Warden Police Provide Safety During Turbulent Weekend

Dear Citizens,

the Warden Police, headquartered at Weisshaupt Fortress, deployed numerous units this weekend once again in our mission to protect and serve founderless communities across NationStates.

At midnight on Saturday morning, a rowdy group of teenagers armed with spray cans, known to police as The Invaders, began trashing up various neighbourhoods. With several squad cars deployed by Warden Police and nearby police departments, a total of seven buildings were saved from undesirable street art. Meanwhile, a tactical force of 15 police officers deployed to clear out brony squatters in Loopy Lok. As the night drew to a close, several officers were inconspicuously sent to mingle amongst British Mafia's hideout in Eireann, who were none the wiser as the mafia boss appeared to have moved on; at noon on Saturday, the rest of Warden Police and several other police districts joined to retake the region and, using existing assets in the region, put up border walls and remove the last remnants of the mafiosos.

Toga Party

Sunday night began slow, with officers dispatching some former members of the British Mafia attempting an unacceptable felony. A fraternity toga party crowd escalated as they clashed with a group of anime fans and moved to burn their collection of DVDs. The toga wearers, in an impressive move, left donut crumbs all over the city to distract police from their raid. As officers were still searching for the actual donuts, a group of basketball fans illegally started a barbecue in the backyard of Atrigeas, quickly turning into a large party of Golden State opponents. Atrigeas was a former outpost of the FRA, sworn enemies of the Los Imperialistos gang. Foreseeing the gang's interest in vandalizing Atrigeas, Warden Police quickly deployed troops to stage in Warzone Europe, allied with the Los Imperialistos gang, to distract them and keep them out of Atrigeas.

Disciplinary measures were immediately enacted for police officers too busy searching for donuts. Seriously. We need to get rid of this damn donut stereotype.

Warden Police SWAT Team

At noon, Warden Police gathered all forces. With the help of several local anime fan clubs, the toga party in Japan was broken up a mere 12 hours after it had started. Immediately after, SWAT teams from Warden Police once again prepared to break up the illegal barbecue party in Atrigeas (also a mere 12 hours later), and informed that the city only allows barbecuing with an approved license issued in Kandarin, and only in KNDY-approved locations. As a sign of good will, officers aided in logistical efforts to relocate the party to The Rejected Realms (cuz we do agree with the sentiment - fuck Golden State).

Kandarin's government has been slacking about to the point of not even existing for the last seven years (Naivetry's government is supposed to handle Kandarinian affairs, but their government has also disbanded due to recent inactivity.) Is that the reason why these BBQ licenses still have to exist - to stop people holding them in the first place?

Law enforcement only enforces the law - whether a BBQ license is even attainable is a matter of municipal governance
