Because it is in very poor taste. The Mosque is not being built with the aim of poking fun at 9/11, while the bar clearly only exists to ridicule Muslims. Such ideas are repugnant.

I very much doubt the reason you stated is the motive behind this thread. I think it has more to do with him being indignant about a Muslin gay bar near ground zero than any show of tolerance on his part. This is, after all, a Yugi thread.

It could also be a troll thread. Who knows.
