Forums are experimental, since we have quite a bit of people now, so I'm trying to streamline communications and such.
Before you say 'hey, an alliance!', notice that we expect you to be active enough. When duty calls, we expect you to be able to come forth and be ready, or have a good reason as to why you aren't.
This is the Conglomerate. It's a conglomeration interested in protecting its own members. I've made it OOC because I wanted to keep the IC label of the Conglomerate more inclusive, small and more tightly wound than a normal alliance, which is usually looser. It's an MT group of nations tied together in an fairly informal but strong alliance in the interest of defending and projecting each member's capability as a unified entity. Imagine it as an empire, really, and each member is a province. Any nation under attack is required to act in accordance to defend his fellow nations, and any offensive campaigns that a nation undergoes, should they request it, will be met with compliance to the others. In other words, it's a defensive and offensive military alliance, but also with a focus on economic strengthening.

There isn't an official charter, as the thread I linked is where it is all coming together. So what am I looking for?
Militarily capable nations, but not active to the level where they go to war so often that other members of the Conglomerate will be forced to enter. If you're trigger happy, it'll be difficult for us to accept you.
A good RPer. I use the word 'good' loosely, but I want generally basic punctuation, proper use of dialogue, numbers, imagery and so forth. You don't need to be an established RPer, but at least show me that you can RP. If you're unsure, send me a link. If you're sure, you don't need to send me a link, but if I'm unsure, I will ask you for one.
A realistic view of events. Be able to understand the repurcussions properly (if someone in the Conglomerate goes to war, you will too, unless you have a damn good reason). Understand that largely more anti-democratic nations will drift to this for security and the chance to get a little war in. Although we will not discriminate on democratic nations applying, we want you to understand that it is not in the interest of government ideologies, but rather Self-Preservation.
In other words, the point of the Conglomerate is we watch your back, you watch ours.
Because it's not really helpful, I guess, I'll just post up a template, and see how that moves from there:
