I'm not up for writing a long post at the moment, so my characters have teleported in.
You can either speak to a rather hauty-looking girl, or a small, nervous boy.

Danceria wrote:Name: Timothy T. Avery
Gender: Male
Age: 11
Sexual Orientation: If you are so adamant on making sure an eleven year old figures out who he is sexually, then a hetrosexual.
Appearance/Picture Don't worry, he'll Neville Longbottom
Blood status: Half Blood (Pure Blood father, and a muggle mother)
House (Or future house, if 11): Slytherin (surprisingly)
Patronus (Optional): Lion(?)
Views (Blood ideology, optional): A tentative Mudblood Extremist
Fears: Being unable to make a difference in the world
Likes and Dislikes: Applying what he learned to other classes (for example, is it possible to transfigure a charm? Is there some way to "program" a spell into an object, what happens when you fire a spell at a potion?) making new friends, reading, listening to music. (Classes) DADA, Charms, Potions, Herbology, Flying Condescending people, people who outright refuse to stray from tradition, anything "impractical", Pureblood supremacists, people who shame other students due to their blood heritage, Astronomy, Muggle History.
Personality: An ENFP for you Myers-Briggs fans, he is confirmed a mild ADD, which is evident in his conversationalist nature and seemingly never ending thirst for knowledge (he also takes a single pill to help him focus, which can cause him to be slightly bitter towards distractions when focusing on said project). Despite this, he is a good listener, and his passionate desire to stick up for the underdogs (coupled with his never-ending questions and suggestions, which will happen after the first two weeks of his studying there). He also is woefully disorganized and scatterbrained at times, which is why he will jot down numerous notes and compare and contrast them. If you're a teacher, expect him to meet with at least two of you to compare notes to see if he's made a "breakthrough". Outside of academics, he's warm and enthusiastic, and a loyal friend to have, and cares more about who you are rather than your house or blood status. This passionate nature will no doubt cause a few incidents, where he will either apologize greatly for a slight (or perceived slight), or obstinately "stick it to the man/woman".
Brief Backstory: Like many students, he is suspected to be a "Battle Bastard", which is essentially a child of two people who fought during the Wizarding War. That's all there is really to know about his background. Since then, he has been raised under two Muggle members of the Ministry of Magic, raised diligently to enjoy learning. While he wasn't ignorant to the Wizarding World, he's never really experienced it outside of occasional telekinetic movements. Timothy's supported by a strong family, such as an Oxford Professor "uncle", a caring and empathetic teacher "aunt" (who slinks around Muggle schools to see who can move things with their minds), and an INTJ blunt prodigy "cousin" who is convinced without a doubt that "wizards are stupid".
Now when the letter came, it was no surprise, but a joyous expectation. Timothy went through Diagon Alley, and was amazed by the "undiscovered country" that is the Wizarding world. Knowing that his family supports him, the young boy strides fearlessly into Hogwarts, determined to make his mark.
Theme (Optional): Will do later
RP example: Here yougo
Two questions, has everyone been sorted, and what is the status of Phoenix Feather Cores?
I don't want poor Sparky or Fawkes to be plucked completely...
