Task Force Atlas Personnel File

Image

Name: Classified
Alias: The Director
Unit: Task Force Atlas
Role: Director of Task Force Atlas
Age: Classified
Height: Classified
Weight: Classified
Birthplace: Classified
Biographical Information: The Director's past is an unknown until his appointment as the civilian director of TFA. It had been decided some time into TFA's organization that a civilian should be the final authority on Atlas' missions and development. The Director was chosen as that authority. His decisions as the director had been questionable, and some personnel that were in on some of his more private operations decided he had several hidden agendas. He is ultimately credited to the development of the SALI AI as well as research and development into other proprietary equipment. After the breakup of TFA, the Director was dismissed. His current whereabouts are unknown, despite the power of several countries and organizations searching for him.
Psychological Profile: The Director is emotionally detached and shows signs of a lack of empathy. It has been hinted that several research projects that were carried on in TFA's R&D department would have broken several international human rights laws had they ever been shown the light of day, including the development of the SALI AI. The Director always seems to have a larger plan, an angle in which others are just a pawn of his final goals, but this has yet to be confirmed.

Not Hurty.

Hurty has no need for puppets, only meatbags.

Anowa offers the same point, albeit more aggressively.

Name of Nation:
The Federation of Colonies

Name of Group:
Colonial Federal Army (CFA) S.W.O.R.D (Special Weapons, Operations, and Reconnaissance Detachment), or better known as just SWORD.

Name of Outfit:
SWORD 3rd Operations Group (Worldwide), 6th Operations Squadron (Multi-Purpose), (3OG/6OS).
Codename: "Wolves"

Detailed Outfit Loadout:
Rifles:
- R-12 Tactical Operations Rifle
Description:
The 12 generation of TacOps Rifles, the R-12 was designed by the Trident Corporation upon receiving a contract from the Federation Defense Ministry to design the weapon. The rifle, considered by most within SWORD as the best Special Operations rifle in history, is gas-operated assault rifle that has high modification specifications in terms of attachments that can serve many mission-specific needs. The R-12 uses the Barrage 5.56×45mm cartridge, which is manufactured by Trident; and fires at a rate of 525 rounds a minute with a velocity of 2,630 ft/s. The most effective range of the rifle has been found to be approximately 660 yd, or 600 in meters. The mag size is 25 rounds a mag, 32 with an extended clip.

- GWR-5 Ground War Rifle
Description:
The GWR-5 Ground War Rifle is the 5th generation of the Ground War series. Another rifle designed by the Trident Corporation, this rifle is the standard issue-rifle used by CFA regulars. Another gas-operated rifle, the GWR-5 is air cooled and magazine fed, equipped with 30 rounds a mag. The GWR-5 is equipped with a telescoping-stock and it's attachment set is comparable to the U.S Army's M4 Carbine. Like with the R-12 TacOps Rifle, the GWR-5 uses the Barrage 5.56x45mm cartridge and fires at the rate of 600 rounds a minute at a velocity of 2,900 ft/s . The optimal distance of the GWR-5 has been found to be about 550 yd, or 500 in meters.

- CR-2 Assault Carbine

Description:
The CR-2 Assault Carbine is the 2nd generation of the CR-class carbine. The CR-2 was actually designed in-house by the Federation Defense Ministry Special Projects Department, meant to be the replacement to the GWR. However, during the design process, Trident Corporation released the GWR-5, which fixed many of the design flaws that plagued the GWR-4. The finished product, the CR-1, was largely based off the GWR-5 platform but with several modifications to the attachment system, as well as the gas operated firing system, allowing for flexible mission-use. Available to both SWORD and the CFA Regulars, the CR-2 (a slight design improvement over the CR-1) is used by both services on a special-issue basis. The carbine uses, once again, the 5.56x45mm Barrage cartridge, with a firing rate of 700–900 rounds/min at a velocity of 788 m/s. The optimal distance has been found to be 300 m

SMG:
- RSG-11 Sub Machine Gun:
Description:
The only SMG in use by the CFA, the RSG-11 was designed and manufactured by Raxon Industries upon receiving a contract from the Federation Defense Ministry. The reason why the RSG-11 is the only SMG in use by the CFA is actually a question of both the reliability of the RSG-11 as well as CFA combat doctrine. The RSG design has proven to be the most reliable SMG ever issued to the CFA, it's combat record is practically unblemished, and has been modified little since it's 1st generation design (Minor changes were made to attachment systems and aesthetics). On the matter of doctrine, CFA combat doctrine dictates ranged combat over close quarters (except in the case of surgical strikes and Special Operations), making the RSG-11 of little use to CFA Regulars in the field. However, the RSG-11 is in wide use by SWORD and it's sister branches. The RSG-11 has a roller-delayed blowback, closed bolt action; it also fires a 9×19mm Optim cartridge (manufactured by the Trident Corporation, ironically enough), with a rate of fire at 700 rounds/min at a velocity of 1,312 ft/s. The optimal distance has been found to be about 100 m.

Pistols:
- P-5 Army Pistol:
Description:
The P-5 Army Pistol is the 5th generation of Army Pistols. As the name suggests, this pistol is standard issue for the CFA, with some minor use in the other branches of the Federal Armed Services. The Army Pistol was designed and manufactured by Raxon Industries, makers of the RSG-11 Sub Machine Gun. The pistol is a semi-automatic, using the 9×19mm Optim cartridge like the RSG-11.

- MP-516 Machine Pistol:
Description:
The MP-516 Machine Pistol is, like the RSG-11, the only weapon in it's classification. Again, this is only a matter of CFA Regular doctrine; the Special Operations community of the Federal Armed Services takes a much different approach when it comes to tactics. The MP-516 is available to CFA Regulars but sees most of it's action in Spec Ops. The MP-516 is manufactured by the Trident Corporation when the corp wanted something to compete with the P-5 Army Pistol, with the 9x19mm Optim once again serving as the primary cartridge for this weapon. It has a velocity of 1,181 ft/s, a 60-round magazine, and iron sights. The recent 5th generation has added on an attachment system that allows for the attachment of scopes and others.

- S-1 TacOps Pistol:
Description:
As the name implies, the S-1 is somewhat related to the R-12 Tactical Operations Rifle; the primary research and development team from the Trident Corporation known as "Section-One" designed both weapons. The similarities between the two continue in the attachment system, where the S-1 has a high modification system similar to the R-12...in terms of what can be attached, of course. The S-1 is mostly used within the Federal Armed Services Spec Ops community, with some limited use by CFA Regular officers. It has a 9-round clip, with a velocity of 2,630 ft/s.

LMG:
- AMW-1 Machine Weapon:
Description:
The AMW-1 is by no means the only LMG in use by the CFA; however, it is the only Spec Ops capable LMG currently in service. Though the story is not well known, the original design was actually stolen from the Trident Corporation by Raxon Industries operatives. The ensuing theft and investigation almost sunk the manufacture of the AMW-1, but since the theft could not be proven, Raxon Industries won the rights to produce the weapon and did so. The AMW has been praised for it's high fire rate but criticized for it's lack of long-range accuracy. The AMW is gas-operated, fires the 5.56 Barrage cartridge, and has a velocity of 3,000 ft/s.

SWORD 3OG/6OS Patch

Biography of Outfit:

SWORD Origins:
It all began with the foundation of the Federation, which began with a war. In the past, the Colonies were once owned by a collection of nations that found a large peninsula with many natural resources, then colonized the peninsula. As with all long-range colonies, the Colonies began to feel un-represented by their nations. A loose Federation was formed by these colonies, who demanded a independence. With a stout refusal, the nations banded together in turn and sent in a coalition of troops to bring the colonies back in line. To make a long story short, the coalition failed miserably, losing many troops to the guerrilla tactics of Federation commanders who rose to the task and preformed admirably. The use of small squads to inflict damage on the enemy was the first use of Spec Ops by the CFA. When the CFA was made a formally entity, these squads formed the Special Task Squadrons (STS), the first incarnation of SWORD. The STS was used as a general-purpose special operation unit, preforming border security, anti-terror operations, and the occasional internal security action. This changed with the advent of the Strategic Renewal Act

SWORD:
SWORD was formed after the Strategic Renewal Act. The STS was split into the direct-action focused SWORD and the large target focused CFA Assaulter Battalion. SWORD distinguished itself in the area of tactics and direct-action, becoming a very effective Special Operations unit. The usual tactics gave way to more stealth-based tactics and multi-mission purposes. SWORD has served with distinction in several domestic and international theaters (Operation SOLID LINE, Operation BANSHEE, Operation WALL, and Operation FIRE ARROW. Details about these operations are available on request. WARNING: FORMER DIRECTIVE SUSPENDED UNDER OPORDER 523). SWORD did not have much of a chance to serve in the international stage until the Federation participated in several peacekeeping actions in [REDACTED]. With these, SWORD began participated in more international operations. CFA INTCOM was formed when the Army Regulars began beginning international operations. SWORD high command decided they needed a high-tier international unit, to match the units of other countries. This is where the 2OG/3OS comes in.

3OG/6OS:
The commanders of SWORD had only 2 domestic Operations Groups and their Operations Squadrons. With the international stage being more of a priority, the 3rd Operations Group was formed with an worldwide mission specification. From there, mission specific Operations Squadrons were formed. Some focused on stealth, some focused on ground assaults, etc. The 6th Operations Squad, however, was a deviation from the mission specific format. The 6OS, codenamed "Wolves", were trained in a multi-mission capacity, with each operator possessing a wide skill set. The Wolves have since then earned their codename, being some of the most clever and dangerous operators ever trained by SWORD. Many brilliant commanders have led 6OS, introducing new weapons and ideas that have changed the face and power of the unit. With the newest incarnation of Atlas up and running, SWORD seeks to further the reputation of it's most effective unit.

Bio:
Cryptos Region is a tropical region, exhibiting a Caribbean-like environment. It was in this place that Markus Akron was born, the son of two military parents. The Akrons were careerists, serving a full career within the Federal Armed Services. They both served in the CFA as Regulars. Markus was born during their rotation to the Cryptos Region. From there, Markus traveled around with his parents from base to base, often not seeing them for months at a time as he was mostly cared for by base staff. Interestingly enough, Markus was not bitter toward his parents; rather it was just the opposite. Markus had a large amount of respect for his parents and admired them for what they did. Unfortunately, the Akrons were killed during a security operation in the Neva Region, when Markus was 16 years old. From there, Markus was sent to a military academy, having expressed a wish to join the Federal Armed Services.

In the academy, Markus received prep training for service, specifically for the Colonial Federal Army. With this training, Markus was deep-selected for Officer School when he joined the CFA at age 18. After 6 months of training, Markus joined the CFA as a Second Lieutenant with the First Infantry Group out of the Cryptos Region. First few years of service mostly consisted of training missions and internal security. First saw action during Operation SOLID LINE, when the northern border came under attack by [REDACTED]. Served with distinction, earned three commendations and received a Federal Service Medal. Promoted to First Lieutenant at the age of 24, shortly after the conclusion of SOLID LINE. Nominated and later accepted into SWORD, and served in the 1st Operations Group, 2nd Operations Squadron after training. Once again saw combat at age 27 during Operation FIRE ARROW, the Federation's first international operation against a terrorist force. This time, Markus was given command of a squad, and once again served with distinction. He was wounded, received another Federal Service Medal, and was promoted to Captain.

After the end of FIRE ARROW, Captain Markus was offered command of the brand new 3OG/1OS, and eagerly accepted. Refused promotion to Major at age 30. Transferred over to 6OS. Participated in Operation BANSHEE against the [REDACTED] at age 31. Slated for continued command of 6OS if accepted into Atlas.

Psych Profile:
Captain Akron is an extremely proud officer with a high capability and tactical awareness. He believes in the bigger picture, the overall objective within the objective. He see how wars are fought and how they can change the face of the world. Combat, in Captain Akron's eyes, is a science AND an art, something that requires surgical precision and skill. However, war has changed his view of humanity; he knows that humans are capable of great evils and believes that people are not what they seem at first glance. If you want the Captain's respect, you have to earn it.

Thoughts About Atlas:
"The unfortunate thing about the TF Atlas deal is that we are sort of the unproven rookies. We are most likely the most unproven unit out there, and trust me, it's going to show. These guys are the most elite, proven Tier One operators of some of the most powerful nations on this planet. Luckily, this is also a chance to learn from these units and also show them that we have what it takes. "

Time with Unit:
2 years

Bio:
The Iris Capitol Region is home to the capitol of the Federation, Iris City. Luke Syronis was born in Iris City, his parents being office workers for Raxon Industries. At an early stage, Luke excelled in academics, having top marks in all classes and having a higher intelligent classification than most of his peers. While not the richest family around, the Syronis' never less sent their son to a prestigious private school when he was 14 years old, where he could receive more advanced schooling. At age 18, Luke graduated from the school at the top of his class and received the opportunity to attend the Iris Federal University back in Iris City. While he was there, he received a Bachelor's degree in history at age 21. After which, he dropped out of college and enlisted in the CFA with the rank of Second Lieutenant.

He started off in the 2nd Infantry Battalion, but soon grew bored of that position and requested transfer to the CFA Assualters. Transfer was granted, received 3 month Assualter training and was assigned to a platoon in the 3rd Assualter Battalion. Spent two years in the Assualters,
then was nominated and accepted into SWORD at the age of 23. Assigned to 1st Operations Group, 2nd Operations Squadron. Participated in Operation SOLID LINE and received 3 commendations for heroism while under fire. Served with Lieutenant Markus Akron when Markus was assigned to the unit. Participated in Operation FIRE ARROW, and was promoted to First Lieutenant after the conclusion of FIRE ARROW, at the age of 25. Was assigned to 6OS by special request of Captain Akron. Currently serving as second in command.

Psych Profile:
Extremely intelligent; but not arrogant. He takes pride in the fact that he is a SWORD operator and seeks to best serve the interests of the Federation and be a great soldier. Friends with Captain Akron, no doubt due to the years they served together while in SWORD. Makes friends easily and is quite outgoing. Focuses on the mission when needed and exhibits the need to complete the objective to the best of his ability. For Luke, there is no such thing as failure.

Thoughts about Atlas:
"In my opinion, TF Atlas is the best thing that could ever happen to this unit. We will be serving along with some of the most accomplished Tier One units in the world, and I think that we will prove that we are up to the task."

Home Region:

Physical Description:
- 5"7

- Brown eyes
- Hispanic

Years of Experience:
8 Years

Time with Unit:
2 years

Bio:
The Neva Region is a snowy, winter region that is famous for it's mines. William was born there, the son of miners. A mining accident when Will was 5 left him an orphan. He was placed in a local orphanage, to be forgotten. However, the exact opposite happened. will became a street wise, clever teenager, often running on the wrong side of the law. Will displayed a brilliant and adaptable mind, having high marks in school (when he was there, or course). His ability to blend in, hide, and break into places earned him a reputation as a "ghost". Things really got interesting when He broke into a CFA military base to steal a few rifles at age 18. It was a month before CFA Regulars caught him. Things looked bleak for Will, but unknown to him, a certain Federation agency was monitoring him with great interest: SHADOW (Sabotage, Hacking, and Assassinations Division: Operations and Warfare). After Will broke out of Fort Saga, a CFA military prison, the agency found him and offered Will a job as a field agent. After a year of training, Will was sent on his first mission during Operation SOLID LINE to assassinate enemy leadership.

After SOLID LINE, Will was sent on a whirlwind of international missions, many of which are classified. However, the disbandment of SHADOW and reorganization into the Department of Espionage and Defense (DED) when he was 23 left Will out of a job. Undeterred, he contacted a few of his CFA contacts and managed to receive an assignment with SWORD, who promised to put his skills to good use. He was posted to many different Operations Groups until his current assignment with the 6OS.

Psych Profile:
William Carmen, perhaps better known as "Spectre", has rightly earned his codename. He seems...different, to the rest of the world, like he is just passing through it and not apart of it. He is far from a cold-blooded killer , however. He has just learned to put aside his personal feeling in preference to those of the mission. This is his way of coping with a lot of the things he has seen over the years; what with being a former SHADOW operative, he must have had to commit murderous actions in the name of national security. The special operations side of him fits in very well. While he does keep to himself on a minor level, he has established a good rapport with his fellow team members. It is worth noting here that Will seems to have a high respect for Captain Akron. In short... operator Spectre is a complicated, multi-perspective man.

Thoughts about Atlas:
"Honestly, I will have a hard time trusting Atlas. They were shut down for a reason, and it was most likely a good one. I say this because my experience with SHADOW and it's disbandment left a bitter taste in my mouth. I understand that this is a Tier One unit and not a spy shop, and I will trust them with the mission and work with the other operators, but that doesn't mean I will automatically jump with joy to be here. The biggest thing is the lack of information of why they were shut down....maybe I should talk to Cleverman and Cardnial about this... "

Bio:
John Elliston was also born in the Iris Capitol Region, and was adopted by scientist parents who both worked at the Iris University Research Department. He was, at first, an average kid. Receive normal marks at school, did nothing very extraordinary...until he got his hands on a computer for the first time. He taught himself how to operate and take apart computers, making a few upgrades to the hardware and software.
He eventual learned the dark art of hacking, repeatedly hacking his school's mainframe. It was these skills that attracted the CFA CyberDivision when he turned 18. He enlisted, as a Private, with the CFA 7th Cyber Warfare Battalion for a number of years until he began to show interest in SWORD.

The CO of the 7th CWB nominated John for SWORD. When he completed the training to become a SWORD operator, he was first assigned to 1OG/4OS as a technical support specialist. Began rotating through the different squads, eraning several promotions until he worked his way up to Master Sergeant. Served in Operations SOLID LINE, FIRE ARROW, and WALL.

Psych Profile:
If there was a...average...person in this squad, Master Sergeant Elliston would be that person, at least personality wise. His time in SWORD has been exemplary, and he has served his squads with distinction. It is worth noting that he is a very capable operator and has quite a few kills on his record. His experience and skill with tech make him a very valuable asset.

Thoughts about Atlas:

He was soon promoted to Sergeant, and began serving SWORD with distinction during Operations FIRE ARROW, WALL, and SOLID LINE. Ethan has received advanced training in explosives and anti-vehicle weapons. Captain Akron once observed one of these training sessions and requested that Ethan be transferred to his unit.

Psych Profile:
Ethan Nasmir has no extraordinary disorders or problems. He gets along with people very well and is very good at his job. Has no problems following orders.

He requested transfer into SWORD and soon rotated into the 6OS

RP Example:
Quick note: I used to be an NS RPer, back in the day, but that was in another life. I tried finding an old post of mine, but no dice. Here is a short story instead:
Federation of Colonies, Neva Region
3OG/6OS Operations Center "Wolves Den"
Fort McClaren
Major Adam "Control" Reger, 6OS CO

It wasn't strange to see Major Elliston in the Operations Center without an active operation in progress, at least not for 6OS. It was the CO's habit to just pace around in front of the display monitors that crowded the front wall of the Ops Center. One screen showed surveillance feeds, another showed images from another part of the country, and another screen showed the progress of another SWORD operation taking place in another part of the world. Elliston, codename "Control" due to his CO status, was smoking his customary cigar, staring at the other SWORD operation in place and pacing. From what he could tell from the thermal feed, it seemed to be going very well. From what Elliston knew, sister squadron 4OS was smoking out another terrorist hideout in the Northern Border Mountains. The Major wasn't worried; he knew that 4OS CO Colonel Kyle Swanson was an effective officer and had chosen some great operators. Once again, the op was going well...

Almost textbook...

He stopped. Something had just happened; the feed showing several SWORD operators down. It appeared that an explosion had taken place within the target structure. Multiple hostiles were closing in on the downed operators. Those SWORD operators still mobile were returning fire. Muzzle flashed lit up the thermal feed. Elliston stared at the screen.

"S**t!" Elliston swore. This was getting worse by the minute. He hurried over to a workstation and access a secure line from one of the terminals. The Major dialed the 4OS Ops Center. A panicked aide answered.

"Sir, please hold for a sec--...."

"Get me the Colonel on the line." Elliston said, cutting the aide off.

A few minute later, Colonel Kyle Swanson was on the line.

"Major, I guess you've heard what's going on?"

"Yes sir, Colonel. Was watching the shared feed here at 6OS. How bad is it, sir?"

"It's bad, Adam. Really bad. Most of the operators we sent in are down, with the rest fighting for their lives. If they don't get support soon, they're dead. I'm calling General Mason to ask for some Assualters."

Elliston did the math in his head. Whatever reinforcements Mason could muster wouldn't make it in time. He thought about how close the AO was to the Wolves Den...

"Colonel," he said, "I know that I have a lower rank and have no authority over your decision, but I can have 6OS in the AO within 20 minutes, with your permission."

Colonel Swanson didn't say anything for a moment. Then,

"Permission granted, Major. Save my men."

Barracks, Wolves Den
Captain Markus "Alpha" Akron
+5 minutes after 4OS hostile contact

The Barracks was like it was during dead time. Will was asleep on his bunk; Ethan was cleaning his AMW; Sanis and John were discussing some techno stuff; and Luke, the team's resident academic, was reading. Markus himself was examining his R-12 TacOps Rifle, messing around with a holographic sight at one of the workbenches that lined the west wall of the Barracks. Rounds of Barrage cartridges were lined across the worktable's surface.

It was nice, really. The work kept Markus busy, kept his hands moving. There was something calming about all of this, he supposed; his way to relax. Some people played video games, some people slept...

Markus, he just tinkered with his weapons. He clicked the sight into place and took aim at the ceiling. Finally, the red dot was working again. Last mission, the sight had received a nasty knock and stopped working. Considering that it was an expensive sight and he had to pay for it himself, Markus decided to see if Cleverman- John - could fix it. The techno geek worked his magic, and now the sight was working well again.

Woot.

Markus's SIGNALMAN unit, laying on the table, began buzzing. He grabbed the main unit, clicked it to his belt, and put the earpiece in his ear. "Go for Alpha," he said.

"Alpha, this is Control." came Elliston's gruff voice. "You have been greenlit for mission, QRF action is required, soldiers under attack. Full briefing will be given in-flight. Codename for operation is DELTA FROST. Get your men moving, now."

"Roger, Control. Mission greenlight confirmed. Alpha out." Markus clicked off the SIGNALMAN and turned to where the others where at.

"Wolves! We are greenlit for mission-codename DELTA FROST. Immediate QRF action is requested. Briefing will be in-flight to AO. Get moving! You have five minutes!"

***
+11 minutes after 4OS hostile contact
Operation DELTA FROST in progress...

By the time the Wolves were geared up, a HC-2 helicopter was spinning up on the landing pad. They were dressed in the winter version of the BDU-13, which kept them warm even in the coldest conditions. Spectre had even traded in his usual stealth uniform for a BDU-13. The discomfort was evident. Markus took in the scene, waiting for the Colonial Federal Air Force Airmen to give them the all-clear. It was quite a sight, to him at least. The six most dangerous fighting men in the entirety of SWORD. Here, Markus was no longer Captain Markus Akron. Instead, he was Alpha, team leader of 6OS "Wolves". His Wolves had earned their places here, rushing into the cold and the unknown...feeling the adrenaline rush through one's veins...feeling everything else fade away as every synapse in the brain focused on the mission and nothing but...

Gods, what a thrill.

The CFAF Airmen gave the all clear signal. The six-man team rushed across the landing pad and into the waiting helicopter. Alpha was the last one in the HC. An Airman closed the sidedoor, and they were off in just a few moments. Alpha checked his loadout one more time.

R-12, check
P-5, check
Grenades, check
SIGNALMAN operational, check

Speaking of... the SIGNALMAN was making a rapid beeping, meaning that a priority transmission was coming through. He clicked a button on his main unit. "Alpha here. Go for transmission."

"Roger Alpha, this is Control for your briefing. Standby for team wide transmission."

All at once, everyone's SIGNALMAN units were beeping. Everyone switched them on.

"Alright Wolves, listen up." said Elliston "13 minutes ago, 4OS was executing Operation RED HORSEMAN against terrorist group known as the Serpents. They have been terrorizing residents in the northern section of the Neva Region, from a hidden base camp in the North Border Mountains. A week ago, the Department of Espionage and Defense..."

Out of the corner of his eye, Alpha saw Spectre have a look of disgust on his face. Spectre's disgust for the DED was well known and best not talked about.

"...intercepted a transmission from the base, codenamed Delta. 4OS was tasked with eliminating the base and grabbing any intel they could get their hands on. Needless to say, RED HORSEMAN is now in jeopardy. A coordinated ambush by hostiles assumed to be Serpent forces have inflicted casualties. Multiple friendlies are down, and those still mobile are under siege by the enemy. Your objective is to rescue the survivors of 4OS and get them out of there. After evacing, the CFAF will send in fighter/bombers to obliterate that location. Any questions?"

"Current status?" asked Cardinal into his mic.

"Still fighting and pinned down. We also suspect that several members are non-ambulatory. Anything else?"

"Composition of OPFOR, sir?" asked Cleverman.

"UAV feeds only count ten hostiles, armed with a variety of weps. Anymore concerns?"

Everyone else shook their heads. Alpha keyed his mic. "No more sir. We'll get the job done."

***
+25 minutes since 4OS hostile contact
Arriving on station
They could tell that the HC had arrived on station because...well...people were trying to kill them.

Reaper opened the sidedoor, rounds pinging off the helicopter as hostiles on the ground fired up at them. Below was a shabby house with a wooden frame. A small stone wall surrounded the perimeter of the property. They could also see a small group of soldiers pined just inside the perimeter, hiding behind the wall. Escape was impossible, for if anyone tried to run away, the escapees would be shot in the back. Hefting his AMW, Reaper began spraying the house with rounds. They could see hostiles taking cover within the house. Taking Reaper's cue, the other Wolves began shooting out the sidedoor, occasionally hitting a target. Reaper sighted a hostile with an RPG taking aim at the HC from the east side of the house.

"Firing on enemy RPG!" he yelled out.

He quickly began shooting at the hostile, who went down pulling the trigger on his RPG. The east side erupted in an explosion.

With the enemy temporarily distracted, the HC was able to set down near the pinned 4OS members. Reaper, Alpha, and Beta took up defensive positions while Cardinal, Cleverman, and Spectre began loading up the wounded. The surviving 4OS men assisted by covering the extraction with Alpha and the others. By the time, the OPFOR had regained their bearings and were once again firing on the extraction team. In an agonizing five minutes, the team poured round after round into the house as the last few wounded were loaded onto the HC. Alpha calmly fired a round into the head of a hostile and watched as the round exploded through the man's head in a rather violent spray of blood and brain matter.

(Huh...that was oddly descriptive)

"Alpha!" yelled Cardinal. "Wounded are loaded up! We have to evac now!"

"Roger. Let radio Control--GAHHH! F**K!"

A round had gone through Alpha's left shoulder when he wasn't looking and began bleeding profusely. At the sound of the expletive, Cardinal began rushing over to Alpha's position, only to be waved away. "I'm fine!" Alpha yelled. "Get on the HC."

Shouldering his R-12 with his right arm, gritting his teeth in pain, he quickly reached to where his SIGNALMAN unit was clipped. keyed his radio for Control's frequency.

"Control," said Alpha, boarding the HC. "We have the survivors onboard and extracting. Tell the CFAF to drop the bombs on this place and hope all the bastards die in a damn fireball!"

"Passing the message along, Alpha. Get out of there."

With everyone loaded up in the HC, they took off, still taking fire. Within moments, they were safely away.

When the bombers came, they wiped the place off the map.

Age:
32

Home Region:
Cryptos

Physical Description:
- 6"0
- Black hair
- Grey eyes
- Caucasian

Years of Experience:
14 Years

Time with Unit:
3 years

Rank:
First Lieutenant (O-2)

Age:
30

Home Region:
Iris Capitol Region

Physical Description:
- 5"9
- Blond hair
- Green eyes
- Caucasian

Years of Experience:
10

Full Name:
William Carmen

Codename:
Spectre

Rank:
Warrant Officer (W-1)

Age:
27

Home Region:
Neva Region

Physical Description:
- 5"7
- Brown hair

Full Name:
John Elliston

Codename:
Cleverman

Rank:
Master Sergeant (E-8)

Age:
25

Home Region:
Iris Capitol Region

Physical Description:
- 5"8
- Black hair
- Blue eyes
- Caucasian

Years of Experience:
7 years

"Well, I think this is amazing. Working with other units...examining their tech...I mean, what?"

Full Name:
Ethan Nasmir

Codename:

Rank:
Sergeant First Class (E-7)

Age:
26

Home Region:
Cryptos Region

Physical Description:

Bio:
Another operator born in the Cryptos Region, Ethan displayed an aptitude for sports and physical activities. He joined the CFA Assualters right out of school, but soon requested transfer and was accepted into SWORD.

Thoughts about Atlas:
"I am most interested in the types of ordinance that the other units use, and the tactics employed in taking down hostile armor."

Full Name:

Age:
27

Home Region:
Neva Region

Physical Description:
- 5"8

Years of experience:
9 years

Bio:
Sanis was originally born in the Neva Region, the son of a doctor and a defense attorney. He showed an aptitude for the medical field during Federation testing, attracting the attention of SHADOW. However, Sanis only worked as an medic, and he did a good job. After SHADOW's disbandment, he went to work for CFA Medical Corps, but soon became dissatisfied with that job and went looking for a change of pace.

Task Force Atlas Personnel File

Image

Name: Unknown
Alias: The Prophet
Unit: N/A
Role: #1 Most Wanted
Age: Unknown
Height: Unknown
Weight: Unknown
Birthplace: Unknown
Biographical Information: The Prophet has kept most of his identity a secret. There are even very few confirmed sightings of the man who only goes by the alias of "The Prophet." If Task Force Atlas could have a mortal enemy, it is him. Most TFA operations in some way targeted The Prophet or his allies or assets. This, of course, was the primary reason The Prophet formed the unit known as Task Force Logos to fight back against TFA, using fire against fire. Task Force Logos was ultimately the reason for TFA's eventual dissolution, as the escalation of the fighting caused most backers of TFA to become skiddish. This allowed the Prophet, now no longer threatened, to step out from the shadows and into the light as a jack of all trades: Business magnate, politician, philanthropist, the Prophet can do anything as long as it strengthens his grip on power in major nations, all the while he funds rebels, militias, and terrorists in backwater countries. Task Force Logos has become his personal bodyguards, or those that have survived. The Prophet has made a lot of progress in the five years without Task Force Atlas there to keep him hidden, and if Task Force Atlas were to ever reappear, they will be fighting an uphill battle, facing enemies on all sides.
Psychological Profile: The Prophet is highly intelligent and cunning. He has been classified by TFA psycholologists as a megalomaniac and a sociopath, willing to cut down whoever gets in his way for his own pursuit of power. He's your classic bad guy, except he isn't dumb enough to let the good guy suffer in a trap for ten minutes while he monologues his evil plans. His visible front is massive and ever-growing, and at this point, he's a small celebrity who will be hard to approach, let alone subdue to neutralize do to his manipulative habits.
Training: Unknown
Notable Experience: Unknown
Typical Loadout: N/A
Theme Song: Lorde - Everybody Wants to Rule the World
Notes: Task Force Logos is never too far from the Prophet.

Mission Briefing

OP:Meeeeeeeeee!
Operation Code Name: Blackest Night
Type of Mission: Asset Retrieval/Assassination
Location: Rebel Islands, Cruxa
Environment: Sunny, Clear, Day, Desert/Jungle, Ocean
Outline: Cartels from South Cruxa have teamed up with a large group of highly dangerous, radical Cruxan nationalist terrorists. Both groups are renowned for their brutality, one ruling the Rebel Islands via an iron fisted dictator, the other by bags of money and dead families. A robust human trafficking network has been set up between the two, with the cartels taking Rebellian women as sex slaves in return for opium and policing services in the Rebel Islands. Your orders are simple: bust the slave trade, and maybe kill some HVTs if you see them.
Primary Objectives:
i. Retrieve the slaves
-Travel to the Rebel Islands and rescue the next shipment of tight, human-filled shipping crates. Do this one of two ways: Land in the dock network of the harbor via parachute, or swim in through the harbor. Escape by either stealing the boat with the shipment, or leading the captives into the heart of the island for pickup.
Secondary Objectives:
i. Assassinate HVTs
-Three HVTs will be present for the op. Reilly Kabuko, a cartel executive, will be inspecting the shipment before it leaves. He will be surrounded by five guards, and on the ship. Omar Padilla, a renowned Rebellian leader who held term as Supreme Leader for one year, will also be present. His force of 100 fighters will be patrolling the harbor, securing the shipment as well as guarding escape. Kill on sight. Also, it is rumored that out in the desert lives the current mastermind of all military operations against Cruxa. If you find him and his 50 men, kill him.
Parameters: You have two weeks to complete.
OpFor: Enemy resistance is not intense, as they aren't expecting any attack, let alone a TFA attack. The average Rebellian soldier or cartel member has an AK-104 and a Colt M1911, in other words they're MT soldiers without any form of armor. Shoddily trained but wholeheartedly committed, take no prisoners. However, it is well-known that hey have a very large stash of secured Hellfire missiles and drones to launch them, so if you're a large group, avoid detection.
Notes: They aren't as vulnerable as they seem. Split up.

Unless you are still using magazines.
Plus, the friction would warm up your hands.
