You all are in for a treat! Me posting a response to a response of Mine! I NEVER do this forum side, just look at my shriveled and insignificant post count. I believe this strategy is why I still have a full head of hair, and an impeccably clean record in NationStates ;)

OK breaking my own rule:

1) EWS, I think you are a great poster, but the Farkers were already mentioned and they came just a few months into game. A few of them are still (quietly) around. They sort of discovered the region crash technique. You are right EWS, the little ive read on before the Farkers was harshly negative by Majority.

2) Reploid Productions; I always defer to game mods when I lack data to the contrary. However, I would ask, is your data "activity" as in clicks (including refreshes) based? Because I would agree, the overwhelming amount of emails/IP's are probably unique. But clicks? I would ask for clarification on that. All raiders and fendas are click crazy on the refresh button during raids.

3) Lockdowwn; Not sure why you would expect any better from me. According to these posts I am a deplorable reprobate. Just playing the role I am cast in boyo.

4) Consularr; You are correct, I've never authored a UN resolution, I don't approve of the existence of the security council, role playing wizards and space men isn't for me. Arguing legal issues doesn't tickle me either. However, when I founded my first nations 10 years before you founded the one you are talking to me on, most of that crap was not as PERVASIVE as it is today. So, we ruined your hobbit kingdom? Your special election due to several invented scandals roughly following the house of cards storyline? I don't care what the region is we hit. Just as long as we keep hitting.

5) Kyorgia- Is correct. Don't get lazy and we don't have a shot. Have a dying region losing everything, don't blame the wolves, hawks, eagles, hydras and other assorted mascots to begin their place in nature- keeping it all tidy.

On a final note, after I believe (I MAY be wrong) "discourse" on the forums, I shall now begin IRL work. I will be unlikely to check responses but of course if you want me to see them please feel free to TG ;) I may drop in and see if I did a good job or not. Look at me, forum activity! Ave!

The age of your nation isn't really a useful measure of anything at all, alas. A mere glance at your nation's population shows it was CTE for the majority of its age anyway. Have you accomplished anything of note in all that time? Have you contributed anything of worth to NationStates and its community?

You didn't really dispute what I said at all. This game does not revolve around invading.

I've talked about this before, but R/D Gameplay, especially raiding, holds an extraordinarily disproportionate influence relative to its size over the rest of NationStates. In no other facet of NationStates can very real game mechanics be manipulated to the players' every whim. This has the potential to affect every individual nation, whether they be exclusively issue-answerers, roleplayers, generalites, F7'ers, or a member of any other sub-community, no matter if they desire to be affected or to not be affected.

I think this is what Drunken Conquerors meant, instead of addressing how many nations actively participate in R/D Gameplay as opposed to issue answering, etc.

Only if they give a fuck.

In other words, if all I care about is answering issues, forum posting, etc, what do I care about raiding, regions, or the WA as a whole? I can reach the forums and my issues inbox just as well from TRR as anywhere else.

Additionally, there *is* at least one other facet with an arguably even wider impact - every GA resolution passed affects the stats of all of the tens of thousands of WA members. Some, who only participate for the SC or regional elections, would say just as strongly that they are being affected whether they want to or not. Sure, you can argue that they can leave the way if they want; just as one can argue that any nation can go to their own locked non-exec delegate region/trr to avoid Gameplay.

Site staff has made clear that R/D is by no means monolithic in terms of revenue, activity, or anything else. That should be accepted and understood, not disbelieved.

For clarification, before Reppy justly edited my post, one of the questions Dark Soulzzz was answering on his app was:

"7) What real life city and country do you live in? (If from the USA, just give the city and state)"

Assuming they use an offsite forum an IP check would tell them which country you're in anyway. Odd that they explicitly ask though.

To publicly compromise a user's RL location? That's all this should boil down to; you're requesting very specific OOC RL data for IC purposes. In my opinion, and hopefully in the opinion of the majority, that's incredibly shady.

At the major update, the new generation of pseudo-defenders attempted to invade World Alliance and unseat the native delegate, Deanson. Fortunately for the native community, The Invaders rose to become its champions and quickly dispatched four raiders out of seven before update, enabling the delegate to continue to faithfully serve his region for at least 12 more hours. We thank the Wardens (Duxburian Union, Sylven, Altmoras, Falapatorius), SPSF (United States of Vietnam), LLA (Lake Flotillas), and FNR (Lenlyvit) for at least being open-minded and giving raiding a go.

It doesn't really matter why you ask, you simply shouldn't be asking. It violates a user's right to privacy, potentially puts them in danger, and shows a level of paranoia that is simply far beyond necessary.
