But he knew this was impossible he had seen the strongest warriros try to pull it out with no avail. But he knew he could not pay it back so he assumed that he could never pay that back within five lifetimes so he got up begrudgingly and walked out the door. The warm crsip air greeted him as well as the sounds of a growing town. As he made towards the center people were indifferent to people trying so many have most just brushed it past as he moved. The sword looked bigger than he thought it was standing up to his length. He put his spear and and shield down and rolled up his sleeves he put his hands on the cold hilt and pulled. At first there was full resistance but he felt the blade let loose and be pulled out the blade it flung out and nearly stabbed him the leg. The entire center went silent and looked at him wide eyed. The blade then lit up the black blade shinning like the sun shooting into the sky. It seemed to shrink to usable size. The entire town went silent. At first it started near the center a couple of what looked like preist kneeled down then the townsfolk quickly followed and then the soilders all kneeling down saying "Prasie the Prophet Semestra Praise Ballum." Over and over again. He went back over to the tavern sword in hand and sat next to the lone fellow "I will be taking this" he said and went for a drink.

"Perfect! Absolutely astonishing!" Oblectatio laughed. He didn't expect that young chap to actually pull it off. As his bag taken all he could do was smile. He didn't care about the lost gold, because he was entertained by this young man's surprise. As Semestra walked away Oblectatio shouted, "names Oblectatio! I'll be watching you closely! Shout my name whenever you need me! I can help you trick anybody for a price!" Once Semestra was out of view Oblectatio stood up, and pulled out a box. He had crafted this box to enter and leave his comet when he desired. He turns the magically blessed crank and disappeared with the box.

"So I ask you water goddess leave now peacefully and I can assume my warring or feel the full wrath of war drop into your kingdom." " I don't wish to fight you Ballum. I don't wish to fight anyone. I am a peaceful soul, unlike some of those. I will let your men go, but if they ever attack merchants again, I will do death a favor. I now decree that Piracy is illegal by the of the Sea but Sovereign States may participate in Naval Warfare. There will be no slaugter of unarmed prisoners upon the sea and there will be no mortal or God who breaks these rules. Let it be done. But as payment for those poor, executed souls, evident because of their sliced throats, I will take one of your men as captive. He will be treated well in my Kingdom, under the sea. One day, he will return."

Ralena motioned with her hand for the water to pick up a man from the deck. She look over the waters choice. A young boy, one of seventeen. He looked scared and held his weapon sloppily. When Ralena drew him closer, he jabbed at her with his spear. She simply knocked into the sea below. She whistled once and Lupus appeared as a dolphin in the sea below. " Take this boy Lupus to my kingdom under the sea. Treat him well." Lupus nodded and both the boy and Lupus disappeared. Ralena turned back to Ballum. " The rest of your men and women may go on now, with no hinderence unless they commit piracy again. Have a good day, Ballum."

Ballum
Ballum relaxed a bit and felt the power subside from him his black armor now back to it's polished steel and his eyes were back to normal. He nodded in response "And a good day to you to." He said back walking back he found the ships captain "I need you to get this back to port and un load all the loot and do it quickly now." He said mounting Ballum and riding off back to the Hall. Hall of Heros
Walking in through the big oak doors Ballum noticed and saw somebody another god perhaps? "Hello fellow god how is your day."

Est Liber Temporis
And he sees the fate of all beings mortals or gods. And when the time comes he approaches them with prophesies to teach them the path of the will of Lenu. And they shall love him and hate him for it.

"It is time for the prophecy" said Fairon as he rose from his throne and ventured forth into the mortal world.

As Ballum and Ralena stood on the ocean he came to them. The mortals saw an old man walking on water. He was hooded and cloaked with his long white beard showing beneath the hood. He walked hunched as if carrying a great weight and used the support of a white staff. Then they noticed that waves approaching him would stand still until he passed then would continue as if nothing happened. Time seemed to stand still as he approached. The man approached and from him they could feel a power that at the same time invoked awe and inspired fear. He approached the two gods. "Hello fellow god how is your day?" asked Bellum. "It is proceeding well" was the reply.

"O Bellum Lord of War, Ralena Lady of Water I have seen a vision of what is to come. Ballum your followers will wage war on the seas and they will pillage and commit piracy if they so will for such is the freedom given to them by Lenu. Lady Ralena does not have the power to impose her will over the will of Lenu she will not ban the slaughter of unarmed men and the sinking of merchant vessels upon the sea at the hands of men. Lady Ralena you shall take the help of Kona Lord of the Sky and Tsiporra Lady of the Storms and your waves shall sink many ships that do not pay tribute to you, even many among the merchants shall not do so and will face your wrath. Many good men will die upon the seas in your storms and many evil men shall survive. Such is the future I have seen and you shall not change it. That is the doom I place on both of you."

Ralena turned to the new comer, a hunched old man in a long cloak. " Whom do you think you are? Ballum and I have settled our dispute and you come in and try to reimburse it. Why would you want this? It is helpful for no one. By my laws, I am allowing more freedom, prosperity, and safety upon the seas. I will destroy pirates and murderers and grant merchant with swift winds and currents, hastening their passage. I would love to work with Lord Kona and Lady Tsiporra but for good, not evil. It is the fate of man to forever battle the gods. To try and take ownership of this world. In this they are free by the will of Lenu such has been forseen

"I am Fairon the Lord of Time and of Fate. It is my duty to foresee the future of the world and to help it follow the will of Lenu. I have placed my Prophecy. You have been warned. Such is the fate of the world and you will not deny it. You may use your followers to rid the world of piracy in that you are free but the freedom of choice belongs to the humans and you will not take from them that which Lenu has granted them. if ever a time shall come that you try to change the fate of the world you will find me in your path again." and with that the old man disappeared. He thought "I will have trouble with that one" as he disappeared.

Shalan looked at the king before telling him "Very well then, but my curse upon the demon still stands. You two may now deliberate thine issues." And with that, Shalan dissappeared with another flash of light, returning to his realm and putting the finishing touches on his divine realm. When he was finished, he sealed his entire realm within a ball of white light, turning it almost as luminous as the sun on the mortal plane. Shalan then decided to check on the Serenians.

Arriving back on the mortal plane, he saw that the Srenians had already grown quite a bit. They had left the site of their birth for the new site he had directed them to, where they had founded a great city of marble. Shalan explored the grand city, purviewing maps of the great empire that his people had created. He then walked up to the palace, too speak with the one he had made the king, Shalanorno. the Serenian has grown old in the years since Shalan had left. The king was now on his deathbed. Shalan came to the kings chamber's and lifted him up, bringing him back to Shalanissal.

Ordepidus of Cadmus
Riding in the Barbaric Lands, North of the Central Mountains
Toward the Xia Dynasty

Ordepidus was met with a caravan on the road. This road received decent travel, but was not as safe as others. It utilized an overall shortcut in the land, and went into high elevations. There were some monsters that prowled the roads, some bandit groups that extorted people in random tolls. Some highwaymen outright robbed and sometimes killed people. One was infamous for it. However, Ordepidus was searching this road for some upstarts that had killed his master. If his vengeance could not be a blight on old age for the death of his mother, then these highway robbers would not face his mercy. One could not let their guard down on these roads, however, or your failed vigilance would lead to your demise.

Their hands moved to their blades. The shifty looks and the disheveled appearance made Ordepidus guess they had been robbed. Not extorted, but wholesomely robbed. Ordepidus made no move that he would attack or even approach them besides going on his own merry way down the road. He gave them nothing but a sidelong glance. They were like wild animals at the moment, and shouldn't be provoked. The two factions walked parallel down the road beside each other, and the passing was quiet. The only blood that need be on Ordepidus' hands was the blood of the bandits that had killed his master.

Before midday, there was one of the few well-established and successful toll gates. The extortionists gave their price, and Ordepidus asked if he could pay with a favor. This, of course, made the archers tense, but the caller's interest had been piqued. A few of the toll gates and bandit groups worked together, other times bandit groups could be a nuisance to the toll gates because they often left people with nothing to pay with at the toll gates. Ordepidus was interested in destroying a bandit group, maybe this gate wanted that bandit group gone. It would be a win-win, and Ordepidus would not have to pay. The gate was opened to expose the leader of this particular gate.

"So you want to pay with someone else's blood? What if we did not want this bandit group destroyed? Do you know their name?"

"The Red Road Bandits. I have vengeance to send upon their ranks. Do you let me pass to wreak my havoc, or do you slay me?"

"Whatever your vendetta, we will let you slay them. They have caused nothing but trouble for everyone but themselves. It seems they'll run into their own trouble soon enough, if you can handle that sizeable bunch."

"I don't intend to fail. If I do, then I will be wherever my soul may go."

The extortionist leader stroked his chin," They seem much more organized and successful these months...If you succeed, then eh, you will be proven a formidable foe the next we try to tax you. You slay these bandits, you're price will forever be paid here, and you will be let pass from here on. If you fail, then you're dead, and I don't like to talk to dead men."

Ordepidus did not heed that they were suddenly more formidable. They would fall either way. "Then we have our deal."

He continued on, spurring his horse along to make it to the fringes of their territory by nightfall. He'd set up camp, and try to find the bandits' base the next day, scouting the territory like his master had taught him. But now, he made sure he would not get waylaid by anything hostile. The forest grew thick, then thin, and thick again. The sun dropped down, and the sunlight began the end of its waning. He dismounted his horse and began making his small campsite. Ordepidus made a small fire and used the cover of thick brambles to make sure there wasn't too much light for wild creatures and night-prowling men to find him while he slept. As the sky grew dark, Ordepidus made himself a meal, relieved himself off in the woods, and rolled out his bedroll on a cushion of leaves.

The night went well, until Ordepidus awoke to the sounds of much commotion to find a bandit picking through his campsite. The bandit looked at him and smirked, and Ordepidus received a blow to the head from behind. He intermittently passed in and out of consciousness, catching snatches of conversation. He opened his eyes to see a blur of forest and complaints that he was heavy. Next he was in a cave in front of some other bandit, probably at the entrance. The bandit smiled and before he could say something sly to Ordepidus, he passed out again. Next he was getting put in a crude cell and he heard one complain about having to capture people. Ordepidus' head hurt, so thought it best to sleep the pain off and to wait until the next time he was confronted to formally wake up.

Kong Hui was waiting patiently for his companions when something started ringing in his head. "Hmm?" Kong Hui looked confused, but then realized that it was a call from the Xia Dynasty and it was coming from Hou Min. Kong Hui turned around from his companions and squatted on the ground. "What do you need, I'm a bit busy?"

"Can you impart some divine knowledge on me?"

"No, do that yourself."

"I mean give me something useful."

"Ugh, fine. Write this down. 75:15:10 ratio of potassium nitrate:charcoal powder:sulfur powder"

"OK... what is this?"

"Good stuff, just be careful around it. I have to get back now. Don't call me unless the Xia Empire is in danger." And with that Kong Hui cut off the connection between him and Hou Min.

Hou Min was confused. "What is this formula?" Hou Min gave the formula to a Court Offical. "Give it to the Alchemy/Herbal Lab and test it. " Hou Min ordered. "Also, how goes the military recruitment?"

"It is going well, our military will be twice as efficient and powerful than before with the training of horseback archery and the crossbow with replaceable parts."

"Alright."

The Xia Dynasty was starting to look very different. With the grand opening of the four academies there was a large leap in technological/magical advances. Student cultivators were flying on flying swords to get to places. Array masters were able to inscribe wagons and carriages to go without horses. They were also experimenting using water power as a source of labour. Spiritual pills were being sold at the market for cheap prices. The effects varied from pill to pill. Towering pagodas and buildings were being erected. Art and Literature were being explored with new mediums and styles. It was the bustling of prosperity and it was shared throughout the empire.

More than half of the Senate raised their hands though there were a few voices of dissent.

"Then it is official, this motion has passed and this Senate is adjourned, I thank you, fellow senators, for passing not just a victory for today, but a victory for the Republic".

Once Kong Hui saw the couple interacting, he knew that he was not going to be noticed at all. He smiled as he left them alone. Kong Hui walked a fair distance before squatting on the ground and planted a seed. The seed grew into a giant lotus flower and opened up. Kong Hui stepped inside and disappeared. The Lotus flower then shriveled up and died.

Chamber of Union
Palace of the Triarchs
Jidaril
The Jidaril Hegemony

"Please, Aldar, see reason. There are thousands who go hungry across the Hegemony, how can we afford to continue this practice?" Taz was doing his best to hold back his anger, but hours of argument had taxed his patience. The Patriarch had been unusually obstructive today, and Taz could not figure out why. He had fought on abandoning Rite of Ingal, the alteration of the calendar to fit recent discoveries of the Magi and now this.

Aldar stared down Taz, not hard considering he towered over the Arch-Magus, glaring for a few seconds before slamming his fist on the table and shouting. "You would damn us Taz, and you Selis would drag us into Tartarus just as swiftly. Countless generations we have been spared the gods' ire, and you would bring their wrath upon us as the winter brings the cold. How long before all our people starve if we do this? How long until plagues take our young, until the earth shakes until our cities fall into dust?"

At that, Selis snorted. "Oh stow it you dumbass, the Rite of Temaris is excessive, we can remove the sacrifice and let the people eat their food. The western territories despise it, and trying to enforce it will only continue to spur on rebellious sentiment. I'd rather not kill any rangers over some sheep."

Aldar looking back and forth between Taz and Selis, Aldar saw it was fruitless. He slumped back into his chair, letting out a sigh of defeat. "Do what you will, then. And may the gods show us mercy."

Adea

Adea traveled the mortal plane randomly, though several nations and wilderness, she had ever happened upon some of the nomadic tribes of Dryadales, who praised her, but she then eventually she found herself in the UAC, alone. She looked though various stores and stalls in her mortal form, in one she found a beautiful pendant that was of the moon but it was also yin and yang.

Hou Min was pacing around the palace. The Sunkingdom had not replied to the alliance and the messenger was not found. They could only assume that he was dead. This was an ominous sign and could be used as a declaration of war against the Sunkingdom. The army was stationed at the border between the two nations ready to invade.
Hou Min stopped and decided to go and survey the border with his generals.

Kzk'aatha

That emissary he sent came back to him sluggishly and late, and it wondered why. It seemed reluctant to merge with it, though he solved this by extending his blob and capturing it, merging the blob of gray again with it. Then it began wandering around the caverns that were connected to the canyon that he resided in, the largest cavernous formations being at the very bottom of the deep canyon, and so it wandered about in the large caverns.

The part where that emissary blob was constantly tugged the opposite direction, but it ignored the movements. Then it attempted separation, and that's when it took a "look" at that part. It seemed that it seeks its independence, and Kzk'aatha decided to start making a son. And so it separated with the blob.

It began molding the silvery goo, and it started to take shape, turning from a gray mass to a humanoid form, it had no nose or mouth, or ears, for it had no need for such trivialities, but it had eyes, in the form of two dark depressions. And he was born, firstborn of Kzk'aatha, Emissarus.

"You are my first son, but are not the chosen one," It began, cloaking its son with a black cloak "But you shall go forth and sow anarchy, and preach that the chosen one of mine is nigh.". "Aye father, I will execute your will without flaw." Emissarus replied, and he flew off, entered the planet's atmosphere, and landed a mile off the UAC capital. "I got work to do." He said to nobody in particular, and walked to the capital.

Kong Hui was struck by her appearance. It was very pleasing to the eye. Kong Hui smiled. "Hmmmm, I could get you both..." Kong Hui looked closer at the Adea pendant. "A very interesting shape of the moon, did you know that the moon also represents yin in the dao, heh a very beautiful thing..."

Kong Hui promptly paid for the two necklaces but broke the yin yang pendant in half so there were two colors, the white yang and the black yin. He then took the yin part of the pendant and fused it together with the Adea symbol. "Turn around please" Kong Hui said "Oh, I almost forgot to ask for your name..."

Aecermann Capital

Emissarus walked around the roads of the capital, exploring. The freedom from his father was exhilarating, and he would enjoy every free moment that he would have. His walking would take him to the market square, where he saw many people selling their goods and touting their wares at passing humans. Occasionally would there be a Dornyr, but the scant amount of Dornyr here was all he needed to establish a cell. He then suddenly perk his head up.

He sensed something, there was a god here, and he would observe. Closing on the source, he would be at a small stall of a wood carver, which was just next to the stall where the god was. He made a slight hum, while looking at the stall's products, all the while observing the god.

Kuarae,
Goddess of Fertility and Lust

When the world was young and the great Lord Lenu had brought forth the other gods unto the mortal plane, the world may have become green and full of life, but it lacked vigor and drive. Seeds did not sprout, animals did not give birth, and the sentient races felt no desire among themselves, instead withering away without propagating the seed of creation. But from the banks of the mighty Kampas, she arose, red haired and glorious, to bring life to the living, to inspire corporeal attraction, to make mortals desire. Lady Kuarae, gorgeous and fair, emerged eons ago to bring a different kind of prosperity to the world, adding to the growing mass of creation and refining it, while the other gods became lazy and unresponsive...

Or so thought the people of the Exarchate of Koshorus.

Though she did add to creation (a great addition at that), she may have exaggerated a few details here and there when she retold the story of creation to the Koshorusians. Of course, it bothered her little. They were, in fact, her subjects first, those of other gods and goddesses later.

"As long as they keep their oath's to me and recognize my dominion over them, I don't care who else they worship or what they believe," she had told herself.

Of course, she had to keep them in line, show them that straying from her influence would not go unpunished...

Most notably, when the inhabitants of Erkent-kha had decided that they would no longer sacrifice children in her name, she whispered into the ear of a young, aspiring man, commanding him to conquer all of Koshorus. Of course, she did not forget to specifically instruct him to attack Erkent-kha, sparing no one who called the city home. It was a pleasant time, watching them all burn and cry out in agony. Amused, she guided the young man in the rest of his conquests right up to the end, smiling as Revati the Devourer became the first Exarch of Koshorus.

That was ages ago, and, on some days, she was displeased that Revati no longer walked the mortal plane, although he did live in The Vale of the Thousand Harmonies. He visits her regularly, offering his eternal thanks for her aid in his conquests.

Today, however, she was in no mood to hear his pleasantries. She did not crave the company of the soul (no matter how immortal) of a man, for no matter how enlightened or well versed they may be, they Wil never be capable of fully fathoming the intricacies of the life of a divinity. No, she craved the attention of another divine.

Reclining upon her great, satin bed beneath the shade of her holy grove, she called out, into the waves of the cosmos, seeking the attention of greater beings;

"Oh! How tragic, how unfortunate, how cruel of a fate it is to be without the grandiose glow of another such as I! Will no one dare approach me?"

And so he reigned as the city's master from within, convincing the men of the Council to build for themselves great monuments of stone to glorify and beautify their city, and to send ships laden with treasure unto the farthest corners of the mortal plane and unto the docks of every mortal king, and along the banks of every river, so that all could be shown the richness and splendor of the city and so that the wonders of the world could be acquired and brought back for display in the Great Council Palace.

But even as Lavarys made merriment with his new servants, he felt a calling across the very fiber of the world, cast out by a creation of Lenu more powerful than kings. He had heard many such callings, and had cast them aside, thinking himself and his city and his power more important than the machinations of the other gods that Lavarys knew Lenu must have created. Yet this call struck closer to his heart. It was a plea for greatness - for power, and ichor - and he felt a calling stronger than before.

And so Lavarys bore his Council farewell, and left with them a great deal of parting gifts and fewer instructions, and bore himself up into Besthemene in his realm of Tilanis, and arrayed himself richly in fine robes, dipping into his endless coffers for gold with which to beautify himself.

And once he had so prepared for his visit, he spirited himself away from Besthemene, and to a new and strange realm, where he made greetings with the goddess whom his he had been called to answer.

-From the Lussuoriad, Chapter 2, page 34.

Arrayed in gold, the young god accepted what he felt was an invitation into what was clearly the inner sanctum of another divine such as himself. His form appeared in the sacred grove with a glow of golden light, and the soft shimmering of his robes, which soon faded to nothing. Very approvingly, he looked over the place - not as richly decorated as possible, but quite impressive nonetheless. "Lady divine," he said softly, in his silken and honeyed voice, bowing respectfully before the goddess he saw before him. "You seek the company of divines, and I answer."

Kuarae,
Goddess of Fertility and Lust

A coy smile appeared on Kuarae's face as Lord Lavarys materialized before her, wrapped in the finest and most ornate cloths, bearing the most radiant of jewels, speaking in the smoothest of ways. Her simple, yet elegant grove, nearly met its match in his appearance, but nothing defeats the natural beauty of well kept greenery...in her opinion.

As for herself, she wore her hair loose on this occasion, letting her red curls away in the slight breeze of the grove, with small, white flowers intermingling with her red locks. Upon her figure, a jade coat of silk, embroidered with golden lace on the edges and lapels, curling every which way into scenes of love and bliss. On her lower half, an elegant golden silk skirt, shinning with the ferocity of a thousand stars, with creamy red colored swirls and shapes flowing freely.

It was the dress of a goddess.

With a slight sigh, she held him firmly in her gaze, and gesturing with her right arm as she leaned upon her bed with her left, said:

"Lord Lavarys, I welcome you to the Vale of the Thousand Harmonies and the Grove of Pleasure, may it be as pleasing to you as it is to me."

Osmus the Weirdling
The Jidaril Hegemony
Wilderlands

The Weirdling slumbered at the base of a great, gnarled tree, oblivious to the world. Beside him lay a large trunk turned upon it's side, it's many contents spilled upon the grass. There were jewels, strange devices, several wands, various coins, scrolls, tomes, statuettes and carved fetishes, among other things. A pair of eyes studied the sleeping wizard from the safety of a nearby bush.

Slowly the creature emerged. Moonlight shone down through the canopy, momentarily revealing the slinking form of a fox. It was food, not treasure, that she was after. Closer and closer she crept, keeping an eye on Osmus. He was drooling, nearly comatose it would seem. In his right hand he clutched a large, dried mushroom, bruised blue where his fingers gripped. The fox sniffed at it and wrinkled her nose before moving on to the trunk.

Not what she was looking for.

The smell was unmistakable, now. Tentatively she leaned forward into the overturned container, carefully and quietly withdrawing a haunch of rabbit wrapped within a cloth. Suddenly, the sound of laughter erupted from behind her and she began to dash away.

She leaped once, then twice before being snatched up and lifted into the air by her tail. A whimper escaped the poor creature, haunch still held firmly between her teeth, turning slowly as she dangled to face a bleary eyed but grinning Osmus.

That'd be my meal, ye little scamp.

The fox blinked, the words transforming as they passed from Osmus' thoughts to her own. The creature actually gulped, eliciting more cackling from the dissheveled wizard.

When he was done, he said aloud, "I s'pose you could have it. I prefer me other treats, to tell it true."

He released the fox mid-air. She landed nimbly on her forepaws and dashed into the midnight gloom. Osmus watched her as she went, then yawned loudly as he stretched his limbs. He lifted the large mushroom he held in his hand and bit the cap off cheerily before stuffing it into a bulging pouch at his waist. His discarded wineskin lay near his foot. He turned it bottoms up and squeezed the last of the sweet red into his open mouth.

Satisfied, he turned his gaze upon the churning image of his overturned trunk and set about the task of collecting and putting away his things. When he was finished, Osmus rapped his knuckles twice upon the lid. The trunk began to shrink slowly until it was no larger than an apple. He bent and scooped it up, stashing it within the folds of his stained robes.

Whistling a merry tune, the Weirdling swiped his shillelagh from where it leaned against a tree and exited the clearing. He had an appointment to keep, and had slept away the day. He was quite capable of transporting himself there by magical means, but he so enjoyed the wilderness that he often preferred mundane methods of travel.

Lyras, God of Space and Probability

In the earliest birthing days of the universe, there was little that existed. In the briefest moments, between the first flash of light which created the universes, the Mortal Plane, and all planes which from thenceforth should become divine, there was chaotic instability. The cosmos were meant to bear stars, great lights and balls of energy, to showcase among them wondrous nebulas, comets, and an alluring array of anomaly's endless as the wonder and creation of Lenu himself! Yet, there was nothing. Space, for some unknown reason, seemed keen on not heeding the intent of it's creator. Encapsulated by it's own contorting conflict, Space continued to grow more and more unresponsive, becoming it's own master for a time as t fought and tore upon itself. The wise, and powerful God of Creation, saw this, and realized that for his glorious vision of reality, Space must be tamed, though it would not heed the call of one it saw as outside of it.

With wit, Lenu found a loophole, with what little the rebellious dimension was willing to still work with him, he began the creation of an ultra massive star. Larger than anything before planned in the universe, he had said, and the rebellious forces of the dimension of Space, which seemed almost sentient themselves, were for a moment appeased. They allowed this grand project, and soon, in a gentle calm stretch of the plane, one of few left remaining, a unfathomably large ball of light and energy amassed itself. It became readily apparent that Lenu had not deceived the dimension, for this much energy from the divine God of Creation could only be a sign that he indeed meant to create a start so massive, it would challenge creation itself!

The unyielding forces of reality which conspired against it's very creator, however, had grown naive. As the ball of energy and mass reached a critical point, it began to shake, with such horrific force that the fabric of Space, and the very mechanics of it's reality began to break and tear. The ball shrunk, and shrunk, and shrunk a billion times over, growing smaller and smaller until even Lenu himself stood taller than it. Then, the monstrously dense ball of energy took a sculpted form, it's brightness dimmed and it's heat cooled. From it, this fiery ball of creation made of energy and trickery, was born Lyras, God of Space and Probability.

The dimension of Space had ignored the commands of it's creator before, for it saw him as outside of it, saw him as incapable of understanding it, or commanding it, or having the right to even do so. It had become rebellious, and in turn, it's creator had fooled it, into creating from the energy Space and of himself, a child born of the very matter of stars, and the very strings of realities binds, the rules which would govern what, how, if, when, a given thing could ever happen. His name was Lyras, and with his creation, Space would no longer remain disloyal.

The approach of the new deity was different than that of his creator, for without a doubt, Lyras understood his origins. Like the dimension of Space had been to Lenu, Lyras treated the dimension with arrogance, sheer superiority, and unleashed upon it demands far greater than their creator had ever leveled. With each resisting pulse of reality, the young God grew stronger, with each defiant cry, he would break and bend and mold the new laws and governings of his dimension, of Space. Their back and forth raged, and eventually, space, and probability, together forming the fabric to create reality, capitulated to the unrelenting God, who had mercilessly asserted himself as it's new Master.

With his gained control over the broken rules which defied the Creator, Lyras would show his thanks to the Creator, for his birth, and his power, and made certain that the intent and dream of the God of Creation for Space, was realized. He made the rules stable, fluid, bendable, and capable of change to maintain to it's natural state. With the expanse of infinity tamed, the magnificent stars, constellations, and anomaly that the Creator has always intended would now start to be, under the watchful gaze of the Infinity God, to ensure it's continued prosperous obedience.
The Book of Infinity, Page 1

Overseeing the plights of infinite space, the very inner mechanics of reality, being a responsibility dealt to him. It was, he was certain, the only job in all of Creation which could ever have provided the purpose and interest he required. Despite his natural behavior masking it, Lyras was in no way unsure of his true thoughts on the matter. Whatever issue the creator had had with taming Infinity, he had picked by far the very best to birth from the fires of creation and the matter of the stars to bring it under heel.

Though, being the sole mechanic on call for when the endless streams of problems, big and small arise to break or damage the incredible machine of efficiency holding together the stars and planes alike, left Lyras little time to interact with the Mortals. His following, while devoted to the deepest core of their souls, was small, as he would have expected. Unlike the other deities, involvement in the Mortal Plane, had not ever really been given a place in his schedule. It was a forbidden recreation to him, and in all earnest, he'd had enough of that. It was for this, that he created Karian's.

Also known as, Cursed Angels of Infinity, or - just Cursed Angels. The Lost Souls, with nowhere else to go, which came to Plane, would always have the option: "Survive here in the afterlife for eternity, or trade your soul to me, Lyras, and in exchange i shall reincarnate you, as an agent of my name, the God of Space and Probability, to be free to do as you so wish with this great power, understanding that if i may ever call upon you, must you heed. Your actions are not of mine, but your own, your will is born of you, and not of me. Should you stumble, blunder or fall, understand this - death ensures you only complete annihilation, from existence and reality itself." (Book of Infinity, Page 73)

What the readers were not told, though, is just what did the God of Space and Probability do with those souls anyway? Sentient forms of the purest energy...?
Well, as Lyras would put it, he took a page from his Creator when things got tougher and more boring than he'd like, and got clever about it. The Souls he took in exchange for creating their life anew, as a Karian, were kept as the sentient forms of pure energy, under his watch and direction, to assist him with his duties. Rather than maintain the machine of Infinity alone, Lyras created Karians, took the souls of the volunteers, and re purposed them as lower level mechanics of reality, to keep things running smoothly on a day-to-day basis. Itself not a difficult task, was tedious, and time consuming. Now with his army of souls assisting under his teaching to maintain the fabric on which existence is made, Lyras found himself with the time to actually poke at the Mortal Plane a bit.

A perfect time, no less, when a soul passed by him, that looked as empty as the universe before it's birth. The child was young, not even 5, hardly old enough to begin speaking understandably even. She looked at him, straight into his eyes. This was his opportunity...

He brought the girl closer, staring into her eyes from inches away, as it seemed the two could understand every fiber of the other with their gaze. Despite her age, he had the feeling that somehow she understood where she was, who he was, and what this deal was going to be, and what it meant for her. Mostly, of course, the deal meant Revenge, but it also meant a second life, and a chance to truly become something, other than a burned 3 year olds' corpse. Whether she truly understood it or not, when he tried to pull her soul away, there was less resistance than usual. Infact, there was none at all.

It was strange, how to explain, but she must have understood. Not only understood, knew him, and trusted him completely. As her soul pulled away, and she transformed to the personless creature of a Cursed Angel, he became only more convinced. Though assigned at 'random', the power level of a Karian has a very great to deal, to do with their understanding, love, faith and loyalty to not only Lyras, but the expanses of Infinity itself. She was quite possibly, the strongest, or certainly among the strongest, he'd ever created, Her name, was Lairah.

His first, true, personalized venture on the Mortal Plane, was to be through closely watching a single monster he'd created. A traumatized, murdered toddler who seemed to know no emotion but despair, who made no sound but the slashing of flesh by blade, and whose trials which he'd recently created involved possibly the hardest task he'd given. Destroying a nation? Easy, for her, elementary even. It would be a matter of her learning to get used to, and properly wield her power, nothing more. But the second half, find, or rather prove, true happiness exists. By finding it, for at least a single. Waking. Second. Just, one.

Finding something for a single second should surely not be so hard, but, then, he was the God of Space, Infinity, and truth be told. He was not convinced what he'd told Lairah to find, actually even existed.

The Cursed Archangel, Princess of Annihilation, Angel of Eternal Despair, Devil Breaker of Fate, Valkyrie of Armageddon, Mute. But you may call her; Lairah, the Legend of

One could hardly be expected to imagine a 3 year old being cut down and burned to death. Asking them to imagine this child ending up on the Dimension of Eternal Lost, won't go over any better. Telling them to believe this child, traumatized to the core, with a soul that seemed as lifeless as the universe before creation, would be pushing the boundaries of the plausible in their eyes. Lastly, informing them that she sold that soul to the God of Space and Probability, to be reborn as a Karian, a member of the race of Cursed Angels made by the god, was likely to get you a smack.

For whatever, few would believe her story. It was an increasingly common folk tale, the little girl who lost her brothers, then her parents, her village, her life, only to then give up her soul to be reborn, with the kind of power to earn her a name like "Princess of Annihilation", or any of the others. A few depictions of her face existed, and indeed, on occasion, a mortal would recognize her. In disbelief they'd try to speak, ask for clarification. Lairah would turn, each time to them, the same blank, empty, misery filled expression as always. Her eyes a dim silvery grey, with the dark, intense dot of purple that marked her as a Cursed Karian Angel. The jet black hair, which flowed to her mid back, and her silent unmoving lips as her stare would pierce their soul. They would ask, if the story was true, all that befit an answer of yes to them, was to reveal her feathered, ethereal wings and look away as she walked.

Every time, without fail in the distance behind her, she would hear "It's true...", indeed it was. When Lyras reincarnated her, she was 3 years old. He had to break the rules of his own process, allowing her to age 17 years, just a month ago she'd hit 20, and the rule was re applied. Immune to aging, immune to disease, the only death for her now laid in the blade of a sword, and on the other end, the harbinger of her removal from existence. It was a morbid, existentially critical thought that would crack most minds, though she always felt unfazed by it.

Lyras had told her, she was in a series of trials now. To earn a magnificent reward, she wasn't sure what it was. She'd already earned the bracelets, which helped her to learn and control her power. When she was 10, she earned her wings, and at 14, she got her now iconic suit of armor. Form-fitting, the metal, whatever it was, was protected, enchanted, empowered, and embedded to within an inch of it's ability to continue existing and not evaporate into infinity. The blackish gray armor had purple crystals at various points built into it, she was given to understand these were made by Lyras himself, supposedly the entire ensemble was.

It served to make her stronger, she assumed, by making her much harder to kill. Though, the exact reasoning of a god to give this to a cursed, soul less monster he created was beyond her. Lairah was certain, at least, he had something for her planned, one is not simply given armor made by and fit for a God without reason. Though she took note of her strength increasing considerably from the power it was made with, in truth, it's aid is why she's come as far as she has with Probability altering. Without question, it has been the most difficult thing to master, requiring a constant perception of reality and infinity, and it's laws for the situation, in that area, at that time, to understand what works, how, and why, to change it.

In all honesty, she would have to admit, it was unthinkable that the God of Space and Probability had done this, for the entirety of Infinity, by himself for anything more than a week. God or not, she could see such a thing running anyone insane. Of course, on that note... insane is not a far off word to describe him. The first part of her trials was soon upon her, and simple enough. He had said, to find those responsible, for killing her, her family, her village. Find them, find the nation they came from, and eliminate it from the Mortal Plane.

After plenty of searching, and destroying other lesser cities for information, or occasionally for venting, she'd found it. The Sun Kingdom of Southsea. Lairah eagerly sent word, to be sure that Lyras would be watching. He responded to her "Wait until dawn, of the next day. I want to see how much you can put out all at once. Find the capital city, wait until dawn, then aim for a one-shot. The whole city, one go, no do overs, gone in an instant. If you can display that level of power befitting for your rank, you'll get your next promotional reward."

Next promotional reward? For destroying the capital city of one of earliest human civilizations? That in and of itself was not the daunting task. No, that would be the part where she has to take out the entire city, in one shot. Could... she actually do that? Lairah tilted her head to the side, staring off in the distance. This tree branch made a great place to rest relatively unseen, and with wings she could afford the thought time.

Could she, amass enough power in a single blow, to wipe out a large city? And if so, how precisely would she go about it? To cause that much damage, would require warping of space and probability, generating that much raw power would be too dangerous. Possible maybe, but too dangerous, and take too long, and leave the possibility of something actually dangerous having an opening. She has to do more with less, which means using space warping, and probability, even if the latter is her weakest subject.

Now humming, silently of course, and bobbing her head around, she considered which technique to use for this. The most recent one she'd been assigned to learn was a destabilization orb. In more precise terms, abusing space to create a small pocket dimension, and using her own knowledge of the mechanics of reality and infinity as well as probability to fashion it's own laws, design an interaction with the normal Space for them, and keep it stable during this process until finished, at which point, all one need do is give a direction for the force, and then just. Let. Go. What results is that in mere seconds the orb destabilizes from interaction with standard reality and collapses catastrophically, the displacement it temporarily made in space causing a relatively small, but intensely powerful crushing effect, that would evaporate large amounts of space.

One big enough to destroy a city would have be hundreds of times larger than what she has actually practiced with, of course, it being noteworthy her practice orbs have been roughly the size of pebbles. This no technique to rush into, nor easily learned, and exceptionally dangerous. Yet the very nature of this task suggests he wants her to push far beyond what she's ready for. No other option fit's it... is it a different kind of test?

Akuryo, Goddess of Soul, Chaos/Harmony, and Miracles

Late in the days of creation, Lenu, the wise Creator God, had already given live to most deities of the sky. A missing piece still existed, though, for in his infinite universe, there were innumerable souls of both good and bad. There was a constant, unbalanced, unpredictable shift in their energies, their conflict, which would change the very way the universe functioned, by removing it's sense of balance. In the late stage of all it's progress, such a missing function could damage all their work, or even destroy it.

To settle this, Lenu created the youngest of the Gods and Goddesses, Akuryo. With an unstoppably kind heart, and the happy and innocent demeanor of her youth, her soul and heart were the very best that could be chosen, for a duty so grand as to be the keeper and protector of souls, and the force which balances their feud. In an instant after being created, Akuryo synced herself to the universe, and sensed every soul that had ever been, and the many more she would create.

The energy of souls was everywhere, and to create her domain, Akuryo summoned all that energy which was free, and from each soul already that was, she took a small bit, including her own, to add to the marvelous Singularity, creating for herself and for all creatures, a common birthplace. From her seat in the fields of energy, she creates, repairs, revives, and restores all. She uses her connection to every soul, and provides miracles of a form and strategy not quite met by the other deities, and in doing so she creates the eternal balance the universe needs; Chaos and Harmony, equal, and in conflict, for all time under her gaze.

Hou Min was reviewing the invasion army and listed them out. "500 Horse Archers, 300 Longbow Archers, 200 crossbow Archers, 7,900 foot soldiers, 50 cultivators, and 50 array masters. " "That should be enough" Kong Hui thought. He was also armoured and was going to fight in this war alongside his generals. "Start the invasion!" He ordered.

The 50 cultivators drew up their powers and released fireballs at the border city of the Sunkingdom. Cries rang out as fire spread and explosions occurred. It was a surprise to them. The horseback Archers were then released to go into the city and attack the occupants and soldiers. Meanwhile, the foot soldiers calmly marched into the city along with the rest of the army.

There were few casualties on the army since they were able to capture the Sunkingdom border city from surprise. At the end of the battle, the border city became a part of the Xia Empire and the anthem rang out in the city.

The Grene Knyght wrote:"Wait," Said Urhoh, "Your book. I shall return it. Only give me time, that my priest-scholars might copy it. We would learn your ways. And of yours, oh great Shalan. And of the ways of all the gods under Lenu, both greater and lesser. I have been blind, up until now, and now I see. For this, I thank you, Lucien the Undying"

Lucian frowned, yet bowed to the god. "As you wish." When he returned of his realm, he turned to the mortal. "There in lies the problem, mortal, for the copy you hold is of an older ilk, one that contains falsies and inaccuracies." He transformed the scythe back in to its sword form. "My father wishes to correct this before he allows others to see the teachings of him and his people. On top of this, the falsies in the book would corrupt any knowledge you attempt to gleam from it."

He paused. "I shall make you a bargain, mortal. Give me the book, and I will return with a revised copy, one that would be much more helpful."
