What could be their motive? Because Pittsburgh is a more powerful city or a more powerful social force than Nashville? That's not realistic.

If they wanted to engineer results they should send the championship to the Kings or the Rangers or the Black Hawks.

Counting on it! The Pens play great hockey; y'all pushed us and hopefully we made you work a little bit harder for the Cup. Maybe next year we'll both have won our divisions-that would be an interesting matchup. It's been one heck of a run for both of our teams. Respect.

How about the Penguins don't get yet another guy I like? Malkin may only have been my fourth favourite Russian anyway, but after Streit and Hornqvist they could really stop doing that at some point, given that I'll never support them. The entire NHL is very good at directing people at teams I don't want them to play at, though... (as long as Hischier doesn't end up with the Devils it's still tolerable though)
