The army uses multiple bolt action rifles as they are all bought second hand and there are to many to name. The main battle pistols are revolvers but there are multiple as well. There are a few various outdated artillery as well. The main transportation is trucks that have extra armor as well as a few makeshift gun trucks, armored pickups with machine guns mounted on the roofs. The army primarily uses indirect approach tactics as well as guerrilla warfare. The 8,000 members in active duty are very well trained in desert fighting however outside of that they are not as well trained, however they have some training in urban fighting as well. The reserve troops however are not trained at all as they are just civilians who take up arms as more of a militia. Most of the population is armed as many are still alive who fought in the war for independence or the civil wars as being able to defend themselves is very important to there culture.

The remaining 2,000 members are in the navy which is comprised of 2 admiral class battleships. These battleships were bought from the British for oil. However ammunition for these is limited.


Economic Description: The economy relies primarily on trade and oil, but there are some contributions from the mining sector as well.

Ideology: The RNA believes strongly in national conservatism that leans towards traditional conservatism.

Allegiance: Neutral.

Goals: To remain independent and grow as a country as well as increase the military and economy.

Point of Divergence: 1800

History:
1800- The six tribes of Libya and Chad come together to for the RNA. The first Republic was run by an oligarchy of the tribes. The tribes relied primarily on trade where they learned French.
1850- The heads of the original six die and the heirs disagree who should take the power. The Great Inner Tribal War starts between the 6 tribes.
1860- After years of bloody fighting the remaining 4 tribes form the North African Confederacy. The people of the Confederacy assimilate into one nation with french as the uniting language of trade.
1870- After multiple political reforms the government official transitions to a monarchy with King Georges Lebas. He puts in multiple education and medical reforms quickly after taking the throne.
1880- The military is rebuilt and rearmed with multiple reforms in the training and strategy. He also pushes for growth in mining and oil sectors.
1890- King Égide Lebas takes the thrown after his fathers death. He then buys the Countries first battleships.

1. Your generic and obviously unresearched population figure doesn't really instill confidence right off the bat.
2. I'd be interested to know if you could name those 6 tribes or if you just randomly came up with that number.
3. A Republic =/= an oligarchy of tribes. That's a tribal confederacy. They cannot be one and the same.
4. Again with the unexplained fighting. And apparently genocide? Just gonna casually annihilate two tribes.
5. Monarchies don't exactly just get established. Royal lineage has to come from somewhere with a previous history, they don't just choose some random person. And where is the Premier from, with his foreign name and unexplained past?

Well, an alliance was already announced IC between Germany, China, US, Korea, and Muzzal. There's already a planned conflict between China and the Soviet Union which would take place in Eastern Russia which is in northeast Asia.

Let's be honest, this is Nationstates and you can bet that there are players who want to create a Japanese empire and will go to war against Korea.

Which still places the other alliance at an disadvantage, and I need to keep things balanced somehow.
