At first glance, it looks like that car is about to run into those small poles. However, when the angle changes, they reveal themselves to be painted on the floor.
When you apply Flat Earth Society's reasoning to this GIF, you'd have to say the following and really believe it:
1) "NO YOU CAN'T CHANGE THE CAMERA ANGLE"
2) "NO THAT CAR IS SUPPOSED TO CRASH"
Ignoring scientific evidence while strictly sticking to a narrow and spare collection of pseudoscience which they themselves call "empirical evidence". They look at the picture from one angle and derive all their conclusions from that. Utter tripe.

Right now, I'm pondering whether the two other poles are painted or maybe they're real.

Fuck, didn't the Ancient Greeks figure out? Like Zeus worshiping, naked Greeks? Like, it's pretty much a done proven fact.

A Discussion Thread
Recently, I've been hearing a lot about the Flat Earth community between the channels I browse on Youtube. So, I feel like NationStates should have some interesting opinions. Keep it civil, please! I'm here to hear people's opinions out.
A few questions--Do you believe the Earth is flat?
If so, what is your evidence that it is? Please provide unbiased sources.
Do you believe that NASA and the UN are trying to cover anything up?
If so, why would they?
-If not, do you feel that people who believe in a Flat Earth are unbased in their assumptions (there could never fathomably be a coverup of this magnitude, etc.)?
Is there any evidence that you feel people on the other side of the argument ignore?
Why do you think people who believe in a Flat Earth consider the idea to be credible? (What could've created a mistrust/ disconnect between them and the organizations they discredit?)

Well, I think the flat Earthers believe that Antarctica surrounds the edges, while the North Pole is the centre.
Either way, the idea of a flat Earth is dumb. The unscientific nonsense people buy into is astounding.

And have you ever tried to see the edge of the horizon? No matter how far you go, you look all around you and it's fucking flat, man.
Open you eyes, man, it's all fucking flat.
