"It isn't our sacred obligation to accept anyone who is in the Commonwealth illegally. Thet don't have an automatic right to be here: after all, they are 'illegal'. It's not the moral issue that it's been made to look like, the issue is that the demographics of this country are being deliberately manipulated. Now, I'm sorry if that isn't a correct thing to say, but I've always believed it needs to be said."

Who has the best food in South East Asia? Us, by far. The snooty Singaporeans and loose Thais simply cannot compete with the multicultural and authentically local blends that we provide.

I'm kidding! But I daresay that multiculturalism does give the benefit for more revenue and a wider array of choice for one's palate.

"BenthoMar and it's contracting of tons of cheap Mexican labor to work with basalt that the Palmerans mold and process into fibers has risen eyebrows. And the marked negotiations to get more Mexican oil to fuel BenthoMar heavy machinery which is in itself used to work in shoreline methane. In the tablet-house, the monitor said to me: "Why are you late?" I was afraid, my heart beat fast.
I entered before my teacher, took my place.
My school-father read my tablet to me,
He said "The T is cut off," caned me.
Who was in charge of drawing said "Why when I was not here did you stand up?" caned me.
Who was in charge of the gate said "Why when I was not here did you go out?" caned me.

Nusaresa has a surprisingly large industry catering to retiree expats, almost comparable to that of our neighbor Thailand. Probably the stable regime and general peace and quiet attracts those who really want to live a calm life. And they're not that wrong in all honesty, life in Nusaresa is all about going with the flow.

That isn't to say that we're lazy though. Diligence is a virtue, and this has been molded into the national identity of work hard, play hard and live long. Work hard and reap those benefits!

"The out-of-place gender roles and practical rearrangement are blamed on mainly due to the food shortage and anarchic years between 1809 and 1834, and then the reconstruction in the 1840s to the 1860s. The middle classes retained more of a traditional Hispanic family, and much more so could be said of the higher classes. Some compared it to a return to barbarity though these anachronisms are just out-of-place comparisons. If it's true that plantation life generally left older women as nannies and home carers, the warring years made them gradually more powerful administrators of the family. Younger women frequently did mens' jobs during the peak of the crisis years which actually saw mass conscription even when before there were known instances of them being quartermasters and town-based defenders. In urban centers, heavier workshop toil also had to be adopted, only adding more weight.

All this with the alarming death rate at the time resulted was the oldest women rearing the house and educating kids, and maybe arranging marriages or suggesting husbands, nothing new- but with the added factor that children and grandchildren turned into literal human resources and that property rights equalized a lot of things. The patrilineal line however continued, albeit publicly, as men turned into fronts for their mothers and wives to bear more children, and while at first promiscuousity was favored to accept more children, eventually family feuds over children reasoned that stricter monogamy and even more imposing mothers were solutions, and most radically, an equal weight in preserving 'honor' through bloodshed; so the 'Macho' thing is more than often a facade even if bread-winning is not."

If there is one thing that Nusaresa didn't fuck up on, it's the dedication to improving the national quality of life and maintaining it's reputation as the most livable Islamic country for westerners.

Although the main reason people from the west flock here in droves is probably due to the low taxes and more 'liberal' lifestyle that can be attained in contrast to say... the Emirates or Qatar.

"The majority parties of Emperyo now simply favour Francisco's politics-- that of centre-right free market politics. The Left, which had produced the image that liberalism and progressivism will be the future of Emperyo, has fallen to the belief of realpolitik. President Michael Lawrence Lee stated that Emperyo will be the Singapore of the Free Union-- it is now, politically and economically, ruled with a party that has almost completely dominated the political systems, with the Free Market ruling the economics of our Commonwealth."
