Psst. You probably aren't meant to talk about the gulags.

This poll was conducted by measuring the number of Senators who voted in the last round of voting. Before any of you pedantics grab at my throat, this is the best way of doing things. There would be no way to measure opinion otherwise.
The question polled was this.
"If an election for the government of Elizia were to be held tomorrow, who would you vote for?"
The results were as such.
Liberal Democrats/Chinese Interests Party/Federalist Party (Coalition) - 45.1% (14/31)
Elizia First/Path to Harmony (Coalition) - 16.1% (5/31)
Labour/National Worker's Party (Coalition) - 12.9% (4/31)
Social Liberal Party - 9.7% (3/31)
Others and Independents - 9.7% (3/31)
National Islamic Party - 3.3% (1/31)
Elizian National Congress - 3.2% (1/31)
This result clearly shows the governing coalition a full twenty-nine points ahead of the Official Opposition, and miles ahead of the rest. No doubt the results may have been skewed due to the Lib Dems' uncanny ability to get the vote out, but this sure is a one-sided result that would certainly mean the NC and other opposition parties reduced to rumps in the new Senate.
As this was the first poll, there were no changes from previous weeks - however, it will be interesting to see how the new Elizia First leader, Raharjo Iskandar-Bambang, faces in the next set of polls.

Yeah, we're polling better than Jill Stine!

Elizian National Congress - 3
Social Liberal Party - 8

I put the independents at what I considered to be the political centre of the current senate - with the Lib Dem coalition to the right and all other parties to the left.
