A young dark-skinned woman opened the door. She was fairly tall and had long, thick obsidian hair that reached her knees. Upon seeing Quetz, she seemed hypnotically frozen in place, as if this wasn't real at all.
The two just stared at each other for a good while until he started to talk.
"C-Coa-"
"This is just a dream isn't it? You wouldn't come back, idiot." her expression turned from shock to disdain.
"I'm sorry I left, I really am-"
"Sorry, I've got no more room for you." she turned around and closed the door.
Wuffer sighed "What do you want?"
Jay blinked, "Well..." he cleared his throat "That could've gone a lot worse!" he tried to be upbeat, but ended up nervously laughing. "Erm...why don't you hang out with Larissa and let me give it a shot?"
"We just wanted to know where you went..."
"..Y-Y-yeah...alright..." he cracked a smile, though it was obvious there were water droplets at the corners of his eyes.
