Before the start of the season, we predicted that newly promoted Real Jraxville, backed by the insanely popular hip hop group, the JNVz, would take four or more points from last season's top four sides. They achieved it on matchday four of the King's League, holding reigning King's League champions Firewood City to a 2-2 draw in the JNV Arena. This followed the 2-1 upset of Sir George Pennant's Burningham City in the same stadium two weeks earlier, and signalled the arrival of the Dynapolis region club to the big time. Burningham City followed up their shock defeat to the promoted Jraxville side with an even more surprising 2-0 home defeat at the hands of Cymrwell FC. The visiting manager Michael N'Diaye was effusive in his praise for his team, but stressed that sitting on six points at week three in the King's League was encouraging, but didn't really mean anything. Fellow promoted side Hamtown Athletic took until matchday five to pick up their first points, and score their first goal, on their return to the King's League. Fort Mare fared a little better, travelling to Blacktube Village and convincingly dismantling the home side in front of 12,000 fans in The Tube on matchday four.

At the other end of the table, Firewood City had dropped points uncharacteristically to three teams expected to finish near the foot of the table - Jraxville, Blacktube and Callisto City - while picking up easy wins over promoted Fort Mare and Hamtown. In perhaps their easiest opening five games of the last ten years, the Fourgian powerhouse failed to maximise their points haul, but fortunately, their main rivals had also stumbled at early hurdles. Grasshoppers manager Karl Heinz-Grichenbauer blamed a hectic international schedule - the national team had played twice in the ten days prior to the Queen's Shield this season, as well as the Di Bradini Cup and Olympics for younger players during the summer - and a lengthy domestic season, claiming that professional players in Osarius were expected to play at too a high tempo, too often, for it to realistically be sustainable. Interestingly enough, his Turic side sat second in the King's League table on goal difference at the time.

Cymrwell would follow up their impressive win over Burningham - who appeared to be struggling early in the season, also losing 4-3 in Elishat Stadium at the hands of Kart Hago - with a 2-1 home win over Firewood City, to hand the reigning champions the first of just two defeats in the first half of the season. With all the big teams dropping points left, right and centre, it looked like the title race would come down to results between the involved sides. It wasn't until matchday six that two of the "big teams" would face off, and Trothwands stole an early march in the title race, travelling to beat King's Guard Sporting 2-1 in Crown Valley Stadium. King's Guard bounced back with a solid 2-0 win over Grasshoppers in the Turic Thunderdome, while Burningham City took steps toward restoring the "fortress" mentality at Elishat Stadium with a convincing 3-0 win over Greeningham City on the same day.

The tussle at the top continued with Trothwands holding the visiting Burningham City to a goalless draw on matchday eight, and Burningham City keeping another home clean sheet against Turic, winning 2-0 on matchday nine. Hamtown's poor form continued throughout this period, pinning them firmly to the foot of the table, and seeing their odds to stay up stretching as far as 70/1, despite only a quarter of the season having passed. Real Jraxville kept up their endeavours to stay afloat in the King's League by picking up narrow wins over the likes of Wellmont, Paper Tree Town and Kart Hago, prompting manager Roberto Grosso to affirm that he was confident that his side could stay up - despite the skepticism of many pundits.

The real fire came from week fourteen through to the halfway point, as Firewood City faced a tough schedule, with the following matches in six successive weeks: Greeningham (A), King's Guard Sporting (H), Trothwands (A), Renneville (H), Turic (A), Burningham (H). Incredibly, they picked up an amaxing sixteen of a possible eighteen points in this period, re-installing them as firm favourites to retain their title as Osarian champions. The highlight of these games was the stunning 4-0 away win over Grasshoppers Turic, in which Willem Hamel unleashed his kids and saw Benni Watson lead the team - in the absence of injured Jermain Lewis - in teaching their Ikutursan rivals a masterclass in dominating the midfield. Gabriel Russell netted two, and created another in a man of the match performance which will surely have turned the head of Benedict di Corradi.

At the half way mark, the King's League looked thus:

The Royal League was a minefield for punters, as the halfway table saw unfancied Bowsston United sitting pretty atop the table, six points clear of nearest rivals - also unfancied Pinturici Rangers - and seven ahead of one of the favourites, Rapid Hearthlands. Early season wins over former King's League teams like Junipa, Chestmana and Kronkow had seen Bowsston sneak up the table slowly, stealing a march on more heavily backed sides such as Rapid Hearthlands and Maharia United.

Strangely, many were surprised to see Junipa languishing in mid-table, while Spoturess - a King's League team fairly recently themselves - were hovering near the foot of the table. With the balance seemingly upset, many commented that this season's Royal League was perhaps the most open league in years, and a lucrative King's League spot was there for the taking for any Royal League club willing to take a risk and go for it. It looked as though a few mid-tablers like Rajahara, Violia and Masaka were really going to go for it though, with all three of them sitting between 6th and 10th at the halfway mark. That would soon change, as all three teams brought in King's League quality players - mostly on loan - during the transfer window.

At halfway, the Royal League table looked thus:

    Team P W D L For Ag +/- Pts

Kk, so um, ISC Rig has a SHOCKER of a season to finish 12th, we knew this season was going to be more competitive but jebus, 12th? They're like a yo-yo team within the division, one season good the next second half of the table. Metalurgs and Dinamo Karrakiv continue to stumble on through everything, seemingly unaware how close they may have been to relegation. At the bottom, Hawks' policy of selling their best players year on year has finally put them back into the second division, not that they mind, still churning through players for everyone else to buy. FBK Karrakiv something something also relegated.

Up at the top, Tammeka Kuressaare and Qasarian City have another good season each and push on forward into the Globe Cup again, not too unexpected, they're in good hands at the moment. Next up: Han, seriously, what did you do to Veph/NSFS? Why are FKSD all the way up there? Come back down will yer! Anyway, Atlantas lead another one-two with Volodiscow Resistance. A top-two that is seemingly impossible to break.

There are four feeder leagues to the SRPD; the Malak A Lyga, Liga Anseriska, the V-league and unconfirmed (Amserica).

The Champion of the SRPD, as expected, would be the team that finishes on the highest points after 50 games (two versus each other team in the league).

The league has two TQCC places, one for the Malak FA (includes Anseriska) and one other for either a Virabian or Amserican side. The highest finishing team for each association takes a TQCC place.

The league is awarded six Globe Cup places, these will be given to the teams finishing highest other than those with TQCC places. Malak teams must have at least one team in this, Anseriskan teams must be present in at least one place, Virabia and Amserica share 3 (the team gaining a TQCC spot has one, the other, two).

With relegation, four teams will be relegated each season, one team will be relegated from each of the three represented leagues. The next lowest finishing team will also be relegated, regardless of nationality. The relegated teams will be replaced by teams from that nation's league, ensuring that the numbers from each nation remain constant.

The Commander's League V

The most recent edition of the Commander’s League displayed a level of talent never before seen in Tyrrinian domestic football. More goals were scored in this season than ever before, with a combination of home-grown talent and international superstars creating a spectacle on fields across the nation. Expansion teams looked to better themselves, and established clubs tried to remain in the running for a championship. UICA placements were hard to come by, and the League title was as difficult to achieve as ever.

The first half of the season saw Mertag FC slip away with a healthy, but not definitive, lead on the rest of the pack. Royale were hovering in a close second, but there were some surprises farther down on the table. MFC Bhaskar and Miners FC were playing very solid football, and both looked like they had the potential to knock a perennial contender out of a Globe Cup spot. Mariners, Coranto, and Raiders were hovering around the middle, as they would continually slip up against lesser teams. The rest of the field had quite a bit of trouble trying to stay with the leaders, and wouldn’t get much of a shot in the second half of the season. The top player of the first half would be Deandre Rodrigo, who fearlessly lead Mertag as they tried to finally win the League after many years of only attaining Globe Cup spots.

This season was the first time that an Elite Eight club had to play in the play-in round, but and Sultan failed to even get through it, falling to Cavaliers FC 3-2. The first round saw a close 2-1 match between Royale and Mariners, as well as the upset of Mertag FC at the hands of the Stars. Raiders won convincingly in all of their matches leading up to the final, beating the upstart Stars 4-3. Royale defeated the surprisingly dangerous Miners FC easily in the semifinal, but fell to Raiders in the final in a defensive 1-0 match. This is the second Cup that the Raiders have won.

Mertag FC blew away all the competition this season, coming out on top of the league by a mile. Adam Rhisiart is possibly the happiest man in Tyrrin, as their years of coming just short have finally been rewarded. Royale and Mariners finished neck and neck with a very competitive race for second. Raiders had already won the Cup, but they claimed the fourth spot for good measure. Coranto barely missed a Globe Cup spot, along with the upstart MFC Bhaskar. The Icebirds failed to put two good seasons in a row together, as they finished below every other Elite Eight club besides Sultan, whose lack of defense failed them yet again. MFC Bedros and MFC Kane were the worst two clubs, with only seven wins in 56 matches between them, not counting their Commander’s Cup losses.

Golden Boot
5. Aaron Williamson, Bernard Brecht, Zia Thorvald (22 goals)
4. Calvin Harris (24 goals)
3. Luke Woods (26 goals)
2. Paul Madrigal (29 goals)
1. Markus Klogh (33 goals)
Klogh managed to top himself this season, breaking his previous 31 goal record by two goals. He is clearly the best striker in the league. As mentioned countless times, Royale are practically unstoppable when he is paired up with Williamson, and their duo is rivaled only by Woods and Harris of Mariners.

Foreign Player of the Year
5. Paul Madrigal (Elemanu)
4. Matt Chauvin (The Babbage Islands)
3. Adam Fortune (Taeshan)
2. Markus Klogh (Burchadinger)
1. Marko Krivac (Swartaz)
Krivac was Mertag FC’s only pickup in the past offseason, so logic would dictate that he was the difference between second place and a championship. Krivac’s brilliant creative play, excellent work with Deandre Rodrigo, and his ten goals speak to the fact that

Most Valuable Player
5. Marko Krivac (Mertag FC)
4. Keith Richardson (Oclia Mariners)
3. Lorenz Raimondo (Foroch Raiders)
2. Matt Chauvin (Tyrrin Royale)
1. Deandre Rodrigo (Mertag FC)
Rodrigo becomes the first player to ever win the MVP award twice, and it couldn’t have come to a more deserving person. After years of being the face of this club, he finally brought the city of Mertag its first championship. Without his leadership, the club would have certainly fallen behind long ago. His experience both domestically and internationally has made Mertag FC into what it is today.

Season 27

The twenty-seventh season of the Ad’ihani football league saw the very welcome addition of Navon Knights-Errant FC, based in Navon Beach, to the Minor League. Founded by Caires City FC of the Candelaria And Marquez Soccer Championship, the Knights-Errant will be managed by City's youth team coach, Quincy Logan. Navon Knights-Errant will be exempt from the foreign player limit, having brought in five players — three of whom will be player-coaches — from the Caires senior side.

Salvador González (AM, 33) Peter Martin (DL, 34) and Andrew Jackson (MR, 27) are the player-coaches, while Kent Thompson (GK, 24) and Mohammed Differ (DM, 19) have also moved from the Candelarias.

The Navon Knights-Errant become the 49th team in the Ad’ihani league system. They will be joined by another new feeder club, based in Altsend. Altsend Town Bede FC will be the feeder of Liventia's Bede City and become the 50th team in the league.

While both teams will play in the Minor League this season, the league structure will undergo further changes after this season to accommodate the two new teams. Just one team will be relegated from the Major League this season and three promoted to expand the country's top division to 20 teams playing 38 matches each next season.

The AFF Second Team Trophy will have a new preliminary round to incorporate the two new foreign feeder teams. The four B/II teams of Ad’ihani higher-division clubs will play in a preliminary round, with the two winners moving on to join the other 14 foreign feeder teams.

The AFF League Cup will also no longer use replays. Instead, the teams will play a simple one-legged (extra time, penalties) knockout competition up to the final.

AFF Challenge Trophy
The annual preseason friendly tournament was played between two teams this season, as a single one-off match at Protectorate Stadium. Defending league and Trophy champions Hatton Town faced Silver Plate winners Grand Arsenal in the curtain-raiser. The match ended 2–1 in favour of Grand Arsenal, who would hope to win more silverware this season.

Hatton Town might be concerned about winning the Silver Trophy this season. The last time they won the Silver Trophy, they went on to lose form and lose the title — when they won the league last season, they failed to win the Silver Trophy. Would history repeat itself?

Unfortunately, history held true to form for Hatton Town. Tallyn Rovers surged ahead in the second half of the season to regain the title from their rivals, with whom they have now shared the last four league titles. The four-point lead they held at the end was won on the penultimate day of the season. Leading by two points going into Matchday 33, they watched Hatton Town only manage a 1–1 draw against bottom-placed team Flitton Rangers and knew that a win against CF Mont-Pluie would seal their second title in three seasons. They duly won 1–0, ensuring that they won the title at home rather than away on the last day. At the bottom, just one relegation spot on offer due to the Major League's expansion to 20 teams next season, meaning at least two of the three promoted teams from last season would stay up. And indeed that happened, with last year's Prime League runners-up Flitton Rangers falling foul of the drop. Prime League winners and former top-flight title champions CF Mont-Pluie managed to finish 7th, just outside of a Joint Unified System Tournament playoff spot.

Three promotion spots on offer this season with just one team relegated, meaning Riverston Town's weaker goal difference compared to Olympique Protectorat — which in any other season would have precluded promotion — did not matter in the promotion race. Island Athletic are relegated on goal difference.

T’chéy Park — playing their last season on Barrier Island before they move to their new stadium in Pointe Sud and are renamed South Point FC — qualified for the SBCC on account of the top promoted team from the Minor League being a feeder team of a foreign association club.

ROFL Season 2

So yeah. With NAPPC and Tenderville United (and Mignon United, who promoted from the First Nethertopian Division), this baby is cracking up again. Can FC DePardenti keep up with the pace of the two Nethertopian giants? Will The Grey Towers fulfil their dark horse credentials? Or is another team from outside Nethertopia the strongest contender?
...
Yyyeah, let's just look at the results and pray for some nice UICA contestants.

The cup competitions were not without surprise, as Real Jraxville put together an impressive run, reaching the Corradini Cup semi finals, before falling 8-5 on aggregate to Trothwands Evolution. In the other half of the draw, Hastmead Diamante stunned Firewood City 6-5 on aggregate to progress to the final. Other surprises included FC Barciddia's run to the last sixteen, before a cruel extra time defeat at the hands of Utica United, and Inter Alepio eliminating Grasshoppers Turic in the third round on penalties.

Final
Hastmead Diamante CFC 2-2 Trothwands Evolution (2-3 AET, 2-3 agg)

The second half of the King's League season progressed very similarly to the first, with Real Jraxville holding Burningham City to a 1-1 draw in the capital, while Callisto City held Firewood City to the same score in the Golden Temple. Things would change soon after though, with Firewood giving last season's Royal League champions a footballing lesson in The Cauldron on matchday twenty-three, routing Real Jraxville 4-0. Meanwhile, Greeningham suffered another catastrophic home defeat, this time at the hands of Utica United, losing 4-1.

Greeningham's poor home form continued, as they slumped to a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Real Jraxville on matchday twenty-eight. This followed their horrendous showing in The Sty, against Hamtown, where they were comprehensively beaten 3-0. The title race began to whittle down, as it does, with Trothwands travelling to Elishat Stadium to take down Burningham City 3-1, while King's Guard slumped to a 4-2 away defeat against Callisto City.

By the time the top-of-the-table clashes came around - this time seemingly all scheduled near the end of the season - the title race was still somewhat open, although two teams were leading the way. It looked as though Turic and Firewood would duke it out over the last six weeks of the season for the title, but Trothwands and Burningham City were still in with a shout, it was hard to see them overcoming the point gap. However, when considering the run of fixtures for Firewood, bookmakers saw a slew of cash laid on Trothwands, Turic and Burningham City to win the league. Firewood entered the crucial closing stages of the season with a four point lead at the top and a difficult run-in. Their main rivals on the other hand, had a noticeably easier schedule - albeit not one without its own perils.

On matchday thirty-five, Firewood overcame Trothwands 2-1 at home, while Turic travelled to Greeningham to win by the same scoreline. Meanwhile Burningham drew 1-1 with old rivals King's Guard Sporting at home, effectively rendering the title race a two horse race. The following week, Renneville United held Firewood to a 0-0 draw at home in the early kick off, handing the initiative to Grasshoppers Turic, who hosted Firewood's main rivals of late - Trothwands Evolution - in the Thunderdome. In a stunning twist of fate, Trothwands dismantled a Tay Gidds-less Turic side in a 5-0 win, to leave their hated rivals Firewood within touching distance of a fourth successive King's League title.

Matchday thirty-seven presented both Turic and Firewood the chance to all but seal the title, as they faced off at The Cauldron in Firewood. A win for Firewood would seal the title in front of their own fans ahead of a tough trip to Burningham on the final day, while a Turic win would mean Firewood would have to travel to Elishat Stadium on the final day of the season and win to even have a chance of making it four in a row. As it turned out, the match ended 0-0, with the refereeing being brought under scrutiny by both managers, and the clamour for goal-line technology coming up again.

Turic were first to suffer, having a goal for Zazalane ruled out in the sixty-second minute, when the linesman judged the ball to have not crossed the line, seemingly blocked by a well-positioned Balkrishan Samra. Later, replays would suggest that Samra had in fact been behind the line, and the goal should have stood. Shortly afterward, Firewood's young forward Reece Anderson was booked for simulation, despite replays showind definite contact. As Anderson protested his innocence, and attempted to show the referee - Mauro Corotto - the evidence of the foul, Corotto showed a second yellow for dissent, dismissing the diminutive forward. Turic made the most of the extra man and piled forward in an attempt to capitalise, only for Orelin to break up the attack and launch a Firewood counter. Jermain Lewis' twenty five yard rocket cannoned down off the crossbar and appeared to bounce behind the line. The linesman didn't flag for the goal, though, and a grateful Marcus Bostich clutched the ball and continued play. In the seventy-eight minute, in the midst of another Firewood counter-attack, a frustrated Jean-Pierre Coupier scythed down Firewood winger Benni Watson with a brutal challenge. The reigning player of the year suffered an ankle injury - later confirmed not to be serious - and was substituted, while Coupier was shown a straight red. Both Hamel and Heinz-Grichenbauer remonstrated furiously from the dugout, but to no avail. Both managers would later file appeals, with the OFA looking into the refereeing, and rescinding Anderson's sending off.

The title race therefore came down to the final day, with Turic needing a win - while hoping Burningham could avoid defeat at Elishat Stadium against Firewood - to claim the title. As it turned out, Firewood responded brilliantly, tormenting the Burningham City defence on the counter, to record a 3-0 win. Turic, meanwhile, could only muster a 0-0 draw against Callisto City in the Golden Temple. At the other end of the table, Cymrwell's 1-1 draw with Utica, combined with Charleston Athletic's 1-0 home defeat to Kart Hago ensured they would stay up. Hastmead Diamante hosted Paper Tree Town to see who would join Charleston and Hamtown in a return to the Royal League, and came out victorious. Francesco Villa showed just why he is in demand at bigger clubs with a man of the match display to sink Paper Tree Town, and condemn the Papyrum side to relegation.

The final King's League table was thus:

* Burningham City ahead of King's Guard Sporting due to head-to-head results.
** Burningham City qualify as fourth placed team as Corradini Cup winners Trothwands Evolution already qualified for the Globe Cup through the league.
*** Greeningham City qualify as OFA Cup winners.

The OFA Cup provided some redemption for Greeningham City, as they got the better of their historic rivals Firewood, as well as regional rivals Hollybrent en route to their final appearance. There were no real cinderella stories this season, although the best performer - in terms of smaller teams reaching later rounds - was Real Rajahara, who reached the sixth round before meeting their match in the form of Burningham City.

OFA Cup quarter finals onward:

The Royal League ended rather surprisingly, with an unexpected champion being named, as well as a couple of surprising appearances in the playoffs...

Taeshan will bid to host the next GC with the brand new stadium, The Dome. Home to Knightspurs of the Taeshani Premier League, the dome is a 92,300 seater in the small town of Spurville on the outskirts of the China Island city of Ojian. Pretty much a suburb of the great city, Spurville is home to a thriving population of 100,000 people. The town and its team have quickly risen in recent years and as a whole a GC would bring even more money to the pride of China Island Province in such dark times in Taeshani history.

Ad’ihan/Liventia Joint Unified System Tournament
Season 4

The fourth season of the Joint Unified System Tournament between Ad’ihan and Liventia to determine top-level UICA qualifiers has taken place, once again with an extra TakilQuip Champions’ Cup spot up for grabs, totalling nine UICA places available for the competition's ten teams.

Last season's Liventian champions Bede City, who lost their league title to the newly promoted Dover City, won a close tournament. Finishing with six wins, a draw and two losses for 19 points, they were just three points ahead of fifth-placed team County Stanley.

For the first time since JUST was introduced, Liventia has won more TQCC places than Ad’ihan. Bede City and Schimpol snatched the first two places, making up for last season when Liventian teams failed to qualify for the TakilQuip Champions’ Cup through the JUST. Mountbatten Junction finished third to take the last, and Ad’ihan's second, TQCC slot. AFF League Cup winners and last year's Ad’ihani champions Hatton Town could only managed 14 points for a Globe Cup slot.

After two wildly successful seasons of the Cyanea Joint League, the 16-team superleague enters its third season with several teams taking aim at two-time champions Catherina F.C. Would this be the season for a Sarzonian team to end their dominance? Would a Delaclav team rise up and knock their countrymen down a peg? Or will Catherina F.C. threepeat?

Let's find out, shall we?

Note that Delaclav teams are in red, Sarzonian teams are in navy blue. The league winner and the top finisher from the other country will each get a TQCC slot. The four next highest finishers will all get Gold Cup slots.

Cyanea Joint League Standings

Congratulations to Catherina F.C. for once again winning the Cyanea Joint League! The Portsmouth Pirates surprisingly claim the Sarzonian TQCC slot with the best finish for a Sarzonian club, second place. The Gold Cup slots will be taken by Delaclava's First City and Metro Tirana and Sarzonia's Saugerties Snakes, Woodstock Wild, New Jerusalem Nobles and Nicksia Knights. Due to limitations on the number of clubs from Sarzonia participating in the Gold Cup, the Portland Timbers are eliminated from Gold Cup contention despite finishing eighth.

The two teams being relegated will be the Jasmine Island Peacocks and Blackwell, who doesn't stay long in the CJL. Two teams from the Delaclava Premier League will take their places.

Globe Cup – Almondvale, Athletic Khaldoon, Salaga F.C

SBCC – Villa Ortiz, Allied Motor Trade, Barbossa, Real Minanda

Stadium Bid - El Estadio de la Esperanza (58,000)

You'll find out why it's them later, but right now I can't be arsed, I just formatted the last post and accidentally closed the window, so once I'm done fuming and back from the pub, I'll share with you the details of the last stretch of the Una Serie.

And here's how it all occured.

Part 4 of 4, the last stretch.

Ridgemont Town 1-0 Jonastown United

Matchday 39

Skyte City 2-1 Ridgemont Town
Pythons 4-1 Jonastown United
Valengren Kickers 2-0 Salaga F.C
Almondvale 2-2 Athletic Khaldoon
Ajax Khaldoon II 0-3 Royal Khaldoon
1860 Flumineiro 1-1 Augustus

Only five games left and its super tight at each end of the league, the top three are separated by 6 points and those three down at the bottom have three points between them and the drop into league 1. Augustus manager Vianna looks set to lose his job at the end of the season even if he keeps them up.

Matchday 40

Pythons 2-1 Skyte City
Ridgemont Town 0-2 Valengren Kickers
Jonastown United 1-6 Almondvale
Salaga F.C 2-2 Ajax Khaldoon II
Athletic Khaldoon 2-0 1860 Flumineiro
Augustus 2-6 Royal Khaldoon

Hefty losses for those at the foot of the table bring the points deficit to a beyond negligible amount and anybody could be headed for the trap door. Which, on the form of these teams it should be all of them. Up top, the Kickers won 2-0 and keep the chase alive for their first title, but Royal’s 6-2 thumping of Augustus keeps them in top spot.

Matchday 41

Skyte City 1-2 Almondvale
Pythons 2-3 Valengren Kickers
Ajax Khaldoon II 0-0 Ridgemont Town
1860 Flumineiro 1-2 Jonastown United
Royal Khaldoon 0-0 Salaga F.C
Athletic Khaldoon 1-1 Augustus

Valengren are top! Three games to go the 3-2 win over Pythons thrust them into pole position and the Cafundeu owned side are close to sealing their first title since the League I championship. They leap frog Royal who are dragged back by desperate Salaga who cling to a single point to keep them just ahead of J-Town and the big drop.

Matchday 42

1860 Flumineiro 2-2 Skyte City
Ajax Khaldoon II 2-2 Pythons
Almondvale 6-1 Valengren Kickers
Ridgemont Town 1-2 Royal Khaldoon
Jonastown United 0-1 Athletic Khaldoon
Augustus 1-0 Salaga F.C

That didn’t last long! Almondvale have had a nasty habit of ruining teams good runs of form this season, and they swooped and dive bombed Valengren with a 6-1 thrashing to knock them off top spot. Augustus may have done enough to save their bacon with a narrow 1-0 win over Salaga, thanks to graying legend Juan Segura whose long range pile driver was enough to nab the three points. Royal retake top spot with a 2-1 win over Ugo Stowell’s Ridgemont.

Matchday 43

Skyte City 3-0 Athletic Khaldoon
Pythons 0-2 Royal Khaldoon
Valengren Kickers 2-1 1860 Flumineiro
Almondvale 4-2 Ajax Khaldoon II
Salaga F.C 1-1 Ridgemont Town
Jonastown United 1-0 Augustus

Where are Pythons when all the title race drama is going on? Down in 5th. With no hope of a Globe Cup spot unless they win the Trofeo Royal. Ahead of them, Athletic’s recent meh form has seen the drop out of the title race entirely and without a hope of TQCC football have a personal battle between themselves as Almondvale for third in the league. Jonastown’s 1-0 win over Augustus sees them hop over Salaga and puts them in the driving seat going into the final day in the relegation stakes. Two points now separate the top two, a draw for Royal may just be enough for them thanks to their superior goal difference, for the Kickers to claim title glory they need spoilers Almondvale to ruin Royal’s chances with another thumping.. meanwhile the Kickers need to beat Athletic who are fighting the aforementioned Almondvale for third.. so yeah, they’re all kinda relying on one another to do the other one over for their own benefit.

Matchday 44

Jonastown United 3-2 Skyte City
Salaga F.C 1-4 Pythons
Athletic Khaldoon 1-3 Valengren Kickers
Royal Khaldoon 2-1 Almondvale
1860 Flumineiro 1-0 Ajax Khaldoon II
Augustus 1-0 Ridgemont Town

Nobody move! Or nobody moves… wins for Royal secure their second title in a row and their 5th in 10 years, equaling Pythons record and Valengren’s win over Athletic see them finish second. ‘Vale and Athletic don’t shift with their defeats.. so with no movement up top.. who bit the dust? It was Salaga who took a hammering at the hands of Pythons whose 4-1 ruthless drubbing of bottom side Salaga suggest they’re going to make a go of next season after their worst place 5th finish. It wouldn’t have mattered if Salaga hadn’t been so heavily beaten because… J-Town won 3-2, saved their own Una Serie life with victory over Skyte. Elsewhere, Ajax Khaldoon performed pretty solidly in their first season in the big league picking up a superb sixth placed finish, five points behind Pythons.

League I

Villa Ortiz bounce straight back, trouncing all opposition in their wake, picking up points in 37 of their 44 league games. Should the Una Serie sides be scared next year? Probably not. Unless Ortiz actually take a stab at investing and bring some new guys in. At the bottom it’s Burston Wanderers who will be cursing Racing Cruzeira’s good luck, when they managed to win their final game of the year and leap frog them to safety.

That’ll be Port Los Renato’s second league title in 5 seasons. Former pro’ keeper Laurent Balaban who took over the empty manager’s post after being released by NAPPC has done a sterling job in his first year in charge.

Semi-Finals

Royal Khaldoon 1-2 Valengren Kickers
Pythons 0-2 Salaga F.C

After falling short to Royal in the league Valengren took their revenge and eliminated the side from the capital in the semi-finals of the cup and set up their second final in as many seasons. Surprise semi-finalists Salaga aimed to go one better in their match against Pythons and make the big step into the final – completely uncharted territory for them. A 2-0 win over Trofeo Royal VII winners Pythons paved the way for them.

Final

Valengren Kickers 3-1 Salaga F.C

Kickers win! Kickers win! A season after their final day disappointment Valengren finally go out and do what they have been threatening to do since their return to the Una Serie and despite the loss, Salaga fans can take some solace in knowing they’re heading for the Globe Cup for the first time in their history. Maybe now the Cafundeu owners will take heed and throw some money at the club to push them that little bit further.

Globe Cup final stadium:

This time, in order to avoid thinking too much over the files, which had countless information about the quality of the stadia, cities, citizens, food and red light districts, the directors responsible for selecting the venue decided to spread the files over the table and to throw a coin over it. Of course, a coin of minor value in case it got lost. The coin fell on one of the files, which was considered then the "chosen one". So, the host of the final will be the Grovers Park, Orean, in Liventia (capacity 185,000).

TSPNN - News Break

The Krozuy Academics, this year's champion of the Tarrentum Premier Football League, were knocked out of TQCC competition in the Third preliminary round after a second-round victory of 1 - 0 over Sarzonian club Woodstock Wild.

The Academics were simply out played in their 3 - 5 loss to The Weegies club team, Schialtas Niaghuan. S.N. used their sweeping attack formations to easily punch holes in the Academics defense.

The hopes of the TPFL now rest on the shoulders of the Globe Cup clubs Napoliroma Legion and Tre Da La.

Jepstonian club teams compete in first ever international competitions! Iapetos AFC and Erul Town AFC, winner and runner up of the Jepstonian Cup, have both competed internationally for the first time in the nation's sport history.

Twenty-Fifth TakilQuip Champions’ Cup
(JEP) Iapetos AFC 5–3 Elesbery (MAN) 3–0 2–3
(TYR) Mertag FC 7–2 Iapetos AFC (JEP) 6–1 1–1

Iapetos AFC played the first international game at home, winning 3-0 over Elesbery, from Mantwenic. Keeper Joseph Langdon had a phenomenal game, blocking every single shot that came his way, including a penalty kick. Goals were scored by Trent Gulzar (19'), Tobias Cooper (32'), and Wojtek Konstantin (68').

Heading to Mantwenic, things started to unravel. After 60 minutes, all three substitutions were used, and the team was down 3-0. WIth a tie in aggregate at that moment, Iapetos needed something to go right in the last 30 minutes. That happened, when in the 74th minute, Trent Gulzar scored on a free kick, while Sylvester Adams added his first of the cup in the 83rd minute as an insurance goal.

Heading into round, two, Iapetos was off to Tyrrin to face Mertag FC. The game started well for Iapetos, with Gulzar adding his third goal of the cup in the 6th minute, however, some bad decisions led to trouble. Gulzar, having been warned and carded, was taken out of the game before halftime to avoid a red. At this point, down 2-1, Iapetos failed to recover, and, missing their leading scorer, completely lacked morale and offence. In a game with faulty defending, a good offence is required to compensate, however in this game, Iapetos had neither. At the end of the day, Iapetos left Tyrrin thoroughly embarrassed, going down 6-1.

For the return leg, Iapetos changed keepers, letting Lawrence Tomas take over. Tomas played a very solid game, making some nice saves (though lacking the spectacular flair of Langdon, especially in the first game against Elesbery), and allowing only one goal. Defender Ohad Burka scored in the 44th minute to tie the game at 1, a score that would remain for the second half. Despite losing the series 7-2, Iapetos supporters felt that Mertag was, in fact, a class above them, and to hold out for a 1-1 draw immediately after being massacred 6-1 was a great result for the team.

Twenty-Second Chronowire Series B Champions’ Cup
(JEP) Erul Town AFC a 3–3 Toclofania FC (EFL) 1–0 2–3
(SNO) Rode Ster Amsterdam 3–2 Erul Town AFC (JEP) 2–1 1–1

Erul Town started its first international at home as well, winning its first game over Toclofania FC of Eastfield Lodge 1-0 thanks to keeper Moshe Spitz. Heading to Eastfield Lodge, they lost 3-2, however still advanced on away goals (2-0).

Heading to Sorthern Northland, Rode Ster Amsterdam was simply too much to handle, winning 2-1. On the return leg, Erul Town was up 1-0 for a majority of the game before allowing a late 1-1 goal, eliminating them from the competition. Heartbreak for sure, to lose so late, however they tried their hardest and have much to look forward to next year, in the top division, League Alet.
