Anti-Charismatic: While he has a well-versed vocabulary, his ability to interact with others doesn't show this, which is why he's preferred to not speak at all unless the situation demands that he talk. Given that people have gone on to call him "Mute," his reputation has given him an air of an inability to express himself. Even attempting laconic wit hasn't paid off.

Nonviolent Atom: Due to his violent experiences with Far Harbor's Children of Atom, Elijah has gone on to believe an interpret Atom's will as a nonviolent will. Ever since leaving the violence of the Children of Atom, he's continued to believe in Atom, yet fully denounces harming another living creature to the point of death - slight injuries and the occasional broken bone are forgivable but still inherently wrong. This has made him very much a burden to his comrades in the Minutemen, who would easily cast him out if he were not such a skilled field medic.

Weapons: Mute carries a Stun Security Baton, which he uses as a self-defense weapon. Even though it's highly possible - and more than once, the situation demands - for him to kill somebody with his security baton modified with electricity, he outright refuses to do so and even only uses the baton for worst-case scenarios.

Other Items: Mute wears a Minuteman Outfit w Ballistic Weave and a militia hat with a red cross on it, as well as an armband that also has a red cross on it. He carries two satchels containing bandages, Stimpacks, RadAways and other medical supplies, and in his pocket he has a small copy of Atom's Holy Book, as was given to him by the parents he no longer remembers. He also sometimes brings with him some irradiated food or water whenever he's about to go on his "Day of Isolation," wherein he eats and drinks only things that are irradiated, in devotion to Atom.

Bio Elijah was born into the Children of Atom from Far Harbor, it was the only family he'd ever known. His parents raised him not as a son that they love, but as a member of the family, one who must be raised by all under the banner of giving their lives to Atom, so he never really felt that close to his parents than anyone else. After seeing the three-way conflict between the residents of Far Harbor, DiMA's Acadia and the Children of Atom, as well as how much damage they caused to the already highly-irradiated wildlife of Far Harbor, Elijah felt that enough is enough and, disguised as just another resident from Far Harbor, boarded a boat and arrived in the Commonwealth at the age of 18, being picked up on the coast of The Castle, the Minutemen's own stronghold.

Being introduced to The Minutemen, he found some semblance of "the good fight" in their attempt to keep the Commonwealth free. Despite the Institute's conflict with the Children of Atom, the Minutemen defended him - albeit rather begrudgingly, as Elijah's been getting a lot of flak from the Minutemen for his unwillingness to kill. But they still keep him on regardless, as he's developed a reputation of being quiet, smart and fast as hell when it comes to firefights where a strong-willed (and not to mention strong-backed) medic is needed.

Elijah is now a kid of two worlds: He's held on to his faith in Atom and he believes he's fighting the good, nonviolent fight in the Minutemen. Where he goes from here is anybody's guess, but due to the recent divisions between the Institute and the Minutemen, they're going to need all the help they can get - even if that help isn't willing to pick up a laser musket and fire it, even if he technically won't be "killing," in the eyes of some, due to the synths' lack of life. It's all the same to Elijah though: flesh or steel, a creature is a creature is a creature and he's not going to destroy them for anything - probably not even his own life.

Bio: Born amongst the backwoods Swampfolk of Point Lookout Peter learned to shoot and hunt at a very young age. Unlike many parts of the Wasteland Point Lookout was never exposed to the Brotherhood of Steel or Enclave, the only outsiders being traders and fortune hunters the second being made quick work of by Peter and his kin. Peter often would come to the docks hauling Punga Fruit to be traded for supplies. it was during one of these encounters he got his hands on the Wasteland Survival Guide which would inspire him to go see this Capital Wasteland. He'd spend a few months in DC quickly disliking the roving tin cans that patrolled the road often trying to pick fights with Peter because of his size. He also found that most refused to trade or sell to him so he kept away from the towns whenever possible, while trading for food near Canterbury Commons Peter was told of a big Green Jewel up North. Tired of DC but not ready to return home Peter packed up and begin the trek north to find this Jewel and bring it back home the trip took him almost a month. Sense he recently arrived in the Commonwealth Peter has yet to reach Boston settling near Quincy hunting mirelurks hoping to trade their meat for supplies.

Bio:
Born in the Capital Wasteland, Matthew saw many of the horrors of the post apocalyptic world up front and personal. Living in the settlement of Canterbury commons he saw the destruction the settlement endured between the Mechanist and the Antagonizer and how ridiculous their little battles were. He left the settlement a few days after a lone stranger arrived and finally set order. He moved to Rivet city in search to make himself a fortune and work as a bounty hunter. He witnessed the war between the Enclave and the Brotherhood and was mesmerized by the glory and the honor of such organization.

After the defeat of the Enclave at the Jefferson Memorial building Matthew decided to follow in the hundreds of volunteers wanting to join the BOS. He trained arduously and in little time became an official Knight. Fighting the Remnants of the Enclave and following the leadership of Elder Lyons and the ever so brave Lone Wanderer. Though he never talked to him directly he was always fascinated by the stories of his adventures and the many things he had accomplished. Soon after the Lone Wanderer disappeared Matthew witnessed the rise of the new Elder, Maxson. Under his leadership he was always hopeful and always following in the guise of the BOS being the true savior of humanity, seeing as how the Capital wasteland had been transformed from a warring, chaotic wasteland into a livable and prosperous state.

He followed Maxson on his new campaign to liberate Boston from the tyranny of the Institute and after their defeat he gathered up with the survivors and despite the shortcoming they are still hopeful that the BOS can rise from this. Time will only tell.

Strengths: Advanced Technologies. Tesla Rifles, Tesla Pistols, and Psy Armor. Tesla Pistols are special pistols able to shoot 2,300 volts the equivalent of a small power generator. Tesla Rifles are special rifles able to shoot 9,000 volts of electricity, the equivalent of a medium sized power generator. And Psy Armor is a special armor with a high damage resistance to explosives and conditional bullets, with a built in anti-electrical defense system in order to evenly distribute the volts and leave the user unharmed. Also have Improved Stimpaks which are super stimpaks that now have no negative effects, and Ultra Stimpaks fully heal all major injuries over a short period of time of two days. Tesla Grenades are also in use, which are special grenades that disable electrical devices, and also delivers an incendiary flame to kill non-robotic targets. Also their scientist are very intelligent, allowing them to usually always find ways around technological problems. The clone troopers also have Exo-Skeleton suits, an un-tethered, hydraulic-powered anthropomorphic exoskeleton to help soldiers in combat carry a load of up to 200 pounds at a top speed of 10 miles per hour for extended periods of time.
Weaknesses: Due to being an expeditionary force, they are small and lack reinforcements. Meaning they must consolidate and isolate what they have, and make decisions that lead to the least exposure to danger. Hindering their vital mission.
History: The Department of Energy was founded by a ghoul named Greg Joplin, in the state of Idaho within an old Department of Energy laboratory they called "Site Omega." Greg Joplin used to work for the Department of Energy, but ghoulified after the war and used his status in the pre-war agency to re-create a new Department of Energy under the surviving staff of the old department that had not passed away during the great war and declaring himself to be the Secretary of Energy, which would make him a de-jure president in post-war america. Over the centuries, the Department of Energy was focused on scientific development for the betterment of civilization. Going into civil sciences that will help humanity survive and thrive, and eventually restart the United States of America. These projects only allowed for the Department of Energy to grow and grow, and allow their reach to extend far beyond Idaho.

Eventually, news came to the Department of Energy that a pre-war company Mass Fusion had an experimental power source it was testing within the Mass Fusion building of the Boston Commonwealth. One that could even out-perform the Next Generation Fission Reactor created by Joplin himself, and soon an expedition was launched with a clone army and a Doctors Bison and Monroe to locate the Mass Fusion technology and return it to Site Omega. When the expedition arrived in Boston, they were surprised to learn how much of it was intact, but quickly came to learn of a new danger that loomed within the new city. The Institute, another scientific entity had created it's own nation right in the middle of the city and were holding onto the technology that the Department needed. Doctor Monroe, recommended returning to Idaho and reporting directly to Secretary Joplin the situation in person in the commonwealth, but was stopped by Doctor Bison who wanted to use the current situation to his advantage.

The two doctors, and their twenty eight cloned soldiers in psy armor, armed with their tesla weapons and grenades, made their way into Fort Hagen and secured it for future operations where they for now, wait for the proper time to strike. In Bison's mind, the Institute are a private scientific group with no direction. And in his mind, the Department of Energy was more advanced, sophisticated, and more equipped. However, he knew he was outgunned and this frequently lead to arguments between him and Doctor Monroe who still advocates a withdrawal. Only one of these members will get to decide the course, and for now it's Doctor Bison. For the glory of the Department of Energy.

I wouldn't say dead so much as school/life is picking up. I for one was hammered with tests, essays, and projects this week, and it's only week two of school. That said, the week is over and I should be good to post. However seeing as I have no one to interact with, I have little ability to contribute significantly to the story.

So a few questions:

What has happened to the Boston Airport? Is it now occupied by Minutemen/Institute, or is it just alone, standing unoccupied?

Seeing as there is no one to interact with me, is it alright if I basically start to upgrade Quincy? Like make mission for myself?
