isn't going to reveal that to him any time soon. Not in the slightest. "I got a better idea. Let's try this."

Emilia then changed up her strategy, and started to go on the offensive about who she really was, and how much he was about to screw up in the process. "You know, you are going to make a mistake by continuing." Emilia stated, with her voice trying the hardest it can get to make him drop it. "Maybe it is easier, to just, drop it?"

Peter let out an exasperated sigh. Although she did make a good point, especially since he wasn't really the kind to confront people, he was still annoyed by her flirting, deflection and anything else she did to get him to change the subject. Not to mention that he was a bit worried about what would happen if he didn't let them know what had happened. "I could," He replied. "But the thing is that it might be a bigger mistake to not report it, to not let the insurance people know. And I don't really want to risk it. So consider this the lesser of two mistakes. I-If that makes sense."

"But dropping it will make it go away." Emilia softly fired back, twirling her cheer ponytail with her left hand while doing so. "Can't you see the benefit?"

There was no doubt in his mind. She had no insurance. At all. Slightly annoyed that she didn't tell him at the beginning, especially since it would save them from whatever fresh hell was going to happen, he moved a little bit closer to the table, although not too close just in case she plays footsie with him again. And, as he was moving, she mentioned that there was apparently a "benefit" to him dropping the whole thing, which raised alarm bells in his head. Not letting her trick or convince him to drop the whole deal, he sceptically replied "What benefit?"

"Benefit is..." Emilia slowly said, with charm in her voice as she slowly moved forward with her plan to get him to drop the matter. She needed him to drop it, otherwise he wouldn't know what will hit him. "I don't need to call some people..." she paused for a moment, "...and you can go back to before this."

Peter was slightly thrown off when she mentioned that she won't need to call some people; enough to get him to pause for a think but not enough to get him to drop it. After all, what did she mean by it? Was it a thinly-veiled threat? Or did she actually have people she could phone up to help her with insurance? Whatever the reason was, Peter kept on pressing. "What sort of people do you mean, exactly?" He asked, leaning forward a little. "Because we can just metaphorically hop on one of the computers and look up some insurers, if that's what you meant."

"Other people, honey." Emilia quickly replied, who is trying to take control of the situation fast and quickly in her favour, in order to prevent him from backing her into a corner. "My girls... a lot of guys... maybe some acquaintances of mine..."

"If you have that many accomplices, then surely they'd have helped you get some insurance." Peter fired back, trying to get a definite answer from her. "I mean, I don't know if they're those sorta friends. The ones that leave you when marde's going down. I mean the proper friends. Just-Just explain to them what the situation is and they'd prolly help you get insured. Maybe they might know a lot about it, which could help you out." Towards the end, he tried to say it as compassionately as he could while still retaining his monotone, mostly just so he doesn't end up scaring her off, but he wasn't sure if that was working.

"They will do... other ways of convincing." Emilia answered, now slowly putting on the queen bee persona she put on for the school. "It will not be pretty, if you get what I am talking about."

Peter buried his head in his hands and mumbled a few obscenities in Quebecois. After all, she wasn't making his "no sarcasm" promise he made to himself easy, especially with the thinly-veiled threats and ego she was starting to show. And, after resisting the urge to make snarky comments, he finally made one. "So they're going to follow me around by saying 'Come on!' and 'Drop it!' in loud annoying voices until I agree?" He sarcastically asked as he lifted his head out of his hands.

"Other methods." Emilia answered. "It is easy for them to find out, after all. Small school."

"Here's the best method of all." Peter replied, not really wanting her to explain what methods she had in stock. "Why don't you get some insurance? I mean, it shouldn't be that hard, just find the best deal, do what they need you to do and that's it. Again, if you've got any friends or family that know how to do it, ask them if they can help you out."

"You don't know that I may not have the thing you are saying that I do not have." Emilia replied, who is now playing word games, plus the charms. "You might be off the mark and assuming."

"Someone with insurance would've actually helped me." Peter quickly and sarcastically replied, starting to get even more fed up with what she was doing.

"You can make this easier on yourself, honey. No need for all intense thinking." Emilia replied, trying again harder to make him drop the topic so he can just go back to his life as usual. "This could end..." She paused for a few long moments before continuing on. "Badly, let's say that."

Peter pinched the bridge of his nose, as if he was doing his best Stan Marsh impersonation. This was getting more out of hand than it should be and taking a lot longer than it would've been if she had just told him from the beginning. Moving his hand off of his face, he carried on speaking. "And it would end even more badly if I don't report this whole incident to my insurer. Not this meeting, just the whole door thing. Besides, if you are actually uninsured and the police stop you 'cause you were driving too fast or whatever, I don't think they'd be thrilled by you flirting with them to get out of it. So please, let's drop the threats and get back to the subject."

"You don't know what you are getting into, honey. I suggest you drop it." Emilia said more forcefully. "Now."

"And I suggest you learn your manners." Peter replied, his sharp monotone making a return. After all, who was she to tell him what to do? She was just a cheerleader and, as far as he knew and cared, had no proper authority at the school. Granted, he was still slightly scared of what might happen next but he stood his ground, refusing to let her intimidate him. He didn't want to show fear in the face of opposition and, even if it means fighting a jock or two, he wants her to come clean and admit it so they can both move on.

"For god's sake. What is wrong with him?" Emilia thought to herself as she continued to intensely stare at the boy right across from her. She was getting nowhere with this thing and line of talk, as he started to become monotone, snarky and sarcastic, and was brushing her lines right past her entirely. This cannot continue. Especially to the queen bee of Blake Holsey High School.

"You trying to be smart with me, honey?" Emilia replied, half charming and half queen bee-like as she countered him again. "Being smart won't get far. Especially who you are talking to if you realised."

"Vlad Tepes?" Peter sarcastically replied, still speaking in the sharp monotone from earlier. After all, he never really liked it when people did that whole "Do you know who you're talking to?" thing, especially if the person they're speaking to hasn't actually heard of the first person. As far as he knew or cared, Emilia was just another cheerleader. An egotistical one that needed to be brought down a peg, but still a plain old cheerleader nonetheless.

"You are way off course, buddy." Emilia replied, clearly getting miffed at the whole monotone thing he was doing. "Way off course."

"And I'm not your buddy, guy." Peter fired back. Granted it was a reference to a show he stopped watching years ago and he wasn't sure if she'd get it either but he still went through with it. After all, he can't let her win. Not when she's acting like this.

"You think you are funny? You are not helping, honey." Emilia fired back. Although she did not show it, she was pretty miffed at his sarcasm.

"Well..." Peter said slowly, trying to come up with the best way to counter what she said.. "Seeing as you flirted with me and tried changing the subject to hide the fact that you had no insurance, the couple of subtle threats you made when I found out that you had no insurance and your general behaviour throughout this whole thing..." Peter then paused briefly, in an attempt to make his next sentence have more of an effect, before continuing. "I don't think you're one to talk about helping. Honey." Peter leant forward a little bit, saying that last word in a mocking voice. After all, she had brought this onto herself and, since things are definitely not going to end well, he saw no reason to hold back, no reason to pull any punches. He then leaned back in his seat, waiting for Emilia to come back with a response to what he said.

"Goddamnit, this was supposed to be easy. How the hell did he think he could do this?" Emilia thought to herself as she continued to intensely stare down Peter, who was becoming more brazen and more confident with each comment. Something must be done in regards to the ever encroaching problem she has got on her hands.

Feeling pumped up by that verbal smackdown he made a few seconds ago, with the facetious remark he made earlier, he figured that he could try and salvage this so that the both of them could come out of it with some form of win. And what better way than to give her a couple of choices, one preferable and the other a dud choice that no one in their right mind would pick. "So you've got two choices here." He began, raising his index finger as he began to list the first choice. "You can apologise, we patch things up and I help you sort you out with some insurance. Because I will if you ask politely." He then went into the second choice, raising his middle finger so he was making a V-sign, his palm facing him. "Or you can keep acting like the stereotypical bratty popular cheerleader and make this whole situation worse." As he lowered his fingers, followed by his hand, he continued with that last choice. "And don't think Rooster Cogburn's going to come in to save the day." He had a quick glimpse at her face, again to take a look at what her face would be like, before finishing his little speech. "Your move."

"You think you are going to get this out with one scratch?" Emilia forcefully said, now turning to intimidation tactics to make him back down. "You don't know who you are messing with, boy."

Emilia smirked, as she came up with the next thing to say. "Do you even know who you are talking to? Just guess." Emilia fired back, smirking in thinking she has now outwitted him.

"Still waiting for an answer, Mattie Ross." Peter snapped back, unfazed by her attempts to intimidate him. After all, as she would soon learn, there was a very good reason why no one ever really picked on him despite him being a good target.

"Goddamnit!" Emilia thought harshly to herself as she completely ignored her question. He was that good at outwitting her. "Answer the question."

"Not until you give me a choice." Peter smirked, mostly because of how he was starting to come out on top, as evidenced by her going from flirtatious and confident to a hot mess. After all, he may be a loner who prefers to keep out of conflicts but, should he be thrust into one, he won't back down, no matter what. Anything to make it end just so he can get on with his life and his solitude. He then went back to a stoic expression before carrying on. "Besides, there's only two: Apologising and squashing this beef or carrying on with this whole thing and making life bad for the both of us. I don't think you want the second one."

"You think this is easy? It's not." Emilia fired back, trying to intimidate him via the force of her words alone. "Like I said. Guess."

"Like I said. Pick an option." Peter said, not budging an inch, before rehashing what he said earlier. "And considering what you've been saying, doing and how you've been acting, you're not one to talk about things being easy."

"Says you." Emilia replied, as she took a subtle side glance at the jocks that were sitting at that table a few meters away, listening into the confrontation. Another hint.

"Clever." Peter snapped back in a sarcastic monotone. He may not have been that great at reading people but he had a feeling that even a blind person could notice how Emilia's losing in what descended into a slanging match. After all, she's resorting to bottom-of-the-barrel comebacks and lame attempts to intimidate him instead of admitting defeat and trying to patch things up. But still, he figured he had to answer her question, especially since she won't return the favour. "Besides, I don't know who you are. Nor do I care, to be brutally honest with you. As far as I know, you're just a cheerleader with a massive ego."

"Did you only recently regain your eyesight, buddy?" Emilia replied quickly, as he completely missed the mark on who she was. As before, although she did not show it, this kid was getting on her nerves. "You may have forgotten the clique structure, probably because you were living under a rock." Emilia continued on, as she gave more and more hints on who she was. "I dunno about you, but I think you need to open your eyes."

"They are open." Peter replied, having drowned out her prattling on about the whole clique thing, something that interested him as much as South Park post-Season 15, which to say is not at all. After all, being the loner he is, he preferred to be alone, away from things like cliques and social ladders. "I can see you, I can see the insurance stuff I got out, I can see the table, I can see the rest of the library, I can see those fine gentlemen over there..." He continued, pointing at what he was taken about, including the jocks sitting at the table not too far from them.

At that moment, Emilia just got even more frustrated at the lack of progress of breaking him down, and she mentally facepalmed as he manage to explain that one with ease. "Not literally." Emilia shortly stated.

"Then what do you mean?" Peter asked, growing ever more annoyed by her actions throughout the whole thing. "Again, I don't know who you are, I don't care either. And I don't care about this 'clique structure' crap you were talking about. I know you're one of the cheerleaders but that's it."

"Is this guy seriously kidding himself that he doesn't care?" Emilia thought to herself as she stared him down even harder, the meeting all but gone to hell by this point of time and the subject lost in the wave of jabs, snarky comments and other things. "Maybe I should clue him in." She thought some more.

"You seem to be forgetting two words, honey." Emilia stated as she moved again to her full queen bee posture, trying to get him to grasp on that he was not dealing with a standard cheerleader, oh no. He was dealing with the cheer captain directly. Her. "Can you at least attempt to guess now?"

"John Tory?" Peter sarcastically replied, trying to emphasise how little he cared whilst at the same time trying to express how impatient he was getting. After all, trying to make him guess who she was wasn't really helping things and what seemed to be clues weren't really getting him close to an answer.

Now it was time to finally reveal the truth. "Queen Bee." Emilia simply stated, as she slightly smiled in that stare that she was doing.

"Good thing I've got EpiPen." Peter said with a hint of sarcasm. While he was finally relieved that she finally told him, he was also screaming in fear inside, starting to get worried about the inevitable consequences. But he didn't want to show it. Not only is that how they win but he must also face his fears sometime.

"Queen Bee." Emilia repeated again, this time more slowly in order for him to take in who he was he dealing with. "The Queen Bee is right in front of you."

After realising that she was, in fact, the Queen Bee, Peter looked to one side, as if he was staring into a camera, a worried expression on his face. After a few seconds, he went back to a neutral expression, looked back in Emilia's general direction and spoke again. "Erm... How do you know you're Queen Bee?" Peter asked, sceptical about what she was saying. "Did you listen to that Lorde song and that's how you became one?"

"Cheer captain." Emilia simply replied yet again, as she twirled her ponytail around with her left hand as she stared down him yet again. She smirked as she did this, and he started becoming uncomfortable.

Peter then sighed, partially because he was wondering what he got himself into and partially because he felt like this had gone on long enough. He cleared his throat and spoke up. "You know that's all you had to say, right? No, better idea, all you had to say is 'No, I'm sorry, I don't have insurance', right? I-I mean, I would've been mad because of everything I had to go through to get it for my car, but I would've gotten over it. Hell, I would've helped you get some if you asked politely. It would've been a damn lot easier than whatever the hell you were doing." Peter paused briefly, as he thought of something else he could add while he was calling her out on her whole attitude. "And another thing: Is everyone in Cali like that? Is everyone this obtuse and really unhelpful trou d'cul when it comes to things? Because that's not how we do it in Canada. We actually get things done." He sighed, still exasperated from the whole situation, then finished his train of thought. "I'm not going to repeat those choices again, mirror universe Nadine Franklin."

Emilia remained dead silent as she thought of what else she could say to him. He clearly was not going to give up.

"If it helps," Peter began, as if he was adding as a little sidenote, mostly as an attempt to patch things up between the two. "I will apologise for all the sarcasm earlier if that helps you pick one. I'm sorry for being sarcastic. Now, all I need is an answer."

Emilia still remained dead silent as she continued to stare.

"And I'm not going to tell the police either." Peter continued in an attempt to get her to answer. "This whole thing's already turned into a huge mess and I don't want the cops to make it even more worse."

Emilia still remained dead silent, as she pondered what to say next. And also refusing to answer him.

As he was waiting for an answer, he started to think to himself. "Wait, hang on, am I beating the Queen Bee? Because I'm not hearing anything. I think I am! Awesome. Just wait for her to speak again and make your next move."

Then suddenly, at that exact moment, Emilia drew her hand of wild cards. "Maybe you should look for signs of rain in the coming days, honey." Emilia slyly smirked as she did a subtle side glance to the jocks to signal them what she meant. "Who knows, the hallways may become suddenly soaked with water pretty soon."

"Oh honey, you are so naive and optimistic..." Emilia thought as she waited for a response.

"Is that another threat?" Peter thought to himself as he came up with a reply. "You know that we're in Seattle, right?" He said. "I should prolly look up when it's not going to rain."

"In the hallways, buddy." Emilia corrected him.

"I think the school can afford to get the roof fixed." Peter snapped back. "And I'm still not your buddy, guy."

"Not weather related." Emilia corrected him yet again, slyly smirking as she waited for the inevitable kickback.

"Ice bucket challenge?" He replied, trying to guess if she was linked to that Furry kid who had some water thrown on him earlier; an event he heard about but didn't exactly see. He then continued. "You do realise I'm Canadian, right? And how cold it can get up there?"

"So, what?" Emilia replied. "I mean, everyone gets the shivers once that happens to you."

"Why? Have you ever had it done to you?" Peter asked. He really wanted her to get to the point and pick a choice so they could both go. "And you do realise that I can change my mind about not contacting the police about your lack of insurance, right?"

"You wouldn't really do that, honey?" Emilia said.

"I don't know, are you going to give me a choice?" Peter said, hoping she'd pick one of the two he gave her earlier. He also decided that he won't contact the police about her not having insurance, mostly because no one would come out on top, but he waited for the right time to say it.

And for a third time in this entire conversation, Emilia remains zipped. She doesn't say anything.

"You know it's just a simple 'one or the other' thing, right? No wrong answer." Peter said, trying to say something that would make her pick.

She still remains dead silent, and noticeably gives a glance to the jocks. And for a brief short moment, a flash of worry came out of her face.

Peter, who noticed that she was looking at something, quickly glanced over at what she was looking at. In this case, it turned out to be the table full of jocks. He then looked back at her general direction and said "And now you're going to set your goons on me, right?" He figured that now might be the best time to say it, just to defuse the scenario. "Fortunately, I was bluffing earlier. I'm still not going to tell the cops, because no one would win if I did, everyone would be worse off. But I still need a choice."

"You can't just assume." Emilia replied.

"I can't, no." Peter said, moving his chair a little bit more forward "But again I can hazard a guess. I mean, why are your jock friends here if they aren't reading or doing schoolwork? And why did you look over at them a few seconds ago?"

And then Emilia realised he caught on. "Goddamnit, Emilia! You let him catch on because it was too obvious!

"Maybe there's a good reason for it, I don't know. And, as I've said, don't care." Peter said, trying to be rational about the whole situation. "But whatever the case is, I still need you to pick a choice. One last time: You apologise, we cool, I help with insurance; or you keep acting like this and end up making things worse. The choice is yours but I still need to hear it."

And then, Emilia falls dead silent. For the fourth time.

"It's the second one, right?" Peter said, trying to guess at what her next move is. "Are you going for the dud choice?"

Emilia keeps her silence as she keeps sitting at the desk, her arms crossed in front of her as she exhibited a case of external and internal. Externally she was still the queen bee. Internally, she was panicking.

"I thought so." Peter said, noticing how silent she was being, before trying to come up with an idea to get this over and done with. At this point he was basically winging it, so he was hoping that she'd go along with this idea so they could both finally be free of each others' presence. "Well, here's a deal. You give me a choice and we can end this thing. I still won't tell the police, you won't have to deal with me for a while and we can both go off and do our thing. Is that OK with you?"

And Emilia still remains silent. Something must have happened to make her be like this.

Peter remained as silent as she did. After all, there was no point in pushing her, since she won't shove. No point in speaking, since it would just fall on deaf ears. The only thing he had to do now is wait, either for her to break the silence or for something else to happen, just to get the ball rolling again.

Finally, after a minute of waiting. She finally talked. "You made your point." Emilia simply replied.

"I know I have." Peter said in a matter-of-fact way, since bragging about it wouldn't help anyone. "However, we can put this behind us if you just apologise. Or you can keep acting like this unholy brat you've been like. I know I keep going on about it, but it's just two choices. And you need to pick one. Do you want me to give you some time to think?"

And she became really conflicted. Not in the sense about what he said, but in whether she should just get some car insurance and send it to him so that this thing can be over. That doesn't excuse the snippy attitude towards her. At all. "You will get your insurance." Emilia stated, finally caving somewhat to his suggestion to get insurance. "Since there is only one sensible option..."

"Alright, thank you." Peter calmly said after hearing the news. After all, things were starting to come to an end and the best course of action would be to apologise again for how he acted, just to avoid things getting worse "And I'm sorry about how I acted. But, again, if you had just said it from the beginning, we wouldn't be in this mess. You know, it's-it's a no-brainer."

She was cursing herself intensely in her head as he said the words to her, as she finally conceded. How did he outwit her? How did he manage to block her flirtations with ease? Why did he not fall easily for the charms? How? Just how? Emilia was very confused as she remained silent, with a noticeable sullen expression on the normally confident queen bee's face.

Then, she responded. "You think you may have won, but you are mistaken." Emilia said, with a hint of her queen bee bitchiness coming around. "Just.. prepare yourself for some unexpected visitors."

"One at a time, please." Peter snarked at her comment about "unexpected visitors". While he did regret it shortly after the words left his mouth, mostly because he had tried so hard to get things calm between the two, he brushed off his fears when he realised that she's not going to budge and she's going to keep making his life hell, simply because she was too afraid to do something simple as state that she has no insurance or even apologise for making a bad situation worse.

"I don't know what you talking about." Emilia said.

"You will eventually." Peter fired back.

She keeps quiet. She lost. Badly. But she wasn't about to show it in front of him.

"Again, do you want me to leave you alone for a little bit, let you think about it?" Peter asked, trying to calm the situation down despite his earlier remark. "That way, once you've come up with your choice, you can just find me and tell me it."

Emilia, who is now pretty much tired of this entire meeting, just got up from her chair and grabbed her school bag and gym bag from off the floor, putting the former on her back and the latter wrapped around her shoulder. She looked at him one last time.

"This meeting is now over, I guess." Emilia simply stated, no complex language or words. Just blunt and direct. "Expect people. Don't expect a miracle." And she walked to the entrance of the library to head back to her dorms, but not signalling the jocks to come with her, which they obliged.

And she simply said to them, "Do what you do best. You know the moves."

And as she headed back to her dorm room, one word came out of her mouth: "Fuck!"

As she finally got up, Peter breathed a small sigh of relief. It was finally over and he can finally go off and do his things. Granted, he'd still need to explain it to the insurance company but hopefully Dr. Kent would help him with that. However, things took a sharp turn for the worse when Emilia told him to expect people and not a miracle, before walking off. "Bye." Peter said as she left, saying it as if he was telling a friend he'll meet them later. He sighed again as he watched the jocks leave the library, confirming that they were under Emilia's payroll. Once they all left, he took out his phone and stopped the recording. At first, he thought it would be a good idea, just to confirm to the insurance people that an insurance exchange thing took place. But then he realised that she might try and play it so that he's the one in the wrong. So he decided to keep a hold of it, just in case she does end up doing that. He sighed again and thought to himself. "I'm guessing I won't be getting a Christmas card from her this year, then." Getting up, he put all of the insurance stuff in an orderly pile, put his open bag on the chair and stuffed everything inside, since he'll put it away more neatly later. He then left the library and began to head outside the school, hoping to buy some stuff so he can make his lunches for the rest of the week, unable to shake off the feeling that this is the beginning of an easily-avoidable conflict. This was definitely going to be a long year.

Ezekiel

Ezekiel usually wasn't someone who really gave a crap about sports, in his last school the rivalry between schools was childishly petty and violent. Muggings, vandalism, technical gang violence. The usual. He only participated in a few "Non major" sports like Cross Country and Golf(And he rocked them mind you). But Andrew was playing, it was his first week here, and it was a big ass stadium, so Ezekiel decided to go watch the first game. Why the fuck not.

First thing he did though was to go the Concessions Stands to get food. He had about twenty bucks to spend, and he was going to use them wisely. He saw some staff and students helping out, but for the most part most of the people were strangers. So here he was at a crossroads, and when in doubt Ezekiel would usually just pick whichever one had the cutest girl selling food. Technically perverted, but he wasn't going to try to seduce her or anything so from his point of view there was no harm.

So he ordered some Oreos, Gummy Bears,(They served fucking gummy bears holy shit!), a Sprite, and some other food. As the girl handed him the food, he muttered, "Do you happen to sell any toothpaste or mouthwash? You'd probably triple your profits." ,making the girl suppress a laugh.

Huh, I wasn't even trying that time. Guess I am that funny.

So he put his food in is bag which he carried(Because where was he supposed to hold all his food, up his ass?), and then got an idea he thought he could get away with. He thanked the girl and walked around the side, calmly opening the door into the Booth. As everyone looked at him in confusion, especially the girl, he said "Sorry about being late, some guy told me about three minutes ago he'd pay to work at this booth because some other guy couldn't make it. Where do I start?" An adult that was probably a Staff Member than told Ezekiel "Oh thank God! Half our team's flaked out last minute. Think you handle the windows?"

"It's not the first time I've worked at a football concession stand. I got this."

And so Ezekiel lied himself into a job selling food because he was bored. He began to wonder if he could somehow get away with stealing anything.

Sophia Taylor

Despite the rather rough start to the week, Sophia had enjoyed the relative peace that followed the infamous assembly that will be remembered by the attending students for quite a long time. Throughout the week, she sought the alternating-company and friendship of Audrey Harte, Andrew Marks, and Robert Kerstettar - and, in doing so, hoping to find her place in the school body. She'd even meet Eric Stevens one day during lunch, and having grown a little fond of him. Sophia also wanted to get to know both Azar Shahmirzadi (and has made it a personal quest of hers to correctly pronounce her last name by the end of the month) and Erin Sarenda a bit more, but hadn't quite found the time to hang out with them as much as she'd like. Sophia Taylor, so it seemed, finally managed to make a solid crop of quality friends. Sophia, however, cared little for social stature, and she simply wanted to go through the motions and have a decent experience (like anyone else would hope for) during her time in high school. Her goal was, for now, to just establish a close circle of friends and to avoid any such spotlight, as well as any accompanying drama that usually follows it. Little did she know, however, that things would be changing in the near future. Leaving the dormitory with Audrey, Sophia mentally thought about sending Rob a text to inform him of their heading to the football stadium rather early, hopefully to catch a good seat prior to the arrival of the massive swath of crowds at David Swinson Maynard Memorial Stadium.

Hey Rob, just wanted to let you know we're here. Call or text me when you are here too. We'll save a seat for you, if you'd like to join us!

Sophia grinned as she looked over at Audrey. "Are you embarrassed yet?" In preparation for the game, Sophia had decided to wear blue body paint from head-to-toe, even sporting some black-eye, and (for added humorous effect) even made sure to have Andrew's number painted on her belly with yellow paint - though she made sure to cover it with a shirt as she made her way to the stadium, with the intention to knot it once the game had begun. "Oh, and my friend Rob may be coming too. Kinda hope I embarrass him, but I don't want to embarrass him too much." Sophia says with a slight chuckle "You know what I mean?" She said with a warm and friendly smile. The pair made their way up the ramps and toward the bleachers, and Sophia made sure to occupy a front-row seat as they had planned. Her eyes gazed across the field, watching warm-up routines by both football players and cheerleaders alike, unknowingly making eye-contact with a particular infamous Emilia at one-point and mentally recalling her as being one of the girls in the hallway who had pulled a previous prank as an act of bullying earlier in the school week. She then turned toward Audrey, sliding her head-band on after putting her hair into a ponytail. "Hey, Audrey! If I make a run down to the concession stand, would you want anything? Haven't had anything to eat since lunch-time. I've got some cash, but keep in mind that I still need to pay for that lamp in our room."

Jamal Pearson

Jamal entered the locker room where the varsity football team prepared for their upcoming match. He wore his JV jersey over a black hoodie and grey joggers. As he came in he greeted the varsity coaching staff and made his way to the cooler. He cleaned them out and started to fill them up with water. Jamal played on the JV team but he liked to help out the varsity guys on game day. He went around doing various task for the players and coaches and he made sure everyone stayed hydrated. This also helped the varsity coaches notice him and gave him a chance to get closer to the varsity team. As he filled up the coolers a few players entered and he wished them well.

After finishing up the water he headed over to the grab the water bottles. Going through the same process he cleaned them out and filled them up, stacking them into their trays. Once he was done he checked over everything and made sure it was good to go.

Jamal had been studying the wildcats a bit before the game and would use his knowledge to try and help the team win. He would sit on the sidelines and watch the games trying to help when he could. Although he was young it always helped to have an extra set of eyes out there to analyze the game. Jamal especially liked to look out for Eric and talk with him about the game. Eric was the star quarterback on varsity and was slowly becoming a bit of a role model for Jamal.
Jamal searched the locker room looking for him so that they could talk before the game. He eventually found him in the locker room and approached him offering him a coconut water.

"Here this helps before a game...Trust me this stuff is magic." he leaned up against one of the lockers and extended it out to Eric.

Malax had just talked to Erin on the phone and they were suppose to meet at the bus stop and head to the music store. This had peaked Malax's interest a lot more than the football game and he jumped at the chance to go. Not only did he enjoy making music, Malax was avid listens to many genres and used them as inspiration and samples. One of Malax's favorite groups was Bon Jovi but he also enjoyed old school hip-hop and 90s boy bands.

Malax left his dorm and headed towards the bus stop. He was a bit early so he sat down to wait for Erin to arrive. He put on his head phones and started to listen to A$AP.

Erin Sarenda

After making it to her dorm back on the Monday after the assembly/pep rally, Erin simply grabbed her school bag (which also doubled as a laptop bag if she needed it), opened it and gave it a check to see if everything was there. After all, considering the long distance she had to travel, it would be very infuriating if a book or a set of pencils were left back in Snells Beach or, worse, LAX, she'd probably lose her temper, something that no one should have to witness. Fortunately for her and, to a lesser extent, everyone else, not a single thing was missing. Granted, her mum and dad checked and double checked with her just to make sure she's not missing a single thing but it was always nice to give it one final check just to be safe, especially once you've reached your destination. Breathing a sigh of relief, she closed it back up but not before turning around and finding that Blake had finally woken up and, instead of going to the pep rally (something Erin didn't really blame Blake for), she was busy eating crisps and watching videos on YouTube.

Finally glad that her roommate had finally woken up, Erin spoke to Blake. She started off with a little joke, comparing her to Sleeping Beauty and asking where her prince went off to. However, she wasn't exactly sure if the joke landed, as Blake just simply said "Good morning" to Erin and said she had a hangover, which was why she wanted Erin to be a little bit quiet. Fortunately, Erin didn't mind and just explained what had happened during the rally; saying that Blake didn't miss much but also bringing up Casey's little incident. After explaining what happened, Erin then reminded Blake that class was going to start soon, although fortunately she reckoned that there would be enough time for Blake to sober up before class started. Erin also thought about whether or not she should walk Blake to class, just in case she didn't know where it was, but then she remembered that she didn't want to keep Malax waiting for her; fortunately, as some sort of consolation, Erin told Blake the room number and said she'd meet her there. She then rounded off the whole conversation by saying her name, followed by Blake doing the same; not just so Blake would know that this was the same Erin that wrote the note earlier but also because Erin wanted to know what the girl she'll be living with for the next year at least was called. Realising the time by quickly peering at Blake's screen, Erin simply grabbed her bag, the two girls said their goodbyes for the moment and Erin headed out of the room.

Once she was out of the dorm, Erin paused for a couple of seconds to think about Blake. There wasn't really much to think about, due to it being a quick meeting and all. However, she did like what he had met so far. "She seems nice. Kind of cute too." She thought to herself, summing it all up and even smiling a little bit to herself just before she went off to locate her best friend. She managed to find him, at which point the duo headed off over to their first ever class at Blake Holsey: Chemistry with Mr. Bryant. Indeed, when Erin and Malax made it there, she met back up with Blake, which lead to Erin introducing her roommate to her best friend. Once the pleasantries were over and the class actually began, everyone sat down in their seats and waited for the lesson to start. A lesson she somewhat enjoyed, although it would've been a little bit better if she was actually given a chance to bring up how German science is the best in the world; granted it probably would've gotten her some weird looks unless people knew the reference but even then it was something that could lighten the mood, maybe make it a fun lesson for everyone involved. If only she could do the voice, whether it be from the original Japanese dub or the English dub.

Unfortunately, the week was mostly uneventful. Apart from talking to Malax, Blake and the odd chat with Sophia every now and then, she didn't get up to a lot on her first week. After all, not only was the New Zealand vs Argentina rugby game not until the weekend but so was the Auckland vs Taranaki game in the Mitre 10 Cup, so it was just trying to keep herself occupied until then. She even went as far as to go to the opening away game against Kennedy Catholic High School to satisfy her need to watch some live sport, despite the fact that she and her family were more into rugby. On the upside, it's never too late to give different sports a try and, indeed, she was pumped up on the way there and through the first quarter. However she ended up falling asleep some time into the second quarter, not necessarily out of boredom but rather because she was very tired, not having slept much during the night. On the one hand, it might seemed a bit disrespectful, especially since the team needed all the support they could get. But, on the other, not a whole lot was going on and, fortunately, she woke up towards the end, just in time to see the Seawolves narrowly lose. But what she did saw was enjoyable enough to justify the trip; it may not have been enough to actually get her into football but it was still enough to keep her occupied.

And then came Friday. Rather than go to the football game that was going on, she decided that she'd rather spend the evening going out and getting some new bass strings. After all, it was probably a good idea to get some in her first week here just so she won't need to get some later if anything bad happens, like they break or anything like that. However, as she thought about it, she realised that Malax, being a musician, would probably like to tag along. After all, it might be worth getting him some stuff to make music with. Maybe a drum machine just in case he fancies something other than whatever software he uses, maybe a sampler just in case he wanted to take samples of sounds to use in his songs, maybe an actual instrument just in case he actually feels like putting a live spin on things. Plus she figured that she could use the company and, since she wasn't sure where Blake was at and Sophia was at the football game, he was the only other person she could really talk to. She picked up her phone, rang Malax up and simply asked if he wanted to go to the music store with her to pick some stuff up. He was fine with it although, since neither of them had any mode of transport, she suggested that he wait at the bus stop for her, since she wasn't quite ready. Indeed, just after the phone call ended, she got herself ready, putting her phone in her pocket, grabbing her wallet and heading out of the door.

A short time later, Erin arrived at the bus stop, where she saw her best friend. Dressed in roughly the same (albeit clean) clothes she wore during that first day, with the only real difference being an All Blacks jersey under her East German army jacket, she stood next to Malax and simply greeted him with a "Chur bro." After he presumably stopped listening to his music, they both asked each other about their day, if they had any plans for the weekend, all that good stuff. But, most importantly of all, they talked about their shared interest: rugby. Not only was there the talk about whether or not New Zealand could win The Rugby Championship for the second year in a row but they also talked about the possibility of another professional union tournament in North America after what happened with PRO Rugby, as well as if the school should have a rugby team or revive it if they had one but dropped it for whatever reason. A short time later, their bus arrived and they sat down near the middle, Erin taking the window seat. Shortly after the bus started to move to its next stop, Erin looked out of the window and simply asked her friend "So are you gonna get anything, bro? Maybe some gear to help you make some more tunes?"

Christian McGraw
Monday, September 4, 2017

Noticing the glare he recieved from Mikaël he returned it with an unfazed expression, he had his fair share of threats before so it wasn't anything new to deal with, he simply shrugged his shoulders at him instead as a more definite answer "You're gonna need a bit more 'fire power' to scare me".

"Well we best be on our way, I'll give you two some space so I'll go ahead." Christian said as he walked out the door trying to get his bag on, as he walked down the hall he wondered what class he would be taking first and if the teacher would be any good.

Friday, September 8, 2017

Christian placed the pencil down on his desk and shifted his hand to a mouse attached to his laptop, he finally finished his homework which would've took him 10-25 minutes but while multitasking it took 5-6 hours, or so he believes. He and his friends from Boston were playing a 10 vs 10 game on Wargame: Red Dragon, they were about to finish as he commanded a unit of T-80s to push the last sector and in a few moments victory was gained.

"Thanks you twats for helping out." Christian said over the call "No problem fuck face, same time next week guys?" one of his friends responded which was responded back with words synonymous to yes, or at least what was synonymous to them given how insults also tended to be the same as yes. He said his goodbyes as he turned off his laptop, he then got up and wondered what to do, he could go to that game but he wasn't really into Football, nor did he really have a reason to go so he got his jacket and his phone and decided to roam the campus.

Andrew Marks

Andrew was hyped for the first game. He was excited, like if this was sex and not football, he would be……...well you get the picture. Either way, the week had been an intriguing one to say the least. He meet his kick ass roommate who he immediately hit it off with, a Qubecois girl who was………..a bit clueless. (Thank God he knew enough French to speak to her, he gets uncomfortable when he can't understand the language someone is speaking.) Then there was Sophia, a girl he found out was indeed from Louisiana, and he might have had a slight thing for, but wouldn't admit shit to Ezekiel if it killed him.

So it was game day, and Andrew was sporting his number 25 as he got ready in the locker rooms, and did his pre-game stretches. His leg stretches were always quite extensive when it came to his leg stretches. He needed to be limber for the coming game, his maneuverability tended to be a wonderful quality in a Wide Receiver believe it or not. He also caught a glimpse of the filling stadium early, which impressed him.

Oh, Andrew remembered the good ole days back in Texas football, with all big games and the crowd chanting their approval of his athleticism as he scored a touchdown. His older brother gave him a call earlier in the day, to reiterate different brotherly proverbs, and “not to get knocked flat on his ass too much.”

Andrew knew how to take his medicine, and dish it out too, though he was an evasive WR more than anything. When the other team has players like Darnell, it's best to just run like the devil is chasing you(Of course add all the fancy “break your ankles” shit). There are players Andrew can take a hit from and still keep going, though others look will straight up bulldoze his ass.

Andrew was what you call someone who handled what would normally situations that would cause someone to freak out. Sometimes too calm, like when you walk into your best friends room while they're fucking their girlfriend, but casually play it off like nothing happened. Same thing in football, he kept his cool, which made getting mowed down easier to handle in some cases.

Either way, Andrew completed his stretches and sauntered over to Kennedy with a smile. “Okay, its game day, I bet we can beat them by 14 points assuming all things go right. What do you think?” He said, making obvious small talk. Andrew wasn't one to be cocky in victory, but he was happy to finally be in the game again.

Megan Carrollton

Megan was still trying to get herself antiquated and hadn't appeared to have been too successful in making many friends up to this point. The night of the football game, when much of the school appeared to had poured into Maynard Memorial Stadium, Megan had struggled with the idea of being a social recluse - but also didn't want to bother with awkwardly sitting alone during the game. Megan, despite being somewhat attractive, was a difficult and stubborn person to have any sort of a friendship with - much less a romantic relationship, as many boys who had tried their luck with her had discovered over the years back in Ohio/DC. Despite this, Megan had preferred the friendship of boys to girls, being the latter tend to drum up unnecessary drama and gossip - both of which she had her fill, simply from being the daughter of a United States Senator. Rather than electing for either option of staying indoors or attending the football game, Megan decided to step out of her dorm room and meander around campus - hoping to run into someone whom she had at least recognized previously from another class and, perhaps, find something else to do in order to kill time. She had plugged in some earplugs, packed a laptop in her bag, and sat out in the open as the sun began to set. "Shoot." Megan said, recognizing the battery was nearly spent and the laptop had failed to charge from earlier. She glanced around some more, got up, and proceeded to walk around campus some more - exploring it while the masses seemed to be pre-occupied with the gridiron game occurring not too far from campus.

Theresa Richards

As-promised to Grant, Theresa had shown up to the football game. The co-captain secretly despised attending these sort of events, preferring to play sports, or even watch them on television, than to be sitting in the stands. The raucous nature of football, primarily by its' spectators, was never particularly pleasant to Theresa. Yet, the fact that she was sitting with some of her soccer team companions had made the misery a little bit more bearable for her. Before the game had begun, she had watched as a particularly enthusiastic football player, wearing 25, jotting out onto the field. 'Look at this showboat' Theresa thought to herself, rolling her eyes at his clear overconfidence. She continued to glance around the field, seeking in particular her friend, Grant Allen, and cracking a slight grin after she had seen him stretching on the field. A short while later, the bored Theresa took out her phone and started to text Chelsea Childers, her fellow co-captain of the soccer team.

Hey. $10 #25 fumbles at some point during the game.

Peter Kowalski

After the failed meeting, Peter tried to get his mind off of the whole thing. Her threats, her attempts to throw him off, everything. It all had to be ejected. After all, if Emilia found out that he was unsettled by the whole thing, she'd use it to her advantage. Having to deal with her was bad enough but now he'll have to worry about any jocks she recruits in an attempt to beat him up or any cheerleaders she sics on him. Still, he figured that he might as well cross that bridge when he gets to it. Eventually, when he made it out of the school, he headed to the nearest store and bought things to use for his lunch for the week: Bread, fillings, iced tea and other assorted stuff, as well as something quick that he could make for his dinner. Eventually, when he made it back to his dorm, he put all of it in a safe place, did his usual stuff until it was time for bed, occasionally talking to Logan if he spoke first. All in all, a good first day just as long as you include that minor setback.

The next few days were mostly uneventful at best, although fortunately there were a few bright spots. Most of the time was spent talking to Yuki, getting to know her, build up a rapport and generally see if it's worth trying to ask her out or if he should set his sights somewhere else. Not to mention that he figured it was a good way to actually try and initiate a conversation with someone, something he always had trouble with unless it was with family members or people he really knew. There was also Logan, his roommate, trying to converse with him but Peter didn't really say a whole lot; not necessarily total silence most of the time but rather sentences that seemed to-the-point, usually summed up in one or two sentences. Not because he had any beef with Logan himself - if he was more socially active he'd definitely make more of an effort to be friends, if not best friends with the guy - but because he wasn't really that talkative around people he didn't really know. And while Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday were relatively quiet days, Friday was absolute hell for him. After all, since it was the first home game of the season, it was absolutely packed with people wearing the school colours and trying to flog Seawolves stuff; shirts, banners, you name it, they sold it. And, indeed, people were trying to sell him stuff despite the fact that, unlike his parents and brothers, Peter didn't like football at all. Trying to avoid a panic attack, he made his way around people, pushing them out of the way if need be, just so he could make it to lessons or anywhere else that he needed to go. Not to mention that, since he wasn't going to the football game, it would be pointless.

So he decided to go out for the evening, if only to get away from it all. After all, it was a big city and there was probably something he could do. Not to mention that Emilia would probably be cheerleading and as a result he wouldn't have to deal with her, her posse or her goons for the time being. The downside is that he wasn't sure where he could go and if he could find someone to go with, simply because it would just be boring if it was just him by himself. Indeed, he wasn't really sure on where to go, let alone who to go with. Lying on the bed in his usual get-up, with the sole difference from Monday being that he was wearing a Rick and Morty shirt instead of a plain white one, he started at the ceiling, wondering what he could do and who he could take, concentrating on the second one because they'd probably want to do something and Peter would more than likely roll with it. Logan wasn't there so he couldn't ask him; he didn't know where Yuki was and he didn't want to call her just in case she was busy; not only did he not know Casey's number but, even if he did, she was at the game and was therefore engaged; and he didn't really know anyone else well enough, if at all, to ask them to hang out. As a result, he was stuck. So he figured that he might as well bite the bullet and try and engage in a social interacton with someone. Sure they might have to start the actual conversation but at least it was a start.

Finally getting up, Peter headed over to the night stand, unplugged his phone off the charger and, after checking his battery and finding out that he had enough for the night, put it back in his pocket. He then took out his iPod and earphones, hoping to listen to some tunes as he wondered the halls. He plugged his earphones into his iPod, selected some Cannibal Ox (more specifically their album The Cold Vein, the only album of theirs he has) and picked a track at random. Content with the song he picked, he decided to roam around the halls, either to find Yuki or, failing that, someone who'd be willing to put up with him for the next couple of hours. Besides, maybe they'll have an idea of what they could both do. He passed a few people but, since he didn't really know who they were, he didn't bother to stop and chat. He saw one of the teachers but, for obvious reasons, he decided to keep walking. It started to feel like that he wasn't really going to find anyone to talk to.

And then he found Megan. He remembered her sitting next to him during art class during the week and how she tried to drum up a conversation, with him not saying much back, mostly because he didn't know who she was and why she wanted to talk to him. He didn't seem very interesting other than the fact that he was Canadian and he was wearing a Toronto Raptors shirt at the time. But would she remember him, if only because of how he acted during that lesson? He figured it was worth a short. Stepping out of her way, if only to avoid the cliché "two people meet by walking into each other" introduction, Peter stepped to one side and waved slightly, as if he was trying to flag her down. He then moved his hand down by his side and waited for a reply, waiting for a reply, hoping that he won't mess up this conversation.

Megan Carrollton

Megan glanced around her shoulder, setting the backpack onto the ground for a brief moment to take her sweater off. While yes it meant going with bare-shoulders, she had overestimated a slightly breezy evening - at least so to her. Megan then packed the sweater into her bag, slid it back on, and started to make her way toward a previously unexplored part of campus. Thus far, she hadn't seen a single familiar face. Not a one. Megan started to feel rather disappointed in that fact. Moments later, however, as she started to make a turn around a corner, Megan caught glimpse of a familiar face. Megan offered a slight smile, as the boy stepped off to avoid a collision, and she noticed him standing by as if he were anticipating some sort of a conversation. 'Ah, what the heck. I haven't seen anyone else I know.' Megan paused for a moment, turning toward Peter, and nodded her head. "Hey, what's up?" She then brought her finger up to her chin as a physical expression to denote her contemplating something. "Peter... right? Peter... Kozluzny? Kuzlowski? Kuznetsov?" Megan asked, knowing he had a difficult-to-pronounce last name and knowing that any attempt to pronounce it would have been rather embarrassing regardless.

Aaron "Claw" Hunter, Seawolves Mascot

Aaron... Was too excited to move. He'd managed to put on the mascot costume but, now he was in it, was finding it hard to stay calm. He could hardly believe it, he finally had a fursuit! And the fact that he was expected to wear it fairly often was quite the bonus. He took a deep breath, trying to compose himself, remembering what he'd need to do as the match went on.

It... Wasn't like him to prance around and just... Do mascot-like things. He was typically not an overly bouncy kind of person. So, Aaron was grateful he was wearing a suit. Hopefully he could get past a few appearances before people started connecting the seawolves' new mascot to that weird student who wore animal ears.

He took the headpiece off, deciding he'd wait for more people to arrive before actually setting foot outside. The furry expected Mickael to turn up at any moment as well, probably to give some kind of supportive advice while being just that little bit too close for comfort.

Christian McGraw
Friday, September 8, 2017

As Christian roamed the halls he ran into a few people, normally he'd try to start a conversation he didn't given that they were staff, he only gave a simple hello as he passed them. He got his phone out along with some earphones and put them on, listening to a band he and his friend back in Boston enjoyed he lowered the volume as to still have the ability to hear nearby conversations or to hear anyone trying to get his attention.

He continued down a hall and heard two people conversing, he slightly didn't mind but when he heard one word his mind began to run about "Fleet Admiral Nikolay Kuznetsov, highest admiral in the Soviet Navy, mainly commanded the Soviet Pacific Fleet, his actions even merited him the highest award the USSR could give him, the Hero of the Soviet Union..... Why do I know these things?" Christian asked himself until he realized that the two people were his classmates.

"I see you guys aren't attending the game, not a fan of football I guess?" Christian spoke, hoping that this wouldn't go downhill too fast.

"Hellooooo Aaron.", a familiar, somewhat muffled voice would speak to Aaron's ear. The furry would turn to see Edward with his signature black coat and black... Everything. Even the frame of his glasses were black. Even if the scarf obscured his mouth, the eyes would show that he was smiling.

" So you're the mascot now, eh?", the black coated chief editor said. Putting an arm over Aaron's shoulder, he went on. "A furry posing as a seawolf. Most fitting. Too bad I won't be actually be watching the game. Jeff and I have three more articles due tomorrow and we, uh, can't afford any more delays. If and only if we get it done today, we might watch. Or maybe just him. Football doesn't really fit my fancies."

Suddenly pinching him at the cheeks, Edward remarked that "You do look really excited and happy wearing that." Then in a little more serious tone, he said that, "The same people who threw iced water over you, are, uh, the same members of the team you will be serving in. Look out for yourself bud...", he said as he rubbed Aaron's back the same way one would comfort a friend that has been hurt. " The populars are total pricks, you know..."

Relieved that she was going to stop and talk, Peter moved back a little bit more just to give Megan some space. However, when he thought about it, he wasn't really sure if this whole thing was such a good idea in the first place. The first problem was that he remained quiet, waiting for her to talk first, so unless she was the talkative kind then the whole thing would just be a long stretch of silence until one of them mustered up the courage to speak. The second problem was that he wasn't sure if he should go straight into asking her if she wanted to hang out or build up to it; even if he did want to build up to it, there was the question of what they could talk about to get along. He wasn't sure if she liked Rick and Morty, he didn't know what sports teams she liked if any and he wasn't sure if he should talk about cooking, especially if she hadn't had any dinner yet. On the other hand, if he just straight up asked her if she wanted to do anything, there's a chance that she would think he's asking her out on a date. While he did think she was attractive and wouldn't be surprised if she had a boyfriend or at least someone crushing on her, he was more interested in Yuki and was still hoping to know her better before asking her out. However, despite all these thoughts swirling in his head, he just stood there, waiting for Megan to start things off.

And then she spoke. She asked if the boy she was talking to was Peter. He nodded slightly, although his face sank a little bit when she tried to pronounce his surname. "Kowalski." He said after her three failed attempts, saying it slowly just so she could hear how he pronounced it ("koh-wal-skee") and remember it. He wasn't exactly sure why she was having trouble with it when a) it's one of the most well-known Polish surnames out there, b) it's not like he still had the surname (Kowalewicz) his ancestors had when they arrived in Canada from Poland and c) there were a number of surnames that were WAY harder to pronounce. Still, when he thought about it, not only did the whole surname thing only really come up once in the entire time they met (when he wrote it down on a piece of paper) but at least she got his first name right which, in his opinion, was the more important thing. Unless the other Peter was with them and the person speaking was talking to one of them and not the other. Rather than get sidetracked by those thoughts, Peter decided to just answer her question just to keep this thing going. "Either way, I'm alright, thanks. Just bored." He said, answering her question, hoping that him not making eye contact wouldn't worry her. "Yourself?" He asked, wondering if anything was up with her.

Then, not long after as he finished speaking, Peter turned round to hear another voice. This time, it was Christian, who asked them if they didn't like football, simply because they weren't attending the big game. Seeing as the conversation barely started and another person would help keep the thing going so Megan won't be worried by Peter's awkwardness, he wasn't really that bothered by the new guy joining in. He did, however, wonder WHY he was joining in but he then figured that the guy was like him, he just wanted something to do and this was the easiest way to relieve boredom. "No, I hate football." Peter quickly replied, answering Christian's question. "Canadian, American, association, you name it. My mom, dad and brothers love it - they catch the Grey Cup even if the Argos aren't in it and they watch the Super Bowl no matter who's playing - but I just hide in my room and wait for it to blow over." He then turned into Christian's general direction, not making eye contact with him either, and carried on his train of thought. "I guess you don't like it that much either, since you're here and not over there."

Malax Sera

Malax didn't do much this week and was excited to get off campus and head to the music store. He got onto the bus with Erin and sat beside her in the middle of the bus. They talked for a while about their weekend plans. Malax didn't have anything planned and had skipped out on the football game. Malax had thought about going but when Erin called him and invited him to go with her that sounded like a much better time. After a while, they got to talking about rugby and as usual the success of New Zealand. Malax had seen a few of the games and pretty much had it set in his mind that New Zealand would win again. He liked the Eagles but he knew they didn't stand a chance. The thought of the school having a team really peaked Malax's interest. He would love to play here and help to start a team with Erin. If they could get things going that would give Malax something else to do.

As the bus moved along its route Erin asked Malax what he planned to purchase at the store.

"Umm... I don't know yet but I plan to look through some of the old music and see if I can find any good samples. Those are gold and if you have the right ear it can make your song a thousand times better. Then I might go look at some new stuff see if they have any of the new stuff that released."

The bus got closer to their stop and Malax pulled the line signaling that their stop was coming up.

"What about you... I'm sure this place is like a gold mine for you. You're really into making music... I just make noise over it." Malax laughed as they got up and stepped off of the bus.

"Have you been off campus yet?"

Megan Carrollton

Following the awkward blunder made by Megan, who simply could not recall Peter's last name for the life of her at that very moment - and Peter clearly was rather disappointed in the fact that she didn't remember it, she glanced over as Christian made his way over to the two of them before she could get a response off to Peter's question. "Hey." Megan offered, simply, in response as Peter seemed to be a bit more inclined to answer the question posed by Christian - then chuckled after Peter's insinuation that Christian, too, wasn't a particular fan of football simply due to the fact he was around them as opposed to being in the stadium. "Honestly, I'm not crying over missing the game." Megan said with a grin as she crossed her arms.

Mickaël came up behind the two and quickly batted Ed's hand away from Aaron, he smiles at Aaron, "I shall only come to these events for you Mon Amor." He gives Aaron a hug, but pulls away with a serious expression on his face, "but if one of those Chattes try anything, you tell me, alright?....I will deal with them if they hurt you Mon Amor." He quickly changes back to his happy expression, "but you'll do great, you can do anything you can dream of Mon Amor." He gives Aaron to pecks on each cheek.

Time Skip Post
During Time Skip
April Chetwynd
Over the next few days of the early days of the beginning of school, April and Seth started to hang out quite a lot. She hadn't expected to meet someone on day one that she enjoyed hanging out with so much, but nonetheless, she did. Her original expectations were that she would go through most, if not all the year without really making many friends again, like last year, but this Seth had helped her on day one and they had been friends since. She also had a bad feeling that they would just end up parting ways at some point, and not holding their friendship, but as usual, that was her mind talking and tormenting her. There was no current sign of that happening, and they were just good friends already, hanging out as often as reasonable. It seemed like if they weren't busy with something personal or going to sleep, the two of them were around each other. It had only been a few days, but it already felt like a lifetime of a friendship to her to have such a major friend like this, as her friendships were usually short lived or non-existent.

Beyond that, little happened, besides school related stuff and some struggles with herself. She hadn't really told Seth about her issues yet, though if he payed any attention, he would likely notice pretty easily how hard she was on herself. And just some odd mannerisms in general, like with her quietness sometimes and such like that, all of which typically came from her mind screwing with her. But she told herself that she would eventually tell him. Eventually. Whatever that meant, who knew, but she had told herself that she would tell him nonetheless, even if that meant procrastinating for weeks at doing so, or telling him soon...She felt that since they were already becoming close friends, it was only right if she told him more about herself.

Ella Birkett
Ella's last few days hadn't been quite as good. Or, specifically, yesterday. For the most part, she just hung out with some of her friends, and became closer friends with Logan after their first talk after the Assembly. They had managed to stay as friends after that point, which was nice, as she hadn't really expected it to go well with how she had introduced herself. She expected he would find her odd and leave, but he seemed fine with her. Of course, she was a little glad because of the whole crush thing, but that was more a subtle benefit then anything and she made no huge apparent clue that she did have a little bit of a crush on him. Mostly she was just glad to have a new friend so early into the school year, and he was also there for her after yesterday, which was nice to have after learning such a thing.

And on that topic, things were rather rough for her. She had told Logan pretty much the day before she was to go to the doctor that she was going in for her results of a test that she had done over the summer. She had forgotten, or more likely was too nervous to say anything to him about it, until the day before. This had been something weighing on her mind since she got here, since this "anomaly" was discovered in the middle of the summer and she just happened to have to think about it during the early days of school because of how the doctors appointments set up. She felt bad almost, making friends with Logan but forgetting to tell him that she may have a problem with herself until the day before she would find out, throwing such a thing on a friend that she had just made. She felt it would have been better to make her long time friends have to deal with it, then someone she had just dragged into her friendship circle. But it was too late to turn back now.

Of course, the results had to be about as bad as you could possibly mentally imagine that they would be, and it turned out that she did in fact have something wrong with her. And that something was a severe case of leukemia. It hadn't progressed far enough to give her a ton of side effects yet, but it was there nonetheless, slowly but surely eating away at her blood cells. And it wasn't like it was some casual leukemia that was easy to fight and would be fine, no, they made it pretty blatantly clear that it was spreading rapidly and that she would likely have to go in for chemotherapy to try to do what they could to stop it rather quickly. The specific cancer was Acute Myeloid Leukemia. The survival rate wasn't great for people her age, but it was better than others. However, hers was deemed more rapidly spreading and aggressive than normal, so her survival expectations were even lower than normal. This of course made her feel pretty bad and hopeless, and with all of this weighing on her so suddenly and how she knew she was in for a world of hell, no matter what was to happen in the long time, she, after being dropped off back to her school after a rather saddening moment with her parents, she was pretty much just done with the day. The school had given her the day off anyway, which she was rather relieved by, but she didn't really do anything for the rest of that day besides give Logan vague details of the fact that she "had Leukemia", and saying that she wasn't really feeling like being awake right now, and simply passing out for the rest of the day. But it was pretty apparent to anybody she messaged that the results were not good, no matter if it had been severe or not severe Leukemia.

For most of the rest of that day, she simply slept, and the next day, her mood was better but not exactly great, either. In her mental state, because things weren't particularly sounding good with her diagnosis or anything, she already started to write herself a bucket list, writing down the things that she wanted to do in case she died. Even if she didn't, well, it was good to have done them. And if it became clear she was going to die, well, good to have stuff to do when you know your end is coming anyway. Maybe a bit morbid to be doing that a day after you learn you have Leukemia, but nonetheless, she was making herself a list. She came out into the world a bit more, but was a bit quiet and kept the news a secret to anyone who didn't really know anything yet, wanting to keep the news as low profile as possible, for as long as possible. She didn't even tell her friends much more details as of yet, but that is where things begin for the time of day...

Everyone Else
For most of the rest, there wasn't really anything noteworthy that had happened. Some will be mentioned in further detail in another post, but the rest...Well, there wasn't much to really say. Cassandra pretty much just went on about her life, likely complaining about something, and getting angry at at least one person, and likely getting in a debate with at least one other. Wouldn't be surprising if she at least called one person stupid for some idiotic comment they made. Besides that, just other typical Cassandra stuff. Nothing particularly of note. Claudia just got to know Cole better, plus doing some hanging out with her fellow friends, mostly "popular" girls for some reason or other. Not even specifically cheerleaders, just other popular girls. Jenna just did nothing remotely noteworthy, and pretty much just dragged her feet through each and every day. Jolena got to know her roommate better, for the most part. And Lyanna just did almost nothing remotely noteworthy at all. To top it all off, the minor characters also did nothing worth mentioning.

Ariana Donovan
Ariana had a fairly standard reason for being here, and it was simply to hang out by or near the jocks. She was here to also support her friend, Jane, and to just hang out with her other friends Effy and Olivia, but at the same time, she had decided to sit down nearish the jocks, even if to give them random glances here and there. Some of them did know her, after all, from past...well...make out sessions, in various different places. But a lot of time in locker rooms. So she wanted to let them know that she was in fact here again for this school year, which they probably knew by now, but she still hadn't made that obvious. Maybe it could even lead to something after the game, who knows.

Eventually, she had found herself a seat, and settled in. From there, she waited, and watched members of their football team, eyeing them in case they glanced her way or not. If they did, she would give them sly smiles, and looking a bit flirty with them all in the same. And that was pretty much what she did to pass the time at the moment.

Callandra Clyne
The time for the football game had arrived, and while Callandra wasn't hugely into sports herself, she had decided to show up anyway, to familiarize herself with all the things related to the schools culture. And there was something to say about team spirit, anyway, and it was rather infectious. Mostly, she just wanted to get to know people, and make a presence for herself before she officially decided to run for Freshman Class President. She wanted to appear like she was reliable to come to these events. And she just wanted to get to know the people and the teams anyway. It was a good thing to do. Not that she could particularly get to know the team yet, as they were getting ready for the game and not really in an accessible area for the crowds, she still was here to learn what she could.

Where she ended up sitting was near the Blake Holsey High School Seawolves, or as near as she reasonably could as presumably they were by themselves in an area on some benches, like the usual. Nonetheless, she sat as near as she could, just because she felt like it and wanted to help with that sort of team spirit by being near the team in general. And maybe give some of the members a passing glance if possible. Because why not? Life was all about the experiences and having fun, after all. So she may as well mess around for the fun of it.

Ella Birkett
Currently, instead of going to the sports game, as she didn't have a ton of interest in it, Ella had decided to hang out with Logan. Logan didn't seem to show much interest in the game, either, which was good for her as it gave her a way to have something to do while the game was going on. What ended up happening was that her and Logan had decided to go on a walk to the park, and she pretty much told him that she would explain everything further than she had so far, since she had been rather vague this whole time so far, and just rather down in general. She wanted to be more clear to him and explain things than she had, though she was still slow about it and sort of eased her way into it more than anything.

After a bit of a quiet walk between the two towards the park, she spoke up. "This is much better than being at that game" She commented casually, trying to start up a conversation now that they were nearing the park. "A lot more peaceful, even in the middle of a city, than the hectic game. I'm not huge into the sport anyway, but with everything going on, I couldn't really handle it, you know? This is a lot better" She continued, seeming rather calm and relaxed, despite the situation at hand. Of course, she did plan to go to the party with Logan later, even if just to see what it was like because of her current mental state of just doing unusual things. There was no guarantee that would last long.

Lyanna Chambers
Lyanna had decided to go to the football game. She wasn't really one to actually get that into sports, but she wanted to go to such an important game, anyway. And it was an excuse to actually hang out and not just sit around at school doing nothing. She didn't really have any friend yet to talk to, but still. She thought of getting food, but first decided to find somewhere to sit and await the beginning of the games. And maybe she could find someone to talk to in the same time. Not entirely likely, but nonetheless, she could see what would happen. And so she sat somewhere random...

Victoria Strummer
Victoria was sitting on the bed, her legs off of the side of it and Eric sitting down in the same way next to her. There seemed to be a nervous and awkward tension between the two of them. Victoria was staring forward for a moment, and glanced towards Eric, saying "So, what should we do?", but the last word was cut short as Eric had leaned in and connected his lips with hers. It didn't seem like she spent much time of being cut off guard, responding back to Eric's advances pretty quickly, kissing him in return. The kissing seemed to become pretty passionate fast, and Victoria started to lay back against the bed, their lips locked this whole time as she did. Their kissing resumed once they had gotten into better positions on the bed, with Eric above her and her laying down on her back. They continued their heavy kissing, until Eric had decided to start kissing her on the neck in all the right places. She closed her eyes, taking in the sensations that were going through her at what Eric was doing, realizing in this moment that this is what she had wanted for a while now. That she had felt this feeling for months, and never acted upon it. And now it was finally happening...

Then, Victoria woke up with a gasp, bolting straight up rather quickly. She seemed to take a moment to realize what she had just been dreaming about, and immediately got embarrassed for herself. There was nobody around to be embarrassed with, but she was still embarrassed as a whole as she realized that had just happened. On top of that, she felt rather turned on from that dream...Which wasn't very surprising, but it didn't really help her current situation. She decided to quickly get out of bed, and tried to distract herself from her dream but getting herself dressed in her room.

This did not entirely work, and for the rest of the day, she tried her hardest not to come off as awkward around Eric. She had already felt a little awkward around Eric since that one night, but this just made things even more awkward than they already were. Also those hormonal feelings that she was feeling did NOT help at all when she was around Eric. But of course, nothing happened, and she made it through the day without any real problems for the time being, despite just feeling a little strange.

Victoria had of course shown up for the game when that time of day had come around. While she still hadn't completely gotten into sports herself as of yet, she was here to support Eric. And the more that she showed up anyway, the more likely that she would get into it, or at least get into the team spirit of things even if she wasn't that knowledgeable on the game itself. Maybe she would start to learn all of that, too, though. Who knows. Nonetheless, she was here in support of Eric, and here with his parents, and that was enough for her. As far as what she had decided to wear here, she had gone fairly casual. This outfit, bag, and glasses, but with this jacket over the top so she didn't get too chilly, as this time of year was when Washington typically began to, most of the time, transition into fall weather, and it was also Washington in general and it could still get into the low to mid 50's at night anyway.

After Eric had presumably set off to get ready with the rest of the team, Victoria found her way into the stands with his parents, them finding a good place to sit down. At that point, she simply waited for things to begin, and talked to Eric's parents about various different things in the meantime.

Everyone Else
When it came to all the other characters of note, they tended to all not show up, and were doing other things at the current time. April was likely hanging out with Seth, talking about this or that, and to her surprise, convincing Seth to go to the teen party later tonight. She didn't really think that he would want to go, but in the end, she got him to. Of course, she had her own personal reasons for wanting to go, but she had to wonder if Seth was simply going for her. Maybe to make sure she was safe, or something.

Cassandra's reasoning's for not going to the football team was simply that she found sports a "fucking waste of time" and so had absolutely no reason to go. She also found the whole obsessive culture behind sports teams and the cheer squad to be one of the worst things about school in general, so why on Earth WOULD she want to waste her time with such drivel? There was literally absolutely no reason why she would want to spend her time there, so she simply spent it at the mostly empty school, besides the others that may have been staying back, doing the usual smoking of hers and listening to some form of metal. This time actually less aggressive metal than normal. She was hanging out near the front of the school, though trying to be semi discreet with not blatantly showing anybody that she was smoking. Though most of the school was distracted at the moment, so that made things easy...

For the rest, it was more simple. Claudia was also not huge on sports, though being associated with the popular sorts, she almost thought of going, but in the end decided to just relax instead. Jenna was likely depressed in her room like normal, and Jolena was out with one of her friends at a music store.

Minor Characters
Elaine and Jane were both at the football game, for seemingly obvious reasons, as they were a part of the cheer squad and both wanted to definitely be here for the team spirit. Especially Elaine, in fact. She was still super excited about just being in the cheer squad, so you can imagine her joy at representing actual games for the teams and not just doing the Assembly. Jane was glad, too, but she seemed to take it a lot more seriously. Not that Elaine didn't, but she showed it less, as she showed her excitement on her face while Jane seemed more serious at the moment. Until she was cheering up the crowd, of course. Elaine would probably do the opposite, and get a little more focused and serious once they begin, but of course under reasonable levels as you didn't exactly want to overly serious as a CHEERleader. They were both on the sidelines, waiting for things to begin like the rest of them were, and that was about it at the moment. Though Jane was casually talking to some of the others. Elaine however currently was not.

For Jasmine, well, I think you could probably guess. She was here mostly to film the event. Though she also was a big fan of team spirit and getting caught up in the cheer of the crowds when a game began, so she was also here just for the event in itself. But she would be watching said event behind a video camera the whole time. That was pretty much a given. But alas, she would have the entire event on film, and that was good with her.

Effy and Olivia were pretty much here to support Jane. Effy wasn't particularly interested in the sport herself, but figured she may as well hang out with the closest thing she had to any real friends, beyond just the random person here and there. Olivia did pretty much the same, though she did like the games to some extent. But for the most part, found them rather overwhelming with all the people and excitement. Despite what you might think, that didn't actually appeal to her as much as you might expect, even though she had hosted parties in the past. Beyond that, they weren't doing a ton that was exciting.

As Malax answered Erin's question about what he's getting, Erin simply stared out out the window, watching the buildings go past. From what she heard, he was hoping to get some songs to sample. Erin was interested in this, especially when he brought up that if you have the right ear you could use it to improve her song. Something she knew all too well, especially due to her favourite genre of music using it a lot, but it was also something she experimented with back when she was in her band, having their only original song (or, rather, a jam session) start off with a bit of Bad Taste (more specifically, Derek saying "Eat lead, sucker!"). She then turned around and said. "Sounds good, bro. I don't know if they'll have any records there since I only had a quick look on Google Maps and didn't get a good enough look to see if it just sold music stuff or records as well. We'll see, aye?"

And then Malax asked her what she was going to get. "Some bass strings. I don't really wanna waste money on an amp and I might get some strings now so I don't have to worry about getting some later." Erin simply replied. After all, it was pretty much the reason why she wanted to go down there but she figured that, while she was there, she might as well look around for things. Even if she can't afford it, it might be a good idea to have a quick look and see if anything catches her eye, just so she could go back to the store and get it once she had the money. But then she had an idea. If Malax saw something he would like and she could afford it (or at the very least chip in), it could be a way to not only help him make music but it could also be a way cement their friendship. "Though I might shout you something, bro. Don't know if I can afford it so we might end up splitting it if you want something."

Once they got off the bus, they carried their conversation on a bit, with him eventually asking if she's even been off campus. "Well I didn't teleport into the school from New Zealand!" She said jokingly before going into a serious answer. "Yeah, I went once to get some pizza for me and my roomie; meat feast for her and veggie for me. And because it was a lot easier to go and get it ourselves rather than ask the delivery guy to take it to the school, she gave us a ride in her..." Erin paused briefly as, for a second, she didn't remember what sort of car Blake drove before eventually remembering what it was. "In her Ram, basically. Sorry, forgot for a sec there. But yeah, er... that was the only time so far. What about you?"
