There’s something hilarious about solving Windhelm Serial Killer Spree after finishing that optional part of Dark Brotherhood quest there.

Am I the only one who destroys the Dark Brotherhood?

Every time. The furthest I've ever gotten in that questline is after Astrid welcomes me into the Falkreath Sanctuary. Every other time, I slaughter every one of them.

Of course, I always play a pro-Empire character with good morals. I honestly get bored being evil, I just wish I could destroy the Thieves Guild... fuck you Brynjolf, every Septim in my purse was earned through honest work you scam artist prick. I refuse to sell my soul to Nocturnal, fuck that, I'd rather usurp Miraak's spot as champion of old Herma-Mora.

I hate being a criminal. I hate having a bounty on my head. Somehow I always wind up a Stormcloak and siding with the Dark Brotherhood though. Siding with the Empire is tough if you side with the Dark Brotherhood and vice versa so I totally understand that. Still, in Skyrim, if no one saw you do it, you don't get a bounty and thus it isn't a crime. My conscience is clean

I destroy them too. I hate the Brotherhood because most of them are "I'm so evil and have no other characterizations beside that hahahahahaha" and their fanbase is basically as cancerous. I didn't even like them in Oblivion, except for Lechance.

Ugh, this.

I remember entering the Falkreath Sanctuary, finish speaking with Astrid, and then walking into the main chamber overhearing Babette brag about killing some dude and I kinda cringed when they all laughed. It seemed like something from a fanfic.

I feel like "Destroy Dark Brotherhood!" ought've been longer, and involving more detective work, but I guess having it more complex than what it was would've required revamping the allying with DB plotline, I guess, what with suddenly there being more than their current sanctuary (and abandoned Dawnstar one).

An inconsistent character is an unbelievable one. Character consistency is paramount, even in a virtual world :p

But there's no one to fight for after you finish the DB questline. You've already destroyed everything cool about the Empire.

I think the one time I ever joined the Legion I hated myself every minute and then did the DB questline afterward to cleanse myself of the bureaucracy.

Yes. It would've been cooler if it was longer, flesh out the Penitus Oculatus a bit and even make it an actual, joinable faction in which you actively work to destroy the Dark Brotherhood through clandestine operations and even get to save the Emperor himself from the eventual assassination attempt. That would make it all the more fun.

There was a lot of potential in Skyrim that was never tapped, however. For example, I believe there was originally going to be a way to join the Thalmor. Now, of course, obligatory "Fuck the Thalmor", but the very existence of such a feature would have been awesome for roleplay. Providing an alternative Main Quest setting in which you work with the Thalmor instead of the Blades. Really would have made things interesting, and could have even offered an alternative to the College of Winterhold questline.

They could have provided an alternative to the Companions questline too, fleshing out the Silver Hand to be more of an actual organization instead of some rehashed bandit group with silver weapons. Also disappointed the Silver Weapons only appear as swords and greatswords, which just seems ridiculous.

And again, I bring up the possibility of wiping out the Thieves Guild. So much potential in Skyrim, all wasted.

Let's be honest, the Silver Hand are the real protagonists of the Companions' questline.

Werewolves are clearly a threat to all of Skyrim, and a brave group of souls come together and forge special weapons to hunt down the vicious beasts, only to be slaughtered by two nutjobs obsessed with "hunting" and spilling blood, one of which probably stole her skimpy "armor" from a rotting corpse. The Silver Hand are the real heroes in all this. :p

Are they? The Companions have been werewolves for hundreds of years, yet they've been so quiet about it that no one even knows. Either they're masters of stealth, which they obviously aren't, or they don't go around killing citizens. They pose little threat. Meanwhile, the Silver Hand act like bandits and attack anyone who comes near them, even those who have no affiliation with the Companions or werewolves. Who are the dangerous ones here?

It's a joke m8.

The reason they attack random people is because they're just rehashed bandits, which is kinda disappointing as the only thing special about them is their silver swords. They're literally just bandits with silver swords. Lazy work by Bethesda, IMO. Technically speaking though, they only attack you if you get too close to their bases, unlike bandits which will attack you, guards, giants, the Legion, and really just about anybody out on the road or in the wilds, and rob people with their little "tolls" they have set up in Robbers' Gorge and Valtheim Keep. The Silver Hand technically don't attack you at all, unless you intrude on their territory. For all they know, you could be a werewolf.

I also have to ask how they found out about the Companions being werewolves, and why they never bothered to tell anyone. I mean, I'm sure few would believe them, but the very fact such a rumor doesn't exist seems unlikely. Skyrim loves rumors, after all.

I can kill everything in the Switch version with the Master Sword.

Awesome.

Only one thing - how much damage can it deal and can it shoot beams of death?

Huh. I wonder if they'll be stuff for more amiibos.

It'd be cool to have Fire Emblem stuff. Maybe they'll even gives us medieval versions of things from Metroid or Kirby or other completely unrelated franchises.

If Ninento focused more on getting third party games then there could be some fanfic tier combinations possible with the amiibos.
