A creature floated within the extremely hot waters of the ship, it could not survive otherwise. It neared the humani planet and held a lever down. It clicked several buttons, then began to click into a tiny black box. The small box quickly translated the language into many tongues of the humani:
Hello. Iam of the Thermus Archaeus. I am coming to attend this Humani ball. I will require instructions for dockingf procedures.

END TRANSMISSION

Why must I get stuck with the research jobs, studying the Humani?

OOC: Got it.

IC:
The female Thermus Archaeus, elequontly walked, in her beautifully white suit. The suit kept her alive, while she was in a dry, and cold enviroment. She was in a lavish area, that was for sure... She wasn't exactly sure where to go, but she continued on, basically wandering, looking for a crowd... Or anything, really...

"Early is not in my vocabulary. There is only on-time or late. Yes, let us go to this specialized area." She said, her suit translating her clicks into the Humani's language, which it had already scanned and picked up. Her shining "eye" moving around, ssearching the place. She flexed her hand, and looked at the Humani.

So primitive... Food... She didn't even look at the menu, she said, in a mettallic voice "Our people do not eat foods." But, the Humani was already leaving... She was greeted by man. She firmly shook his hand, using the enhanced strength of the suit. "I would give you my name... But it is not pronouncable to your species."

OOC:
Explanation: They do not need food, as they are a chemo-synthetic-like race. They absorb their needed nutrients through the minerals in their 300 Degree waters.

"I do not mind you taking a seat at all, Humani." The female said, dissmissively. "You may call me Tharmae, as that is a traditional name, for all our people, so the humans can address us." She said, simply. Her suit hissed, as a white gas came out of several small pipe-like holes... She didn't even notice it.

Grant sat in his room, quietly preparing a cup of tea for Scarlet, Earl Grey to be more precise. He had decided against wearing against the blue suit had purchased three days ago in favour of his military uniform. It was crisp and pressed, a white shirt underneath, with golden decorations covering it, with a scarlet and blue jacket over it. His pants were white and blue, in sharp contrast to his well cleaned and well kept military boots, or his spectacles in similar collection. Under all this he had a thin ceremonial breastplate on, which could be seen by his neck as the chain mail extended slightly up his neck, not by pure coincidence, as the marks on his neck had finally started to fade. His scabbard was by his side, a well made saber sheathed in it but it was still unattended. One of his hands was pouring tea, and the other was gripping his staff.

His smile however, was not yet to be seen, as he seemed to be bracing for a bomb, complete with a subtle ticking noise in the background. Said ticking could be traced to a small timer that seemed to only have a few hours left on it. Scarlet had set to scare the living new world out of the boy. She said that she would, 'Collect his debts after the ball, marked by this timer.' Frankly that scared the living new world out of him. Despite his age he looked only about nine years old, and Scarlet towered over him.

Scarlet on the other hand was indeed wearing something from the shop, a striking white dress with absolutely no show of rank or title. She was lazily flipping through the king's spell book seeing if their was anything on Dark Magic. Unfortunately the book was from an era before the printing press, far before, and as such most print was controlled by the church. This book had nothing on any act considered unholy, as monks had written it. Finally shutting the book in frustration, she turned to Grant. "Grant how long until the ball? I'm board... And when is that tea going to be ready?"

Grant turned, his smile returning. "Just a moment, I take it sugar with no milk?"

"Yes, indeed." Grant sutured the tea for a moment after adding a spoonful of sugar and giving it a few moments to cool. "Here we ar-AAAHHHHH!!" He dropped the cup and saucer to the floor and took cover as Scarlet had manually set off the clock. She had taken to doing that in an attempt to scare him. Not to say it didn't work, in fact it worked brilliantly as he jumped to the floor and hid under the table. Scarlet laughed loudly as the boy stood up and brushed himself off.

"Ah Grant... You're too easy." She watched as the king quickly cleaned up the tea and picked up the cup and plate, before pouring another cup, grumbling quietly and handing it to Scarlet.

"We have to go in about five minutes so help me will you? Its your fault I spilled it after all."

"Not my fault your a cry baby...." She sighed as Grant complained quietly while he finished cleaning the tea. She helped him up and they walked to the ballroom, slowly stepping down the staircase and waiting to be greeted.

"I wonder what this will be like..." The king thought aloud as Scarlet simply smirked. All she could say for certain, is that it would be interesting.

"I don't like the looks of this," Grand Duchess Eva von Wolfenstein muttered as she stepped off the starship, peering at the guards around them. She did not enjoy being 'escorted' by foreigners lightyears away from her homeland, there wasn't much she could do. Furthermore, the emperor would not allow her to use Imperal starships, capable of warping via magical technology, lest they be called up in an event of war. They were supposed to be a state secret, possessing technology millenia ahead of their rivals, and Emperor Wolfenstein intended to keep it that way...

"Relax, Your Excellency," bellowed the flamboyant Stellar Aeronard, waving her golden hair, as she was dressed in an intricate aristocratic dress, reminiscent of the French nobility, "you're an adept mage! You can fight those punks off! And besides, If anything happens, we have Fuchsin to back us up, right, Your Highness?"

"Yea!" cried the juvenile fox-girl in bubbly joy, "Fuchsin can keep everyone safe! If anything happens to Fuchsin and her friends, Fuchsin could always call Master for help, right, Auntie!?"

"Ehehehe... It's Sister, Your Highness," Stellar reiterated, trying to hold up a smile after that unintentional shot at her ageing ego.

Eva frowned at the last comment. If there is one thing she hated more than the Amythysians, was Fuchsin. To her, the girl had no sense of remorse or mercy when enacting her iron-fisted rule on the Fatherland's people. If there was anything that could break the people's loyalty and support for the monarchy, it would be her. And Eva was not particularly thrilled at being saved by one of her lackey's own advanced arsenal of battleships.

"Let's just keep misbehaviour to a minimum, shall we," Eva interjected, "that means you, Midorikage..."

Midori Katsuga turned to the Grand Duchess unamused. The last thing she needed was for Eva to snap like the emperor. God knows how she could take Eva as Empress. "Relax," Midori replied lazily, "Midorikage won't be making an appearance here, unless evil is afoot, she's won't be coming."

"Yeaaah," Eva responded sarcastically, "I'd like to see her warp 27,837 lightyears to this very spot as well..." It does not take much for anyone to recognize the young girl as the brilliant wannabe-superheroine, Midorikage. For someone who never bothered to put a mask on when doing 'superhero' work, its not hard to tell.

"So, what's the agenda," Stellar asked Eva in childish curiosity. Eva simply shook her head in dismay and said, "god knows. Brother just told me to come here and 'socialize' with the locals. i'm guessing he wants to upgrade our space technology."

"Or maybe a gesture of goodwill," Fuchsin enthusiastically interrupted, "we should make up for what happened the last time-"

"More like the opposite, princess," Eva shot back in a low tone. As she turned back to the entrance of the starship, she called out to the person inside, dressed up for the occasion as well.

"Idunn, hurry up! You don't want to be left behind, do you!?"

Behind the doors of the ballroom, a slight whirring could be heard. It seemed to grow more and more profund until, the doors were opened wide revealing a single dalek. It hovered into the room, it's eyestalk looking around the room at the others.

"Hello. I am Dalek Sec. Supreme Emperor of all Daleks." Said Sec in his shrieking voice. His voice sounded as if it was filled with pure hatred and rage. Not because it was, but because that was the only thing a dalek's voice sounded like. Sec was however, happy to see non-daleks. It had been quite some time since he'd been off of Skaro.

OOC: I'll probably be posting on my other account: Almighty Daleks, later.

Idunn stood inside the shuttle with her eyes closed and rubbing her temples. She had changed much since her being sold to Eva, she used to be a slave of Sol-Kar, so long ago. THis was the first time she was actually entering the empire a free woman, and this was mainly to confront her fears, so maybe she wouldnt wake up in the night with so many nightmares. She heard Eva call her from outside and breathed in deeply, and then out.

"its ok Idunn..." she whispered to herself, "you can do this..." the ship ride was stressful enough, with Imperials everywhere, and now she was going onto their world...she stepped outside to see a man in black saluting and she very nearly ran back into the ship, but she took a deep breath, and strode forward. She had certainly changed much from the girl who would break down and cry at nearly anything.

"Right then," Stellar said to the man in glee, taking the man's hand, "come on then. The ball awaits!"

As Idunn joined back with the group, Eva asked concernedly, "you OK there? You didn't have to come if you don't want to, you know..."

"Must feel odd," Fuchsin commented in a whisper, "coming back to your place of origin as a citizen of another nation. Wonder how they will react?"

"Keep your comments to yourself, princess," Eva interjected in annoyance, "no one here wants to hear that loyalty crap again." She then turned back to the man and said, "lead the way, Sir."

Grant didnt budge under the man's cold stare, standing his ground. Trajentius was nothing compaired to what he had faced recently. Not a spec of pathetic dirt to the boy. He feigned a smile and replied, "Certainly, may I ask why?" Scarlet chucked slightly at the kings bravery, he was toughening up. Good thing too, as he would not last very long in the world as a king if he could get shell shock from a falling pin.

"I hail from a planet, far, far away from here." Tharmae ingormed the man. The gasses emenating from the machine was not steam, but the exess gasses, that she did not need to breathe. It was better to put those into he enviroment, than to store them in tanks. She, of course, vould hold them in tanks, if she needed to...

Idunn, at fuschins comment, shut her eyes tight, and breathed in heavily, but then breathed out and opened them again, telling herself in her mind she was alright...that she couldnt be hurt. She was very close behind eva, nearly at her heels, and diddnt look like she wanted to leaver her side.

Stellar looked on at the soldier awkwardly. She had no idea what she did to offend him, but Midori dropped a hint on what might have gone wrong.

"Does it look like he wanted to shake your hand?" Midori whispered to Stellar, pointing out the fact that he raised his hand a tad too high to be a handshake. Stellar, realizing her folly, just made a quick chuckle and replied, "oops, my bad... Let's go shall we?"

Eva felt uncomfortable having Idunn breathe down her neck, but then again, the poor girl was in hostile territory. She knew one wrong move could spell disaster for her. She would have to stay close to her.

"Don't mind them," she told the girl, "we're with you. Remember, you're a Wolfen citizen and a dignitary now, not their slave girl. They have no power over us."

A Lantean gateship drew up and parked in the planet's orbital docking station.

*****

Two men and a woman, dressed in perfectly immaculate, identical, beige uniforms stepped into the room. As they appeared absolutely human, they didn't draw the same degree of notice as did their companion.

Their "companion" was obviously female in form, but it possessed blueish skin, gill slits on either side of its nose, long red-violet hair, and yellow cat eyes. The creature stopped upon entering the room, and darted its eyes from side to side, taking in the rooms occupants. One of the human-form males jabbed her sharply in the small of her back to force her forward. The creature snarled, revealing a set of fanged teeth, but she moved into the ball room slowly.

One of the men and the woman kept on either side of the creature, holding loosely on each of her arms. The last man introduced the group to a human who seemed to be controlling the inflow of guests.

"We are the Replicators. I am Ninety-Seventh, and I have with me One Hundred Twenty-Fifth, Eighty-Fourth, and a Wraith Queen."

He looked around at the other guests.

"I hope we are not late? We tried to arrive on time."

Image
The Wraith Queen. The others are actually rather attractive pseudo-humans. The Wraith is their prisoner that the Replicators kind of want to show off.

FACTBOOK
Replicators are machines with 3 prime directives- replicate, defend each other, and obtain more powerful technology. They increase expotentially. There are two ways Replicators can be built: blocks and nanites. Blocks are 1-inch pieces that work as computers, and nanites are microscopic versions. Block Replicators replicate by spraying a corrosive onto the desired metal, and working it into either shape. Nanite Replicators form units at a molecular level. Both kinds can absorb high amounts of energy from the environment.

"Hello there, I am Scarlet Donahue, Queen of Grandtaria. It is good to meet you miss, may I ask your name?" She seemed to be on her best behaviour for the roman's sake. It was odd but she seemed more collected then she usually was, if it was truly possible.
