4.5L V8 "Centurion"

Image

DESCRIPTION:
Released first in 1948 as the OL48/8 this engine been around for nearly seventy years and still has some of its more modern variants in production; a true testament to Onator's vision of reliability and durability in those early company days. Admittedly components, fuel systems and valve trains on the O48C8 model have evolved over the years to include more effective and reliable technologies, but what makes this motor stand out from the lot is its simplicity. Those in the market for a clean, tamed V8 should look elsewhere as the O48C8's emission and economy standards meet the bottom line minimum in most countries. However, in off-the-grid places where raw power and durability beat out everything else this motor is quite literally unrivaled. Small power sports manufactures around the world also present a reasonable stake in the O48C8 market as this simple motor is among one of the most easily modded and tuned in the region.

If your company is considering the O48C8, but would prefer higher emission, economy and technological standards than perhaps consider the O78C8.

BASE SPECIFICATIONS:

VARIANTS:
DESCRIPTION:
Released in 2008 to contend with the developing fuel crisis of the time, the EconoLine is considered the most technologically advanced O48 model yet (take that positively or negatively at your own will). In reality the EconoLine O48 provides a much appreciated fuel economy relief to nations without cheap access to oil and is more of a cheaper alternative to the O78C8 or the O78 EconoLine.

SPECIFICATIONS:

Power: 200hp (149kw) @ 5500 RPM
Torque: 203 lb-ft (275 Nm) @3700 RPM

1,400 NSD (for contracts totaling 4500 units or more)

DESCRIPTION:
Released in 2006 ahead of the 60th Anniversary of the 048 model series; the Big Ridge was given a slightly more advanced Fuel Injection system and was accurately tuned to provide nearly twice as much power as the first 048C model to roll off the assembly line. This extra power boost was taken well by 4x4 enthusiasts and remains in limited production as a crate motor.

SPECIFICATIONS:

Power: 250hp (186kw) @ 6500 RPM
Torque: 252 lb-ft (343 Nm) @4000 RPM
Valve-train: 24-Valve Single Overhead Camshaft

DESCRIPTION:
Released in 2015, the GT Series III Turbo follows the roots of the Series I and II and provides a pure power advantage over other O48 models. Much like the GT Series of the past, the Series III only relies on a computer for operational component checking and everything else is purely analog controls. Nothing's more satisfying than that right?

SPECIFICATIONS:

Power: 320hp (238kw) @ 7000 RPM
Torque: 224 lb-ft (303 Nm) @5400 RPM
Valve-train: 32-Valve Dual Overhead Camshaft
Redline:7200 RPM

Fuel Aspiration: Direct Injection

UNIT COST

Per Unit: 3,800 NSD
Contracted per Unit: 2,500 NSD (for contracts totaling 1000 units or more)
2,200 NSD (for contracts totaling 2000 units or more)
2,000 NSD (for contracts totaling 4500 units or more)

DESCRIPTION:
Released in 1998 as part of the 50 year Anniversary of the O58, the 5.0L Flatback includes an increased displacement of .5L to the original design. Flatback models produce over 300hp and are a favorite of motor racers and 4x4 enthusiasts alike. Although rated to produce less power than the GT Series III, Flatbacks are prime candidates for supercharging to gain that extra ground over the GT Series without turbo lag; albeit at the cost of gas.

SPECIFICATIONS:

Power: 300hp (224kw) @ 5800 RPM
Torque: 322 lb-ft (436 Nm) @3500 RPM
Valve-train: 16-Valve Single Overhead Camshaft

1.0L V8 "Corsair"

Image

DESCRIPTION:
Released first in 1957, the O57 was envisioned as a replacement for smaller inline motors that exclusively fit in small city cars of the era. When first released the O57 had a dismal 85hp, which although tiny by today's standards was relatively close to the 128hp of the base line O48C8 of the day especially considering the vast displacement difference between the two. Unfortunately the O57 quickly fell out of it's short-lived popularity and production ceased in 1963. The reputation for the ill-fated motor lived on as an oddity until the 80s when chief engineer Augustus Cipius fitted a turbo charger to a model left in stock as a side project. The result was impressive, boosting the power to nearly 140hp. An improved model was constructed and released in 82' with a stock 200hp and was almost immediately used by automaker Sirius in their mid-engined Mach Five Fastback as the most powerful motor which could fit in the tight space granted by early mid-engine planning.

These days the O57 is highly revered for its incredible power despite being only 1.0L in displacement and especially for its fantastic fuel economy; becoming a quick favorite for endurance racers world wide.

BASE SPECIFICATIONS:

Power: 200hp (150kw) @ 8500 RPM
Torque: 131 lb-ft (177 Nm) @6400 RPM
Valve-train: 24-Valve Dual Overhead Camshaft
Redline:9000 RPM
Fuel Type: Regular Unleaded Petrol
Fuel Aspiration: Multi-Point Fuel Injection (Base Model)

UNIT COST

Per Unit: 4,600 NSD
Contracted per Unit: 4,000 NSD (for contracts totaling 2000 units or more)
2,800 NSD (for contracts totaling 4500 units or more)

VARIANTS:
DESCRIPTION:
Released in 2015 as an overhaul of the 280hp GTX 2000 variant, the GTX 3000 is by far the most powerful 1.0L engine on the market, pushing out an outstanding 315hp at RPMs so high it rivals sports bikes. Unlike the O57 SM5 Turbo (the base model), the GTX 3000 is not to be used lightly as is more situated for the track than the open road, but that hasn't kept the motor from being used in some high-end sports cars for its unequaled power-to-weight ratio and fantastic engine noise as it revs into the quintuple digits.

SPECIFICATIONS:

Power: 315hp (325kw) @ 10300 RPM
Torque: 191 lb-ft (259 Nm) @8500 RPM
Valve-train: 32-Valve Dual Overhead Camshaft
Redline:10500 RPM
Fuel Type: Premium Unleaded Petrol
Fuel Aspiration: Direct Fuel Injection (DFI)

UNIT COST

Per Unit: 5,000 NSD
Contracted per Unit: 4,300 NSD (for contracts totaling 2000 units or more)
3,600 NSD (for contracts totaling 4500 units or more)

5.0L V12 "Runner"

Image

DESCRIPTION:
Released first in 1963 as a demonstrator intended to coincide with the tiny O57C8, the O63C12 was another attempt at making a small but powerful motor. Incidentally, the O63's launch came as Onator ceased production of the O57, but nevertheless the motor caught the attention of the crowds; just not many manufacturers. Sirius, the famous Merickian sports car manufacturer which went defunct in the late 80s was the only major company to take interest for a more powerful version of their Mach 3 Coupe, but even that was just a minor contract and Onator ceased production with nearly 400 examples left unsold in stock. Just over a decade later, however, off-road truck manufacturer Terra Carrae purchased several to test in their new Centurion II vehicle even despite Onator producing an entirely new engine just for the vehicle (the O78C8 Cent II) and ended up releasing several upgraded Centurion II models with the O63, riving the engine.

Fast forward to the early 1990s when defense contractor Fargoe Armored Vehicles won a contract for a new light tank for the Merickian Legion. Aiming to produce a highly mobile tank they required a high power output, but also at a reduced weight and the 700hp O63 seemed to fit the bill. A specially produced variant was creating putting out just over 900hp and the design stuck. It is this powerful iteration of the O63 which is now being offered to your company. A powerful V12 compact into large V8 territory, whats not to like?

BASE SPECIFICATIONS:

Power: 900hp (671kw) @ 6000 RPM
Torque: 558 lb-ft (756 Nm) @5600 RPM
Valve-train: 36-Valve Single Overhead Camshaft
Redline:6500 RPM
Fuel Type: Regular Unleaded Petrol
Fuel Aspiration: Multi-Point Fuel Injection

UNIT COST

Per Unit: 4,500 NSD
Contracted per Unit: 4,000 NSD (for contracts totaling 1000 units or more)
3,800 NSD (for contracts totaling 3000 units or more)
3,200 NSD (for contracts totaling 4500 units or more)

4.8L V8 "Centurion II"

Image

DESCRIPTION:
Unlike most other motors available for purchase, the O78C8 was actually designed with one car in mind; the Terra Carrae Centurion II (from which the engine is named). However, this has certainly not limited the production and sale of the O78 series as it is currently one of the most produced engines Onator has to offer. O78 takes its design from the earlier O48, but offers some more advanced features which has enabled the motor to be constantly upgraded for rising fuel economy and emissions standards (along with a slight increase in displacement). O78 engines are offered in a wide variety of variants from the fuel-sipping EconoLine to the monstrous Big Ridge RP V. Furthermore, if none of the O78 variants suits your needs precisely than please ask your Onator sales representative about creating your own variant. Onator is very open to custom variants of the O78 series and this contract is much cheaper and likely to be awarded than a completely custom motor.

BASE SPECIFICATIONS:

Power: 375hp (280kw) @ 6000 RPM
Torque: 332 lb-ft (450 Nm) @5000 RPM
Valve-train: 16-Valve Single Overhead Camshaft
Redline:6200 RPM
Fuel Type: Regular Unleaded Petrol
Fuel Aspiration: Multi-Point Fuel Injection

UNIT COST

Per Unit: 3,500 NSD
Contracted per Unit: 2,600 NSD (for contracts totaling 1000 units or more)
2,100 NSD (for contracts totaling 2000 units or more)
1,900 NSD (for contracts totaling 4500 units or more)

VARIANTS:
DESCRIPTION:
Released in 2012 as one of the last, but most advanced, of the EconoLine series of engine variants, the O78 EconoLine is a variable cylinder engine and operates either with four, six or all eight cylinders depending on if power is required or by manual input. Paired with a good 8 or 9 speed transmission the O78 Econoline can provide nearly the fuel economy of a small four cylinder but still push out plenty of raw power when the job calls for it.

SPECIFICATIONS:

Power: 300hp (223kw) @ 5500 RPM
Torque: 203 lb-ft (275 Nm) @3700 RPM
Valve-train: 16-Valve Single Overhead Camshaft
Redline:5800 RPM
Fuel Type: Regular Unleaded Petrol
Fuel Aspiration: Single-Point Fuel Injection

UNIT COST

Per Unit: 3,800 NSD
Contracted per Unit: 2,900 NSD (for contracts totaling 1000 units or more)
2,600 NSD (for contracts totaling 2000 units or more)
2,000 NSD (for contracts totaling 4500 units or more)

DESCRIPTION:
Released in 1998, the 4.2L Small Block is the first major attempt by Onator engineers to level down the fuel consumption of the O78. Although the EconoLine has replaced the 4.2L as the more economic choice many still choose to use it over the more complex and more expensive EconoLine variant, giving the Small Block lasting life as a crate motor and among small motor sports companies.

SPECIFICATIONS:

Power: 280hp (186kw) @ 5500 RPM
Torque: 270 lb-ft (366 Nm) @3600 RPM
Valve-train: 16-Valve Single Overhead Camshaft
Redline:6800 RPM
Fuel Type: Regular Unleaded Petrol
Fuel Aspiration: Single-Point Fuel Injection

UNIT COST

Per Unit: 3,400 NSD
Contracted per Unit: 2,500 NSD (for contracts totaling 1000 units or more)
2,000 NSD (for contracts totaling 2000 units or more)
1,800 NSD (for contracts totaling 4500 units or more)

DESCRIPTION:
Released in 2017, the brand-new GTX 480 model provides serious power for motor sports or high-stress environments. Providing 100 more horsepower than its leading V8 competitor (the O48C8 GT Series III Turbo), the GTX 480 packs a serious punch without the side effects of a Turbocharger. Comes primed and ready with three racing chips pre-installed and can be easily fit to almost any transmission.

SPECIFICATIONS:

Power: 420hp (313kw) @ 7000 RPM
Torque: 250 lb-ft (338 Nm) @5800 RPM
Valve-train: 32-Valve Dual Overhead Camshaft
Redline:7300 RPM
Fuel Type: Premium Unleaded Petrol
Fuel Aspiration: Direct Injection

UNIT COST

Per Unit: 4,000 NSD
Contracted per Unit: 3,100 NSD (for contracts totaling 1000 units or more)
2,800 NSD (for contracts totaling 2000 units or more)
2,200 NSD (for contracts totaling 4500 units or more)

DESCRIPTION:
Released in 1992, the "Big Ridge" RP V variant is the oldest variant in production, but it isn't going anywhere soon. A slight displacement increase allows the RP V to reach 400hp, but more impressive is its outstanding 380 ft-lb of torque at 4000 RPM. This low speed brute of an engine gives even some diesels a run for their money and is a offroader's dream. Power!

SPECIFICATIONS:

Power: 400hp (299kw) @ 5500 RPM
Torque: 380 lb-ft (515 Nm) @4100 RPM
Valve-train: 24-Valve Single Overhead Camshaft

4.3L Inline 6

DESCRIPTION:
Starting in the early 2000s, Onator set out to develop a family of three Inline motors to broaden the company's market outreach. Of the three prototypes two were eventually developed and released just a year apart: O205I4 and O206I6. Both motors were originally intended for sedans, sports cars and SUVs, but excellent performance results have opened up the possibility of usage around the board. The larger of the two, O206I6, was undoubtedly the best performer of the two even though expectations were originally low. O206 traces its roots to this dismal O51I6 which was a massive market flop and scar on the reputation of Onator for years to come. Avoiding another charade of similar sorts, Onator cancelled the 3-cylinder EI3 and devoted its development team to the O206 after only the O205 program showed progress in a 2004 review.

The results? Outstanding. O206 provides 265 raw horsepower (197kw!) from a small, lightweight alternative to large V8s. Capable of doing plenty of jobs unaltered, the O206 current comes only in the fantastic base model.

BASE SPECIFICATIONS:

Power: 265hp (197kw) @ 6000 RPM
Torque: 271 lb-ft (353 Nm) @4500 RPM
