Adeia
Image
Adeia is an old, often forgotten island region. Before the great war it was scarcely populated but duo to the great war it has grown greatly in number, something that has brought a lot of new challenges. Adeia has a temperate to subtropical climate meaning that most places have good weather all year round. Currently Adeia is divided into six regions. On the mainland there is the Snowfall Region in the north, Wetswamp Region in the west, Dryrock Region in the center and the Sunwood Region in the south. Furthermore there is the Reefstring Region, a region which is located just to the south of the mainland and at last there is the Agrios Region, a region located to the south-east of the mainland.

Regional Map
(Black dots are certain locations outside of the cities and towns, black lines are tunnels/caves and mountain passes)

Gyre Ocean
Gyre Ocean is what the deep sea surrounding Adeia is called. It is home to many water type Pokémon that prefer the depths over the shallow seas near the shores. Some say that the Gyre Ocean is the deepest Ocean out there and that Pokémon are living there which the world has never seen before. Nobody knows for sure though as scientists haven’t been able to verify the depths of all oceans so far.

Snowfall Region
Snowfall Region is the only region that experiences real winter with snow. It is also known as one of the only two regions without a city or town located in it and it’s the only region that doesn’t have a city or town while it still has permanent residents. Snowfall Region is mostly known for its vast plains and its pine forests.
To the east and south Snowfall Region borders Dryrock Region and to the south-east it borders Sunwood Region. Snowfall Region is connected with the City of Basalt through a tunnel that runs underneath the Oridge Mountains and it is also governed by that city.

Summersnow Plains
The Summersnow Plains are by far the first things that pop up in people’s mind when they think about the Snowfall Region. The plains stretch across most of the region and are home to many kinds of Pokémon that travel in herds across the plains according to the season’s.

Pinewoods
The Pinewoods is a collective name for the forests of the Summersnow Region. They have their own unique kind of Pokémon that can deal with the winter without any problems. They are also known for being home to a lot of Ghost type Pokémon as it can be as dark as night when one travels through them.

Anthracite Temple
Anthracite Temple is located on the western edge of Snowfall Region. It is the last surviving structure of an old city that got destroyed by the Flarash Volcano and it is the only Gym in Snowfall Region. Its also arguable the most scary one. The Gym leader of Anthracite Temple is specialized in Ghost and Dark Pokémon and the Temple is located deep into the Pinewoods, build mostly into the Oridge Mountains. The Gym leader of Anthracite Temple has a unique way of handling his Gym. Anthracite Temple has a labyrinth and players will have to find their way out of it in pitch black darkness while battling his Pokémon. It is a race against time as the labyrinth closes itself once the sun emerges, at which point the trainer has lost. There are no requirements for this Gym and the signature Pokémon are Dusclops and Umbreon. Rewards upon winning are the Anthracite Badge, $3,000, TM30 and five Dusk Balls. Anthracite Temple is also the only place where you can buy Dusk Balls.

Celia's Pokémon Care
One of the few permanent residents is Celia, an old but friendly lady who runs a Pokémon Daycare. Trainers can stop by and for $1,000 per Pokémon she will take care of it for as long as it needs. The advantage of bringing your Pokémon here instead of transferring it to Professor Alice is that Celia actually trains your Pokémon. So once you return your Pokémon will be stronger. Beware though as some Pokémon may not like being left behind and it may cause a shift in its emotional state!
Celia’s Pokémon Care is located somewhat in the center of Snowfall Region.

Summersnow Farm
Next to Celia’s Pokémon Care lies Summersnow Farm, a large farm operated by dozens of people who also live there. It is the only major Pokémon Farm in Adeia and its also the only place where a trainer can buy Moomoo Milk. On a regular basis the farm has some wild Pokémon that they themselves cannot tame (this because they do not fight with Pokémon themselves) and so trainers can get a free opportunity to catch a new Pokémon.

Summersnow Refugee Camp
A little bit to the north of Summersnow Farm and Celia’s Pokémon Care lies the Summersnow Refugee Camp. It was known as one of the worst places for refugees because it was hard to get proper supplies there. It has been abandoned now for some years though there are still several Pokémon out there that once belonged to the refugees. It is wise to watch your surroundings as not all of these Pokémon are friendly, some changed their grief of abandonment to anger towards humans in general. Summersnow Refugee Camp was a camp for civilians and at its peak it hosted some nine hundred people.

Boulder Research Center
To the north-east of Summersnow Refugee Camp is the Boulder Research Center. It is a top secret research center funded by the major of Altorre City. Nobody knows exactly what is being done at the research center though they claim they are studying the behavior of Pokémon. The people working at Boulder Research Center also live there though many, if not all, also have a house elsewhere to which they return on holidays. There is a strict code that forbids employers to talk about what is being done at the research center.

Wetswamp Region
Wetswamp Region is a region entirely covered by swamps. Most people consider it a disgusting place but for Bug and Poison type Pokémon it is an absolute paradise. Wetswamp region has a small town called Tasmire Town. Many people have gone missing in this region as there is only one small sand path leading towards the town and once you wander away from the path it can be a challenge to find your way back.
Wetswamp Region only borders Dryrock Region to which it is connected by a tunnel underneath the Oridge Mountains.

Wetswamp Ponds
The Wetswamp Ponds are three ponds and basically the only three open areas in the entire region with an exception of the beach. It are also the best places to capture wild Pokémon as they often come here for a drink though some would tell you otherwise as none of them is even close to the path.

Peatload Forest
Peatload Forest covers the entire region making it difficult to navigate through the wilderness. Its trees are tall and grow rapidly as there is never a shortage of water around them. They are often filled with bug type Pokémon, an example of this is the record that had been set thirteen years ago in which one tree was home to one hundred twenty-two Pokémon.

Tasmire Town
Tasmire Town is the only place inhabited by humans in Wetswamp Region. It is a small and poor town with no running water nor any electricity. The people here live like they lived three hundred years ago. The town is well known for hosting a Gym that represents Bug and Poison type Pokémon. There are no requirements and the Gym leader uses the normal battle rules. Its signature Pokémon is Scolipede and the rewards upon winning include the Tasmire Badge, $1,000, TM06 and three Antidotes.

Dryrock Region
Dryrock Region is a vast region located right in the center of Adeia. It is famous for its desert and its mountains which stretch from one side of the island to the other. Its capital, the City of Basalt used to be the great capital and even though it has been replaced by Sunshine City it still remains the oldest and arguable the most proud city of Adeia. The Region is also home to a town called Frostfall Village which is located deep in the mountains.
To the north Dryrock Region borders Snowfall Region, to the west Wetswamp Region, to the south-east Sunwood Region and in the far south it borders Reefstring Region by sea.
Tunnels connect Dryrock Region to both Snowfall Region as Wetswamp Region and by an old mineshaft it is also connected with Sunwood Region.

Dryrid Desert
Dryrid Desert is a famous place and known all around Adeia. While it holds some unique Pokémon its fame comes from elsewhere. It mainly concerns its location. Scientists have yet to discover as to why it is a desert considering that, given its location, it shouldn’t be a desert at all. Locals think they know why it is a desert, they believe that long ago Legendary Pokémon fought a battle on that spot, a battle that was so devastating that it turned the area into a desert and that it erected the mountains around it. Perhaps they are right or perhaps there is another reason, who knows.

Oridge Mountains
The Oridge Mountains stretch from the north all the way to the south and almost from west to east aswell. They surround the Dryrid Desert and are home to a lot of Pokémon. On the highest parts of the mountains there is snow every day of the year while on the lower parts it can be extremely hot. The Oridge Mountains are famous for its large diversity in Pokémon. Rock, Ground, Ice, Fire, Dragon, they can all be found at the Oridge Mountains.

Dryrock Fields
Between the Dryrid Desert and the Oridge Mountains are the Dryrock Fields. Barren Fields that grow little, but just enough for some Pokémon to make it their home. For humans and a lot of Pokémon alike the Dryrock Fields pose more problems than anything else. The Fields are caught on fire multiple times a year, causing Pokémon to flee elsewhere, which are often the outskirts of the City of Basalt. It was even reason enough for the City of Basalt to set up a special team of people and Pokémon to fight the fires whenever and wherever they emerge.

Flarash Volcano
Flarash Volcano is located in the north-eastern part of the Oridge Mountains. It is well known for its many Fire type Pokémon aswell as for the destruction it caused upon a city in Snowfall Region a long time ago. The last eruption happened almost fifty years ago and it was held under firm control by people and their Pokémon from all over Adeia.

City of Basalt
The City of Basalt is the third biggest and the oldest city in Adeia. It is located in the northern part of Dryrock Region. It is famous for its many exclusive shops including a travel agency and a Poké Ball Craftsman’s shop. The City of Basalt also holds a Gym which is specialized in Ground and Rock type Pokémon. The Gym leader is known for testing the ability of trainers to adapt to the environment. It has no requirements and its signature Pokémon is Golem. Upon winning trainers get the Basalt Badge, $3,000, HM08 and five Heavy Balls.

Basalt Travel Agency
Basalt Travel Agency is the only place in Adeia where one can purchase a ticket to Agrios and it is one of the only two places where one can purchase a ticket for the S.S.Delia, the other place being the dock for the S.S.Delia itself.

Poké Workshop
If you ever want a unique kind of Poké Ball, the Poké Workshop is the place where you have to be. From generation to generation this shop has mastered the craftsmanship of Poké Balls. They can make everything, from Poké Balls that work better on certain times of the day to Poké Balls that are especially effective on a certain type of Pokémon. Even though they have the ability, they refuse to make Poké Balls especially for specific Pokémon as they believe that it would cause trainers to cheat their way to the top, the same counts for Poké Balls that guarantee the capture of any Pokémon with a single throw.

Basalt Refugee Center
Just like all cities in Adeia, the City of Basalt has a refugee center. The Basalt Refugee Center was especially build for wounded soldiers and wounded civilians of all sides. It was also the most successful refugee center as it had everything from a hospital to a rehabilitation department to a psychologist department that helped people over their trauma’s. The Basalt Refugee Center also had a rehabilitation and psychologist department for Pokémon although it proved to be a lot more difficult to help out Pokémon than to help out people.
The Basalt Refugee Center is still functioning although the hospital is now also being used by locals.

Frostfall Village
Frostfall Village is a small village high into the Oridge Mountains. It is located on the north-eastern side and only accessible by a small and long path through the mountains which begins in Sunwood Region. It is also the only village or even place in which people live that is covered by snow all year long. Frostfall Village holds two Gym’s. Both the Ice Gym as the Flying Gym are located in the village. The Ice Gym, just as the Anthracite Temple Gym, promotes a battle against time. In the case of the Ice Gym there isn’t a labyrinth to pass through but there is something else. As the battle starts a fire will be lith. Slowly the fire will die out duo to the cold and once it has vanished a referee will decide who won the battle based on the amount of Pokémon the trainer and Gym leader have left aswell as the state of the Pokémon currently in the field. It is worth mentioning that it is possible to extend the amount of time by calling out a Pokémon that can re-light the fire to its starting position before its burned out completely. A trainer has to have at least four Badges and three Pokémon before the Gym can be challenged. Its signature Pokémon is Cryogonal and the reward includes the Frost Badge, $3,000, TM16 and three Ice Heal’s.
The Flying Gym is a one of a kind as it is the only Gym that doesn’t involve any battle. The Gym leader grew tired of it and decided to race against trainers would be a lot more fun for both the trainers as the Pokémon. Before a trainer is able to challenge the Flying Gym he or she has to have at least one Badge and at least one Flying type Pokémon. The signature Pokémon of this Gym is Farfetch'd and upon winning the trainer can count on the Fall Badge, $1,000, HM02 and five Fast Balls.

Obsidian Mansion
The Obsidian Mansion is located to the south-east of the Flarash Volcano. It was built by an unknown man with the Obsidian that covered the area after the last eruption and it is only accessible by a mountain pass that begins at the Dryrock Fields. It has been the home of the Fire Gym leader for almost twenty years now. Just like the Ice Gym and the Ghost/Dark Gym, the Fire Gym leader also got inspired by the battle against time idea. His interpretation however is considered a quiet dangerous one as trainers won’t be entirely safe. The Gym battle takes place right above the Volcano and it is up to the trainer to defeat the Gym leader before he passes out from the heath and gasses that emerge from the Volcano. At least four Badges are needed before one can challenge the Gym and its signature Pokémon is Magmar. If the trainer manages to win the battle he or she will be rewarded with the Obsidian Badge, $3,000, TM38 and three Burn Heal’s.

Glittering Cavern
The Glittering Cavern, also known as the home of the Dragons, is a large open cave in the far south of the Oridge Mountains. It looks over the Gyre Ocean and its only accessible by a long and quiet dangerous cave leading there from out the Dryrock Fields. The Glittering Cavern has its own Guardian and it is considered a big honor to be chosen to be that Guardian even though he or she will be spending almost their entire adult life living with the Pokémon there. The Guardian also counts as the Dragon Gym leader, something most find even more honorable. Before one can challenge the Guardian he or she has to have at least seven Badges and six Pokémon, making it the Gym with the highest requirements though it is considered justifiable as it is the toughest Gym in Adeia to beat.
Just like the Gym in the City of Basalt, the Guardian makes full use of the environment and will force the trainer to do the same if he or she wants to stand a chance. Its signature Pokémon is Goodra and upon defeat the Guardian will reward the trainer with the Glittering Badge, $10,000, TM02, TM20 and ten Luxury Balls.

Sunwood Region
Sunwood Region is the largest region of Adeia and it holds the two biggest cities of which one is the capital. For the most part it is a region filled with grass fields and beautiful forests, a true paradise for those who just wish to live a quiet and happy life in general. It was the region that took in the most refugees and the region that also experienced the most issues with traumatized Pokémon. It is a growing region with a lot of opportunities for young and old to explore.
To the north and west Sunwood Region borders Dryrock Region, to the north-east it borders Snowfall Region and in the south it borders Reefstring Region by sea.

Sunwood Lake
Sunwood Lake is the largest lake of Adeia and holds the biggest variation of Water Pokémon with the exception of the seas. From far and wide people used to come over to swim in the lake during the summer months though since the Altorre Power plant has been build the water has been partly polluted. This prompted an outcry of the people though so far it has remained unanswered.

Sunwood Forest
The Sunwood Forests are your everyday forests, inhabited by many different Pokémon who all get along fairly good. Many people, even those without Pokémon, tend to wander the woods for hours enjoying the nature and the Pokémon. The Forests are even considered tourist attraction no.1 in the entire Sunwood Region.

Altorre City
The second largest city of Adeia is Altorre City. It is located in the western part of Sunwood region and its built on top of a plateau. Before the great war started Altorre City was just a small mining village trying to make a living. When the war began and people fled to Adeia the mayor offered them work at the mines. Many of the refugees accepted this as it gave them the opportunities to either make something of their lives here or to save some money for once they could return. This action caused the plateau to exists as it was part of the Oridge Mountains before. After complaints from the City of Basalt concerning the mining the mayor bought the plateau from the Dryrock Region and promised not to mine any further. To offer the people jobs the mayor invested a lot of money in the industry and within three years the city was making profit again. It is by far the richest city in Adeia and the locals, along with the refugees who remained have one of the highest living standards.
While it might look amazing from the outside, some people do raise some eyebrows at it. Many wonder how the major was able to turn a small village into such city within a few years and some even argue that the mayor is part of Team Rocket, stating that he couldn’t have earned all that money just by mining. Whatever it is about the city, its residents don’t seem to care all that much.
Altorre City is also the host of a Gym that has taken its interest in Steel and Electric type Pokémon. The Gym leader is nobody else than the man himself, the mayor of Altorre City. While he may be very good for his citizens, his battle ideas aren’t so friendly. Two Badges and at least six Pokémon of which at least one has to be of the Electric type are needed to challenge the Gym. Trainers have to make two groups of each three Pokémon, the first group including the Electric type. In the first three versus three battle the trainer, just like the major himself, has to charge a machine that can open a box containing the other three Pokémon. It is said that only the strong Electric types can manage to give the machine enough electricity and if that isn’t enough, the other two Pokémon will be used to attack the Pokémon charging the machine. Once the box is open the trainer or major can call upon the other three aswell. If the trainer is too late to open the box it will end up in a six versus three battle, leaving the trainer with little to no chance to win, but if the trainer manages to open the box first it will end in the exact opposite way. The rewards of the Altorre Gym include the Altorre Badge, $5,000, TM23 and TM25. Its signature Pokémon are Aggron and Electabuzz.

Battle Stop
The Battle Stop is the only TM specialized shop in Adeia and its located in Altorre City. Alongside the everyday TM’s it also sells some rare and powerful ones, something that can also be noticed at the price that comes along with it.

Altorre Refugee Center
Altorre City, just like the City of Basalt, had a refugee center. The Altorre Refugee Center has been inactive since a year and it was primarily occupied by soldiers. There is little to no data available as to how many people came through it as most of them started to work in the mines and with that they received citizenship almost instantly.

Sunshine City
Sunshine City is the largest city of Adeia, capital of Sunwood Region and also capital of Adeia as a whole. It is a city with many parks on which Pokémon and trainers meet with one another to share information. It’s the city in which the Adeia League is being held each year and it is also the host city of two Gym’s. Both the Grass as Normal Gym’s are present in the city. The Grass Gym is the easiest of the two, it has no requirements and handles the normal battle rules. Its signature Pokémon is Meganium and upon defeating the Gym leader the trainer will receive the Sunwood Badge, $2,000, TM19 and an Agrios Ticket.
Just like the Grass Gym, the Normal Gym also handles the normal battle rules. It requires three Badges and six Pokémon to challenge it and upon winning the battle the trainer will receive the Sunshine Badge, $5,000, TM44 and five Ultra Balls. The signature Pokémon of the Normal Gym is Ursaring.

Adeia Stadium
The Adeia Stadium is the place where most trainers have been at one point or another. It hosts all major tournaments including the famous Adeia League. The competition here is fierce but the rewards are always more than worth it. The stadium has the ability to transform into any type of battlefield which makes it the only battlefield with such ability in Adeia.

Sunshine Bicycle Shop
Sunshine Bicycle Shop is the place to be when you need a Bicycle. They may cost something but if you’re tired of walking everywhere this might aswell be the perfect solution.

Sunshine Refugee Center
Sunshine Refugee Center is a refugee center for civilians and it is still in operation till this day. It has taken in some of the most severe cases who are still in need of care and who will continue that type of care for the coming years. Even though it is still in full operation it also aids locals when needed, especially now that they aren’t receiving any new refugees anymore.

Sunwood Refugee Camp
To the north-east of Sunshine City lies Sunwood Refugee Camp, the largest refugee camp of Adeia. At its peak it hosted almost twenty-two hundred people, both soldiers as civilians. It is the only refugee camp that is still occupied by refugees although the number has lowered drastically since the end of the war. The camp is currently home to one hundred fifty-five people. It is the only place that remains to have a problem with traumatized Pokémon. Estimates of the number of traumatized Pokémon living in and around the camp go anywhere from one hundred to seven hundred. It is said that one can better avoid this place if he or she doesn’t have any strong Pokémon for protection.

Sunshine Farm
Just to the north-west of Sunshine City lies the Sunshine Farm, a large farm that grows all kinds of berries for humans and Pokémon alike. The beauty of this farm is, all Pokémon trainers may stop by from time to time to receive some free berries from the farm owner.

Altorre Power Plant
To the east of Altorre City and on the edge of Sunwood lake lies the Altorre Power Plant. Its construction and usage has caused a lot of anger amongst both locals as tourists though it seems that none of the authorities are willing to listen to it. While the people may have a point or two for being angry, they cannot deny that Altorre Power Plant was needed to keep on the lights. Altorre Power Plant is further known for being a good place to capture Electric type Pokémon.

The old Palace
Further to the north-east, deep inside the Sunwood Forest and almost right at the Oridge Mountains lies the old Palace. Nobody is sure when it was build, who lived there and if it’s even supposed to be a palace. All people know is that it is haunted by both Ghost as Psychic type Pokémon who seem to like messing with people’s minds.

S.S.Delia Dock
The S.S.Delia Dock is located on the southern edge of Sunwood Region. Trainers who desire to head for Reefstring Region are forced to take the S.S.Delia unless they have a Pokémon that knows Surf.
Aside from making trips to Reefstring Region it is also the only way to get away from Adeia in general. Tickets for the S.S.Delia can be bought at the dock itself or at Basalt Travel Agency. All tickets are return tickets and so it is not needed to purchase a new ticket upon the return to Sunwood Region.

Reefstring Region
Reefstring Region is the main island region of Adeia. It is home to a huge amount of Water type Pokémon and is by far tourist spot number one. Reefstring region itself is somewhat divided into three separate parts, each consisting out of one or more islands.
To the north Reefstring Region borders Sunwood Region, to the west it borders Dryrock Region and to the east it borders Agrios Region.

Wetstone Isles
The Wetstone Isles are the two most western islands of Reefstring Region. They are known for being covered with small stones which makes them a beloved home for some specific Water type Pokémon. Almost half of one of the two isles is covered by an unnamed forest, a forest that marks the change in the ground as the stones turn to sand on the very edge of it.

Seafoam Island
Seafoam Island is the biggest island in the Reefstring Region. It is covered partly by the same forest that emerges at the Wetstone Isles but for the most part it is filled with grass fields and beautiful beaches. Seafoam Island is also home to the one and only city of Reefstring Region.

Agrios Islands
The Agrios Islands are the three most eastern islands of the Reefstring Region and they are named after Agrios Region. Many years ago when humans first tried to explore and settle Agrios Region they were often chased away by, what they described as, scary and strong Pokémon. These people all ended up on the Agrios Islands before returning to their homes or before trying again.
In general the Agrios Islands look no different from Seafoam Island aside from size. One of the islands, the one closest to Agrios, is fully covered by a forest that begins at the island located in the middle of the three.

Shallowshoal Sea
Shallowshoal Sea connects Reefstring Region to Sunwood Region. Most of the elderly still remember that in summer one could walk from one region to the other over the Shallowshoal Sea as its water level would drop dramatically during the summer months. In the past fifty years however the seabed seems to have lowered itself and while people aren’t able to walk across anymore, It now has become a beautiful coral reef that young and old can enjoy all day long.

Seafoam City
Seafoam City is the capital of Reefstring Region and it is also the smallest city in Adeia. In fact, it is more of a resort than an actual city as its permanent residents equal an almost simular amount as those of the other towns. Seafoam City is the only place that has a harbor and so all goods coming from outside of Adeia enter Seafoam City first. The city is home to the Water type gym for as long as people can remember. The Gym’s only requirement is that at least one Pokémon knows the move Dive, a move that can be learned through the HM06 which can be bought at the Seafoam Market. It is needed as the Gym holds its battles deep underwater through two mini submarines. Its signature Pokémon is Wailmer and upon defeating the Gym the trainer is rewarded with the Seafoam Badge, $2,000, HM03 and the HM05.

Seafoam Water Sports
Seafoam Water Sports is the shop where a trainer has to be if he or she wishes to purchase a better rod. Its employers are friendly and will help out anyone with making the right choice. It also sells Water Stones, something trainers might have to keep in mind if they wish to evolve certain Pokémon.

Agrios Region
Agrios Region is the only region in Adeia without any permanent residents and the only protected wildlife area out there. It is considered the Safari Zone of Adeia as those who visit it are given the opportunity to catch some of its unique and rare Pokémon though they are not allowed to bring any of their own Pokémon on the trip. The region is governed by Seafoam City as it only borders Reefstring Region to the west. The region is a special one considering the Pokémon living there all look after one another, something that is also the reason as to why people have never been able to settle down on the island. Because of a lack of money to preserve the island the authorities allowed trainers to go to Agrios Region and to capture some of its Pokémon. Trainers won’t be allowed to use any of their own Pokémon there nor any man made items. Trainers are given 30 Safari Balls to capture Pokémon, if they used all the Safari Balls it is time to leave the island. Tickets for a trip to the Island can only be bought at Basalt Travel Agency and trainers will be brought to Agrios with a helicopter.

Mono Mountain
Mono Mountain is the only mountain located on Agrios Region and it is the last remaining evidence that the Oridge Mountains used to stretch even further than it does now. Just like Agrios Region as a whole it holds some unique and rare Pokémon that attract trainers from all over the region.

Agrios Research Laboratory
The only building located on Agrios Region is the Agrios Research Laboratory. It is the place from which the journey of Agrios begins for all trainers and it is also the place were Professor Alice does her research on Pokémon.

Events

Minor Events
Aside from the main events there will be several minor events along the way. These can involve everything from a battle tournament to a fishing contest to a beauty contest to a Bug plague and just like the events itself can be very different its rewards will be aswell. Always keep an eye on the OOC and the IC and you won’t miss any of them.

Main Events
There are three main events in Adeia that keep most trainers on edge. The challenges are tough but the rewards are always well worth it. Some events are held often while others can let trainers wait for a long time. Some say that one cannot call himself a real Pokémon master unless he has participated in all of the major events at least once.

Zingo's Crazy Whacky Circus
Zingo’s Crazy Whacky Circus is well, exactly what it says, a circus. Trainers and other people alike can go and visit the show performed by people and Pokémon alike. For trainers the most interesting thing is the fact that Zingo’s Crazy Whacky Circus also functions as a Gym specialized in Psychic and Fairy Pokémon. At least one Badge and four Pokémon are needed before the Gym can be challenged and its signature Pokémon is Mr. Mime. There is no battle at this Gym, instead the Gym leader challenges you to perform a successful show. It is not known on what the amount of success is based though some believe that it depends on how much the audience loves it. If the trainer’s show is successful enough he or she can expect the Circus Badge, $3,000, TM29 and the TM45.

Poké-Rumble
The Poké-Rumble is another major even that takes place every once and then. The rate in which it takes place depends on the amount of people signing up to participate. To participate one must have at least three Pokémon. Poké-Rumble is a Pokémon boxing event in which Pokémon fight each other with physical attacks only. Those that manage to make it to the finals can challenge the organizer of Poké-Rumble who also happens to be the Gym leader of Fighting type Pokémon. The signature Pokémon of Poké Rumble is Hariyama and those that manage to defeat the organizer receive the Rumble Badge, $3,000, TM01 and the TM08.

Adeia League
At last there is the Adeia League, the biggest event of all where the strongest and most experienced trainers go head to head against each other to become one of the Adeia Champions. It is the place to be for not just the toughest trainers out there but also for other trainers who want to learn a thing or two, breeders who seek strong partners for their own Pokémon, traders who like to make fair bit of money and it even attracts professors who desire to get a firsthand chance to study the bond between Pokémon and their trainers.

Stories

Stories can emerge from time to time, some can be very small while others can be big and long. For trainers these stories can be interesting as they can offer them something interesting to do other than capturing Pokémon and challenging other trainers or Gym’s. They also offer new experiences and all kinds of rewards.

The Missing trainers
Two years ago six trainers went missing on their journey and till this very day they have not been found. Rewards have been promised by both the authorities as the families for the golden tip that leads to the missing trainers. Trainers can actively search for the trainers or they can just keep an eye out for any clues regarding them. If any clues or the trainers themselves are found trainers are asked to press their alarm watch and to wait until the authorities have arrived to check it out.

None as of yet.

Markets and Items

Markets
All cities and towns have a Market at which trainers can buy and sell most of their goods. The markets all handle the same prices for the same items so it won’t matter where you go. Some items however are only available in the markets of a certain town or city, other items are only available at special kind of markets or places. Below is the items list which includes all items available on Adeia, where they can be found, bought and sold.

Name: Emma Guard
Gender: Female
Age: 16

Biography: Emma Guard was born some 16 years ago in the City of Basalt. Her father worked as a firefighter and her mother at the local hospital. From a young age Emma loved Pokémon and she spend many days at her grandfather’s house as he had a lot of Pokémon, some of which were very powerful. Her grandfather was the first of the Guard family as he adopted the last name after he resigned as the 43th Guardian of the Glittering Cavern. For Emma not much changed during the great war, she had heard of it, saw people she never saw before and her mother switched jobs to work at the Basalt Refugee Center but that was all she ever really noticed of it, or at least till some 6 years ago. Emma was wandering around through the Dryrock Fields when out of nowhere a Rhyhorn appeared. Emma did what she always did when she noticed a Pokémon, she started to talk to it. The Rhyhorn however seemed to be in a bad mood as it charged at Emma. Two times Emma managed to avoid being hit but with a third charge the Rhyhorn threw Emma to the ground. Emma was afraid that the Rhyhorn would hurt her and as she turned away from it and closed her eyes she heard somebody shouting. She looked up and noticed two Pokémon running towards her. The Pokémon attacked the Rhyhorn, forcing it to step away from Emma. Emma then looked up again and saw that the man who shouted was a colleague of her father. Upon being asked how she was Emma told the firefighter that she was okay. The firefighter fought the Rhyhorn and captured it eventually. On their way back the firefighter told Emma that the Rhyhorn was one of the Pokémon who had seen too many bad things during the war and that it had escaped from the refugee center.
For the next few days Emma thought about it and while she was angry at the Rhyhorn at first, she started to pity it more and more each day. One day Emma went along with her mother to see Rhyhorn as she really wanted to see it again, if only for some kind of closure. For that entire day Emma sat with Rhyhorn, only a few bars separating them from each other. At first Emma felt scared again as she noticed the anger in the eyes of Rhyhorn but as time flew by she got more and more relaxed around the Pokémon. For Weeks she came along with her mother and she sat with Rhyhorn, talking to it and hoping that she would be able to make it better again. The head of the refugee center had also taken notice of this and after some discussion with Emma’s parents he told Emma that she could keep Rhyhorn if she was able to calm him down a bit.
For a long time she worked with Rhyhorn at the refugee center and after exactly two years since the attack she took him home for the first time. It once again took a long time for Rhyhorn to adapt to the situation but with Emma on his side he managed to do it. Once the nightmares of Rhyhorn had become a rare occurrence Emma felt confident enough to show the rest of Adeia to Rhyhorn. Luckily it took only half a year after Emma made her decision that the authorities gave permission once more for trainers to set out. Together with her parents and Rhyhorn she travelled to Sunshine City to receive her starter gear.
Personality: Emma is a calm but happy girl. She is somewhat on her own though her parents believe that’s mostly because she had to spend much of her time with Rhyhorn which kept her from having many friends or other social interaction.
Likes: Emma likes Pokémon and will take all the time for them no matter what. She also enjoys the outdoors and loves swimming.
Dislikes: Emma dislikes people who treat their Pokémon bad the most as she knows first handed what impact something like that can have on a Pokémon.

Name: Rhyhorn
Gender: Male
Age: 15
Pokéball Type: Heavy Ball

Biography: Rhyhorn grew up in the wild somewhere in the Kanto Region. He was also caught there, most likely just before or during the great war. Much of the memory of Rhyhorn is black from that point and it is likely he was used in the war considering his injuries.
The memory of Rhyhorn starts once more in Adeia, more specifically at Basalt Refugee Center. He was locked up there and his wounds were treated but for whatever reason he had grown a hatred for people. He escaped from the refugee center by charging right through the walls. For two days he roamed around in the wild once more until he came across a girl that wandered around in the fields.
Rhyhorn attacked the girl as he tried to chase her out of his new home but he was stopped by two other Pokémon who tired him out and eventually their human caught him. Once again Rhyhorn woke up at the refugee center though this time in another room, one that was fully surrounded by bars. After some time he once again saw the girl he attacked as she visited him and while he still hated her at first she stayed long enough for Rhyhorn to calm down. Since then Rhyhorn developed a weak spot for the girl and the two eventually became good friends of each other. Today the day Rhyhorn lives with the girl and plans are that they are about to set out on a journey around Adeia.
Emotional State: Protective.
Personality: Rhyhorn finds a lot of comfort in Emma and he wouldn’t know what to do without her on his side. He’s very protective towards her and won’t let anyone get too close, especially not when he gets the impression that the person in question is up to no good. Aside from that Rhyhorn is a relative calm Pokémon. From time to time he still has nightmares in which images flash by from the time with his first owner.
Likes: Rhyhorn likes Emma, it’s all he really cares about now. He does enjoy other things aswell though like turning rocks into rubble and watching the sunset.
Dislikes: Rhyhorn still dislikes people in general and tends to keep a close eye on all of them. He will warn Emma whenever he feels somebody is going to cause trouble and so far he never had it wrong. He also dislikes stormy weather as the sounds make him scared and remind him of his past.

Trainer

Image

Name: Aegis Jones
Gender: Male
Age: 19

Biography: Although starting off his journey rather later than usual, Aegis has been fond of Pokémon ever since he was a little kid. Luckily, his mom worked around them as a researcher, so he always went along with her when he was able to. He knew not to get in her way and in the way of her colleagues. On top of that, Aegis helped as much as he could with them whenever they asked for it. His favorite Pokemon were always Fire and Normal types, though he liked the other Pokémon as well. Aegis never knew his father, as he died shortly after he was born. All he heard was stories about what a great man he was from his mother and several of her friends. One such story was about how he saved a Charmander during a rainstorm. Another was how much his love for Pokémon was deep. Filled with inspiration, Aegis decided to become a Trainer and took the time to learn as much about Pokémon as he possibly can until he felt like he was ready for his first one. Around this time, he saw his mom and her coworkers bring in an injured Aipom. Aegis helped take care of it and never left its side. He was worried for its well-being. From this point on, Aipom and Aegis became the best of friends and were inseparable.
Personality: Aegis is a very laid back guy, but can be serious when need to be.
Likes: Pokémon and taking the time to get to know the ones he meets and/or catches. Helping people in need. Outdoors.
Dislikes: People who mistreat both Pokémon and other People.

Pokémon

Image

Name: Aipom
Gender: Female
Age: 16
Pokéball Type: Friend Ball

Biography: Before meeting Aegis, Aipom was a wild Pokémon living in the nearby forest of his mom's research center. It lived with several other Aipoms and several Ambipoms. It usually got into trouble with them when it stole their food and other Pokémon's food a lot. One day, it was left behind "by accident" by her group. Aipom was lost without them and had to defend itself while still keeping in touch with its mischievous side. On one faithful night, Aipom came across a Beedrill nest and had the bright idea of "borrowing" some of their food and honey, thinking she'd be able to give it back later. However, one of the Beedrill saw her in the process of stealing their stuff and woke the other's up. A battle ensued and Aipom was quickly injured. It managed to escape the Beedrill and found its way to Professor Jones' camp outside of the research center. The professor quickly stopped what she was doing and took Aipom to her research center to heal the Pokémon up. It was there that Aipom and Aegis met. Aegis was worried about Aipom and helped look after her.
Emotional State: Mischievous
Personality: Much like Ash's/Dawn's Aipom, attention-seeking, very naughty at times. However, unlike that Aipom, this one also can be serious in battles and enjoys the little things as well.
Likes: Stealing people's stuff, Aegis, Aegis' mom, the research center
Dislikes: Beedrill

Ability: Run Away
Moves:
  • Scratch
  • Astonish
  • Sand Attack
  • Tail Whip
Other:
DEFCON 5: Total Peace/Normal readiness
DEFCON 4: Increased intel/Strengthened Security/Above Normal
DEFCON 3: Increase in force readiness/Special Forces ready to mobilize
DEFCON 2: War Imminent/Entire Military ready to mobilize
DEFCON 1: Total War/Nuclear War imminent
DEFCON 0: Total Nuclear War

Trainer

Image

Name: Mark Harvey
Gender: Male
Age: 14

Biography: Mark was born in the Kanto region, fourteen years ago. His parents ran a successful breeding center in Kanto for many years. Eventually, the war broke out and Mark's parents decided to flee Kanto for the more peaceful Adeia region. They brought as many pokemon and eggs as they could carry with them and were forced to sell the rest. They arrived with their son and remaining pokemon in the Adeia region and used what money they had to purchase a tract of land to resume their breeding operations. As Mark grew older he he began to help more and more around the center. He fed the pokemon and looked after the eggs. Mark grew especially close to his parents Nidoking and Nidoqueen. These two were responsible for his families escape and safe journey from Kanto to Adeia, warding against wild pokemon and carrying a great number of eggs. Despite being very close for many years the two had never produced an egg of their own.

That is until one day when Mark was ten. He noticed Nidoqueen carrying a purple egg. She motioned for Mark to take the egg. In a state of shock the boy took the egg and went to show his parents. They were surprised and proud of their son, for having clearly won the trust of the Nidoking and Nidoqueen. Mark personally looked after the egg for months until it finally hatched. Mark was overjoyed to meet the young Nidoran♂. The two were inseparable, with Nidoran♂ following Mark around as he worked at the center and sleeping at the foot of his bed. Several times Nidoran♂ helped to scare of Rattata, Zigzagoon, and other wild pokemon who would try to sneak into the facility.

Now that trainers are allowed to journey across the region again Mark has decided to bring Nidoran♂ with him to Sunshine City to start their adventure.

Personality: Mark is an independent and adventurous boy who is eager to get out and explore the world before him.
Likes: Nidoran♂, Pokemon, Pokemon eggs, his family.
Dislikes: School, Ghost-types.

Pokémon

Name: Nidoran
Gender: Male
Age: 4
Pokéball Type: Regular

Trainer

Name: Damilus Tyogeta
Gender: Female
Age: 24

Biography: Damilus Wilt, you could say that Damilus was born in life as a winner, conceived into a wealthy family of pokeproduct's distributors as their youngest child based in the Johto reigon. Damilus was surrounded by warmth from the very moment of her birth and while it was expected that Damilus would be put into the family business like her two older brothers. But life in its chaos had a different idea for the young childs fate. Damilus having grown up in a privileged life had all of her modest desires occasionally fulfilled, if she had wanted a dress she would get it. However her parents were capable and taught her the value in objects and had her work until she could pay for at least half of her desired object before purchasing it.
As Damilus grew however while confident she was at times even bossy, however this had an effect on the surrounding neighborhood children which lead them to follow behind Damilus.
Of course as they were children they were warned not to go into the grass's away from the city, which made at times play options rather limited. However as the days passed Damilus grew curious into what laid beyond the grass and so silently she had started making preparations, buying a backpack stocking a assortment of non perishable foods, buying a tent.
Obviously her parents had seen her action and quickly got worried, of course in reality they were also very proud seeing their daughter to their minds as thinking of starting a Pokemon journey. However a few nights before reaching the age of required age of ten, a tragedy occurred which would drastically change Damilus's plans. It was late at night and many times they had been warned about the night however lost in playing Damilus had forgotten the time and was rushing back to her home through the darkening streets.
As the night shift police officers started making their patrols, Damilus was beckoned while running by a voice. It was a strange voice, cheerful, playful but different, it was a voice that made her stop in her tracks in the middle of the street, and then she saw it, the beckoning hands floating in the air and a the cheerful looking Huanter who controlled them.

Without realizing it slowly Damilus took a step forward thinking she was advancing still towards home, in reality the haunter was using confuse ray and hypnosis and was beckoning her towards it. As they neared the Haunter lightly grabbed Damilus and then as if she had become a ghost herself, Damilus was swept away and disappeared.
Days turned to weeks, and for a family of Damilus it was truly torture as search party after search party found nothing of the girl. But after several weeks after all hope had dissipated when a call came in saying that a unknown girl had been found lying on the edge of a forest, weak and unresponsive but alive.
They didn't dare to hope, but like fanatics the family rushed out taking their car to where the call had come from a few towns over.
However to Damilus the experience was unlike anything she could describe, being able to fly through the air as if like the wind watching as town after town passed below them. Being able to play with the cheerful and trickster Haunter who was joined by various other ghost Pokemon. Free of rules or worries it was truly like a dream, at least until Damilus started growing lonely and homesick. She wanted to wake up from this dream, she missed her mother and father... But to her terror she found she couldn't move her body how she wished. Suddenly what was the gentle laughter turned haunting and slowly Damilus found madness. Maybe it had noticed its joke had gone to far, and carefully dropped her off at the edge of a well patrolled forest, but then carefully, the Haunter used hypnosis and dream eater and took away from Damilus everything she had experienced as well as a little part of her soul and disappeared into the darkness.

That experience however would change Damilus forever as she found her worried family crowd around her in a strange room of white. Damlius had no recollection of what had happened other then running home. But as the scenery within a vehicle window passed her vision lazily the darkness made her quiet almost fearful in her parents eyes. It was only a few weeks later after that ordeal that the greatest change would arrive as within Damilus's eye's as the world she saw started growing more difficult to see, and then several days later her vision was as black as the night as if color never existed.
Surrounded in darkness, now blind she did was was only natural and screamed and flailed within her room. As her parents discovered her they quickly rushed to a hospital to gain insight onto what had happened. But her case mystified doctors to no end no matter who came to examine Damilus.

Quickly Damilus being a youth was able to adjust, but her personality suffered as she became an introvert, her outgoing personality vanished and in return Damilus became a quiet girl. Wanting to do something, the family decided that maybe it was time to move and so they opened up a branch in the Hoenn Region. And while they found limited success with their unique pokeballs and convenience items, the family moved to Petalburg city for their daughters health.
It was several weeks after they moved in which Damilus while studying on how to read braille. Was left by a tree on the edge of the Petalburg city while her brothers worked and watched from a distance. As several hours of quiet passed by, Damilus re-positioned herself underneath the tree's moving shade while listening to the gentle trickle of water and the swaying of grass edge. She had long since stopped her dutiful studying as was just enjoying the sounds around her when she interrupted by a sound of rustling which was coming closer. Turning her head towards the sound she could hear the creature stop in its tracks for a moment before moving even closer towards her until the sound of heavy grass rustling was replaced by a softer ruffle.
Although Damilus couldn't see it, a Ralts carefully appeared and stared at her, watching the quiet emotions that Damilus projected outwards.

Slowly Damilus spoke to the unknown sound, she could tell it was smaller then her but that was it. However she had never expected the creature to respond back as if it understood her. Alone in to her an even more strange land then the one she'd come from, in a way this was the beginning that Damilus never would have expected. However the meeting between the girl and a unknown Ralts which would one day become her partner, would start a journey unlike anything she or her family could have ever imagined. Ever since then while becoming friends with the wild Pokemon, slowly as if the Ralts was healing her, Damilus started to return to her original disposition of a cheerful girl who could happily talk about her day. It was then her father gave her a sphere like object and told her that the next time she heard the Pokemon, that she should ask if it would like to join her and place the sphere on the ground.

The next day however as Damilus was placed by the tree, she waited, but the Pokemon never showed. Slowly the hours passed and while it was enjoyable it was bland as if the day didn't have its regular fullness. As it was almost time to leave as Damilus heard her brothers walking over, she slowly got up and was about to move towards them when the grass finally ruffled behind her and the Ralts appeared. Just as she had been listening for it. The Ralts had sensed her strange emotions and hadn't neared until now when they had started cheering up. Confidently the Ralts yelped its name as it got closer to Damilus and slowly she took out the sphere her father had given her and placed it on the ground before her and made her case to the wild pokemon.

For a while the air was silent as the Ralts approached until a sound Damilus had never heard before resounded in front of her followed by a stranger sound of something rolling several times and then a small click. Unaware of what had happened, her brother approached and took the sphere in his hands and placed it into Damilus's and told her what had occurred in which Damilus broke out into tears as her emotions swirled in various directions.
Ever since then Damilus and her Ralts have been inseparable, Sleeping together, living together, working together... The years once more had passed by, some held sadness, others held joyous happenstance. Together they both grew and soon with her own ability and a little help, Damilus started her travels alone with her Pokemon working as a pianist.

Name: Emil Nathan Drake
Gender: Male
Age: 16

Biography: Emil was born in Sunshine City to Maxwell and Valerie Drake, and is the youngest of three siblings, his older sister (22) and brother (19) being Olivia Drake and Victor Drake. The Drakes are a wealthy family, owning several business, as well as managing a few Poké Marts, and have been well established on Adeia for many generations. As such, the Drake children all received a good education and had an all around good upbringing. Olivia and Emil took more after Valerie, while Victor was more like Samuel, and this was clear from early on. Whereas Olivia and Emil, like Valerie, were deeply fascinated by Pokemon, but Samuel and Victor thought of them as interesting, but not worth serious interest from them. Still, Emil was especially interested in Pokemon, to the point where his parents allowed him to spend summers with his maternal uncle Dr. Walter Alder, who had been running a research project out of the City of Basalt.

For a total of 6 summers Emil worked with his uncle, doing small tasks and dealing with many Pokemon. The first three summers wstarted when he was 9, and he went with his sister. That first summer was when he was given a gift from his uncle which he would always cherish: an egg. Walter and Olivia helped Emil care for the egg, and soon it hatched, revealing a young sandshrew, which Emil named Andrew. Emil and Andrew bonded quickly, with Emil being surprisingly responsible with the sandshrew. Emil did use a pokeball to contain Andrew at first, but it became clear that he found the experience disconcerting, and so Emil kept him out as much as possible, and he even slept at the end of Emil's bed.

After three summers, however, Olivia went to college, and the Drakes felt Emil was too young to travel alone. Luckily, Walter was able to pick Emil up, and bring him back. This was how things would go for the next few summers. Emil learned a great deal more during these next few trips, and he was able to train Andrew at the local gym, the trainers there being very helpful. After a couple more summers, however, he felt restricted, and strongly felt that he was almost ready to start on his goal to become a Pokemon Master in earnest. This would, of course, necessitate his traveling the region. He knew it would be arduous, but it was his dream. His parents were not as enthusiastic however, and it took a lot of arguing over many months before they greed to let him go. Still, they insisted on him staying until he had satisfactorily prepared for the journey, which he agreed to do.

Not long after his 16th birthday he finished his preparations, getting supplies and studying in depth the various regions of Adeia, and what he would find there. At long last, he is ready to begin his journey.

Personality: Emil is a confident and intelligent young man, with a passion for just about anything relating to Pokemon. He is kind and courteous, with a concern for the well-being of others, especially his friends. His upbringing, however, has in a sense, spoiled him. He can be a bit free with money, having always had plenty of it he was always quite willing to use it. However, in his preparations for this journey he has sought to break that habit, and has largely succeeded. Still, it is not wholly dealt with. Furthermore, he is likely to intervene if he comes across a situation involving someone in danger.
Likes: Learning about Pokemon, battling and training Pokemon, adventure, kindness/compassion
Dislikes: Abuse, bullies, being lied to or tricked, cowardice

Pokémon

Image

Name: Andrew
Gender: Male
Age: 7
Pokéball Type: Regular Pokéball, but is never in it.

Biography: Andrew was born from an egg to Emil Drake, and since then the two have been largely inseparable. Andrew has led a comfortable life, cared for better than most Pokemon, but like Emil has always been eager to explore the world, and take on new challenges. For much of his life, however, he has been left at home with the servants(school and work keeping much of the family occupied), but he found ways to entertain himself, mostly by pulling pranks on the staff, and the family for that matter. This annoyed them all to almost no end, though he luckily never went too far, and his pranks were never anything serious. But it was the summer when he was happiest, going out to Dr. Alder's home in the City of Basalt with Emil. There he had more freedom, more challenge and of course, more fun. Recently, he has become very excited, as he knows that Emil is about to take him on a fantastic journey: the adventure of a lifetime.

Emotional State: Happy and excited
Personality: Clever, competitive, friendly, impish/mischievous and can be a bit of a jerk
Likes: Competitions/games, eating, sleeping, pranks, friendliness
Dislikes: Sore losers, boring/uptight people, abuse, fools

Ability: Sand Veil
Moves:
  • Scratch
  • Defense Curl
  • Sand Attack
  • Mud Shot
Other: Andrew's pranks are usually tame, but if stressed out or targeting someone he dislikes he can go a little far.

Name: Anders Varne, but goes by just Varne.
Gender: Male
Age: 15

Biography: Anders lived in Adeia his whole life, but before the war, his parents lived in the Sinnoh region. They fled for Adeia during the war's early stages, and brought several pokemon with them in order to give them a safe home as well, including several eggs. The Varnes and the other Sinnoh natives that came with them saught one thing, a place away from the war that they could call home. Once they were free from the war, however, where they ended up would only bring them more misfortune; Summersnow. Being from Sinnoh, they thought that they knew what cold was, but after being thrown into the bitter isolation of the Summersnow refugee camp, some began to wonder if this was any better than the war back home.

Here is where Anders was born, and where he spent his early years, in the frozen heart of the Snowfall region. For these first couple of years, there isn't much to be noted on; each day was the same, and with each day the same struggle to live off the dearth of supplies that they recieved. With the Varnes having barely enough to feed themselves, the pokemon they brought with them were left to fend for themselves, and by the time the indigent conditions became so unbearable that the camp was abandoned, all that remained was a single egg that was left at the camp.

The abandoning of the refugee camp was like an exodus of all of those that lived there, all leaving and moving together in a mass migration. The only direction they could go was south, towards the tunnel that would lead them to Basalt City. During the journey, the group began to slowly began to deteriorate, be it from families staying at Celia's Pokemon Care or Summersnow Farm, or some just being left behind. Then, there were pokemon attacks. Ever since they left, refugees could've sworn that they saw shadows moving in the distance, or a piercing pair of eyes in the night. The pokemon that they have left behind have turned their grief into anger, which they took out on no one else but those who abandoned them, and followed the group and struck periodically. Anders saw shadows, too, but it was always the same one, a thin, fleeting figure with two tails that dashed through the snow and between clumps of tall grass; and it only appeared around him, as if it took a liking to him.

Then, the worst possible misfortune fell upon them, a blizzard in the middle of the night that cloaked the refugees in a contant frigid fog. Even worse, the pokemon that followed them used this opportunity to attack. In the chaos of the battle that ensued, Anders became separated from the rest of the group, and became lost in the middle of the blizzard. Dark and cold, the boy feared for his life, that is, until he saw the shadow. This time, however, it approached him, and revealed itself to be a Buizel, one with a particular interest in Anders. As he would later realize, this was the pokemon from the egg that survived at the camp. He took great care of the egg until the day he was forced to leave it behind, and it must have hatched shortly after he left and came looking for him. The reunion was unfortunately short lived, and only a momement after Anders met the Buizel, it darted of into the blizzard, making him run after the pokemon. It seemed that the curious pokemon was also looking after the boy, as it led him right back to his parents, who were safe and sound after the attack.

Once the blizzard dissipated, the rest of the refugees were able to swiftly complete their quest to the tunnel, and safely made it to Basalt City. Now feeling that he finally felt a sense of ease in the more temperate temperatures that met him, Anders turned his attention to his new friend, Chopper, a name which the Buizel happily accepted. Not too long after that, Anders, now using his surname as an alias, had to take another journey, this time to Sunshine City. This journey, however, was much easier to take, and much quicker, too.

Personality: Anders appears and acts younger than he actually is. Curious, enthusiasic, and is opimistic, almost to a fault. This cheerful persona, however, is all just a façade. What lays beyond the façade? That is to be left unknown for now, but let's just say that living in the poverty of Summersnow has made him quite... cold.
Likes: Campfires, helping others, and Chopper, his best and only friend.
Dislikes: The cold, ice-type pokemon, unecessary violence.

Name: Maxwell "Max" Vinca
Gender: Male
Age: 18

Biography: Son of former Kanto professor, Professor Vinca, Maxwell has lived his life overwhelmed by information on Pokemon. With one older brother and a father as a professor, Max has constantly felt the need to learn and catch up to the two of them his entire life. His father's particular specialization on behavioral reactions of Pokemon between one another prompted him to force his son to go towards Sunshine City in the current days. Yet this wouldn't be the first time that Max's education or life was changed at the whim of his dad. Professor Vinca often enrolled his son in camps and young student programs that educated kids on Pokemon. His older brother Gareth was a ranger, and both the pride and joy of the family while encouraging his younger brother along the way. Max unlike his brother was the one who wanted to become a professor like his father but a failure to jump in and study as intensively like his dad always held him back. Without his father to push him it was uncertain how well he would do. His first taste of the true world of wonders he lived with came when he was given a Squirtle by his father, months before he was mysteriously on an indefinite leave. The feisty pokemon taught him to have patience, but fed of an arrogant attitude that began to develop within Max. Having spent 4 successful years with the Squirtle and a desire to leave the house and become a trainer of his own right, there are bigger things ahead than were behind him. Now in Sunshine City, he plans on growing his own collection of pokemon while hoping to gain enough information about Pokemon to send back home to his father to make him proud.

Name: Nate Victorian
Gender: Male
Age: 16

Biography: Nate was born in the far off Orre region, a land plagued by many gang syndicates. The most well known was Cipher, a group dedicated to dominate the world through their shadow Pokemon. Though this gang would eventually meet their demise, their work on shadow pokemon was never completely undone even years after their end. Coincidentally, the lead scientists tasked with curing this epidemic were Nate’s parents, working at the Pokemon HQ Lab. Following Ciphers dissolvement, researchers raced to their headquarters on Citadark Isle in hopes to uncover what information they could gather. Among their findings was a mysterious egg, which was brought back to the lab and ultimately giving to Nate. After months it had finally hatched, revealing Larvesta, a very rare Pokemon with little known about it. Along with the egg, strange documents were discovered about a secret project taking place on Adeia. A group of the lab’s finest were sent to the region to reveal what Cipher had plotted, with Nate who eventually was able to convince his parent’s to let him join them. Erin and Minx.

WIP

Trainer

Image

He wares a pair of worn jeans, black combat boots, and a worn Camouflage BDU jacket adorned with his Unit patches and rank.
Name: Erin McTavish
Gender: Male
Age: 22

Biography: He was born to a small country that few care to remember, it self being destroyed during the great war. Only being 11 when he was drafted in to his home country's militia force, he was given a flare gun, a knife (which he still has) and a pair of binoculars and told to scout out enemy positions, he saw service in some of the bloodiest campaigns of the war during the last 4 years. He would be assigned to a light infantry/scout platoon and would spend most of his time in the war behind enemy lines, reporting positions and would often times be on his own. In one of the last battles he was to serve in, he would loose his scouting team to an enemy ambush, with him self being the only survivor. With it ending after his 15th birthday, he found he had no home to return to, and no family nor fiends who survived save an older sister who had managed to flee with her husband to Adeia some time before. Travailing to Adeia when he turned 16, he stayed with his sister, doing odd jobs around town, but it became more and more clear that he was affected by what he had seen and needed help. His sister signed him up for a pairing program for rehabilitated Pokemon and War vets, and that's were he met Minx, the similarity combat traumatized Growlithe. The two didn't like each other at first, but over time it became apparent how much they needed each other, and over the year formed a bond. While he isn't in to battling, he needed the money and so, joined the new trainer program.
Personality: Hes quiet, to say the lest. the years during the war changed him. Hes quiet, observant, and a keen eyed tactician. While he's not against making allies, he will try to not make friends having lost so many.
Likes: Red heads, Cinnamon candies, Hot coco, the forest
Dislikes: Arrogant trainers, unruly Pokemon/kids

Pokémon

Image

Name: Minx (Growlithe)
Gender: Female
Age: 6
Pokéball Type: Regular(?)

Biography: Born to a cruel and abusive master, she spent most of her early life fighting other young Pokemon just to survive. She was favored due to an apparent heightened intelligence when compared to most other Pokemon in the ring and often out smarted her foes on her own. At heart, she didn't want to fight, but didn't want to die either. On her last fight, she purposely let her guard down and was wounded, and like any failures, was thrown out on the street and wondered, injured and tired, for some time before she collapsed in front of a Gym. Being taken in and cared for, she was put in a program to match Pokemon with traumatized War veterans and matched with Erin, him self being enrolled unwillingly buy his sister. At first, the two disliked each other, how ever over time, they bonded as a pair.
Emotional State: She's mostly calm and collected, can be cute and loving if need be, but can snap and turn in to a nightmare if Erin is threatened.
Personality: She is a calm and collected canine. Having spent the last 4 years with Erin, she has learned to trust (even with her life, and he trust hers with his) due to multiple experiences with Erin have forged a bond. While predominantly cool, she can be a happy go lucky, almost puppy like when she wants to, but can, at the drop of a dime, turn in to a fierce and deadly opponents if Erin him self is threatened.
Likes: Quiet, calm, naps, treats
Dislikes: Water types, arrogant Pokemon/trainers

Ability: Intimidate
Moves:
  • Bite
  • Roar
  • Fire fang(?)
  • Flame thrower (This can be removed or edited so ts unusable until she evolves)
(Starters may have 4 moves max. The limit of moves in the RP is 6. Oh, and don’t forget it’s a starter, so don’t put in the best moves you can think of)

Trainer:
Trainer

Image

Name: Liam Bryne
Gender: Male
Age: 26

Biography:
Liam was born in Ecruteak City, and enlisted in the Johto Army at age fifteen - following the occupation of his hometown. He served as a marksman for most of his four years, and received a field commission as a Warrant Officer in his region's Sniper Corps. His only Pokemon - a Ninetails - was slain in a raid on a PokeCenter during the waning months of the war, and left behind a little one.

Personality:
Liam is a thoughtful man, and never speaks without thinking. Calm and deliberate, he surrounds himself with quiet confidence - an acceptance of both himself and his actions. The veteran is soft-spoken and rarely raises his voice, though there are times when such is warranted. Liam places a high value on honor and integrity. Though he does not trust easily, he is loyal to a fault.

Likes:
The veteran's ideal evening would see him sitting in an overstuffed armchair, the soft glow of hearthfire illuminating the well-worn pages of a good book. A snifter of brandy wouldn't go amiss, the glass sparkling gently in the last light of the evening. A young woman, perhaps, for whom he would give up all that he was and more - and who would do the same for him. He is a romantic at heart, though he is also not opposed to liasons so long as both parties' intentions are made clear. Liam approves of respectful action - toward people and pokemon alike - until proven unworthy or unwise.

Dislikes:
Over the course of his career, Liam developed a distaste for brash arrogance and willful ignorance - qualities that saw many of his friends and comrades laid to rest. He is cautious, and is not fond of those who know what is moral or honorable and willfully choose to act contrary to those values. The veteran does not react well to those who are regularly disrespectful, nor does he tolerate those who seek to force their will upon others. Those who flaunt their war records or claim false valor garner little respect or appreciation from the young man. Those who break their word garner even less.

Original Pokemon:
Pokémon

Image

Name: Meleth (Vulpix)
Gender: Female
Age: 8
Pokéball Type: Ultra Ball

Biography:
Meleth's mother was caught by Liam as a Vulpix when he was just a child, and later became a Ninetails during the occupation of Ecruteak City. Meleth was the only survivor of the raid which killed her mother and siblings, and Liam is very protective of her.

Emotional State:
Meleth maintains a wary tolerance toward most humans, and visibly bears quite some affection for Liam. The young man has served as a surrogate parent for the little Vulpix, and has endeavored to avoid exposing her to true battlefield conditions. Mild abandonment issues.

Personality:
The young Vulpix has the curiosity common to those of her age, though it is tempered by a quiet, gentle nature that is revealed through the pokemon's interactions with her master. Meleth feels safest when in physical contact with Liam, and often will seek him when she feels that danger is near. What memory Meleth has of the waning months of the war has made her careful, but even that is not enough to have stifled the mischievous streak inherited from her mother.

Likes:
Meleth is fond of mountains and forests, feeling at home in the terrain most similar to the region of Johto - where she and Liam have spent most of their years. Despite this rugged outlook, the young Vulpix prides herself on her physical condition, and enjoys being brushed and groomed as well as engaging in physical exercise. She is more than passing fond of Liam, and looks upon him as a protector and father-figure. She prefers colder weather, and playing in the snow.

Dislikes:
The young Vulpix overheats easily, and does not do well in high-temperature environments. Additionally, she associates PokeCenters with her mother's death and has developed an irrational fear of them - forcing Liam to learn to care for her largely by himself, or take her to local clinics. Meleth is wary of other humans and pokemon, but not to the extent that she avoids them out-of-hand. She responds to aggression with aggression, and does not deal well with sadism.

Other: Was caught with a looted Ultra Ball during the PokeCenter raid.
Movest: Quick Attack, Ember, Hex, Double Team
Abillity: Flash Fire

Aryca Sovari

Postby Nuxipal » Thu Aug 11, 2016 4:18 pm

Trainer

Image

Name: Aryca Sovari
Gender: Female
Age: 15

Biography: Aryca is the daughter of two pokemon breeders from Johto and has spent most of her life around pokemon and know a great deal about how to treat them and interact with them as friends and companion. When her family moved to the Adeia Region five years ago she was ready to begin her pokemon journey herself and her parents gave her the Cyndaquil that had just hatched as her starter pokemon. However, they were notified that due to the traumatized pokemon, no new trainers were permitted to go on an adventure until the all clear was called. When they finally called for trainers to begin journey's again, Aryca was ready. She and Cyndaquil had already formed a strong friendship and the two had trained hard to be ready for this. However, before she could leave, disaster struck at home. Her father was rushed to Sunshine City Hospital with symptoms of a heart-attack in progress. The family lived about a half-day's bike ride outside of the city, so a helicopter had to be called to take her father. She and her mother traveled to the city themselves and were met by the Nurses who had attended her father.

Aryca's mother begged her to stay at least one more year so that she could help run the breeding program that her father had just started the week before. Aryca agreed and when news of the trainers that set off had all gone missing, Aryca's mother didn't want her to leave at all. The following year's journeys were cancelled, but upon the invention of the Alarm Watch, a new batch of Pokemon Trainers were expected to head out into the world. This one would be larger than many before due to the backlog of potential pokemon trainers and Aryca was determined to be one of them. She sent an application in for an Alarm Watch and a Pokedex to be sent to her family's home. A week later they both arrived with an acceptance letter. Extremely excited she set off on her journey with Cyndaquil, now very well trained, to collect badges and become a Pokemon Trainer. However, she does eventually wish to return and continue working as a Pokemon Breeder just like her parents.

Personality: Very comfortable around pokemon, but shy around other people her age. Growing up she didn't have any friends her age due to her parent's profession as breeders. She is typically happy, but the loss of her father has left her feeling as if she is missing a part of herself.
Likes: Pokemon, Pokemon Breeding, The Outdoors
Dislikes: Crowded places, People who are mean to their pokemon, Rain Storms

You see that face, prepare your anus...

Name: Mason Reed or just Mason
Gender: Male...
Age: 15

Biography: Born to a small, hardy, and remote village in the southwest area of the mountain range of Adeia a decade and a half ago, Reed has always been a rough but obedient kid, and this roughness of his coincides with his rock solid determination and nearly unbreakable will. However, even though good natured, if given even the slightest of nudges, this young man will go hypersonic ballistic, meaning he has intense anger issues. Don't bring that topic to it, it's the strongest nudge to him. The reason behind the anger issues is because, early in the boy's life, he was starting to develop a sense of impatience, this grew and grew slowly, and impatience evolved into anger, and that very anger grew and grew, though as it grew, the measures to contain it improved in turn. It's winter now, and the village is beginning to be covered in inches of snow, and the fire-type Pokemon owned by his many neighbors began heating up the place. The winter was starting to get harsher and harsher, and during one of the explorations by his father, the thirteen year old accidentally caught his very first Pokemon, his Ralts. The winter seemed to slightly thaw at this occasion, and a celebration ensued. When he became fourteen, he began training his Ralts, and it grew quite a bit. Then, he became fifteen, and he was encouraged to go on, and go down the mountain to take on the League. The teenager did as such, and off he went, landing at the doorstep of Professor Alice's place.
Personality: Hardy, Determined, Willing, Loyal, Cynical, slightly Slothful, and Extremely Stubborn in a good way.
Likes: The mountains, grey things, silence, people like him, food, and for reasons unknown, blood.
Dislikes: The opposites of his likes

Does this look like the face of mercy?

Name: Ralts, I don't nicknames
Gender: Male
Age: 8
Pokéball Type: Pokeball

Biography: Suspected to be hatched healthily a few hikes north of Reed's village, this Ralts has first been seen at the dead corpse of his Gardevoir mother, he seemed to let out a weak and guttural cry that could be heard by a nearby listener. He was seen again at the outskirts of the village during a local village feeding alongside other Pokemon, he seemed to horde any leftovers and gobble them down, and the sounds of Synchronoise firing off nearby could be heard after this and in the night, indicating that the Ralts has been training hard. A few years later, he was brutally beating a ice-type Pokemon with his move and a quick claw, as he was going to make the final ending strike, he was hit in the head hard by a Pokeball, rendering him unconscious. He would awaken in the same Pokeball, and faint voices, presumed to be his trainer were heard. He was let out by his trainer, given a bunch of food items before going back to the ball, this was repeated, and when the trainer became fourteen, he began training the Ralts, and when the age of fifteen came, they went down the mountain.
Emotional State: Mostly deep in thought, though he has anger outbursts once in awhile...
Personality: Serious and has low tolerance for antics, though he may pull a few pranks here and there. Homicidal, this personality only surfaces when extremely angered enough, or has been training hard.
Likes: Seriousness, rubber ducks, observant ones, and surprise surprise for a homicidal Pokemon, blood.
Dislikes: Too much antics, loud people, and rash decisions.

Ability: Synchronize
Moves:
  • Synchronoise
Other: Has a reddish Quick Claw

Name: Silurious Magg
Gender: Male
Age: 15

Biography: Silurious was born in the sinnoh region. He had always loved researching pokemon, from a very young age he would go outside and study the caterpies or poocheyenas near his village. However he didn't just do it for school, or because his parents were scientists. He did it because he loved pokemon. Surious excelled at his studies in school (although he didn't have too many friends) and was a quiet charismatic child.
However Silurious was never quite satisfied with his current quiet and sleepy life. When the great war broke out his parents and older brother Tedros were drafted and si
Silurious was left in the custody of a boring and child-hating aunt.
However his life changed drastically when he saw an add for a cabin boy on the ss Holmes. The Holmes was a research and supply ship, since formal schooling ended at 14 in his village he figured it would be a good way to further his studies, and get away from his aunt.
With nothing left to loose he signed up for the job. He spent a few months on the ship and was thoroughly enjoying himself when it all was shattered in a matter of minutes. The ship was in route to supply a naval base near northern adeia, when it was attacked near summersnow. The mission was lead by a few Walriens and their trainers although a few spheals were brought along so the could be trained in battlefield tactics.
Silurious was standing near the rail when the onslaught began. The initial impact of the attackers first moves was large and as the ship bucked and swayed Silurious was thrown of the ship.
One of the Spheals who was brought along to be trained noticed the boy floundering kin the icy water and felt a sudden wave of pity. Disobeying orders from the commanders she swam to the boy and began nudging him.
Silurious was half unconscious from the impact and cold but the nuzzle stirred him back to life. He managed to cling to the Spheal as she tried to sneak away. On a stroke of good luck the Spheal managed to escape unnoticed probably due to the heat of the battle. Fortunately for both of them the attack happened happened only a few miles from summersnow and they managed to make it to shore.
After a few days of arduous travels and hiding from ghosts in the pinewoods they managed to reach celias pokemon care (not before silurious lost three fingers on his right hand to frostbite. (thumb pointer an middle)) and being a kind old lady she allowed them to stay there for a while.
Eventually Silurious managed to get passage on a boat to sunshine city where he intends to begin a pokemon journey with Spheal (who he named Arendel) and find out what happened to his parents and brother.
Personality: He is intelligent and charismatic although he always seems sober and distant as he is always thinking about his family and past life.
Likes: Pokemon, the cold, snow and books. He also loves big trees and quiet secluded spots.
Dislikes: The heat, chaos, Arendel, excessive noise and people who are mean or abusive to their pokemon.
Items: Adeia Rules Book, a Trainer’s Journal, a Map of Adeia, a Pokédex, the Alarm Watch, 5 Poké Balls and $2800.

Around the time that Arendel was four Sam was assigned to go on a short training mission near cinnabar island. Sam's ship was attacked by one from the Kalos region. There were no survivors.
Initially Arendel was overwhelmed with sorrow but soon the sorrow became rage. Arendel advanced quickly through her combat classes and hated the enemy more than anything else. She caught the attention of her commanders and soon they decided to send her on a real training mission.
Arendel was overjoyed at the prospect, in her mind this was the perfect opportunity to extract revenge for Sam's death. She trained extensively for the event and was met with a feeling of grim satisfaction when the day came.
At first the invasion was going well. The walriens almost immediately busted open the ship's hull and began to attack the crew while the Spheal cadets watched. But then Arendel saw him. The boy was floundering around in the water helplessly. He resembled Sam so greatly she initially thought he had arisen from the dead. However almost seconds later her fantasy was busted. Sam's hair wasn't blue. But just as Sam had this boy challenged her way of thinking. "All of them can't be terrible people." The thought struck her. So she took a deep breath and then swam forward ready to begin a new chapter in her life.

Trainer

Image

Name: Kurt Westwoods
Gender: Male
Age: 18

Biography: Born to a turbulent family living in Johto in the pre-war period, Kurt was, at an early age, sent away to his estranged father living in Violet City. Kurt's father, a former trainer with a skilled team, owned a Tyranitar that he had raised from birth, that caught the attention of many people for its sheer power. Especially the military. In fact, the Johto Army called Kurt's father as one of the first trainers to fight on the frontlines for them, using the Tyranitar's destructive capability against the enemy, of course. Since Kurt was young and didn't know much about what was going on, the news of war coming to him would be a shocker considering his young age at the time. Since his now divorced wife cut off all communications with Kurt's father even before the war began, Kurt's father had no choice but to abandon his son, leaving him in the care of the boy's uncle, who lived in the bigger, apparently safer Goldenrod city. As Violet city was among the many on the front lines in the war, Kurt never saw his home since.

Kurt's father had told him that he was simply going out to work, and that he would be back soon. Sadly, however, he wouldn't be coming back for a long time. With the news that came back saying that Violet city was among the many occupied by enemy forces, so did the news of his parents' deaths. Realizing that the rest of the region could fall under the same fate, Kurt's uncle took the boy with him, where they fled the war to the Adeia region. For the rest of his life so far, Kurt grew up in Sunshine City with his uncle which, despite being the only true home he had, still lacked the feeling he had when he used to live in Johto. His uncle, working a busy job, most of the day was absent from home, but got up every morning to take Kurt to school and feed him, and was almost always available via a phone call, regardless of the time. Unlike most kids, Kurt never really liked Pokemon. In fact, he hated them - he hated them even more after he figured out about his parents and about the great war, blaming the cause of the war to be over Pokemon in his opinion. While everyone else around him became trainers and other professions associated with Pokemon, Kurt mostly stayed to himself, seeing as his life was taking a sudden, miserable turn.

It was two years before our story started when Kurt's uncle suddenly came home early from work, when Kurt was busy watching television. His uncle had discovered his father's will that was bound to be given to Kurt should he never come back from war to see his son. In his will were various photos of the family, including infant Kurt and, at the time, his Father's Larvitar, which soon grew to a Tyranitar as he rose as a trainer. Also in his will were $5,000, several Pokeballs, a Pokedex and Pokegear issued to him by the military, several posthumuous medals of Kurt's father and his Tyranitar, and a pass-code and account information to seemingly Kurt's Father's account in the Pokemon Storage System. Upon entering in the pass code, the only Pokemon inside was, rather than a Pokemon, an Egg, which was revealed to be the egg of Kurt's Father's Tyranitar, kept hidden just for a moment like this. It had seemed that his father had planned for Kurt, despite his dislike for pokemon, to become a trainer, to live on his legacy as a great trainer as he was. Initially reluctant to this, Kurt took the will (and the Egg), and left for home.

Assuming the Storage System account as his, Kurt gave the money and Pokeballs to his uncle, who would save them for a later date in his room. He forgot about leaving the Egg inside of its case which was in his backpack and, while he was on his way home from School, it hatched on him. Without a second to spare Kurt caught the hatched Pokemon - a Larvitar, out of instinct as it walked into the street into oncoming traffic. He soon realized it was apparently the child of Kurt's Father's Tyranitar, bound to be given to him as a gift at some point, should he had returned from war. While his view on Pokemon remained mostly unchanged, Kurt's revelation hit him as he caught the pokemon with the Pokeball attached to the case: His father wanted him to become a trainer, and continue his legacy.

Initially reluctant at first, Kurt decided to go out into the world with Larvitar to become a trainer, but, remained mostly in Sunshine City, as he was unfamiliar with the terrain of Aedia. Mostly staying in the city to go on his bizarre adventures, it was only until just recently where he decided on planning to venture into the Sunwood Forest first to begin his adventure, with the introduction given to him by Professor Alice. Kurt made it his primary goal to live up to his father's legacy, which involved gaining all the badges of Adeia. Somehow. Who knows? Maybe he might even go for champion one day.

However, the question still remains, will he actually continue his father's legacy? Considering his view on Pokemon remained unchanged, and combined with his mixed feelings for his only Pokemon, Larvitar, will Kurt even get anywhere? He hasn't even gotten acquainted with his Pokemon even now, and has yet to battle it.

Only time can tell. Time, and dedication, to Larvitar, and to bettering himself as a person.

Personality: Because of his view towards Pokemon in general, let alone his Larvitar, Kurt is usually seen as a generally friendly, yet rather boring individual. Since the entire world basically revolves around Pokemon, and since Kurt dislikes Pokemon, he is seen as dull and boring, with nothing special to him besides his Larvitar. At times Kurt can even be called abusive towards his Larvitar, treating it more like property or a pet, rather than a Pokemon and a friend. However, Kurt's sweet spot is also his least favorite pokemon. With enough nagging Larvitar can get Kurt to do things, even if its speaking its name incomprehensibly to him repeatedly, or gesturing him to do something. While his Larvitar is usually sad due to its treatment, Kurt will at times try to make it happy. even if he's not realizing that he's doing the one thing he would never expect himself to do - care for a Pokemon.

Likes: His father (RIP), his Uncle's motivational support, Sleeping, Reading, listening to the Pokegear radio. Most importantly, Not having to deal with Larvitar. Food-wise anything with the word "noodle" in it is fine.
Dislikes: Larvitar (his Larvitar), Pokemon in general, Pokemon battles, heights, being alone. In that order.

Pokémon

Image

Name: Larvitar
Gender: Female (Kurt does not know Larvitar is female as of now)
Age: 2
Pokéball Type: Normal

Biography: From the very beginning, the relationship between Larvitar and Kurt was rocky. But, some backstory first.

Larvitar came to being as an egg from the Tyranitar belonging to Kurt's father. Since he was too busy to care for the egg as he was being sent off to fight in the war, the egg was placed in the Pokemon Storage System by Mr. Westwoods to be brought back another time, presumably as a gift to his son when he came back from war. However, he knew for sure that he wouldn't be coming back from war, due to the fierceness of the fighting. Instead, he put it in as his will, along with other items that his son should need when he *hopefully* became a Pokemon Trainer in his legacy.

Larvitar was recovered from the Pokemon Storage System from Someone's Computer in Sunshine City many years after, by Kurt's Uncle. The then 16-year old unknowingly forgot the Egg and its case inside of his bag as he walked to school, allowing the egg to mature before it suddenly hatched, on his long way home from school. Right at the beginning the relationship between the two wasn't looking great, when Larvitar unknowingly walked into oncoming traffic. Before disaster struck, Kurt suddenly caught the pokemon, unintentionally saving the Larvitar before a major accident happened. Kurt commonly treated his Larvitar more like Property rather than a friend, and commonly kept her out exposed to the elements while he went to school. As a result Larvitar's personality went through an almost complete change to a "depressed" one, due to the treatment of her owner. However, Larvitar remained vigilant and would always find her way to her trainer, even in the roughest of rain or harshest of conditions. While in no way, shape, or form was it an abusive relationship, Larvitar did want to sleep indoors with her owner and, in a sudden move, dug a hole into the house just to get inside. Thus ended the period of sleeping outside.

As Kurt's only Pokemon, Larvitar had yet to train its abilities properly in a battle, let alone training. Two years after it hatched, Kurt still has yet to train his Larvitar, leaving Larvitar to practice on her own in Kurt's backyard while he is out at school. With school being out, the now 18 year old Kurt finally decided to live up to his Father's legacy and become a great Pokemon trainer like he was, as well as get all of the badges of the Adeia region. However, due to Kurt's mixed feelings of Pokemon, as well as Larvitar being his only Pokemon, things might not be off to a great start as expected...

Emotional State: The only word I can describe how Larvitar feels is Depressed. What trainer leaves their Pokemon out in his backyard exposed to the elements all day? Larvitar does cheer up tremendously in the presence of Kurt, however.
Personality: Unknown to Kurt, Larvitar adores her owner as if he were more than a friend. Because Kurt has mixed feelings about Pokemon, Larvitar will try its hardest to get the attention of its owner, despite coming off as annoying. Its eager to battle, notable as how it tried to train itself in Kurt's backyard just to get his attention, but, until Kurt makes her stronger, she won't be making much progress against stronger opponents.

Likes: Kurt, Battling, Berries and walking with her owner.
Dislikes: Being left alone, Grass-type Pokemon, Rain, and being ignored by Kurt.

Ability: Guts (Hidden Ability: Sand Veil
Moves:
  • Bite
  • Leer
  • Sandstorm
  • Dig

Other: Presumed to be a male by Kurt.

Pokémon

Image

Name: Durant
Gender: Male
Age: 4
Original Owner: Walker (NPC)
Current Owner: Kurt Westwoods
Pokéball Type: Net Ball

Biography: Originally caught by Walker, the Bug-type trainer and Hiker from Hoenn that recently lost to Kurt, Durant was a member of a very much larger nest of Durants that Walker was unfortunate enough to step foot in. While it was a bit of a hassle to catch the Durant, he proved to be a good Pokemon in battles, until Walker's Nincada evolved, of course. Durant was a very disobedient pokemon, and among the many Bug-types Walker owned, he happened to be the most troublesome.

After Walker met Kurt Westwoods in the Sunwood Forest, he decided he had had enough with Durant, and offered to gift the Pokemon to Kurt as a parting gift. It turned out to be more of a joke after Kurt read over Durant's stats which, compared to his Larvitar's, were pitiful. However, Durant still has a long way to go in becoming a more powerful, effective Pokemon, so only time will tell if Kurt will be able to shape him and Larvitar up into a proper team. If he even cares for them, of course.
Emotional State: Disobedient
Personality: Durant can be described as having two differentiating personalities: His Prankster personality is light-hearted, but often pulls pranks with a reckless disregard for human life. Especially with Larvitar, its manipulative and capable of getting away with most of its deeds, if it is not caught. It likes to mess around and generally cause havoc, unless its in its other personality. Usually in battle mode with a good trainer, Durant can turn into a serious, durable killing machine, and, just like his survival instincts tell him to, can quickly turn the fight over in his favor. This is, however, if he has a good trainer, and Kurt seems not to be a suitable candidate..

Likes: Messing with people, other Durants, eating, battling
Dislikes: Stupid trainers, Larvitar (Kurt's pokemon), other Bug-types, water, and Kurt

Ability: Swarm or Hustle
Moves:
  • Vice Grip
  • Metal Sound
  • Iron Defense
  • Crunch
  • Flash Cannon (Once leveled up)

Trainer

Name: Alain Durand
Appearance: Short blond hair, brown eyes, tan skin, often wears dark sunglasses. Wears a white tank top and blue shorts.
Gender: M
Age: 13

Biography: Descended from 2 Kalos natives, Alain had a very kind childhood. His parents, deciding they wanted to get out of the crowded city of Anistar, moved to Mossdeep City in Hoenn. Alain was born here, and spent 11 years swimming and surfing in the ocean around the island. Eventually, Alain's father and mother left Mossdeep to settle down in Sunshine City. He really doesn't find himself attracted to any specific Pokemon or type. He bonds quite well with water types, though. After about a year in Sunshine City, he left home to go on his adventure.
Personality: An uber-chill surfer dude, Alain knows how to keep situations calm and light. But he's not unintelligent- he has a lot of survivalist skills taught to him by his mother, a somewhat- renowned backpacker, and can navigate well with a clear view of the sky thanks to his astronomer of a father.
Likes: Surfing, swimming, stargazing, cheesy camp drama television shows, nerdy people.
Dislikes: People who complain too much, rat-like Pokemon (Ratatta, etc.) (he's afraid of them), tofu, indecisiveness, slow walkers.

Emotional State: Happy
Personality: Somewhat of a foil to Alain, Piplup is somewhat excitable. She's quite confident and gutsy, and it can occasionally be her downfall.
Likes: Spinning until she gets dizzy, the ocean, Alain, watching TV with Alain even though she has no idea what is happening, unexpected gifts
Dislikes: Falling, hot sand, sitting still for very long, cat-like Pokemon (Meowth, Liepard, etc.) (she's afraid of them)

Name: Haint Trapsum
Gender: Male
Age: 10

Biography: Ten year old Haint Trapsum was earning extra money as the night attendant’s lab while his older brother, the real night attendant, went to help his fiancee’s family in an emergency. Haint had generally been a very sensitive boy and as midnight approached, he felt he heard something calling for help. He quickly arrived where the egg was incubating, removed it, and helped the new pokemon escape the egg by prying open the eggshell along a fissure. The emerging pokemon was a Ghastly and it seemed weak from it’s efforts to hatch. Grabbing the first pokeball (standard) he could find in the lab, he captured the ghastly and took it to the healing machine. When the machine had finished, he released the ghastly and fed it some pokechow.
When Professor Alice entered the lab the next morning, she found the pair sleeping peacefully. Realizing the attachment, she decided not to part the two. She also later forgave Haint’s older brother.
