TARGET - XI OLYMPIAD, AEROPAG
How long left until we reach our target;
4 GOLD MEDALS
5 SILVER MEDALS
4 BRONZE MEDALS
Rank Gold Silver Bronze TOTAL X 0 1 0 1
Medal Count: Either those medals above or 10 medals in total. Preferably 17 medals.
Described by many during the Opening Ceremony at Aeropag was very awkward and unsettling. Regardless of that, the ceremony was very patriotic, and highlighted the nations love for the sport we aren't too keen on - football. Not only that, but our flagbarer did us well during the ceremony, as he waved that flag high in the sky, as the multicoloured team came out in full style at the opening ceremony.
Leonardo Matyas on BITC News at 4am.
Before the stadium had invited all the countries in to the 11th Olympiad, news of a new team started to spread. They were to be called the Independent Olympic Athletes - which seemed a bit degenerative. The Independent Olympic Athletes were to come out in the stadium with some horribly designed clothing - singling them out from the rest of the delegations who came out in all colours of the rainbow. As the French started, we knew that it was time to settle down and start watching the Olympic Games. At our end, the Olympics didn't start until late in the night, which meant that only 2.1 million people watched the ceremony - and it's expected that half of them fell asleep before it had even started. At 9.00am on the BITC channel, there was a repeat for those who went to sleep.
Then, a lorry truck came in to the arena and reversed in to the stadium. And from then, it was some sort of pandemonium. As the stadium transformed in what Aeropag is now today, and it was a very intense scene. It featured thunder and lighting, and boy, was it getting exciting! Suddenly, out of nowhere came aeroplanes and all of the sort, before 32 men came out on the stage. The men looked like they were ready to play something. And, they ended up playing a game of football. We don't really know why the did this, when we are celebrating the Olympic Games as opposed to the World Cup, but nevertheless, watching a boring match of football was better than having out of tune singers parading in the stadium. After the footballers had their fair share of the time in the stadium, other sports started to come out and they stood together in the Olympic estoile; usually the "creme-de-la-creme" of the ceremony - the formation of the estoile, or "the star."
Then it was the first nation to come out, and as the ceremony went on, it got more boring. The Britonish came out twelfth and stood out as we had an oiled up, rugby player, Leonardo Matyas leader the way as we came out in our colours of the pH scale, in pH order - with the alkalies coming last. The Athlètes olympiques indépendants, or "the Independent Olympic Athletes" came out of a bullish murmur from the crowd in Aeropag, one which caused some athletes in Britonisea distaste;

Listening to the crowd murmur at the IOAs. #Discouraging

Not nice listening to the murmurs for the #IOA team.

At least some of them cheered. #Aeropag
Regardless of the bad perception of the International Olympic Athletes, the Olympics ceremony were somewhat okay. The Olympic tower looked nice. The fireworks also looked nice too.Proposed Logo
THE US SUMMER GAMES
THE I SEASONAL SUMMER GAMES OF THE ULTIMAVERSE
Vhe 1ez Juguwais'eter Ultimæverté
"The US Summer Games," or "The Ultimaversian Seasonal Summer Games" is unlike any other Olympic Games. Whereas the Olympics is held in one place - or two places at most, the US Summer Games will take place all over the region, and will last three months. The first day of the US Summer Games is on the 2nd of September, and the Opening Ceremony will take place in the country that hosts the first event, (football and rugby). It is expected that there will be around 180 medal events, however, the Britonish Olympic Association would like to invest in having over 200 medal events in over 30 sports. Currently, only 129 medal events have been confirmed, with 57 of those medal events happening in November alone - mostly coming from Athletics and Cycling. However, there has been outrage as it has been expected that all water-based sports will not take place until the Regional Olympics in May, and instead will be replaced for simpler sports like Rollerskating or ten-pin bowling.
It has also been confirmed that Britonisea would like to host around 60 events of the 180 available, which would mean Britonisea taking over 1/3 of the Games, eventhough there are 40 other nations able to bid to host events at the games. Medal hopes are coming from Judo, where there are 14 medals available, weightlifting and athletics - which could be held in the Doportedas Stadium to finish off the Summer Games. Countries like Ndaku, Aurevbush, Arioslavia and Juggalo Syndicate has confirmed participation, while Manticoran Empire and Ekoz are unheard of.
Nations outside the Ultimaverse are also participating too, with two of the nations coming from Britonisea's former Union of Conferederate Regions and close ally, Werenth who have 3 nations signed up. It's expected that a total of 24 nations will sign up from other regions like the People's Confederation of Qandaristan. Moreover, it is expected that countries Kalosia, Polkopia, Anollasia, New Edom, Cheongji, West Phoencia, Qasden, Kep, Kannap and Ethane will also be invited to the US Summer Games, making it a momentous occasion for all.
The Ultimaversian winners of the competition will then go on to qualifying to the final of the UCR Summer Olympic Games in May.
