In 1997, Penang as an opposition stronghold begins fracturing from the Malaysian government, and Johore follows suit. With the government's policies on favoring a specific race being detrimental for the Federation's unity, a crackdown on corruption erupts into a scale of political mud-flinging and scandals.

There were several promises from Singapore, especially if the policies were reformed into a non-communal nation. Pressure from China to enforce a reform, and Singapore's promise to add its economy into Malaysia upon a successful reunion is tempting enough to make a return to 1965, and after a crackdown of corrupt individuals, a large sweep and purge left the Malaysian government weak and fractured, but leadership from the South and the local Sultans managed to hold the Federation together.

With more influence from Singapore's civic policies starting from the south, Malaysia's Malays began to protest, albeit a minority over the years. At 2016, there was still unrest, limited to the Thai Border where Northern Malaysian Rebels and Thai Rebels still worked to enforce a Muslim presence in the Peninsula.

Malaysia has been modernized to a level of 2005 Singapore, utilizing the massive land space and population to run a strong industry and economy. Crime has been lowered through massive crackdowns and nationwide conscription which instilled a sense of discipline in the people. Enforced compulsory education managed to increase the literacy rate.

His policies of neutrality in world affairs was maintained, and a series of events in Malaysia allowed him to force a rejoining of Singapore and Malaysia by proposing tough measures often seen as draconian. However, the measures worked, and after several tough years of reformation and civil unrest in the north, New Malaya became strong under the leadership of Lee and his cabinet which included the traditional Sultans.

The military was called in to shut down the growing rebellion, but following a shooting on unarmed protesters in the capital, the protests turned into a full-blown civil war, with around 15,000 rebels moblizing under the command of a handful of officers who defected from the military. Walther a Army Major and a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars, Her mother is Velma Van Verbeek a Nurse. She graduated from Santa Susana High School and graduated from Stanford University in 1984 with an Masters degree in Business Administration. She eventually moved to Armonk New York to work with IBM where she was the head of the advertising department. She however eventually moved to Cupertino, California where she set up THINK Computing a computer and information technology company which specialized in making high capacity and high functioning Processors and Hard Drivers which eventually branched out and becoming major figures in the general computer equipment like Monitors and Keyboards as well as VR technology. She lead the company since its inception becoming a prominent female figure in the tech industry since the early 90's and becoming a billionaire by the start of the 2010's. She however left her position as CEO and President of THINK Computing to compete in the Republican primaries. She ran on a platform that emphasized the concept of Rule of Law, Reconstruction of American Industry, Economic Nationalism, and a hard line stance on illegal immigration. While losing the first 3 contest in Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina she quickly gained momentum after some large speeches which she laid out her plan to bring back American industry to areas of outsourcing as well as setting up tariffs on these countries. Kim Han Sol is now 21 years old, and one of the youngest rulers in the world.

One paragraph history of your character: born in 1995, he was kept out of light for much of his life until the 2011 death of Kim Il sung, when he was propelled into the light of day after learning of Kim jong un's stunt with nam to disneyland tokyo. Kim Il Sung kept him close during the last months of his life, and Kim Han Sol used this time to build up a power base loyal to him in order for the passage of power and his grip on authority to be absolute. he has recently determined to be a stricter ruler than his father or grandfather, forcing a general who was caught burping at a meeting to be stripped to his underwear, coated in cooking oil and burned alive with a flame thrower.
