Secret Identity: Sophia Agnarmac
Alias: The Violet Seer
Age: 22
Personality: Although she tries to assert herself as an experienced and professional hero, Sophia's occupation as a former Villain has forever stained her reputation, and she's used to trading banter with other League members. Unwilling to back down from a fight or argument, she can come across as extremely confrontational. Her stubbornness is well known, but she's at the very least known to fight for the cause she believes in with a fanatic fervor. Being a former Villain herself, she often tries to convince other Villains to embrace a better way of life, though she's not unwilling to combat them if need be. Some of her former violent tendencies bleed through into her new behavior every so often, resulting in the maltreatment of others, and a fierce reprimand by the League. She takes care to direct any excess anger towards her enemies solely.

Powers/Skills:

• Sin Detection: Sophia can use her 'Cursed Eye' to see the sins and crimes of those she gazes upon. When doing so, she relives the events that occurred. It is often useful for the purpose of interrogations and investigations.
• Memory Manipulation: When reliving the sins of others, Sophia can choose to 'absolve' them of their sin, and permanently rip the memory of the misdeed from their mind. In exchange, Sophia must place the memory among her own, believing herself to be the perpetrator of the crime committed by another. This is a Seldom used ability, more often used for the well being of others.
• Mystical Martial Arts: When her eye is unmasked, Sophia can move with precision and grace in combat. Her combat is swift, and deadly, often with the poise of someone who had practiced for decades, and packing a surprisingly lethal punch if needed. Using the sins she's collected, Sophia can empower herself with the deviancy of others to improve her reflexes, strength, durability, and push her body to superhuman peak performance.

Weaknesses: Guilty: She is easily angered by reminding her of her criminal past, and accusations of how she can never truly be 'redeemed' or become a 'True hero'.
Power-Induced Nightmares: It's not easy to literally bear the sins of others inside you. Always being aware of the horrific deeds of others keeps Sophia up at night sometimes. Other times she's left reeling for hours at the severity of the depravity she witnesses.
Backstory: Growing up, it was always hard being bullied in school and known as the girl with the 'weird eyes'. Many found her gaze unnerving, and others outright referred to her as a 'Witch'. For Sophia, all she wanted was for her damnable power to go away. What many saw as a simple case of 'creepy eyes' or whatever derogatory term they preferred, for Sophia it was much worse. Since elementary school, she could see all teh terrible things her classmates and teachers alike did. This would include random strangers on the street eventually as well, as Sophia grew older and she ventured to more places other than school and home.

The girl hated it more than anything. It was disgusting, it cost her sleep, and she could never look those she knew in the eyes the same way ever again. To be privy to someones most private secrets and deeds was something that Sophia desperately wanted to be free of. In fact, it was when she came close to personally removing her own eyes via self mutilation that she was contacted by an envoy claiming to be with someone known as 'The Society'. They claimed that they could help Sophia, and that her power was not a curse, but a gift and proof of how special she truly was. She was a meta after all. A desperate and unstable Sophia didn't care what she had to do, all she wanted was to control this god-forsaken power of hers.

For almost a year, Sophia undertook small and average jobs for the Society. Most would be seen as being committed by 'small fry' and would likely slip underneath the notice of the League, but as the crimes accumulated and went unsolved, the League would eventually send someone to investigate.

To her surprise, Sophia would be confronted one night by a masked man who claimed to be part of the 'League' that she had been warned about by the Envoy. Without even exchanging words, Sophia attacked the hero, but being the inexperienced and petty robber she was, she had little experience in fighting a full-fledged Hero. Soon, it was off to the precinct to be interrogated and questioned. Well, interrogated wasn't quite the right word, as she broke relatively quickly in her despair. The knowledge that she would never receive the reprieve from her powers that she was promised by the Society caused a deep melancholy to rise up, but to her surprise, the League would not opt to toss her away and place her behind bars. Some were indeed sympathetic to the plight of the unstable Meta and her powers, and she was placed under the protection and guidance of some of the League's finer heroes as a potential asset for rehabilitation and recruitment.

Only recently has Sophia been accepted fully into the League, a new member like so many others, but she too was privy to the dwindling numbers of the League as others opted to go rogue and Villainy would rise at a greater pace over the years. Even so, she was grateful to the League for what they had done for her, and would even now fight to protect its ideals.

Alias: Nymphaeaceae/Water Lily

Age: 40 years old

Personality: Unreliable, selfish, and independent. Brooklynn only wishes to flow like a river, never wanting to approach stagnation in anyway shape or form. To do so would cause boredom, and that is a point that should never crossed. In general, she only cares for herself and her desires. Even in her time with the Society, she was considered a wildcard, because of her ever changing whim and would actively miss missions that she didn't want to particularly partake in. Whenever she did join, it was due to the great incentive that was given, whether it be wealth or just messing with people. Everything she does is for herself, anything that happens because of it was collateral. And her personality didn't change, even when she joined the League.

Powers/Skills:

• Hydrokineses: From her surroundings, Brooklynn can control any liquid water with her will and mind alone. Although, she often uses her hands and arms to visually control the water for people around her, whether it be for theatrical purpose or others. And like most users, will use this as a form attack, whether it be by sending continuous streams of water, turning them in projectiles, or making water tentacles to lengthen their reach for more physical attacks. In addition, this allows her to shape the water into whatever forms she please, the most common being giant spherical blobs, walls of water, or thin spear like forms to freeze and throw. Lastly, with great concentration and desperation, Brooklynn can even use moisture in the air or from large amounts of steam.
• Freezing: Through contact, whether it be with bare hands or using water that's she's touching, she can slow down an object molecules to a halt and sap away the thermal energy. More often than not, she'll simply just drench her target with water and freeze that, as freezing anything else is troublesome.
• Water Puppetry: Using an advanced version of Hydrokinesis, Brooklynn taps into the water located in a living being to control their motor functions, both plants and animals alike.

Weaknesses: The same endurance, stamina, strength, and durability as a human being, anything that can hurt them seriously or fatally is applicable to her. In addition, if given a drug that decreases the ability to form coherent thoughts or incapacitated through violence, her ability to control water is negated. Also, her hydrokineses is only limited to liquid and gaseous water, lacking complete control of ice and has the limit being able to utilize 50,000 gallons of water maximum. And despite being able to put out fires, hot enough flames (really anything hotter) can turn it into steam, while electricity is her bane due to the conductive nature of non-distilled water. Regarding her ability to freeze things, it takes time, especially if its mass is high. And second to last, her Water Puppetry will only work on the weak or averaged will, as they can overcome her will over the water within them. Lastly, her Water Puppetry requires a bit of tunnel visioning to focus on her target and will only be able to control a single person.

Backstory: Born somewhere during 1977, Brooklynn never really knew her parents, orphaned at birth. Most of her childhood spent in a nondescript, antique, and broken down orphanage it bored her, being always the same thing on a different day. Heavily structured, it never changed until one day. Age five, a villain broke into the orphanage and took them all hostage, finally breaking the long stalemate between Brooklynn and boredom. While not exactly excited at the though of being held captive, something in her felt alive, the difference in how people reacted to them. Some merely followed the orders of the villain, which she was firmly in at the moment, others did everything they can to ensure everyone that was going be alright, there was those who cheered on the action of villain, while others simply kept questioning why they were doing this. To her surprise, she gave an answer with a smile, before not before looking at her directly.

"Because I want to."

For some reason, these four words resonated within her. And there, this woman who still smiled at her, as if knowing of how the young Brooklynn felt. The moment felt like it went for on for years, as a realization came to her and was only interrupted by the SWAT lead by a young league member, burst into the building. Things got out of hand real quick in the ensuing battle, the result being the destruction of half the building, more than two dozen people being hospitalized, and the death of the villainess. Among those that came out relatively unscathed, it saddened her to come upon the deceased villain, laying motionless on the dust covered floor, a smile on her face. Seeing this, the young hero placed a hand on her shoulder, telling her that everything is fine and will go back to normal. Hearing those supposedly comforting words, caused the stoic faced little girl to suddenly begin crying, breaking down into wails and a flow of salty tears. Thinking this to be tears of joy, the young man embraced the little orphan girl and patted her on the back. Meanwhile, the small girl only continued on bawling at the thought resuming the hell that she's been living everyday, until she wore herself out with the subconscious intent on never waking up. Concerned of her, the young hero personally carried her to the nearest hospital, in hopes that she'll feel more comforted when she awake surrounded by her fellow orphans.

Luckily for her, it seemed that everything had changed. After resigning to giving up on life, the dormant mutant gene in her activated, awaking her from self-imposed coma. In her absence, it was made clear her immediately that she had been adopted. Apparently, she didn't wake up for a nearly two weeks and had to be given nutrients and water through tubes and IV tubes to prevent her from passing on. The doctor tasked with keeping her alive, pitied her so condition, especially after hearing her story, asked for her to be adopted under his name. Given the last name of Golden, Brooklynn, it seems, finally escaped the giant frying pan that encompassed her life...

Only to be placed right into the fire. The first two years had been tolerable enough, recuperating and being essentially rehabilitated into a normal society, everything was new until it wasn't. Instead of the freedom she had hoped for, adoption was everything but. She was sent to a prestigious private school, the strict rules and order came back harder than ever, as if her life was nothing more than a toy to some cruel god. Sick of it all, Brooklynn did everything in her power to rebel after she turned eight years old. At first it was simply stealing small knickknacks from the stores they visited, doing so until she was eleven years old. Escalating, she began to sneak out from both house and school, doing whatever she wanted during those time, most commonly experimenting on her powers. Closer to her adult self, she began to participate in riots in the city at the age of sixteen, even inciting some herself. Prior to her becoming a legal adult, she had several charges under her belt, such as heavily drinking alcohol, taking several hardcore drugs, selling them herself, battery, and even prostituting herself twice just days prior to her becoming eighteen. By the time of her 18th birthday, Brooklynn was disowned by her adopted parents several months later and became a full-time anarchist. A menace more than anything, she had made name herself in the local area and would become a villain at the age of 24, when she was invited by several Society members to join them, loosely of course. Noting her strong distaste for organizations, she would only be called for missions where there was big pay off, whether it be large sums of money or causing as much chaos as she could. On average, Brooklynn would only take half of the mission she was offered in joining in, readily accepting those that took her out of country. Due to her most common niche within the group and disinterest in teamwork, was sent to be a distraction for most of the time. The outcome, she's fought many heroes from all around the world, and roughly an estimated 80% of all heroes from the League. To say that she's won all of those confrontation would be an outright lie, yet she'd be happy to tell you so. And so for nearly eight years, would continue to help the Society half of the time.

On her last day with the Society, having been sent to occupy the law enforcement for the bank robbery, did so with glee. This was despite the fact that lately, boredom had begun to creep up in her thoughts. For the first fifteen minutes it seemed everything was working out, and everything was in complete chaos, all because of her. She was having fun! Until one of the League members managed to slip by her and knocked her into unconsciousness. Forced to wake up, when she came to, found herself being "interviewed" by a mixed audience of League members and SID Agents. Given a choice of long incarceration or forming a contract to aid the League on occassion, she responded by asking as to why she'd help them at all, considering what she perceived as they stood for.

"Hmm, why would I want to help you?"

Pondering on that question, she discovered the answer to the feeling of boredom she's been feeling with the Society. After having fought the majority of the League, perhaps that would solve the creeping boredom. And so, Brooklynn would form a contract with her former enemies, for the sole purpose of fighting Society and Syndicate members.

BAsically a meta whose power, is simple, as long as they have the willpower to continue they are unnaffected by pain or injuries and can keep on regardless as long as they have the willpwoer to continue.

I'm sure if you compressed all the dialogue it would look much shorter. I read it and it seemed well-written to me. I'm sure we both have different criteria and interpretations of quality.

For me, Grammar an Consistency are some of my pet peeves, and you haven't erred on those yet.
