DRS PROPOSAL: South American Sovereignty Act

Acknowledging that South America has been the target of imperialism since the dawn of discovery, and concerning this has continued in the modern era.

Noting that there is no current legislative act preventing the unlawful annexation of another nation in South America.

Recognizing the success of DRS Resolution 25: the 'Akksum Act', previously passed by this Senate to prevent the spread of foreign imperialism in Africa.

Concerned by the assimilation of cultural individuality and loss of national sovereignty which can occur during imperialistic-motivated annexations.

Seeking to defend threats against the sovereignty of South American nations, which should be the right of every country.

Hereby:
- Declares that 'military aggressors' are forbidden from annexing entire sovereign nations in South America for imperialistic purposes unless authorized by this Senate.
- Distinguishes an imperialistic annexation (by which a nation is officially incorporated into another or colonized without the majority support of both nation's people) from a peaceful unification (by which a nation is officially incorporated into another, ceded, or colonized with the majority support of both nation's people), and from a military occupation (by which a nation is temporarily occupied by the military forces of another).

DRS Proposal: Os Revolutionarios Settlement

Noting that tensions have risen at alarming rates between Orostan and EotUK, Persia and Zakaroth, and much of the world.

Recognizing that the world's string of alliances will inevitably turn this into a colossal and destructive global conflict.

Aware the purpose of the DRS is to spread peace throughout the world. Proposes this settlement to ease tensions.

1. The Orostani Government will launch a full scale investigation into the hacker organization Os Revolutionarios and arrest call members involved in the Akksum hacking responsible for 400 deaths, and charge them accordingly. As well as pay 250,000 USD the Akksum government.
2. Persia will withdraw all newly deployed troops from the Indian and Zakaroth borders. Britain and Zakaroth will do the same.
3. All powers will agree to not to violently pursue to the situation any longer.
