Martial Arts Dojo Invaded!

The Order of the Grey Wardens alongside Vivec the God-King of Vvardenfell's Buoyant Armigers and Roavin of The South Pacific Special Forces, on a whim, have decided to start Fash Bash August 2016 in the region of Martial Arts Dojo. This military instillation of Kaiserreich has been used to launch offensive operations which aimed to spread hate and destruction across NationStates. Unlike other organizations with questionable iconography, Kaiserreich has had ties to many Nazi regions and had even embraced the Nazi Swastika.

The Grey Wardens would like to invite all who house a distaste of seeing these loathsome ideologies in our community to join us in Martial Arts Dojo. We could even use this opportunity to celebrate what we have in common. I encourage anyone who joins us in this operation to use the region's facilities to bond with and better know their fellow gameplayers. If you have any ideas for activities that the occupying forces may enjoy, please let us know!

Uniting Gameplay might seem idealistic to many, but to me it's something close to my heart. I've seen a number of facets on the R/D spectrum throughout my time on NS, and there is one thing in common we have: behind the computer screen, behind our nations ad personas; we're all people in the end, with real lives, real feelings and real interests. Just like you and me.

I look in chats and see one side trash the other, and it saddens me. I've known some absolutely amazing people who a number of people say should be my "enemy", but if I hadn't, my experience here would be so, so different. There are good and bad people out there, regardless of what side they're on, and we ought to find a moment to take a step back from the keyboard to think about what impacts our words might have on others, or to stop the propaganda machines for even just a minute to get to know someone for who they are.

I completely relate to you. This post resonates. Ultimately, there's the OOC outside of RP/GP/raiding/NS. Not all is about "which side" or "politics" or drama. There's always more to a person and the friendships I've made regardless of affiliation/region/(insert) are my cherished. In the end it's a game. treating people with kindness should be a more frequent thing ^-^

A Warden effortlessly dispatches a group of Darkspawn.

A great night for the Wardens! A large group of Blight Hawks was spotted early in the night, but their first party was run down and slaughtered within the very first minute of update. The steel of the Wardens quickly became sodden with Darkspawn blood as the Wardens stood guard in a large number of regions, soundly defeating any Darkspawn unfortunate enough to be pursued. A few short breaks were taken by the Wardens to liberate Great Imperial Britain and exterminate the lumbering Darkspawn within together with our friends in TITO and Vvardenfell, later the Wardens also stopped by to reinforce the ongoing raid of the fascist military base Martial Arts Dojo and show the locals an informative video. Overall it was a very productive night for the Wardens and we're all rocking out to this baby https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KsllKOAM_4s.

Watching the Wardens attempt to keep up with it all was interesting to watch, especially as your results would have been a tad more successful had you employed some elements of strategy and not "pick a target at random and pile".

This was a good past couple of days for the Wardens, even if some of it wasn't reported here. We achieved a lot and worked effectively with our allies to accomplish a lot.
