Attention

Here to announce that, for the span of the foreseeable future, I will be taking a break from the NationStates forums. I do not know when, or even if, I will return, but I would nevertheless like to thank everybody here for making this experience so unique and powerful. You have all proven to be marvelous friends and comrades-in-arms. I'm sorry that this comes without warning, but the current situation of my life both on and off site suggests that I should take my leave, at least for the time being. If any of you wish to use the REC as a platform for future projects and ventures, I give you my blessing and wish you luck.

If you absolutely need to contact me, just drop a TG, as I'll still be answering my NS issues on a regular basis. However, this is where I say goodbye for now.

This has been a fantastic journey, and I thank you all for making it possible.

Setting Description

Briefly describe nation's setting and tech level: Democratic Lamphun is set in early 2079 with a less nationalist and genocidal "Khmer Rouge" regime. Democratic Lamphun has some PMT tech, like military vehicles, and some mechs, but when regarding the PMT element, it's a major technological backwater.

If so, briefly describe them: Some years ago Democratic Lamphun made an attempt to colonize and terraform Callisto, but it all ended in disater. Today, they have a small military base and a spacecraft squadron there
Are there any non-human sentient species within your nation? If so, briefly describe them: There are some mutants running around in the sewers, and those mutants where byproducts of toxic waste and heavy metals.

I know this thread is abandoned and drifting, but for anyone who hasn't seen it, I'm creating a new PMT setting for Nayba Collective with some other people, called Eisen. It's based on a collapse after a war of crazy posthuman AIs, so there's a lot of flexibility.

I mean, the entire project's been in cryostasis for the duration of my absence. I'm just hoping I can resuscitate it. With the way I intend to conduct the span of its occurence, I believe there will be ample room for people to join and contribute without having to commit to anything requiring a lot of attention, like an actual RP.
