So, guys, to get some life thrumming through this group again, I've been thinking of starting a nice, casual, simple war RP while I continue to ruminate on Novaluna's considerably complexity behind the scenes. No onerous preparation or rigid organization, just some good old-fashioned blow-shit-up fun. I plan for it to be high-PMT, perhaps staged within the Alt-Vistoraverse, but with nations outside the canon more than welcome to join in.
How does that sound?

I'd like that. Though, what kind of scale would we be talking? (Inter)Planetary, continental, regional (like most war RPs) or within a single city/area? This is useful for me to know, since I'd then know what to deploy.

Hmm. Probably somewhere between regional and continental. I want a good enough excuse to bring in the big guns. Since it's Alt-Vistoraverse, I can just bullshit some reason, like fighting over a large deposit POWAH CRYSTALS or something. Or not.

Perhaps Trotskaya's Eighth VDV Regiment could be dispatched, along with its cadre of heavy mechwalkers and assault aircraft, to acquire the crystals for the Mechanocracy. Which will invariably lead to some Legolas and Gimli-style competition between her and Ippolyta the Manreaper for kills.

I suppose Trotskaya, being who she is, counts as "the big guns" alone, but I recommend bringing some heavy firepower. I'll probably be representing the Hadron Corps in this RP, and I'm bringing in at least a few of their larger Battlestations.

Oooh, now I'm tempted to bring in Trotskaya's daughter and her battlegroup, but I'm inclined to believe that could be pushing it a bit in terms of tech-level. The MSS Arkhont, after all, is essentially a Mecharussian copy of the Imperium of Sidhae's Dies Irae-class superdreadnought (complete with stupid-laser for asploding continents in a single shot).
Perhaps a single Badanov-class battleship, surrounded by a small group of Berijev cruisers for orbital bombardment purposes, instead of the Arkhont. Both the Badanov and the Berijev (barely) conform to high-PMT, at least in the Altcanon (the first of them fighting in the last battles of WWIV).

Vistora here. Yeah, somewhat along those lines, but this planned RP is mostly intended to a no-strings-attached festival of carnage.

Zee problem is that the festival of carnage takes place in an already established canon ja? Makes it a little difficult for those of us outside the canon to reasonably participate.

Governmental System: Stratocracy
Economical System: Third Position, Dirigisme.
National Ideology (if any): Officially none.
Political Climate: Stable.
Important Individuals: The Chancellor and the Colonial Governors.
Capital/Seat of Power: The Berlin Megapolis.Setting Description
Briefly describe nation's setting and tech level: A post-apocalyptic world that is just starting to recover from nuclear war, with numerous organisations vying for control over the Solar System. As of now, the Empire is one of the most powerful groups, having access to the highly advanced technology of its predecessors. Technological level would certainly be high-PMT, what with the hover tanks, space warships and muon-catalysed fusion.
Does your nation utilize any elements/materials not known to exist? If so, briefly describe them: Although some non-existent things do exist (i.e: Gravity engines), there aren't any fictional materials, although that might change as I continue to develop the canon.
Are there any supernatural or fantasy elements? If so, briefly describe them: Psionics are a thing, albeit extremely rareand typically not very powerful.
Has your nation visited, explored, or established livable areas on any extraterrestrial planets/moons? If so, briefly describe them: Colonies have been established on both the Moon and Mars, and mining outposts have been established in the Asteroid belt and on the Jovian Moons. There's also a military space station floating around near Saturn.
Are there any non-human sentient species within your nation? If so, briefly describe them: Sapient AI exist, although they aren't exactly part of the citizenry.Official Stuff
Do you agree to abide by the rules and regulations established by the Razor's Edge Cooperative Council? Yes.
To what extent will you be able to contribute to roleplay and discussion in this group? It depends on my schedule, but I should be able to write reasonable RP posts on a weekly basis.
Are you a part of any other NS groups? Not with this nation, no.
Do you have any puppets of relevance/is this nation a puppet? The same person is behind The Socialist Global Union (But I have a feeling that this nation might end up becoming my new main).
Do you have any questions regarding this group or its members? Nope.
Do you have any extra information I need to know about you or your nation? I don't think so, but if ou have any questions, feel free to ask.

Outside nations are more than allowed to participate, since the festival of carnage itself isn't canon.
