The date is January 20, 2017. In the United States, the President takes the oath of office-in North Korea, machinations brew, Europe struggles against new waves of populism, the Far Eastern nations glare daggers at each other over the South China Sea, while Africa struggles in its path towards modernity. The stage is set.
Welcome to Warfare 2017, a modern-day roleplay of politics, economics, and, of course, conflict. Take up one of the world's nations, and enshrine yourself as a power. Negotiate, intimidate, and even war on your rivals, or seek to forge alliances for the betterment of your nation-the choice is yours.
All nations are as they are today-the United Nations, NATO, the WTO-all still function, but the 21st Century may have turned out a little bit differently. From 2000 to the present, you can make changes to your nation's recent history under your rule-was Merkel ever elected? Perhaps Hussein was overthrown before his time? The decisions are yours.
So take a look at the applications, forge a nation, and joint the Great Game of politics-and politics by another means.

She then went to The University of Oxford graduated with a second class BA degree in 1977. Between 1977 and 1983 Theresa worked at the Bank of England, and from 1985 to 1997 as a financial consultant and senior advisor in International Affairs at the Association for Payment Clearing Services. Both Theresa's parents died during this period, her father in a car accident in 1981 and her mother of multiple sclerosis the year after. In 1997 Theresa stood for election for the newly created seat of Maidenhead. She was elected with 25,344 votes (49.8%) She then served in the shadow cabinet until the Conservatives came into power. When that happened in 2010 she was appointed Home Secretary. She was a key supporter for Britain to stay in Europe. When the votes came in and 52% of people wanted to leave the current Prime Minister resigned and she ran for the party's leadership. She won the leadership election and has been Prime Minister from 2016

Kiser was born in South Bend, Indiana to his two parents. When he was 14 they moved to Houston, Texas where Kiser went to high school. After high school Kiser attended Sam Houston State University earning his masters in History in only 4 years. Following that Kiser attended Harvard and got a Doctorates in Political Science in only 4 years. At age 28 Kiser was elected to the House of Representatives. Then at age 35 he was elected as Governor of Texas. After serving two terms Kiser ran for the US presidency and, after a hard fought battle with the Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, he was elected in the biggest political surprise of the decade having won the popular vote by 5 million and the electoral college by a landslide.

Biography of Leader Born in 1937 in British controlled Iraq, Hussein watched as Kin Fasil II of Iraq was overthrown in 1958 to create a military dictatorship known ironically as the Republic of Iraq. He first enjoyed their company and leadership until 1968, when he took power for himself, waiting for the military junta's top leaders were sent off on diplomatically fake missions and then quickly taking over the nation. Bribing anything that tried to disobey him and killing those that refused the bribes, he made Iraq form into a cult of personality for his 41 year and continuing reign. He has solidififed his political and military power, avoiding nuclear weapons and preparing his armies. in 1981, he went to war with Iran, costing him hundreds of soldiers and resulting in an inconclusive engagement. in 1990, he invaded Kuwait,resulting in the disastorous Gulf war, the resulting economic sanctions blasting his economy.
History of Nation (2000-2017) After the Persian Gulf War, Iraq's economy was in shambles. Hussein was allowed to stay on the throne of power, which angered many militia groups that wanted to break off from the empire after years of religious persecution and genocide, or at least see some one else on the throne of power. On September 10th,2001 Hussein authorized several million dollars to go towards several Ukrainian terrorists, who blew up a swedish airline over Lithuania. This caused the 95 day KJA-489 crisis, only solved by a quick thinking China who did not want Hussein to fall. in 2001, with the american invasion with response towards the September 11th attacks, Hussein fled the country in 2001 and would not return for 10 years, with a democratically corrupt regime in place of Hussein's one. This regime proves to be as incompetent as ever, with ISIS forming from the mess of the disbanded Iraqi army and power vacuum. Several Pro Hussein generals bring their commander out of hiding, culminating in the July 9th,2011 coup, Re installing the Baathist Iraq. Hussein has tried to paint himself as an ally of the Americans, consistently bombing ISIS or chilling with Erdogan in some Kurdish kebab.
