They do have locks on them, but during loading and unloading a vessel is either A: Very Well-Guarded (Because maybe it's an Imperial ship and you have Stormtroopers about) or B: Guarded by the ground crew and crew of the vessel.
Since it's Mos Eisley, you definitely can't rely on the ground crew, so...go for stowing away, then.
Thanks. I decided to go with some Jawas trying to break in whenever Upsurge walks up.
I'm going to have him break away from the Republic at whatever their next destination is. I'm still aiming for the place where TY and Jinjin are (can't remember the name off the top of my head) because I really like the idea of the Empire chasing after Upsurge. I just wanted some character interaction, and I also didn't want to join the Sith since it would make sense for Upsurge to join her, as he's trying to escape her.
EDIT: I'd also be fine with editing my post to change it to something else if you have a better idea. I don't want him joining the Republic because A. He has no reason to do so, other than protection (plus he's helped killed numerous Republic officials, so that'd be awkward) and B. I don't want to recreate Finn from Force Awakens.
