I would argue that providing high school kids with a realistic experience of parenthood - not just the naming of a child and the cuddling, et cetera, but the experience of not being able to stop baby from crying, fractional sleep, extra costs, schedule management - is a great method of getting kids to at least think for a half second before they have sex.
Take out the "extra costs" part, or at least make it ficticious enough to where they have to manage a fixed amount of fake money, and I agree.
