Pepperidge Farm remembers....

Our country is facing austerity and constant cuts to public services. But can't let a multi-billion pound football club pay for their own bloody stadium, that's something for taxpayers to bear.

I know what I see. I call it as I see it. She has to be one of the singlemost odious and abhorrent posters that's ever existed. I have zero regrets. Allahu ackbar, it was worth it.
Valaran wrote:I presume the thread is in this state because there is relatively little to discuss? (and also because of other reasons). Its not like British politics has actually had much happening recently, espcially not since May's de facto rejection of the grid system. So we either get tired Brexit debates or whatever the fuck this is.
Lord Kerr said he had never imagined the UK would make use of Article 50.
He explained: "I thought the circumstances in which it would be used, if ever, would be when there was a coup in a member state and the EU suspended that country's membership.
"I thought that at that point the dictator in question might be so cross that he'd say 'right, I'm off' and it would be good to have a procedure under which he could leave."

You seem pretty new to the British Politics Thread.Freefall11111 wrote:Hopefully it stays that way. Maybe we can just coast on the status quo until everyone forgets about the past decade.
Well, Brexit aside, there is much for the government to be doing. Me no like this status quo, because instead of improvement, we mostly just get mismanagement and statements so vague the words are literally transparent. Also, that shitstorm in the media concerning migrants, Brexit and patriotism, just perpetually brewing itself like a good storm of clusterfuckery.
On a side note, this might just be me, but I was ok with a good chunk of the past decade.

Restart an Empire, probably.
I'm not very moral.

In that case, I might stress that there are reasons why certain posters' tempers have frayed. I myself would probably be in the same situation, but I've tended to stick away from this thread recently for that very reason. Naturally this doesn't excuse their actions, but I very much sympathise with why they are angry.
Also, 'Art' is very polite way of putting it

I'd try and fix our economy and get the ball rolling on a culture that can dominate the globe through science and such. If we got to be 3rd or 4th most rich i'd give a speech wearing a robe and channel palpatine about how the united kingdom will be reorganized into the third british empire!!!! alongside announcing mars colonization goals.

I'd be careful- people do talk.
Sorry you feel that way and sorry that you're the living and breathing personification of poor debate practice.
But you are young, a youngling bitch who condescends and delivers underhanded remarks to others. Why not cry me a river about how your entitled feelings matter but not that of others? I could do with a swim and some salt for my fucking fish and chips.
South Park Labourite wrote:Lamadia 2016 wrote:Again, left-wingers living in a bubble, talking about people who work hard as greedy & as unscrupulous, whilst demanding everybody be given their 'entitlements'.
Try working in business.
Little girl, you still have a lot to learn about the real world. Most in the real world don't get a private school education or have an entitled lifestyle. Also please go tell your parents to pay for you to go to finishing school, you're one of the single most impolite NSGers on this thread and have such a massive unawareness of basic etiquette between people in social interactions.
South Park Labourite wrote:Lamadia 2016 wrote:Oh, of course.

Stop being a bitch.
South Park Labourite wrote:Lamadia 2016 wrote:You keep calling me a schoolgirl, too, which is creepy.
What I'm saying is, and what you are failing to grasp, is that the way you are talking to me seems quite unusual, and unless you want people to talk, you should stop. Adult talking to a 'kid' on the internet, calling her a 'schoolgirl' and a 'bitch'- a bit odd to be doing at nearly midnight?
Are you for real?
Squirt, I mean if you're too unintelligent and slow to understand what I'm saying and genuinely fear for yourself, you have an option to log out.
Don't dish crap out and expect to have some cards to defend yourself you can wield at your pleasure and don't try twist this into something this isn't.

Now stop arguing.
