I'm obviously not a fascist, but it is accurate in the individual axes. Mostly.

Fairly accurate, but not great. I'm more of an anarchist than a libertarian.

EDIT: retook it this morning, paid more attention while answering. This is more accurate.

Sounds about right - social liberalism is center/center-left, which is approximately what I am. But also a patriot.

OK, it seems I am a libertarian socialist.

Is that even possible? I thought libertarians were pro-capitalism.

There are a variety of forms of libertarianism. Most who actually use the label "Libertarian" (Such as myself) tend to be more economically conservative/supportive of capitalism. However, most socialists are very libertarian in their stances on social issues and civil liberties. So the moniker "libertarian socialist" may be slightly misleading, in that the emphasis lies more on the second word than the first. But positions like pro-LGBT, pro-abortion, pro-drug legalization, are indeed libertarian stances.

OK, so maybe it would be less ambiguous to call it ''liberal socialism.''

Thanks for the clarification :)

I got "Libertarian Communist".

Most tests like this make the mistake of labelling me as a communist; I'm not, because to me a communist is someone who wants to achieve their aims through revolution; while my positions may be radically left-wing, I am committed to achieving them through democratic reform. Many have criticized me for this being "unrealistic", but I think there's potential it could work.

I'm a "libertarian socialist" as well. I never thought those two words could go together. I guess it makes sense since I like a lot of the points of both ideologies, but I don't completely agree with either of them.

I think when they mean libertarianism, they mean the general, small l libertarianism that emphasizes personal freedoms. Unfortunately, the American-style, big L, capitalist-biased libertarianism has become dominant in the discourse, and which I find distasteful, although I still agree with many of their points.

I've eased- somewhat- back into the sphere of liberalism lately though with many regrets and concerns about other adherents' behavior vis a vis capitalists and the public. I don't consider myself a centrist.

My values are rooted in convictions related to m Mennonite faith.

So, I have no place within the algorithms of these tests.

I oppose war and the death penalty. Liberal!

I oppose abortion.Conservative!

I favor open borders. Liberal!

I value our traditions. Conservative!

I care about the poor. Liberal!

I want to see people work to help themselves. Liberal!

See where this is going? My stance makes no success onless you can stand in my place, which is basied upon the Sermon on the Mount, and look outward from there.

I found the questions on this quiz to be somewhat vague and open to interpretation. I also thought that some of the ideological categorisations were frankly bizarre. I took the test three times, changing my answers slightly each time, and managed to get Autocracy, Right-Wing Populism and Theocratic Distributism. I'm posting the last one because it seems the most accurate for me, although I wouldn't dub myself as "theocratic." One thing I did like was the way that it measured traditional values and authoritarianism separately, as many quizzes of this sort seem to treat social conservatism and authoritarianism as if they are interchangeable, which is self-evidently nonsense as "progressive" authoritarian regimes have been fairly common in our recent history.

My results.

No, that would be an oxymoron, since capitalism is an integral part of liberalism as an ideology. "Libertarian" is simply the antonym to "authoritarian;" as a label it has nothing to do with economics. Americans somehow managed to turn it into a label for what the rest of the world would call classical liberalism, i.e. liberalism in terms of social policy allied to free market economics.

I got Social Liberalism. I'd have thought I'd end slightly on the nation side instead of slightly on the world side and I think the test put me maybe a bit too strongly on the equality end of the economic spectrum, but overall it seems fairly accurate.

I was classified a "neo-liberal," although, admittedly, a lot of the questions covered issues that I am ill-informed on, so I answered "Neutral/Unsure" on them.
