Whilst scrolling through GI? just now, I noticed something odd: Both a nation and its Ancient equivalent were online! (for reference: Bernardopolis (Ancient), Bernardopolis.) What's happening?
Both profiles show up as the same nation flag, but the Ancient nation doesn't connect to a live nation. The really odd thing is that there never was an ancient Bernardopolis. The first time that name was used was when the current player created the nation a couple weeks ago.
For what it's worth, my mod tool for resyncing the nation account with the forum timed out. I think this is one for [violet].
