Biography (more than 2 paragraphs, please): Maxwell was born in the Dutch city of The Hague but was raised in his father's hometown Chicago after moving there at the young age of 6. His grand father was an Dutch Korean War veteran who moved to the United States after the war with his Indonesian wife, who had fled her home country after Indonesia gained it's independence.

Due to his double nationality, Maxwell quickly learned to fluently speak English. Despite the fact that he lived most of his life in the States, Maxwell was proud to be Dutch and very patriotic. One of his most remarkable personality traits was that he was brave, he didn't seem to be afraid of anyone or anything, which did get him into trouble sometimes. He was also kind of anti social, as he preferred to be alone and had very few friends.

As he enter his teens, Maxwell found out that he loved video games, and would spend most of his free time either in the local arcade hall, behind his home gaming computer or on his Gameboy. Despite this, he still managed to stay fit, as he was part of his school's basketball team. He was also a huge wrestling fan.

After graduating at Chicago University in ITC at the age of 18, Hendriks decided to move to The Netherlands to live there. After a few weeks of temporary, low paid work, Maxwell joined the Dutch Marine Corps. During his training, Maxwell would excel at the shooting range, and was offered to follow sniper training, but refused, as he preferred to be fighting on the frontlines rather than sitting in the back with an long range rifle.

His callsign, "Barricade", originates from when during his second tour in Iraq in 2008, he and his unit were ambushed during an patrol by Iraqian forces. Hendriks took multiple shots to the torso but still managed to stand and fight, getting 13 comfirmed kills in the progress untill reinforcements arrived, then passed out.

After that, he was offered to join the NLMARSOF, which was the special forces branch of the marine corps. Maxwell accepted and went through special training after his recovery. He, once again, succeded and has been involved in multiple blackops.
