And no. I mean, I don't have children and I am 27, and I still don't feel ready to have kids, so no thanks.

I would argue that providing high school kids with a realistic experience of parenthood - not just the naming of a child and the cuddling, et cetera, but the experience of not being able to stop baby from crying, fractional sleep, extra costs, schedule management - is a great method of getting kids to at least think for a half second before they have sex.

Take out the "extra costs" part, or at least make it ficticious enough to where they have to manage a fixed amount of fake money, and I agree.

But there’s a catch: The French rampage did not appear to involve Syrian attackers, but rather Europeans who had gone to Syria and returned radicalized and battle-ready to wreak havoc in their homelands.

Nope. Nothing is ever that simple. Not every country has a "revolving door" immigration policy like the EU, not to mention that not every country will let some random foreigner just pass through their country.

Yup. Exactly that simple. Have them come in from Saudi Arabia, or Egypt, or UAE.

Also the ban is both stupid and impractical.

Alternative Facts.
Crimes committed by Muslims will be a pan-Islamic plot and proof of Islam's inherent evil. On the other hand crimes committed by non-Muslims will merely be the acts of loners who do not represent their belief system at all.
The probability of one's participation in homosexual acts is directly proportional to one's public disdain and disgust for homosexuals.
If a political figure makes an accusation of wrongdoing without evidence, odds are probable that the accuser or an associate thereof has in fact committed the very same act, possibly to a worse degree.

Except in 1900, it was poor Greeks, Poles, Russians, and Italians who were viewed as the menace to America and its predominately Anglo-Saxon culture, just as the hated Irish had been a few decades earlier. And the view that dangerous elements (back then it was "anarchists" rather than "terrorists") were embedded in this immigrant tide was every bit as strong as it is today (if not even more so). See the infamous case of Sacco and Vanzetti, as well as the First Red Scare.

There is no "memo that instructed the DHS to disobey a federal court order". The Emoluments Clause clearly states that "No Senator or Representative shall, during the Time for which he was elected, be appointed to any civil Office under the Authority of the United States, which shall have been created, or the Emoluments whereof shall have been increased during such time; and no Person holding any Office under the United States, shall be a Member of either House during his Continuance in Office. It does not say that the President can't fire someone for defying the law and there is nothing in the constitution that says that the President cannot deny refugees entrance to the United States. It is too easy for people to come to this country illegally, stay here, and cause a shit load of trouble when the opportunity strikes. Unlike Obama, who is willing to let every Tom, Dick, and Harry who claims to be a refugee enter our country, Trump is willing to ensure that what happened in Paris and Brussels does not occur on US soil, whether egotistical self-centered self-serving pinko-liberals like you agree with the solution or not. As for people saying that "domestic insurrection will be a problem", they have no clue what they are talking about. SJWs may talk shit on the internet, but they are weak cowards in real life, so they won't be doing anything violent. Black Lives Matter are all talk and no action when it comes to anything other than protests. Hollywood may talk shit about Trump, but at the end of the day, the celebrities who hate Trump ain't gonna do shit if it jeopardizes their opulent lifestyle.

I happen to be a citizen of the United States and I consider it my duty as a citizen to speak up when I disagree with the policies of the government. I will not "shut the Hell up." As an American statesman of the 19th century, himself an immigrant said, "My country, right or wrong: if right, to be kept right; and if wrong, to be set right."

I like you, Farnhamia. You are one of the few people I have met on the internet who is calm, reasonable, rational, and civilized when talking about Trump and your arguments are logical and well researched and you know when to stop and that is why I respect your opinion. However, most people on the Internet who do not agree with Trump are not calm, reasonable, rational, or civilized and their arguments tend to be pure opinionated dogma, this thread included. They lost my respect the moment I saw their posts. I respect the Right to Free Speech, but there is some point where people need to shut up and move on with their lives. I am leaving this thread before some SJW tries to spin this as racism, Islamophobia, or misogyny.

We could go a step further. Burial plots take up land, and funerals are expensive. Ground them up, can them, and ship them off to the canteen at homeless shelters. We can solve world hunger!

Christ, you're the one coming in and not knowing what the whole Federal crisis is about, for one.

We are all aware of what is going on, and the ban is not a problem just because it is a ban, it is the retroactive effects of it that are a problem.

"On Tuesday, Donald Trump met with Robert F. Kennedy Jr., an environmental lawyer and activist, who also happens to be an outspoken vaccine conspiracy theorist. After the meeting, Kennedy told reporters it went “very well,” and said that Trump “asked me to chair a commission on vaccine safety and scientific integrity.”
Was this discussed?

Not voting is also a right, and is effectively what you are doing anyway. Bullshit write-ins help nobody and serve no purpose.
