Talchyon wrote:Name: Shawn Glitzky
Codename: Glitch
Age: early 20's
Sex: male
Appearance: Slightly taller than average and gangly.
Bio: (still workin' on it).
Powers:
Function Impairment - See description here: http://powerlisting.wikia.com/wiki/Function_Impairment. The only difference with Glitch is that it almost always happens (except when it messes up with the plot), and he can't control it. So to summarize: doesn't matter if it's electronic (a computer), wooden (a door), cloth (shoelaces), or metal (a fireman's pole) - Glitch's ability makes it not work the way that it's supposed to. Basically lasts as long as it's funny.
Stupidity Inducement - See description here: http://powerlisting.wikia.com/wiki/Stupidity_Inducement. This one is something Glitch has to will, in order to work. The effects of stupidity and the levels that IQ can drop are TBD, but always temporary. When Glitch stops willing it, the person "bungee-rebounds" to a heightened intellect for a few moments (a short post or two), before returning to normal.
(Things in parentheses are OOC. The rest of this is IC. A form for your character to answer.)
Describe your abilities: Dude. I can make things suck. Like not work right. We're talking anything - from your friend's Chevy that he lets you drive that suddenly goes all idle, to the glass you pour water into that now sprung a leak the size of the bottom in it. And, I can make people dumb. So that super-genius-billionaire who dresses up in robot armor? He better watch out, 'cause I'm gonna "take him down."
Why did you become a superhero: It's hard to believe that I didn't do good in school, what with my word processor going haywire the night before my assignments were due, to my pencils unable to write when taking tests. I guess school wasn't for me. Other jobs don't seem to be my thing, either. I'm not the ideal job candidate because I make the McDonald's fry oil not bubble or the lawnmower decides to reattach grass that someone else already cut. Being a superhero seemed like the best thing for me.
What are your goals for the future: I'm going to show that I am the greatest superhero that ever lived, and ever will live. I will "take people down."
(Why is this character with the Minnesota Infinites. In other words, why do they kind of suck?): Glitch would be great if he could control his ability to impair functions. But since it's on without him being able to control it, it really messes up with anyone trying to send electronic communications and the Infinites' database.
How would you describe your talents?: Awesome! Better than every other superhero combined! And then more.
(What about your character's talents make them a D-lister?) Glitch has very few talents, since almost anything he tries malfunctions. He has picked up a lot of Spanish, however, and can speak Spanish decently in a pinch.
What are your strengths?: Dude! Everything about me is a strength!
What are your weaknesses?: People don't understand me. I think they're jealous. They wish they could be me. I don't know why the comic book people haven't come knocking on my door yet...
(Any other flaws? Maladjusted personality? Social issues? Unmarketable aspects?): No, I think this is good for now.
Why should you if given the opportunity be allowed to advance in the Infinites?: They need me. I can take down any super bad guy that comes along. They may not know it yet, but they will.
Why does the press hate or ignore you?: I don't take pictures well. For whatever reason, interviews don't go well either. Cameras seem to jam and laptops freeze and show the black screen of death. I think that it's just a matter of time, however.

Codename: Face Smasher
Age: Unknown, can't count
Sex: Female
Appearance: You know the Minotaur of Greek myth? Like that with tits.
Bio: Face Smasher never knew her parents as she was abandoned at birth. She was left in front of a nunnery, and they reluctantly raised her. At least for a while. They tried to be kind and uphold God's love of everyone, but she was simply too different, too wierd. They never even gave her a proper name and mostly just called her various cruel names they passed off as being affectionate. Face Smasher wasn't buying it, though. She may be dummer than a sack of moldy potatoes, but she has a keenly insightful mind.
When Face Smasher was old enough to take care of herself, she left the nunnery in secret. She's terrible at stealth, but the nuns pretended not to see her leave. She spent many years living on her own in the wild, hunting for survival. It was enjoyable for a time, but she's not so simple-minded that it could keep her satisfied forever. Thus, she attempted to join the Infinites and become a great hero. They sent her to Minnesota. She's excited about this amazing opportunity.
Powers: Super strength, super durability, super senses (sight, smell), super goring horns, super stupidity
(Things in parentheses are OOC. The rest of this is IC. A form for your character to answer.)
As Face Smasher cannot read or write, this form has been written by dictate.
Describe your abilities: Smashing the bad guys!
Why did you become a superhero: To smash the bad guys!
What are your goals for the future: Become a great hero and smash the bad guys!
(Why is this character with the Minnesota Infinites. In other words, why do they kind of suck?): Because she's a moron, and no one else wants to deal with the embarrassment of association with her.
How would you describe your talents?: Smashing the bad guys!
(What about your character's talents make them a D-lister?) I believe that was covered with the intelligence? Though her powers are kind of boring, too.
What are your strengths?: Strength.
What are your weaknesses?: Finding clothes that fit.
(Any other flaws? Maladjusted personality? Social issues? Unmarketable aspects?): She's also quite remarkably ugly, and that's apparently important because of her female parts.
Why should you if given the opportunity be allowed to advance in the Infinites?: Me good at smashing the bad guys and would be even gooder at smashing the badder guys.
(Why does the press hate or ignore you?): That should be self evident.

Age: Uhh..u-ugh that one definitely hurt. I’m t-twenty two.
Sex: Three times a day. Just kidding, I’m a dude!
Appearance:(Image)
Bio: You see, I was raised deep within this confined laboratory, never allowed to see the world outside my metal prison. I spent year after year, enduring painful tests hoping that one day I would be free. And that was when the fire nation attacked! Oh god, you should see your face, it’s priceless! Nah mate, all that stuff I said was bogus. I was raised right here in Minnesota just chilling, you know, enjoying life. What, you want more? Trust me, I’m not that interesting.
Powers: Well, whenever I tell a (bad) joke or pun, a huge metal anvil usually falls from the sky and crashes right here on the ground. Usually in front of me but eh, I’ve managed to aim it before.
(Things in parentheses are OOC. The rest of this is IC. A form for your character to answer.)
Describe your abilities: Well, I am a master fighter. Once, I was trapped in a cavern all by myself with over a 100 carnivorous guinea pigs. The battle was hard fought but I eventually arose from the ashes of my fallen prey and claimed victory over their forgotten souls. Oh, you’re serious. Well, I can cook two minute ramen in a minute and fifty nine seconds, does that count?
Why did you become a superhero: I don’t know, it seemed like a lot of fun. That and the fact that I got fired from every other job I’ve had. I mean, I wasn’t necessarily bad but I guess they didn’t like it when I took a little longer of a break. How much? Oh, only like the entire shift.
What are your goals for the future: Well, being able to pay my rent doesn’t seem too hard so I’ll go with that.
