I live in Singapore. They have banned almost all the good sites on the net, which might be okay for some people, but which has severely brought down my capability to adjust my pornography to my fetishes. However, it is a symbolic move. Proxies get around this, for anyone willing.

Proxies get around this - but then the state can crack down on them (by using the revenue which will come from paid porn).

I seriously doubt a crackdown on proxies. I haven't been shot in the head by the PLA for using a proxy to use youtube.

The Internet was created by the USA, and the USA has the power to shutdown the internet or to block countries or areas out of the internet. Those countries that do not comply, we could simply block. Ofcourse we do not own the infrastructure, so nobody is stopping the rest of the world to set up their own Internet, or to ignore US attempts of a block.

Yeah, here in the States, we are horrified that our kids might see a nude body (Let alone nude bodies having SEX  ). We much prefer they grow up on a diet of glorified violence. It's the only legitimate way to raise them. ;)

I started watching pornography when I could when I was 11ish. Some softcore porn on the TV at midnight I by chance came across. Since then I went on a porno binge from time to time, internet providing. But now being 22 I tend not to need to or want to for the most part. I'm more interested in praciticing skills like traditional or 3d art so I could draw naked ladies than just watch them. But I'm a creative type so maybe that explains that side of things... I've seen enough porn to be bored of most of it. Occasionally it's interesting or arousing, but it's not something I've developed a compulsion problem with. I guess it balances out, there's only so much most people can get out of something before it bores them.

I started watching porn at 10 and it did me no harm. Imo, it is better for kids to watch porn than go out having sex so I dont think there should be so much fuss about kids watching it.
Also I find it crazy how the legal age to watch porn is 2 years older than to actually do the stuff in porn!!

lolno, the EU is a group of nations, not a nation. I know many people over there, follow up on the News there, and can atest to the fact that most do not want to see a stronger EU.

lolno, India is not a superpower, most rural areas don't have running water.

lolno, for China see india. All it has going for it is it's massive population, but consider their military is shit it doesn't matter.

Russia is not a superpower, that's wishful thinking.

The U.S. still controls the economey, did you notice how when we went into the recession everyone else did. But it doesn't matter because this is OT.
