What?
Invading Brazil in the middle of economic crisis make it sounds way more strange than when Paraguay involved in a war with Brazil, Argentina, and Uruguay.

NS Nation Name:New Grestin
Nation Name:Greater Britannia
Character Position:Royal Chancellor
Character NameJustine Deckard
Flag of your nation:
One paragraph history of your country, faction, or unit:
Following the detonation of a dirty bomb in London in 2005, The United Kingdom was thrown into a state of borderline anarchy. Much of the Royal Family and Parliament were wiped out, rendering the government wholly inept. In the ensuing chaos, the remaining elements of the government reformed into a unified Nationalist Party. The Nationalist party helped establish an interim government, headed by the remaining Royal Family members. Among said members was Justine Deckard, who by some obscure connection, became the last remaining individual with a reasonable claim on the throne. The interim government became official in 2008.
The system was a constitutional monarchy, merging the position of Queen and Prime Minister into the Royal Chancellorship. Other laws were established, such as the Citizenship Act of 2011, requiring at least three years of military service before full citizenship could be attained. The nation's vast systems of surveillance were soon put to use under the Ministry of Security, allowing unparalleled control of the populace. Police became militarized over time in response to a revived Irish Republican Army, who had united with other British resistance groups. Education reformed under the new Nationalist doctrine, while widespread reeducation programmes helped shape public opinion.
Wielding executive powers, the Chancellor would act as the head of state alongside a National Council and the Judiciary. Wales and Scotland were established as provinces, similar to US States, with their own regional governments and legislature. A brief revolution of Scottish independence was quickly quelled by the British Army, returned from overseas conflicts to maintain the peace.
At the same time as the dirty bomb attacks of 2005, Ireland's government was nearly toppled by an attempted Islamist coup. Though mauled and mutilated, it survived until the Collapse of 2010. Under immense economic hardship and political strife, the Irish government would completely collapse. The United Kingdom, now having reformed as simply Britannia, intervened. Ireland was peacefully annexed into Britannia, forming Greater Britannia. Ireland would become a province of Britannia under it's own, newly elected provincial government.
Working from a platform of restoring the Empire to it's former glories, Greater Britannia looks enviously out at a world that has long since left it behind.

One paragraph history of your character:Born to a well off family in Manchester, Justine had little knowledge of her tangential royal ties until the Strife of 2005. Working at a legal firm at the time, she was located by the interim government and thrust into a position of power with barely a moment to catch her breath. Once the reality of the situation had set in, Justine found herself at the helm of a new European power. She began to sculpt the nation to her whims, consolidating her gains and eliminating political opponents. Taking inspirations from both the Fascist regimes of old and the country's vast imperial history, she molded the nation's image of her into a figure of reverence, guiding Britannia into a new, glorious age. Behind closed doors, she became feared by the rest of the Party, not just for her temper, but for her habit of exiling threats to her control to the Scottish Highlands or the Falkland Islands. More often than not, though, most would end up dead for one convenient reason or another.

Alright. Done. A combination of my original United Kingdom from the first thread and a Constitutional Monarchy and also a bit of authoritarianism.
I also am quite thrilled about the numbers I get when combining the militaries of Ireland and England, and I'm hoping reforming the Royal Colonial Navy will bolster the current setup even further.
