Favorite Beatles Songs

Postby Taffy 3 » Wed Aug 25, 2010 8:31 pm

What are some of yours?

My favorites change all the time so I can't stick with one, but here are ones I always love to listen to.

"Revolution" (The B-side single of "Hey Jude", not "Revolution 1" or "Revolution 9."
"Yesterday"
"Something"
"Norwegian Wood"
"Strawberry Fields Forever"
Fanshaw Bay Shipwrights

"Let us not go down before we fire our damn torpedoes," - LT Bob Hagen, USS Johnston prior to her suicide run during the Battle off of Samar

Syd Barrett makes no sense. Yellow Submarine is an overly popish slow tempoed piece of shit with dull lyrics and too much emphasis on sound effects.

My favorites are A Day in the Life, Let It Be, Across the Universe, and The Long and Winding Road.

You can double count songs if you were to post different variations. For example, I love the acoustic version of "Someting" on The Beatles Anthology

My nation is not like my nation page at all, it contradicts itself, we don't EVER eat kangaroos, that's just very sad. Also vegetarianism is compulsory yet it still says it's the nation's favourite main course and all and stuff.
