Then why pick a PUNTER out of all of those possibilities? Common sense dictates that you don't draft a special-teamer in the early rounds unless he ends up as an exceptionally-good one.

He was a good punter in college.

Roberto Aguayo was a good kicker in college and got picked in the second round, but had a rocky season in his rookie year. Special-teamers aren't guaranteed to do well if they had an impressive college career.

Why did the Jags think the QB with a noodle arm is a better choice than a ferocious pass-rushing defensive lineman?

If the Texans get Romo, that'll be one hell of a game. The Panthers will get steamrolled, so will the Falcons and Chargers. Chiefs could give them some trouble.

The worst I see them going is 12-4, assuming the Dolphins can take one game and the Texans can get Romo. If those two things don't happen, there's still KC and the Raiders.

But at the same time, with Stephon Gilmore and two stud recievers now in Cooks and Julian, that team's going to be hard to beat.

Says the one who defended Deshaun Watson's 17 picks. Trever knight had 7 interceptions last year (on about 200 less attempts, granted), fewer yards per attempt, ya da ya, but on significantly less than twice the amount of attempts, Watson put up well over twice as many picks. Knight was also a better, and is a faster, runner. I didn't say he was going to be a star or anything, but he's my fave QB in this draft, at least. XD
