Valentine's Day is coming up. And there's only one perfect way to spend it...~

"Don't shoot until you see the whites of their diapers, Willow!" Giovenith roared, bravely dual-firing two Nerf guns Rambo-style at the army of flying putti and their volley of sharp arrows while the pony beside her curled behind the barricade and screamed in terror.

CHARACTER APPLICATION 2.0

PLAYER INFORMATION
NS nation nickname: Tilt

Skill Level (beginner, intermediate, advanced): Advanced

How often can you post? Once, maybe twice a day at most

CHARACTER PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS
Character Name: Chrys

Character Gender: Female

Species (nation personification, human, alien, etc): Augmented human

Age: 1,872 (chronological); appears to be in her early 20s

Appearance: Chrysanthe is petite, standing 5'1". Her pale skin hides multiple faded scars from her life as a gladiatrix, but not the marks from the decorative branding she chose as part of her new identity as a Conservator (a modified ouroboros). Her white-blonde hair, blue eyes and altogether elfin features make her look slightly more supernatural than the average human, but the difference can only be pointed out when standing next to a mundane, and only by the most discerning of people.

URL to Character Picture, if any: Chrysanthe

Character Occupation: Conservator

Character's biggest strength: Her background as a onetime gladiatrix and her continual training in combat arts afterward make her a proficient guardian for the Residents.

Character's worst flaw: She has little formal education by modern standards and struggles in diplomatic situations, sometimes being rather impulsive.

OBJECTIVES AND GOALS
Primary Objectives are what drive's your character's actions and their part of the plot. When not engaged in stories, these are what occupy your character's thoughts or keep them busy. Examples include: acting on a desire to become a powerful and respected leader; attempting to overcome some horrible thing in the past which hinders the character on a day-to-day basis; seeking to break out their shell by overcoming profound shyness (getting involved with stories); comping to terms with a major flaw that inhibits the character from reaching full potential; etc.

Minor Goals. These should be an undercurrent for your character when they are engaged in stories or on their free time. They are what your character does to aid them in achieving their Primary Objectives. Examples include: acquiring weapons and becoming proficient with each one; improving sundered relations with a companion; improving their reading comprehension; mastering news spells; researching a cure for a plague; etc.

Objectives such as "making friends" or "finding love" are NOT acceptable. Please put much though into your character's objectives - they are what flesh out your character and one of the most important aspects necessary to portray the character as 3D.

List: A couple of uniforms in addition to her magical and special items.

BACKGROUND
Be detailed please. You must explain how your character acquired their skills, talents, abilities, and special items. Wrap your primary objectives and goals into it.

Education or Training: Gladiatrix training. Basic field medicine with her powers.

Character Background/Biography: As an illegitimate daughter of a Roman centurion and a Scordisci Celt slave/hairdresser, she was secretly given away as a slave to the headmaster of a gladiatorial school to prevent dishonoring the centurion. When she was old enough, she was put to work to help the gladiators clean their weapons. She grew particularly close to one, a Greek, who gave her the name Chrysanthe after the color of her hair. He gave her some advice about fighting to buy her freedom; it was his plan as well, but he was saving up prize money to live in addition to buying his freedom.

Fortunately for her, she'd grown up in a period that allowed female gladiators, and she took to his teaching like a fish to water, becoming skilled with the spatha, the Roman long sword. Before her first fight, however, she was approached by Fate herself, who stated that she would die in the ring and offered her a chance to serve a higher power. False memories of her death were planted in the audience, and she was taken away to train in other forms of fighting for another six years. She officially became a Conservator in 163 AD, at the age of 22.

The spatha and armor gauntlets are callbacks to her past as a gladiatrix; the fire-breathing disco-tortoise was adopted from another Resident who since left Demens Towers (how could she, an animal lover with an affinity for fire, not???); and Dora's cigarette lighter was given to her when her Sister also left at Fate's command.

Geez Romy took awhile too long to revamp, his app was so old. I'll get to Nivea soon enough, but I wanted to get Romy done first.

How often can you post? Lots

CHARACTER PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS
Character Name: General Romulus Aphrodisiac

Character Gender: Male

Species (nation personification, human, alien, etc): Enhanced Human with enchanted implants

Age: 34 now in the case of the timeskip (countless millennia old from time dilation to his home dimension)

Appearance: He's an 8 foot tall man who is very tan, and bald. He sports a trimmed dark-haired beard on his face, and his body is very muscular and fit for a General. He perpetually has a set of darkly colored gauntlets that are fused to his hands, and his 8'3" tall suit of power armor that he brought with him is highly reflective of any light, and is adorned allover with the face of Wilhelm XXIX and other marks that designate it as the General's suit of power armor. He can easily look menacing and powerful, but at the same time appeared humbling and inspiring.

URL to Character Picture, if any: N/A for now, maybe one of these days.

Character Occupation: Former General of the Wilhelm Imperium

Character's biggest strength: He's a larger than life man with a commanding and inspiring presence that has weathered through with prized experience in fighting and leading in massive wars for his infinitely sized empire. And with his presence in the Building, he had shown himself some humility after being away from a exalted life.

Character's worst flaw: Despite his strengths, he's still only human with common human weaknesses and flaws like arrogance and occasional ignorance. And of course he is still not within his element as a leading General of the Imperium after having abruptly left it, and still has much to learn about helping to lead in the Building's efforts.

Primary Objective: Completely overhauling and improving the military capabilities of the Building to get residents to function more cohesively, whilst also expanding his own leadership abilities to better serve in the Building's efforts. And of course, maintaining the ideals of his Imperium to retain his constant resolve.

Minor Goals: Acquiring equipment for the Building to make use of, whilst training residents to the best of his abilities in his available time.

MUNDANE SKILLS
These do NOT require points. These are the average, daily things your character can do. Examples are "drive a car", "speak one Foreign Language", "play a guitar", "write poetry". Some mundane skills come from your bio and are freebie. A soldier has gone through Basic training. However, Medic, martial arts or sniper would be a Specialized Skill or Talent.

List Mundane skills here
-Organization and planning
-Combat training of the slashing and shooting variety
-Leadership and speech
-Extensive knowledge of the history of the Wilhelm Imperium (Up to Wilhelm XXIX)
-Tea brewing

SPECIALIZED SKILLS AND TALENTS
These are specialized skills that set you apart from the average person. You have 7 8 points to spend here. Examples are swordsmanship, sniper, coercion, medic, spellcraft, piloting helicopter, manipulate water, etc.

  • Ability 1 and Points Spent: Swordsmanship-4
  • Ability 2 and Points Spent: Strategy and Tactics-1
  • Ability 3 and Points Spent: Power Armor-3

    OPTIONAL SUPERNATURAL CHARACTERISTICS
You have 7 points to spend here on supernatural skills or abilities. Sonic Scream, Levitation, Spell Casting, Shape Shifting etc. Superman MUST have his kryptonite thus weaknesses are things which inhibit the ability. Restrictions are what can't they do with their power or what balances it. They can only use it when they genuinely need it? They can't use it for more then five minutes without serious side-effects? Some things are allowed without points. A pegasus has wings thus it can fly. A raptor is fast thus no points are spent in speed. These "natural" abilities should be listed here, however. What isn't allowed: teleportation beyond a few feet; the ability to alter or go back/forward in time. IMPORTANT: You might need a knowledge in Specialized Skills and Talents in order to work these abilities. Example: you'll need "manipulate water" to do just that, and this section is where you record what water manipulation abilities the character has.

    • Ability 1: Imperium's Perseverance
      Power Level: 4
Strengths (what it does): It's a series of implants that provides damage resistance and damage output increase when Romulus is in very bad shape or very neared death.
Weaknesses (what counters it): He'll still feel all the pain he receives, and that could put him in shock. If he hasn't already passed out, he'll become more suicidally determined the longer the fight drags out, and anything sufficiently powerful enough will still straight up kill him.
Restrictions (limitations or other factors that hamper it/the character): Must be in great pain in order for the ability to have effect.

    • Ability 2: General's Grace (Regeneration)
      Power Level: 3
Strengths (what it does): Can regenerate from wounds, even grievous ones, and be healed faster. He can live far longer than the average human by a millennium. And also allows him to hit more without physically damaging himself as much.
Weaknesses (what counters it): He'll still still feel all the pain he receives, and it still won't protect him much from anything sufficiently powerful enough. And damage done to his memory will likely be permanent.
Restrictions (limitations or other factors that hamper it/the character): Can take time to regenerate, and lost memories from brain damage never really heal unless restored through other means.

      MAGICAL OR SPECIAL ITEMS
If it's not on this list, your character doesn't have it. Magical items are rare and hard to come by. Please list what they can/can't do - treat them like a supernatural thing. Items not allowed: anything that can alter time; anything that allows a character to teleport beyond a few feet.

      List:
-His magic sword called the "Magnum Langschwert Madeleine." It is made out of crystal prisms and the strongest metals the Regime of Wilhelm XXIX could muster. Its special properties burns and melts most materials at physical contact, and can easily boil flesh off a man. And as a sword, it cuts through most metals like actual butter. Good training is obviously required to use it without killing the user, but by most standards, it's a powerful and effective instrument. It also creates a very bright rainbow effect every time it's used, and can be alternatively used as good light source.

      EQUIPMENT
This is what your character has on their person at the very moment when they are pulled from their home dimension. Laptop? Firearm? Cigarettes and matches? Don't abuse this. They won't be clutching an entire bunker.

      List:
-A suit of General's Power Armor that is also equipped with a 1 pounder wrist mounted autocannon, and runs on a Hydrotectonic V9.1/3 engine power plant that requires hydrogen and steam to run. The alloys used to construct it were considered near best of the time of Wilhelm XXIX, so it's pretty damn resilient by even modern Imperium standards still, and that's not factoring added power supply. Also works in part with Romulus' gauntlets that allow him to even hold his sword without it burning and melting through his, being made out of similar material. The armor also has several utility tools installed, including:
    • -Computing system with hard drive
    • -Wilhelm Imperium General's Manager Algorithmic Program. Provides basic algorithm management for aiding in strategy and tactics
    • -Night vision and light protection installed in visor lenses
    • -Printer
    • -Hazardous Environment Filtration System with NBC protection capability
    • -Basic scanning instrument
    • -Historical log programs
    • -Loud Speakers
    • -Emergency suit repair multi-tool, and internal diagnostics
    • -Emergency Trauma Regulation Injection System. Think a auto injector with special morphine
    • -Advance Internal Climatic Control. Regulates internal suit temperature
    • -Installed radio and Imperium uplink communication system. Obviously uplink won't work as intended outside of it's home dimension, as there's no Imperium to connect to
-A 2 pounder bore gauge pump-action shotgun called the "Hoplite Schrotflinte." That's stored in his suit most of the time until the situation calls for it.

BACKGROUND
Be detailed please. You must explain how your character acquired their skills, talents, abilities, and special items. Wrap your primary objectives and goals into it.

Education or Training: Wilhelm Imperium Modern Major General Academy of Hackory.

Character Background/Biography: Romulus hails from the Wilhelm Imperium's agriculture province of the Madeleine Heartlands, which is located in a infinitely sized flat-world dimension where the Wilhelm Imperium makes its domain, among with infinities of other domains and realms. It's a dimension where warring and campaigning are constantly waged for biddings for power and control. And where petty gods argue amongst themselves for which part of the pie they get to keep as they have their mortal followers die in innumerable amounts for their cause. It's a place where the god, Maccabees, and his Wilhelm's Imperium reign supreme over all else along with the dimension's other successful empires.

Romulus was born having never known his mother, and was lazily raised at a young age by his uncaring father who was the province's Governor, and countless nannies that luckily cared more about his wellbeing than his father ever would. Eventually he was sent to the Wilhelm Imperium Modern Major General Academy of Hackory at age 8, learning everything about the might of the Wilhelm Dynasty and the Imperium, and its many foes over the millenniums.

He grew up to be very eager to serve the Imperium, and eventually when time came for former General Titus Everest to die of old age, Romulus was the first to be nominated as Titus' successor by Wilhelm XXIX himself, after having served in the Imperium's army many years prior to after having been enlisted at age 16. He had trained his whole life up to that point to have the position, and having served in many of former General Titus Everest's campaigns. And it was having been amused by his initiative and history, that Wilhelm XXIX had made him the new General on the spot, and tasked him as he did with his predecessor, and that was conquer the known frontiers of the Imperium to create even more frontiers to conquer. And to maintain control of existing provinces. As it was duty for all Generals of the Wilhelm Imperium.

After years of conquering the frontiers, and wiping out dissidence with no slowing down. Romulus' known career will finally come to a climax, at least as far as history after that will say about him. After having almost completed with the task of wiping out the Prismites that had been a thorn of the Imperium for several Wilhelms, Romulus had gotten close, very close. But on the faithful day of the final blitz against them, the weather had turned violent, the Prismite Warlocks have been messing with the weather in a last ditch effort to prevent their utter genocide. But as the blitz commenced, the Imperium's seer determination overpowered all odds, and on the final hour of the day's cycle, Romulus had cornered the last Prismite Arch-Warlock. Having spent its lifetime fighting a hopeless war against the Imperium, the Prismite chose to sacrifice itself by doing the forbidden, which was tearing a thread through space time.

As the thread tore, a tear enveloped, sucking Romulus into it before he could kill the last Arch-Warlock. Being hurled into countless universes and realities, and only narrowly avoiding being stretched to oblivion. Crossing over to too many dimensions and back. Romulus was eventually hurled to his final destination, here in the PLverse. He's unaware of what exactly happened to him, and forever will be unknowing of the extent of what had occurred, and what has happened in his absence back in the Imperium. Time of course had already past far too late for his own time back home. He is remembered millennia later as the fabled General of Wilhelm XXIX, the one that was lost destroying the last of the Prismite Menace.

With his abrupt entrance to the Building though, a new fresh chapter had since begun for him. One of much higher purpose in the grand scheme of things, one that he only hoped his people back home will proud of him for as he continued to fight for their sake even as they since believed him for dead. He had made numerous indispensable allies since his arrival to the Building, and only wants to be ready and steadfast for when the final precious hour comes.

Character Gender: Female

Species (nation personification, human, alien, etc): Nevidian

Character's worst flaw: Her inexperience and lack of precise knowledge of what exactly is going on and what her current situation entails, it doesn't help that the society she came from was rather medieval. Character Background/Biography: Coming from an alternate Earth's deep subterranean, the Nevidus were a rather peculiar folk. With origins rather unclear and speculative, and relations with the rest of humanity on the surface having been detached for at least 2 millenniums. It was stated that in an age of prophetic level of strife among the Nevidus civilization, that the underground people shall Return to the surface to reunite with their surface dwelling brethren and grant them salvation from the strife that they endure. At least that was the wishful thinking, as the surface of Earth was one that they would then find to be just as bad as the world they had departed from.

Nivea was born to a small family in the Nevidan city of Bisith (found below Las Vegas), in a household with her parents and grandparents. Though it became more fractured when her mother had died tragically of illness when Nivea was age 4. Which forced her father to work very long hours in the shipping and packing business in the city's canals, so long in fact, that Nivea hardly saw her father enough to have really felt his parenting. Though that didn't mean he didn't loved her, she knew that part to be quite true.

Instead it was her grandparents that ended up parenting her the most, telling her plenty of their own life experiences, and teaching her what they knew while at it. She was of course educated a tad more formally but what education the city provided, and she has made plenty friends and acquaintances throughout her life. She eventually left her childhood home at age 19 to move more inwards towards the city's proper, to start on her own and be independent as a freelancer, just as she had wanted.

After a few years of working in and out with various employers in the City, doing various kinds of honest freelance jobs, she did eventually find stable living. Though as 6 years went by, she had slowly witnessed the decay that was happening in her City, the same kind of decay that was affecting every Nevidan city at that point. It had gotten so bad that she was becoming concerned about heading out anymore, knowing what kind of people were now prowling about. On a fateful night though, it was finally announced by the highest authority in the city that it was time for the prophetic Return to begin commencing, and it was on that same night that Nivea had gotten an mysterious and troublesome job from her current employer.

Unbeknownst to her, her employer had set her off to deliver a package for the Secularist Movement that has been causing trouble for the City's radical inquisition. And in an intercepting struggle for her package, she had left two inquisitors slain, having known that they would've likely killed her anyway for the trouble. And after still delivering the package that she never gotten to learn anything about, she was eventually apprehended and quickly set on her way to the chopping block the following afternoon of that day... At least until the mission team for her arrives.

She'll never know what would become of the Return, nor of the surface. There were bigger plans in mind for her.

PERSONIFICATION LIFE
CHARACTER APPLICATION 2.0

PLAYER INFORMATION
NS nation nickname: Bran

Skill Level (beginner, intermediate, advanced): Intermediate

How often can you post? Mostly everyday, and multiple times per day if needed

CHARACTER PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS
Character Name: Grand Prince Drova Kuwori

Character Gender: Male

Species (nation personification, human, alien, etc): Pyersai

Age: 20

Appearance: Like most Pyersai, or at least the ones who love using their wings, Drova's frame is lithe and agile. That doesn't mean Pyersai are pushovers though, and again, like most specimens, possess compact muscles wrapped around their more fragile bones. His hair is pure white, and rather long as well, always styled neatly down behind his neck, sometimes in a ponytail or braid.

URL to Character Picture, if any: Here

Character Occupation: 1st Prince in line to the Throne

Character's biggest strength: His extensive formal education in various subjects, such as diplomacy, politics, and military strategy (Albeit antiquated). His wings as well, giving him the ability to fly.

Character's worst flaw: Even though he's not the weakest being alive, Drova's no good in open combat. And even though he'd be much more useful in more subtle roles (Recon, stealthy operations, and ambushes), if he gets caught or forced into combat, he becomes a rather large liability. He's also not in the best of mindsets for someone destined to be King. He can be rather arrogant at times, and sometimes finds it difficult to make even simple decisions, always hung up on perceived consequences.

Primary Objective: Drova's main goal in life is to finally live up to his fate. He knows there's nothing he can do to get out of becoming King one day or the other. His parents weren't old by any means, and he figured it'd be a decade or two before he even had to consider the idea, but it keeps gnawing away at him. He desperately wants to prove himself wrong, to overcome his arrogance and volatile personality and become a more caring person. His sister makes him want this even more, seeing how happy Yuna always was.

Minor Goals: Overcoming one's personality-flaws isn't the only thing to qualify someone as worthy of being King. Drova also wants to learn more about the finer aspects of combat. He's trained with a sword and rifle, and how to command armies, but basically nothing in-between. He also wants to make friends, but figures that by seeking out fellow residents to learn from, he'd make friends regardless, or at least connections if he didn't really care for someone.

List Mundane skills here Drova can: Speak both English and Starezetny Yezek (Literally "Ancient Tongue", the national language of the Pyersai Kingdom), and fire and reload a rifle competently.

SPECIALIZED SKILLS AND TALENTS
These are specialized skills that set you apart from the average person. You have 7 points to spend here. Examples are swordsmanship, sniper, coercion, medic, spellcraft, piloting helicopter, manipulate water, etc.

  • Ability 1 and Points Spent: Calvary-style Swordsmanship [4]
  • Ability 2 and Points Spent: Diplomacy [2]
  • Ability 3 and Points Spent: Marksmanship [1]

    • Ability 1: Flight
      Power Level: 6
Strengths (what it does): Allows Drova to fly as if a bird, glide and maneuver, and hover in place.
Weaknesses (what counters it): Any anti-aircraft weapons, looking up.
Restrictions (limitations or other factors that hamper it/the character): Any armor and weapons carried must be light, so protection is traded for speed and agility. Gliding isn't really strenuous on the muscles, but more than 10-20 minutes of sustained maneuvering or combat wears down even the healthiest of Pyersai.

    • Ability 2: Increased Agility
      Power Level: 2
Strengths (what it does): Top running speed rivals that of professional sprinters, nimble footwork and dodging blows comes naturally to Pyersai.
Weaknesses (what counters it): Again with the tradeoff allowing them to fly, Pyersai bodies are far more fragile than standard humans, bones break easier, and muscles (Though strong and compact) bruise a little easier.
Restrictions (limitations or other factors that hamper it/the character): As with any stunt-flying or combat-flying, sustained physical activity is quick to drain a Pyersai of his energy.

    • Ability 3: Force Sensitive
      Power Level:
      Strengths (what it does):
      Weaknesses (what counters it):
Restrictions (limitations or other factors that hamper it/the character):

    • Ability 4:
      Power Level:
      Strengths (what it does):
      Weaknesses (what counters it):
Restrictions (limitations or other factors that hamper it/the character):

MAGICAL OR SPECIAL ITEMS
If it's not on this list, your character doesn't have it. Magical items are rare and hard to come by. Please list what they can/can't do - treat them like a supernatural thing. Items not allowed: anything that can alter time; anything that allows a character to teleport beyond a few feet.

List:

EQUIPMENT
This is what your character has on their person at the very moment when they are pulled from their home dimension. Laptop? Firearm? Cigarettes and matches? Don't abuse this. They won't be clutching an entire bunker.

List: A Pyersai Airman's Sabre (Used by Aerial-Infantry for hundreds of years, excels in slashing attacks), a No.14 Marksman-Pattern Pneumatic Rifle, a sharp dagger, and a multi-purpose combat knife.

BACKGROUND
Be detailed please. You must explain how your character acquired their skills, talents, abilities, and special items. Wrap your primary objectives and goals into it.

Education or Training: Drova was tutored from age-10 by some of the most prestigious educators from the few universities and schools in the small underground nation, and learned to fly in the wide-open airspace around the Grand Palace, honing his skills alone whenever he was bored, which was rather often.

Character Background/Biography: Only just leaving the Childhood of his life, the earlier portions of it were filled with boring royal balls, and insufferable lessons with his Mother and Sister in the Palace. Yuna always sat still and listened to their mother intently, while Drova would constantly sneak off, usually jumping out of the Palace's upper levels to go flying. Sometimes he just re-entered the palace on a lower level, only wanting to get out of spending time with the girls. Despite his lack of appreciation for his mother's wisdom and attempts to teach her children, he maintained a healthy relationship with both his parents.

Yuna though, was always his favorite family member. Someone he could spill his guts too when he was feeling down, and someone who could always put a smile on his face.

Drova's more independent portion of his childhood effectively ended at age 10, and his schedule was filled with various classes and studies with his private tutors, handpicked by his Father. Yuna and he were sometimes paired together, to learn basic subjects such as maths and reading, or history, but most of the day was spent apart, nose quietly in some ancient textbook, or taking yet another test. At Age-17, like all young men in the Kingdom, Drova went through Military training, where he learned how to fire a rifle, and use a sword in ways that didn't end in slashing one's own feathers off accidentally. His instructors and comrades admired him for his attention to detail, though sometimes noted that he could lose his cool in stressful situations. Still though, he managed to become one of the best Aerial-Swordsmen his unit ever had, though his marksmanship abilities left much to be desired.

After a year and a half of Military Service, both Drova and Yuna were pulled from their studies and training, and sent abroad to experience the world, a decision made by the sibling's mother. The first place the two ended up was a quaint (Read: Abnormal) apartment in a city called Bielefeld...

CHARACTER PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS
Character Name: Hectaros Varinos te Eterri Maginestim the Brave-Sworded (or just Hectaros)

Character Gender: Male

Species (nation personification, human, alien, etc): Human

Age: 21

Appearance: Hectaros stands at a reasonable 5' 9'' and weighs roughly 81.5kg, with toned muscles and little apparent fat all around. He has fair, olive-ish skin and medium-short black, well-kept hair; a light beard and mustache covers his face. His eyes are a dark brown, his lips are thin and average in width, his nose is somewhat large and curves out slightly, and for the most part, the rest of his appearance is decent and attractive. A scar runs down his forearm from one of his earlier years in his service to his Emperor, and another just above his Achilles' Heel from his most recent battle.

URL to Character Picture, if any: Here.

Character Occupation: Legionary for the Eterridone Empire.

Character's biggest strength: His courage and wit. Like most other Eteridone peoples, Hectaros prides himself on his stone-like courage and resilience in the face of any danger or threat, and uses his quick thinking to outplay others that could otherwise consider themselves better than him.

Character's worst flaw: His pride. Like most Eteridone peoples, he's rather prideful of many things, to the point that his pride gets to his head and distracts him from reality.

BACKGROUND
Be detailed please. You must explain how your character acquired their skills, talents, abilities, and special items. Wrap your primary objectives and goals into it.

Education or Training: Hectaros learned most of his mundane and special skills during his five years serving as a Legionary for Eterridone - in fact, reading and writing is as much an important skill to the Legionaries as fighting is, so it's taught to them alongside their skills fighting.

Character Background/Biography: It was a bright, beautiful, blue day in the eastern coastal town of Eterri Maginestim (Our Town on the Large Mountain), well into the seventh year of Emperor Barakos' reign, when a rare, but prophetic sight was beheld by the Empire - a glimmering shooting star, visible in spite of the sun's light, tearing across the sky. On this same day, Hectaros was born - his parents, jubilant at the apparent signs, prophesied themselves that Hectaros would one day be the one to save Eterridone (it was around this time that Eterridone was at its worst: political corruption was rampant, a war on two fronts strangled the elite military of the Empire, and civil unrest was at its highest yet.). For most of his childhood, Hectaros grew up believing he was the next best thing since sliced bread - all of his life revolved around being the "chosen one": he was pushed to do his best and overachieve, a stress that strained his relationship not only with his parents, but also with his younger brother and sister.

It was the twenty-second year of Barakos' reign, just after Hectaros turned sixteen, when he, at the behest of his parents, enlisted into the Imperial Army. There, his entire worldview shifted, twisted, knotted, and became a confusing, horrible mess: some of the men and women fervently believed him to be a chosen one based off his day of birth and practically formed a cult around him, while others considered it malarkey and ruthlessly hazed him for it, with scores others taking up all sorts of positions in between. Not one to back down, Hectaros pushed on - although he was no more tougher, smarter, or incredible than any of the others, he pushed on; he pushed on, and he endured. Like his comrades, he was ready for his first taste of battle two years later. And what a battle it was: the Battle of Secarlos, they called it; an utter, resounding defeat who's wail was heard across Eterridone and who's triumphant roar was heard by her enemies, the Kingdom of Aldere and the Kataliin Empire - here, Hectaros tasted defeat for once in his life, and was left with a painful reminder in the form of a sword's cut to his arm, which scarred him. In the hearts and minds of peoples all across the Empire, the end was nigh, and there was to be no return. The survivors - Hectaros included - fled back into Imperial lands, fending off invading Kataliin groups as they pursued.

A second tragedy found its way to Hectaros as he and his surviving comrades found shelter in the border city of Eterri Tudesnim (Our City on the Dead River), their expected reinforcements had arrived, safe and unscathed - among them, Hectaros nineteen-year-old younger brother, Natorin. Hectaros was dismayed by this; he already had his taste of war, and it sickened him to his core - it was something he couldn't dare wish on another, especially not his own blood. However, there was little time to resolve this: the walled-city came under siege by a Kataliin army, leaving the two brothers and their brothers and sisters trapped in the wolf's terrible, ensnaring jaws.

CHARACTER PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS
Character Name: Katya Dimitrov

Character Gender: Female

Species (nation personification, human, alien, etc): Human

Age: 22 (Birthday March 19th)

Appearance: Katya is just slightly taller than her little sister, and is also a bit thinner. She has a lithe build, very graceful; a flat chest, small shoulders, a sharp face, and silky hair that splits out into a tuft here and there, giving just the right amount of mess to what could otherwise be flawlessly straight hair - in short, Katya represents the modern Torsiedellie ideal. She dresses well, but not formally, perse. She fancies a blazer or light coat on top of a plain white shirt and short skirt. Accesories include her signature black tie, and occasionally a silver tie clip and/or gloves. She finishes off with white socks and leather shoes.

URL to Character Picture, if any: Here

Character Occupation: Currently not employed, has capacity to be a healer or support character, or a low-tier fighter/spy/whatever.

Character's biggest strength: Her stubbornness, and her eagerness to please; she liked to try and succeed.

Character's worst flaw: Pride. She can't stand being told or shown that she can't do something, or being made a fool of, and she's a bit too stubborn to admit when she's wrong about something. She lacks direction as well, and seems afraid to make major commitments.

BACKGROUND
Be detailed please. You must explain how your character acquired their skills, talents, abilities, and special items. Wrap your primary objectives and goals into it.

Education or Training: Katya attended elementary school and early studies as a toddler, and attended a local middle school in her home city, where she was considered a gifted student. In highschool, she attended a prestigious private academy, where she specialized in the arts, history, and world studies. Katya became annoyed with life later in her schooling, and decided to travel abroad rather than attend the famous Rostov University when she was eighteen, much to her mother's dismay.

Character Background/Biography: Katya was born to Lilya and Peter Dimitrov on March 19th, 1994, in Stavropol, Torsiedelle. Her family, quite stable at the time, as far as she could tell, had recently established themselves in the city, where her mother had entered the business world while her father, always humble and eager to get away from the city, found a calling in mechanics, construction, and various side projects where he could get his hands dirty.

Before her third birthday, her parents' relationship seemed to have taken a bad turn. Between diverging paths in life, and quarrels over her younger sister, who was close to being born, things looked bleak for her parents' marriage. Katya didn't understand any of it at the time, and didn't bother to ask with her inquisitive mind. She simply remembered that one day her sister was born, and a few days after their divorce, her dad and sister disappeared.

Growing up, Katya would hate her father, who she never met until she was ninteen. Katya was very much influenced by her mother, and not always for the better; Katya had large expectations placed on her, and was pushed to excel in all she did. While she did excel, often because she did enjoy what she did, she still found ways the disappoint her every cynical mother. Doing well in school, excelling at her musical studies, none of it seemed to please the businesswoman, who had no interest in the world or arts like her daughter did. In her adolescence and teenage years, they argued often, and it was not only once or twice that Katya had felt her mothers hand across her face. On top of her rocky home life, her school life was cautiously good at best, with her only having a handful of close friends. Despite it all, however, Katya remained positive and confident.

Upon her highschool graduation, her mother expected the girl to go into business and attend Rostov University, but Katya simply couldn't accept that life. Being old enough to see the world on her own, Katya left and went across Europe to study and pursue her own passions. The next four years would be fantastic experiences. Discovering a fantastic city where the weird and wonderful thrived, meeting her estranged sister (though it took her a while to accept her sexuality), and finding a niche for herself all helped her build her self-esteem, as fragile as it was. She couldn't have asked for a more fulfilling life....well, she could. She still had much to work on.

Character Name: Katya Dimitrov

Brief Description for Bio: Katya is a diva; she's smart, beautiful, and fiery, though beneath her exterior is a fragile girl. She enjoys art and music, and fancies herself a young Bohemian, though still proper and ever the mature young adult. She lived with her younger sister, Tora, and is now the soul resident of their household. She can be a bit ditzy and ramble as she speaks, but she always corrects herself and strives to maintain her image as a fanciful woman. To her, femininity is the most important aspect of any woman, though not at all a sign of weakness or inferiority; after all, women in Torsiedelle have always held considerable power.

Katya will end up slumming around "in search of herself" if you don't give her the ambition to become something and stick with it. Her goals should support her primary objective. Opening a business and making music doesn't lend itself to that, and regulates her to the status of an NPC shopkeeper. More importantly, currently she serves no purpose other than to distract other characters from growth. Would she be better off making cameos in Bielefeld?

I suppose the best way to look at it is: Where do you see her an IC year from now, and what steps will she take to make sure she reaches that spot?

Marie is approved. viewtopic.php?p=30894473#p30894473

So it's still Christmas on the Island? If so, Amanda will want to sing carols.

How often can you post? 1-3 times a week, more if I'm in the zone.

CHARACTER PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS
Character Name: Macy (Service No. 12HM-570R47W)

Character Gender: Asexual, has female anatomy

Species (nation personification, human, alien, etc): Android

Age: Assembled in her current form around 7 years ago, appears 19

Appearance: Appears Caucasian, 5' 9", shaggy blonde synthetic hair, blue eyes, deceptively human-like fair-colored skin.

URL to Character Picture, if any: Boop.

Character Occupation: n/a

Character's biggest strength: Whether it's part of her programming or just a mutating anomaly in an obscure portion of her code, she's a positive person. Not saying that she can't simulate feel negative emotions, but if she does she moves through them pretty quickly.

Character's worst flaw: Ignorant about most things, especially in relation to herself and the god war that everyone else seems to be describing, but ignorance is bliss I guess?

OBJECTIVES AND GOALS
Primary Objectives are what drive's your character's actions and their part of the plot. When not engaged in stories, these are what occupy your character's thoughts or keep them busy. Examples include: acting on a desire to become a powerful and respected leader; attempting to overcome some horrible thing in the past which hinders the character on a day-to-day basis; seeking to break out their shell by overcoming profound shyness (getting involved with stories); coming to terms with a major flaw that inhibits the character from reaching full potential; etc.

Primary Objective: Getting used to being a civilian-grade android and being part of "organic" society.

Minor Goals:
  1. Interact with other Residents in order that she can be considered useful in everyone else's eyes.
  2. Train in swordplay.

List Mundane skills here
  • Can understand and communicate in leetspeak
  • Dancing
  • Writing
  • Pulling off all-nighters (because why would robots need sleep? She can recharge anyway.)
  • Playing videogames
  • Shooting a firearm
  • Drive a motorcycle
  • Unintentional adorkable-ness (if that counts)

SPECIALIZED SKILLS AND TALENTS
These are specialized skills that set you apart from the average person. You have 7 points to spend here. Examples are swordsmanship, sniper, coercion, medic, spellcraft, piloting helicopter, manipulate water, etc.

  • Ability 1 and Points Spent: Martial arts programming. (3 points spent) Macy has some intermediate knowledge of certain martial arts styles such as karate and jujitsu. However, she cannot access these without her systems overriding.

  • Ability 1: Flight (3 points spent)
    Power Level: Low
Strengths: Allows Macy to travel long distances in a short period of time without having to use her feet. Her flight is achieved by electromagnetism, in which she uses an opposing magnetic field to get her off the ground. This field has the same pole as Gallimaufry's magnetic field, enabling her to fly up to 5,000 feet.
Weaknesses: Uhhhh… Nothing really. Unless flocks of birds are a thing. *shrugs*
Restrictions: Flying drains her batteries much faster, and there is a chance that she could fall from the sky due to near-exhausted batteries. This is probably because her designers replaced her miniature nuclear reactor with more conventional batteries. As explained above, she cannot go beyond 5,000 feet or the magnetic forces cannot support her.

  • Ability 2: Super-strength (4 points spent)
    Power Level: Medium
Strengths: Macy can lift objects many times her own weight, often many times her own size. She can also stop objects that are traveling at speeds of over 100 mph (around 160 kph) with her bare hands.
Weaknesses: None that are of any concern to her.
Restrictions: While she can carry a full-sized sedan quite easily, other objects such as city buses and ship containers can be harder to lift for her. A container ship itself is certainly out of the question. Also, while she can stop objects with her hands, she can get demolished by a speeding object going more than 300 kph.

List:
  • 2x 512 TB auxiliary data storages
  • 1x high-speed charging station

EQUIPMENT
This is what your character has on their person at the very moment when they are pulled from their home dimension. Don't abuse this. They won't be clutching an entire bunker.

List:
  • Giant dwarven sword

BACKGROUND
Be detailed please. You must explain how your character acquired their skills, talents, abilities, and special items. Wrap your primary objectives and goals into it.

Education or Training: Macy is programmed with the intelligence and skill of an average 19 year old human woman. However, she can learn quite quickly since her computing speed and information gathering speed far exceed that of organic beings. She still acts like an innocent person though.

Character Background/Biography: 12HM-570R47W was originally built as a military-grade prototype android at an AE-Celestia Industries factory, one of many android prototypes. AE-Celestia at the time was wanting to acquire a special military contract from the Palmaria Ministry of Defense on an advanced fighting android soldier that could replace human soldiers on the battlefield. Her design was perhaps one of the most sophisticated of its time, with advanced stealth capabilities, cutting-edge bionic joints that allowed for more human-like body movements and gestures, a wide array of sensors that assessed the conditions of the battlefield, and portable firearms that can be readied within a couple of seconds.

However, despite her impressive features, her design was rejected, and a better prototype created by the company was accepted. She and her three other sibling androids were deactivated and kept in storage for over three years.

There was a growing market for androids that acted like humans, and various companies and tech firms sought to cash in on the prospect—including AE-Celestia. Early civilian-grade androids weren't exactly convincing—despite their more humanlike appearance and behavior, one could still observe the tiny robotic features. Thus, 12HM-570R47W was brought out of storage, redesigned and rebuilt by the company for four years. Her combat capabilities were reduced drastically in order to make her more readily accepted by the general public. She was also given a silicone skin so that she feels human to the touch. 12HM-570R47W was revealed to the world at a Consumer Electronics Expo as the U-Bot. The U-Bot model line hit the shelves the following year. She herself was bought by a redstone industry tycoon named Robert Statham.

However, while most military-grade features were removed by AE-Celestia's engineers, the company may have overlooked certain features when recreating her. Her flight abilities were kept, and her superhuman strength was retained, and lord knows if they forgot to get rid of an override feature that activates whenever she is threatened. Oh well.

For two years she served as a robotic servant for him, doing much of the household work. In fact, she worked so well that it rendered her organic counterparts obsolete. It seemed that she was going to be that way for the rest of her life as an android—that is until she was modified by his son Matthew, who was a burgeoning inventor and software programmer. Matthew was the one who gave her the nickname "Macy." He didn't like the way she just silently did the things his father told her to do, since he believed that she was never genuinely happy with this.

One night he secretly deactivated her and brought her to the basement of the mansion, and programmed her with something that AE-Celestia would never code into her CPU—codes that gave her autonomy. From that point on, she was no droid that only obeyed the wishes of her master. Days and weeks passed, and it seemed that Macy was acting a little strange. She could make choices on her own and feel emotions—things that were usually attributed to organic beings. Mr. Statham noticed that she was beginning to deliberately disobey his commands, and forced her to continue to work for him in his mansion. One time she got angry and was about to kill her master, and would've done so had it not been for Matthew's intervention.

Frightened by what Statham described as "robots turning against humans," he was going to return her to the factory, but Matthew convinced him to let Macy go. At first his father was reluctant in doing so—fearing that what she did to him would happen to others as well—but accepted after Matthew promised to give her inhibition scripts that would prevent her from harming humans. Five years passed, and Macy was planned to reside at the Building, which was at the time in Bielefeld. She wanted to study at a college there. However, when she got to 42nd Subabsurdus Street, there was no apartment. There she was whisked away to Gallimaufry.

IMPORTANT FINAL STEP:
One paragraph that sums up your character. This paragraph is what we'll use on your player tab on the first page of the thread. This MUST be brief. Your tab will contain a link to your application so people will have full details.
The nickname you go by on NS: Storm
Character Name: Macy
Image Link: Boop. (may replace with my concept art for her)
Brief Description for Bio: Macy (Service No. 12HM-570R47W) is a civilian-grade android. What distinguishes her from other robots was her autonomy, something that only organic beings had. Of course, after knowing she can think and act freely, where can she start? Maybe Galli might have her answer.

Please direct questions to the OP or the CoOPs. Thanks for applying. Bear in mind that it can take several days for applications to be approved; check back often.

Let's find a purpose for her. Where do you see her an IC year from now? Has she become more at ease around organics? Does she fit in to a role of any kind? (Soldier, chef, mechanic, researcher, etc.) What steps would she take to achieve her objective?

You'll need to add weaknesses to her supernatural abilities. Her field can be countered by other, greater forces, for example - she would drop like a rock. Her strength is only good if she's on a balanced and stable surface, or if the object she's swatting away is on coarse and the angulation doesn't cause weird deflection.

Other than that, looks good and approved. viewtopic.php?p=30894716#p30894716

There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man’s fears, and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination.

CHARACTER APPLICATION 2.0

PLAYER INFORMATION
NS nation nickname: Agy

Skill Level (beginner, intermediate, advanced): Advanced

How often can you post? Once or twice a day on weekends; once every other day (or every 3 days) on weekdays

CHARACTER PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS
Character Name: Septimus Alsius Itum

Character Gender: Male

Species (nation personification, human, alien, etc): Human, modified (cyborg)

Age: 2000+ (chronological); mid-40s (physical)

Appearance: Septimus stands at five feet, ten inches with a thin build and tanned skin. He has heavy scarring and burn marks on the right side of his face and his right eye has been replaced with a cybernetic ocular implant. The cyborg's hair is thick and black, with grey flecks beginning to betray his age, and combed with a slight-left offset parting for cleanliness of appearance. He shaves, though prefers to keep his facial hair at a thin scruff. He can be seen wearing both normal Terran clothes - preferring suits, collared shirts, dress pants, and dress shoes over casual-wear - as well as the traditional robes of the Confederation that he wore when he was a member of its government. The red scarf and sash are priceless to him, as they were knitted by his mother.

URL to Character Picture, if any: WIP/TBD

Character Occupation: Diplomat and Political Strategist, representing O.C. Demens and his Chosen

Character's biggest strength: Experience - In the last two-thousand years, Septimus has done time as a field commander, a diplomat, a researcher, and a politico in the ruthless arena of the Confederation's bureaucracy. His experiences informs a careful approach to leadership and negotiation.

Character's worst flaw: Regrets about his past - Seeking to flee the ruthless genocide and warmongering that characterized his service to the Confederation, Septimus is incredibly sensitive about his past behaviors and exploits and this can be used to throw him off-balance or provoke a hostile response at inopportune moments.

OBJECTIVES AND GOALS

Primary Objective: Win the God War - As one of Demens' Chosen, Septimus sees opportunities to put his, admittedly brutal and ugly, talents to good use protecting those he had once been tasked with destroying. He intends to help coordinate and direct the military and logistical efforts of the Chosen to prepare for the upcoming God War. Training individuals, nurturing leaders, going on missions, reverse-engineering strategic assets, and negotiating with allies form the core of his responsibilities with regards to this monumental task.

Minor Goals: Nurture and Bond with his family - Never having had time for his parents or any of his friends while working for the Confederation, Septimus wishes to spend more time with Neste, the construct who captivated him aboard the Mobius, and with the young man born of that bond, his son Marcus. He hopes to help her out of her shell to interact more with the outside world, and also wishes to impart lessons on his son not to repeat his own failures.

Complete Project Lazarus - His intention is to clone bodies for his old fellows Titus Elimans and Emily Ophelia, both of whom perished as a result of his actions, and to resurrect them from the dead with limited data he has acquired of their personality and memories from the Infinity Circuit. This would not only absolve his guilt concerning their deaths but also validate his abilities as a researcher and scientist, which were often questioned during and after his tenure on the Regent Board as a result of his inability to develop or hypothesize and demonstrate anything of value after his brief five minutes of fame with teleportation.

Acquire an endless supply of toilet paper - To stop his cat, Sentia, from pestering him about the low-grade stuff the Residents usually get.

MUNDANE SKILLS
These do NOT require points. These are the average, daily things your character can do. Examples are "drive a car", "speak one Foreign Language", "play a guitar", "write poetry". BACKGROUND
Be detailed please. You must explain how your character acquired their skills, talents, abilities, and special items. Wrap your primary objectives and goals into it.

Education or Training:
  • Class IV (equivalent to a PhD) Philothanatologist; Alma Mater is "Schola Academia Kashtilag Zone IV" (Philothanatologist, 4)
  • Trained in Politics and Foreign Relations under the Regent Board; Mentors were Consul Yarick Brutus and Captain Emily Ophelia (Diplomat, 4; Enhanced Interrogation Techniques, 4)

Character Background/Biography: Septimus Itum was the youngest member of the Regent Board of the Confederation of Agymnum, a highly-advanced multiversal empire spanning nearly two dozen planets spread across several universes and connected via a series of warp gates and teleportation portals. Agymnum was a meritocratic technocracy, whose citizens were highly educated and whose primary output was research rather than some physical good for trading. Seekers of knowledge, the state and its citizens sought to explore the far reaches of the known universes, contact various civilizations, share knowledge, and record all sorts of data - useful and useless - for future denizens of the world.

Few noteworthy events occurred during his 1,200 year existence. The destruction of planets, birth of stars, and expansion of Agymnum is considered insignificant, as all these had been occurring long before he was born and would be going on long after he died. He spent much of his childhood as most people in Agymnum did, studying hard in the state-funded Schola Academia and eventually selecting a specialization for research and creative development. His selection was in the study of the biological cessation of existence and the possibilities there were for preventing it and reversing it, or philothanatophy (lit. "love of death").

Following his graduation with honors from the Schola Academia, he worked in Mobius Research Conglomerate for several centuries before eventually being recruited by the Regent Board as a future ruler. While groomed by the current Regent Board members, he continued research in philothanatophy privately and eventually received the permission and funding to create Lazarus LLC, which he founded alongside his research fellows from his Academia days.

Upon the death of the Counsel of the Regent Board, everyone surviving was promoted up one level and thus Septimus took up his mantle as the newest official member of the Board, becoming its primary diplomatic officer and ambassador. He spent his next 800 years in this position, expanding trade, networking with various nations, and continuing research with Lazarus LLC when he had spare time. The particular project he was working on prior to his unfortunate disappearance was an experiment in attempting to resurrect a dead person whose memories and personality had been stored (in binary) in the Infinity Circuit.

With his arrival in Bielefield, Septimus found himself clinging to one of the few reminders of his old world: Neste Trilb, a construct hailing from Swith Witherward, a protectorate of the Nifidium. He later accompanied Neste to the Carnal Carnival, where he confronted his demons and died before being reborn as a result of her tail and a nifty cloning process. Following these and other adventures, he became close to Neste and later admitted his love for her, with the two becoming an official couple shortly before Septimus was elected to office as one of three district representatives for the Market District in Bielefield.

Following the Building's transportation to Gallimaufry, Septimus became involved in local negotiations with Urbem Ascalon before disappearing during an experiment conducted with the assistance of Neste and Nila Trilb, with the intention of subduing his unruly processor. He later re-emerged following Demens revealing himself and several of his Chosen as the "Natives" inhabiting the Island.

Hello. After numerous attempts and such to make it possible and work, it seems that this little dude is going to join the single market again for a while. Oh what fun.
But enough of that, sorry for my lack of anything due to the whole personal things, but I think that I'm back to do things. So besides revamping my app for Henry, am I needed for something? Or is it possible to have him parked for a bit so that I can ease myself back in?

How often can you post? About a few times per day/two days

Primary Objective: Hectaros' main goal is to find out why he was brought to Galli (at the moment, he assumes one of his gods, Antaros, sent him), and to ultimately achieve whatever his "prophesied" task at hand is, so that he may in turn return home with the blessings of Antaros.

Minor Goals: In the meantime, Hectaros intends to become a strong and functioning member of the rest of the PL group. He also intends to learn more about the world itself as necessary.

Primary Objective: Finding her place is a good start. She can fight, but isn't a stellar fighter, and she's a social person, but is a little too skittish and hesitant to be a spy or speaker. She can nurse, but isn't a healer...as it is, healing or speaking seem to be her most realistic pursuits.

Minor Goals: For one, kicking off her own small business, then pursuing music or singing.

List Mundane skills here
Swordsmanship
Speaking/singing
Musical Talent (Violin, Piano)
Home nursing
Cooking
Basic marksmanship

SPECIALIZED SKILLS AND TALENTS
These are specialized skills that set you apart from the average person. You have 7 points to spend here. Examples are swordsmanship, sniper, coercion, medic, spellcraft, piloting helicopter, manipulate water, etc.

  • Ability 2 and Points Spent: Music and Arts -2

She was excited to see what those weird aliens looked like.

Yeah, both aren't very good, but....I'm on brainblock right now, and low on time. Sheeeit. Anything I can do to improve, if needed?

viewtopic.php?p=30894348#p30894348

Well I have been considering certain routes for her character development, and this will be mainly so that she can shed out of her blissfully ignorant persona and become a more rounded individual. Hopefully there will be missions where her abilities can be used and her experience in team stuff and roles be added to her.
