Hextech Annie doesn't seem worth it. The in-game model is kinda...eh.

I like it! Except for the cold colors (just colorblind complaints), the design is great imo. Certainly worth being able to brag to everyone in-game. Not verbally, of course, the skin does the talking.
Too bad I'm a horrible Annie though.

But that's actually the disadvantage of hextech crafting. Before, people got skins on chanpions they played a lot and were probably good at. Now, skins and skill don't really intersect anymore...

I can assuredly say they never intersected.

You got skins on champions you played a lot and therefore you were objectively better at the game when playing the champions you coincidentally had skins on. Statistically speaking, they used to intersect to the point where a skin told others ''hey, I main this guy''.

Of course, things in your region might be different. Only EUNE is so poor that we get skins on champions we play. I do realize maybe your region's dudes get skins on champions they've never played because they have money to do so or something.

I actually got my first skin (Dreadknight Garen) for free. Some guy gave me a code. First one I bought was Hillbilly Gragas.

Well, it's ideal to first get the skin and then start playing her. As I said, you get the champion for 0 IP alongside the skin, so if you buy the champion for IP it's your loss.

You get Riot Girl Tristana on their Facebook (you can't miss it), same for the Garen skin on their twitter @loleu (I think that implies it's a different twitter outside the EU), and the Alistar skin used to be available by subscribing to their YouTube but as the coding of the site changed, you can get it now by sending a ticket to RiotGames.
