[Goa uld Empire]

Lady Amaterasu was coming back from the cargo room of her Ha'tak Mothership, when she saw her Prime Jaffa coming towards her along the hallway to the Pel'tak. When the Jaffa came near, she stopped, looking at him. The Jaffa bowed his head a little and spoke in Goa'uld, still not looking at Amaterasu.
Prime Jaffa: "My Queen, we are near our destination."
Amaterasu: "Good. Has there been any problems with the technology?"
Prime: "The naquadah generators are halndeling well."
Amaterasu smiled: "Good. Prepare the Jaffa and meet me at the Pel'tak."
Prime: "Yes my Queen."
Amaterasu walked past him after which he rised his head and headed towards the Glider bays.

When the Prime Jaffa came back to the Pel'tak, the fleet has just exited Hyperspace.
Prime bowed his head again: "Gliders are ready."
Amaterasu smiled as she looked through the holographic window, looking at the Stars near the edge of a new Galaxy.
She turned towards the Prime: "Good."
She went towards the control device, placed her right arm with an open palm turned towards the crystal-like tubes that are glowing red. Several paralel processes were started, that at the end focused on several satelites and planets in a speciic nerby system.
Amaterasu stopped, turned back and walked to her seat. She slowly sat down, stayinc completely silent for a second.
Suddenly, she looked at the Prime Jaffa: "Take us to the most populous planet."

The Prime bowed and went to do what he is told, soon taking Amaterasu's Mothership in the orbit of the only habitable planet in the system. Her spaceship was followed by several Ha'tak ships that surrounded the planet.
Amaterasu opened comms with her fleet and gave the order to position above the biggest settlements of the planet, low enough so everyone can see them and await her command to release the Gliders.

Planet of Est, City of Suurlinn.

Although it is noon, the sky above Suurlinn is dark with clouds, as a heavy storm has been pouring down water upon the city for hours.
The population doesn't mind it much, though. Everyone has gotten used to the darkness and thunder, which plagues most of the planet throughout the years. The streets are busy with workers and slaves, who all have more important things to worry about than being wet.

In one of the skyscrapers, the CEO of the EV Raudne company, Mr. Niar Tomasenpoek, is sitting in his office and watching the gray, polluted rain hitting the windows, as he lights up a cigar. Sounds from the hallway catch his attention, and he turns to face the door of his office, seconds before one of his employees burst through, panting. A small card attached to his shirt shows his name and company ID. 'Tiitus B. - Employee #3216'.

Niar Tomasenpoek: "Something wrong?"
Tiitus B.: "S-Sir, the... w-we... we lost signal to the colony."
Niar: "I don't pay you to suck up the air from my office. Now what the heck do you mean?"
Tiitus: "S-Sorry, sir... I mean, we lost all contact to the mining operations on Param. Our messages aren't going through, and we haven't received anything from them. We can't ping their servers, or even the satellites."
Niar: "What the heck is a ping?"
Tiitus: "It's when you send a-"
Niar: "Wait, I don't actually care. How much money are we losing?"
Tiitus: "Well, it's hard to say when we have no idea about what has happened, sir. This shouldn't even be possible, we had three backup systems to ensure that we'd always have some kind of a connection."
Niar: "Alright, I guess I'll have to go check up on the situation myself."
Niar leans down towards his desk, pressing a small button to activate the microphone on it. "Ready up a ship for me, I gotta go to Param. Right now." He says.

After some time, a ship has been prepared hastily for the CEO, on a launch site right in the middle of the city, connected to the company's skyscraper office. A small crew is standing out in the rain in front of ship, as Mr. Tomasenpoek arrives, accompanied by a small security team of ten personal guards, as well as Tiitus, who was dragged along for the trip. "Well, what are you waiting for? Time is money, people!" Mr. Tomasenpoek says. A few of the crew members head into the ship right away, but a couple of them stay right where they are, as if they were frozen in place. "What's the matter with you people? Get in the ship, or I will fire you right now on this spot!" Mr. Tomasenpoek yells out at the remaining crew members.

He notices that the crew's eyes seem to be fixed on the sky, and so he turns around, noticing some figures in the clouds. Soon after that, an alien spaceship descends through the layer of clouds, a design completely unlike anything found on Vabamaa, and larger than any ship they've ever seen. After a moment of silence, Tiitus leans closer to the CEO. "Sir, uh... I think this may be the reason why we've lost signal." As the alien ship hovers over the city, anti-air missile systems and flak cannons mounted on the tops of buildings across the city turn to aim towards the ship, but none dare to open fire. All air traffic steers away to make way for the unidentified ships.

"Everything on our planet should still work, right? Like... communications, and all that. Right?" The CEO replies to Tiitus. "Yes, sir." Tiitus simply says back. The CEO then heads for the command center of the launch site right away. The moment he enters the room, he begins to yell out orders. "First off, I want every missile, flak gun and rifleman I own aimed at those ships, right now. Second, get me a way to speak to whoever or whatever is on those ships." He says as he heads up to the main seat in the command center, sitting down as he waits for his technicians to do all the work for him. Several other companies are doing the exact same thing already, trying out every signal they can to attempt making contact with these alien ships.

"My Queen, they seem to be turning some kind of primitive weaponry towards us", said the Prime Jaffa as they detected cannons and other weapons aiming at the spaceship.
Amaterasu just smirked. Prime Jaffa jumped in before she could say anything: "It seems they are attempting to contact us."
Amaterasu: "Let us hear them then."

The message was played in the Pel'tak of her Mothership, but nobody could understand the language. Amaterasu ordered the message to be played in their language database to find similarities, and ordered the Prime to open contact to her fleet. As he did, she ordered them to do the same thing that she soon ordered her Prime Jaffa: "Release the first line of Gliders. Target their weapons, destroy the highest structures. But make sure at least four specimen are transported to the laboratory for testing, i want to know their language."

As the Gliders were released from glider bays of spaceships across the planet, the Ha'tak ships fired at the weapon systems and the tallest buildings with their plasma cannons. At the same time, Gliders opened fire randomly on the ground, destroying buildings, vehicles and streets. A few of them headed to find four people to transport to Amaterasu.

It took a moment for the defense systems to respond to the attacks, as the weapon crews waited for permission from their bosses to open fire. But as they finally got the word to pull down the trigger, the sky was filled by bullet tracers and missiles. Even on the ground, security personnel would fire their small arms at the smaller alien ships, while the streets were in a chaos as workers and slaves tried to seek cover.

Armed aircraft and helicopters were soon off the ground and firing on the invaders, but their weapons did nothing, all the bullets and explosions were easily absorbed by the shields, not even making a scratch on the ships. Everything possible was being thrown at the ships in a desperate attempt to find a weakness, as trucks carrying rocket artillery began setting up and firing.

The Gliders quickly found suitable targets to capture out on the streets, in the middle of the chaos. A worker, and two slaves were transported onto the Goa'uld ship by teleportation rings. A fourth target was soon found, a man wearing a fancy suit, holding onto the cigar in his mouth with one hand as he was running out from a command center next to a spaceship launch site. Out in the open, he was an easy target to capture and teleport.

As the chaos continued, the Glider carrying four people arrived back in the Mothership. One of the Jaffa stood in front of the prisoners with his Staff weapon, pointing at them with his other hand: "Lo! Kree!"
As the prisoners did not understand what he said, the other Jaffa started pushing them forward, walking to the cell room. They pushed the prisoners in the cell and closed it. Only two of the Jaffa stopped at the doors, standing on each of their end.

After some time has passed Amaterasu entered the cell room with two of her Jaffa and her Prime Jaffa. She slowly walked around the cells, looking at the prisoners. She stopped and pointed at the two of the prisoners, and spoke in a deep Goa'uld voice: "Lo!"
She turned towards her two Jaffa and spoke with the same voice: "Jaffa! Kree!"
The Prime opened the cell door, after which the two Jaffa grabbed the two prisoners Amaterasu picked and tok them away, through the hall towards the laboratory where they will be examined. The Prime closed the door again, and went out of the room with Amaterasu.

Meanwhile, the Ha'taks and Amaterasu's Mothership released three large ships called Al'kesh. The Al'kesh released plasma charges while they were above the city, adding to the chaos. They soon went to the area outside the city where they could land and unload the Jaffa.

The prisoners were CEO Niar Tomasenpoek, a worker named Liis Matneiu, and two slaves, Ova Jarv and Uksukskaks. For the latter slave, this was not his real name, but rather his slave ID in Vabamaa numerals, "112", which had turned into a nickname over time. He was never given a name as his owner didn't bother with naming all two hundred recently bought slaves.

The four prisoners stared at this person, who seemed so human, but also so alien when dressed in strange armor, shouting out words in a language they did not understand.
Niar decided to speak up first. "What is the meaning of this? You have no right to attack my private property like this, and most definitely cannot kidnap me in this fashion!" He yells at the Jaffa in the Vabamaa language, the cigar barely hanging onto the corner of his mouth as he speaks. As a second Jaffa pushes him, he turns around. "Get your hands off of me, you piece of trash!" He shouts out. The Jaffa responds to this by grabbing the cigar out from his mouth and swiftly disposing of it by throwing it onto the floor and stomping it. "Hey, hey! You will pay for that cigar, one way or another!" The CEO shouts, his voice only becoming fiercer while the rest of the prisoners are fearing for their lives.

The Jaffa begin pushing the prisoners down the hallway, the CEO violently resisting throughout the whole time, while the rest of the prisoners are fairly used to being pushed around, so they just accept it. "What do you think they plan on doing with us?" Ova asks quietly from Liis. "If they wanted to kill us, I think they'd have done it already... maybe they see something special in us?" She whispers back. Uksukskaks only silently stares down at the floor while walking. As the prisoners are forced into the cell, the two slaves sit down on the floor, whilst Liis leans against the wall. The CEO begins pacing back and forth around the cell, still furious.

As soon as Amaterasu entered the room, Niar looked at her, noticing the authoritative appearance on her, and moved to stand as close to her as he could within the cell. "Release me immediately!" He shouts at her. Amaterasu seemingly didn't care about what he had to say, only pointing at him and Uksukskaks sitting on the floor next to him, and giving an order to the Jaffa to grab them and take them away. "Stop! Let me go! I could own you!" the CEO shouts as he is being taken out of the room, his voice disappearing behind the closing door.
The two prisoners who remained in the cell, Liis and Ova, look at each other. "Well... I guess we weren't special enough for them?" Ova says.

While some companies and individuals would choose to keep fighting the invading fleet above the city, others would begin evacuating themselves, their workers and slaves, and most importantly, their valuables. Convoys of vehicles are driving out of the city on the highways, while armed forces are coming in to attack the ships. One convoy of trucks carrying artillery pieces spots the landing Al'kesh ships, and stops on a field next to the highway to begin firing upon the Jaffa who are unloading from the ships.

On the ground the Gliders continued attacking the planet, some of them targeting the lines of vehicles with people trying to flee the cities. Many vehicles were destroyed, and the plasma charges that missed made huge holes in the street and ground. The goal was to keep everyone in the city, so they soon started attacking buildings which collapsed on the streets, blocking ways out. Some however already managed to escape, while others were hunted down by the Gliders.

In the area where Tel'taks landed, the Jaffa started going in cover as soon as first shells of the artilery started falling. Several Jaffa were knocked back and were lying unconscious, some of them badly wounded. While the Jaffa in cover opened fire on the artilery with their Ma'tok staff, they were joined by a few Gliders that also opened fire. Jaffa that didn't exit the Tel'taks started rushing towards the unconscious Jaffa, dragging them towards the Gliders that were hovering behind Tel'tak bombers. The Glider full of wounded Jaffa transported them by transportation rings and left towards Amaterasu's Mothership. Once inside, the Jaffa were taken to the specialy designed rooms to rest, so the symbiotes can try to repair the damage.

While Amaterasu was walking with her prime Jaffa to the Pel'tak, he informed her of the problems with one of the prisoners who is ressisting, while the others were listening to orders. He also told her that the troublemaker is one of the two guys she picked She told him to tell the Jaffa to paralyze the troublemaker if needed. Amaterasu also ordered him to bring the other two who stayed in the cell to the guest room. Prime Jaffa bowed and went to carry out his orders while Amaterasu continued walking through the halls to the Pel'tak.
The two prisoners that Amaterasu picked to be examined were placed to sit in a chair with the device that will get the needed information, while the troublemaker being restrained in the chair. When they sat down they both lost consciousness. During this time, Amaterasu went to see the Jaffa wounded on the ground. She talked with some of them, and ordered the Symbiotes to exit their hosts if they could not heal them. A few of them did, and were placed in an aquarium with water until the next host arrives, as usual. The bodies of the dead Jaffa were moved to the cargo room, where they were sent to their home planets through the Stargate that was onboard.

At the same time the device was extracting the needed information, the other two prisoners were escorted from their cell to the guest room. As they walked on their own with four Jaffa directing them, they were showed to the door of the guest room. Two of them then lead them in, closing the doors and standing on each of it's end inside the room.
The room was luxurious, with a lot of golden statues and other artifacts most of which were somehow representing Amaterasu. There was a table from the finest wood and several chairs. On the table there was some usual fruit(applies, grapes), along with some that was unique to the Amaterasu's domain. There were also two silver ewers on the table, one with water and another one with red wine, around which there were several silver goblets. There were also two beds on each end of the room.

After the extraction process has been completed, Amaterasu used the Kara Kesh device to fast download the extracted information, among which was the language the people of this world could understand. The two prisoners in the lab were asleep and not expected to awake for a while, so they were carried out of it. The troublemaker was placed back into the cell, with the Jaffa guarding him, while the other specimen was carried and placed onto a bed in a second guest room with the exact same style and the same equipment, food and drinks as the first.
Some time later, Amaterasu went to the room with the two subjects that were not in the lab to interrigate them. She had her two elite Jafa, the Emperor's Hand Guard, with her. As soon as the door opened, she entered and nodded to the two Jaffa already standing inside the room. They bowed their heads a little and left, while the two Jaffa of the Emperor's Guard tok their positions. Unlike the Jaffa, they were not carrying Ma'tok Staff Weapons, only swords could be seen in their sheath. As the door closed, Amaterasu slowly walked towards the table and tok a seat. She smiled proudly and extended her hand towards the table full with fruit and the two ewers, offering them to the prisoners.
After a while she spoke in the prisoner's native language, in a normal human voice: "I am Queen Amaterasu. This Solar System is now mine."
Amaterasu paused, looked at each of the prisoners after which she looked at the slave: "Now tell me. What crimes did you and your comrade commit?"

Most of the artillery group is destroyed by the Jaffa counter-attack before they can fire off a second volley, but the remaining vehicles flee on the highway, and the surviving crew members hide behind the wrecks and in the field, armed with pistols and carbines, firing shots at the Jaffa from cover.

As it became clear that the larger spacecraft couldn't be damaged, attacks shifted away from them, and were instead aimed at the Gliders and the ground troops. Anti-air emplacements on the edge of the city aimed down at the Jaffa on the ground if they could, firing flak fire and missiles at them as long as they could until the Gliders took down the buildings where they were placed. One Glider's strafing run on the edge of the city took down a wall on factory, where several hundred slaves had been trapped after their overseers escaped as soon as the fighting had began. The slaves had no idea about what was truly going on outside, they had only heard explosions and gunfire. They began escaping from the burning factory through the destroyed wall, some of them running out in panic to the field and straight towards the Jaffa and their landing ships.

Meanwhile, onboard the Mothership, Niar was still furious, but becoming tired of resisting, as breathing in the polluted air of the city throughout his life hadn't been good for his lungs, so he finally accepted this treatment. Niar and Uksukskaks entered the room with two chairs and sat down on them, having no idea about what was about to happen to them. Instantly, they became unconscious as their minds were searched for information.

At the same time, Liis and Ova were being taken to the guest room. They were nervous about what was going to happen to them, but they still did as the Jaffa ordered them to, not wanting to cause any trouble as it'd likely worsen their situation. They were surprised when their room was shown to them, it looked like something only the richest of the rich could afford on Vabamaa. Ova looked at both of the guarding Jaffa in the room, before he quickly headed over to the table, sitting down to quickly grab a couple of apples to eat, as he hadn't ate anything in several days. Liis sat down with him a moment later, reluctant to eat the fruit as it could be poisonous, so she only rested and thought about what would happen next.

The prisoners were startled slightly as they heard the door suddenly open, and they turned their heads to see Amaterasu and her guards. As Amaterasu sat down and spoke, Liis looked at her, while Ova took some more fruit to eat while looking down at the table, only occasionally glancing up. He noticed Amaterasu looking down at him after asking the question, and he nervously replied: "I... I-I haven't done anything, your... majesty, I guess? What do you mean?"
Liis quickly added to this, before neither Amaterasu or Ova could say another word. "Uh... your... majesty, why did you attack us? We haven't done anything to you or your people, I'm sure. Now, if you're here to only conquer us for resources or whatever it is that you seek, you should know that everyone on this planet is willing to fight to the death to protect their property."

As the remaining artilery withdrew, the Jaffa moved in to secure the area, supported by the Gliders most o which has now concentrated on advancing towards the city. During that time several more Al'kesh ships landed transporting even more Jaffa. One of them was also transporting a Stargate and the diling device, that the Jaffa were setting up in the middle of the land. Divisions of Jaffa marched patrolling the area, some of which started constucting tall and slim cannon-like buildings.

Onboard the Mothership, Amaterasu suddenly looked at Liis when she started talking. She frowned and spoke, now in a deep Goa'uld voice: "You will speak when spoken to." After finishing the sentence her eyes glowed with a white light for a second.
Then Amaterasu turned to Ova, continuing in a normal voice after a very short pause: "I know two of you are slaves. What i do not understand is why were you enslaved."

The Goa'uld can speak in a normal voice like any other human, but they can also speak with a Goa'uld voice which is much deeper. Here is a short example of how a male Goa'uld voice sounds like, so you can get an idea on how a female voice could sound.

The weapons of the defending forces were no match to the Jaffa and their spaceship support. The remaining holdouts were efficiently cleared out, with most of the defending forces fighting to death, and only few surrendering. The slaves were eager to offer themselves up for capture by the Jaffa, however.

Liis leaned back in her chair, frightened by the response that she didn't expect. Ova looked at her for a moment, before looking back at Amaterasu. He was confused by what she said. "I... I've been a slave for as long as I can remember... since I was born, I think. Yeah. There's not really any reason to it. My parents were bought on the market, so the purchaser completely owned them, including any future children." He explains.

After a brief interrogation with the two prisoners, Amaterasu knew everything she needed. By now, the city of Suurlinn had fallen to the Jaffa ground forces, except for a few stubborn and hiding fighters.

Cities on the planet were mostly under controll of the Jaffa, while few resisstance groups still held on for a while until they were dealth with. The slaves that were captured were taken to the squares of the cities and lined up, directly under the Motherships. Everyone was waiting for something. Meanwhile the Stargate was ready for use, and the first groups of Jaffa from the Avalon Galaxy have started arriving.

Back in the room, Amaterasu frowned after hearing the slavery story. She didn't react untill all her questions were answered. Then she smiled and stood up, slowly walking towards the exit. In front of the door, she turned her head to the side enough so she can see the prisoners with a corner of her eye: "This solar system is now mine. And there are no more slaves in this solar system."
She walked out with her Guards with two Jaffa coming back to their positions in the room. Walking she was walking towards the Pel'tak she got the words that the last of the resisstance was taken care of.

Once in the Pel'tak, she ordered the Jaffa to connect her with all of the Motherships around the planet, so she can speak to everyone on the surface of the planet: "This solar system is now part of the domain of Queen Amaterasu of the Goa'uld Empire. Queen Amaterasu declares the slaves of this world free. All laws you followed until now are abolished and you will all follow the laws of the domain from now on." After a short pause the voice continued: "Do not dissapoint me."
As her voice echoed through the air, Gliders continued flying over the cities, but this time nobody fired their weapons.

Ova appeared to be happy to hear these words from the System Lord, while Liis didn't seem to be so pleased. After leaving the room, Ova turned towards Liis. "Did you hear that? We're all gonna be free! Finally!" He says. "But at what cost? They attacked us when we did nothing to them. And what if their rule is even worse?" Liis replies to him.

Hearing the announcement, cheers filled the cities as a large number of the captured people had been slaves until now. The worker class had mixed reactions to this, some cheering, while some were unsure about the future. The higher class, most of whom were hiding out in the ruins of the city, were not pleased to hear this, and were already ordering their remaining mercenaries and guards to fight the occupation, offering great rewards for anyone who kills a Jaffa and can show proof of it.
