In Moscow the night was light up with explosions and gunfire. Terror lived for a day in the heart of the Russian Federation. In the aftermath of the attacks nearly 500 people were dead. Fear spread through the nation as other smaller attacks rippled across St. Petersburg, Volgograd, Murmansk, Archangel and other major cities.

As the investigation commenced it was at first believed that the attacks were related to Czechian terrorists. But that was far from the truth. Political dissidents within the nation were to blame. As a result the government gave Vladimir Putin emergency powers. Political parties were disbanded and for the most part the Parlement was striped of power.

Since than Putin has spent most of his time improving Russia internally. Putin dreams of Russia attaining the glory of the older past of Russia.
One paragraph policy outline: Keep relations with the US at least lukewarm if not warm, remove ISIl in the middle east, improve the Russian economy and infrastructure. For the most part Russia is heading more and more to the right as the populace gets more and more conservative.

Walter Hanlon eventually won the late-2006 Federal election, and is currently the longest running Prime Minister in Canadian History. With policies of both increased military funding, social programs, and the intent to peacefully annex Greenland he's one of the more average in terms of public opinion.

One paragraph history of your character: Walter Hanlon was born in the Central Caribou of British Columbia in the mid 1960s. Early in life he had prospects of forging a powerful Canada, with the recent patriation he went on to study at McGill University and gained a degree in socioeconomics, before becoming involved in the political scene. It was here he eventually rose to Conservative leader, and eventually Prime Minister. His policies mostly revolved around social programs and an increase in military spending. Of which lead to the acquisition of licenses from both Dassault Aviation SA and Krauss-Maffei Wegmann GmbH & Co. KG for their Rafale and Leopard 2A6 lines respectively, as well as better benefits for soldiers leading to an increase in enlistment for all branches.

In mid 2007 Walter also began talks with Greenland and Danish Governments for the peaceful annexation of Greenland. An endeavour that no one would expect to go anywhere. But surprisingly the referendum posted by the Greenlandic government pointed towards a public approval of merging. And preperations have been made for the past five years for the eventual merge.

One paragraph history of your country, faction, or unit: In 2014, Karim Wasem was elected president and in a rare moment a women was elected prime minster. This cause several protests which had to be put down. After the protests were done, Karim started to work to stabilizing the country and reducing the corruption in the government. So far the government is proving to be
becoming stable and surprisingly progressive. Though issues still plagued the new government liked terror attacks in the Sinai Peninsula from still disgruntle Bedouin living in poverty.

One paragraph policy outline: Since the the Free Egyptians Party won the election. The govement has become more liberal and secular but, has some Egyptian nationalism in the govement due to the Arab Spring. Liberal policies are being slowly added in order to lessen the negative response from them and are working to improve the situration thoughout the country.

At age 23 he joined the People's Liberation Army and retired at age 34. At age 41 he ran for president and was elected.

Upon winning the 2013 election, Matteo Renzi assumed control of Italy and immediately implimented changes to international policy. All forces were withdrawn from Afghanistan and other areas in which Italy partook in international intervention(saving around 30 billion in USD from '13-'16) against the will of NATO. VAT tax was increased by .5% for '14 and in 15 was raised by another .5%, tax of capital gains was raised to .10%, tax on church income was established and lies at 5%. The military reasigned 100,000 Carabanieri to the rerserves, and reduced the military's budget by 10 billion. Italy now sits are around .30%(gdp) surplus. Reforms in the senate weakened evey party and forced the many parties of Italy to forms coalitions, the left holds a lead with around 60% of senate seats. The legal system of italy was remodeled to increase efficency. Same-sex marriage was made legal and the constitution of Italy was reformed, revoking the priveliges of the church.

The social and economic policy of Italy were heavily reformed through the combined power of the president, Prime Minister, and the coalition of the left. The private arm of healthcare were absorbed by the public equivalent to lower costs and increase revenues for the national health service. After two years of campaiging all narcotics were decriminalized and nationalized, perscriptions can be requested and are administered in a safe enviroment treatment plans are included to reduce usage and prevent the harmful effects of addiciton. The anti-corruption program created by Renzi has routed out large portions of organized crime and the power of organized crime wanes as their revenue declines, the program has been used to purge several regional governments due to found collusion, Democratic leaders were apointed until the next election.

Italy has detached itself from NATO and the EU, ignoring the policies adopted by both unions and prefering to operate according to its needs. The withdrawl of Italian forces from the Middle East has put Italy at odds with the USA and the UK. But Italy's protectionist policies have stabalized its economy, and the leadership of the EU have grown leanient a much needed change in South Europe was made but it undermined the EU so public recognition of Renzi's success could not be made.

Renzi's coalition of the Democratic Party, an asortment of other left policies, and the Five Star Movement has been pushing for a Italo-centric foreign policy with the goal of reviving the stability of South Europe and North Africa, and a domesitc policy focussed on developing Italy and increasing the standard of living. Rooting out corruption within the Italy and targetting organized crime are top priority. The current goal of Italy is to establish a healthy surplus, reduce debt, and increase italy's economic influence in the Mediterranean.
